1141  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: October 26, 2017, 06:07:32 PM
Hm....I don't think there's a currency out there being dealt into illegal activities. Anything worth a great deal of value is likely to fall into that category.

Any currency that has a value can be use for illegal activities so it's not with the money but with the users who are thinking
of using USD as a tool to run their illegal transactions. Cryptocurrencies can also be use for illegal transactions so there is no difference.
Even gold or diamond or any valuable asset can be used as long as it is a form of payment. USD is a valuable tool so as any other form of currency and it is not exempted from being use for illegal activities.
These dudes involved in such activities obviously know how they cover their tracks and if caught, apparently will face the law in whatever country they may be.

From OP's point of view, I do not see how it is particular only to US since every other country as well always end up having some set of crooks. The only difference is that US being a generally used currency for international transactions makes it more common for payment.
1142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tricky Question, Sell BTC and buy Altcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 12:09:42 PM
In short you are "gambling" because no one can tell Bitcoin price will go down or go up after the fork. Don't be too greedy, whatever you decide to do, friendly advice Wink
I feel this is just the best advise anyone can give the OP. If the OP knows he cannot trade effectively and probably know the right time to buy into a coin, then he should not bother.
Now is good anyway, knowing most of the coins will get pumped back and as soon as a decent profit is realized, it is best to sell and wait for another dip. Being too greedy looking for a very high profit is what has caused most people to lose their coins.
1143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: October 26, 2017, 10:31:31 AM
you actually have achived beginners luck, when many traders start, they do not earn anything at all. some even make huge losses. keep trying and seek as much information as possible from established gurus.
You can apply begineers luck but only in starting there is no chance you can always make profit just by trading any random coin , trading has many aspects involved like it's future , which all exchanges it will get listed , how it is helping the community and what features can beneficiary in the coming future. Making loss is a part of trading but it doesn't mean you sell it for a loss you instead hold it and wait if you bought it during any pump or dump then you might have to sell it in a loss but if you bought in a bearish market there is nothing really there for you to worry about.
There is just a little amount of time beginners luck can be of help. A time will come when trading goes wrong and that is when you see a newbie trader panic not knowing what to do and when to do it until they have lost a huge percentage of their funds.

Some coins are shitty and trading them will only make you lose more than you can gain and some newbies are always doing the FOMO thing, looking for where the price is rising, so they can quickly get in and get some profit, without plans or analysis, how won't trading go bad for them ?
1144  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: October 26, 2017, 08:44:37 AM
if your site is very good, gambling goes on forever and dating stops fast (people get addicted and keep coming back, or people find the person they're looking for and never return)
Gambling is truly addictive and it involves putting in funds by the gamblers normally as there is no free gambling unless you just want to introduce faucets. However, there are so many free to use dating websites today that having a dating website with bitcoin payment will not really move pretty fast unless there are just some who have enough to throw around for something they can easily get free even outside any of the sites.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETN Electroneum whats your price prediction for Dec 2017? on: October 25, 2017, 04:56:50 PM
So it will start in Nov 1 for $0.01 how much you think it will be in end of Dec 2017?

Anybody has some golden advice. Am planning to invest some.

No one can really say but I expect electroneum to have a pretty big fast move upwards before the end of this year with the huge hype it has gotten. It is a very lovely concept and it is possible we might see close to $0.03 - $0.05 maybe at the best case scenario.

They have almost 100k Users with 2 weeks left in the ICO.  Their goal was 75k to launch a successful marketing campaign.  I think that this coin is really going to surprise a lot of people.  My prediction is $0.10 in December.
It is really going to be full of surprises but it is crypto world and the way we have seen some surprises with this coin lately is the same way we might see either a negative or more positive surprises later on. I believe no matter the hype, it will still get dumped at first and if there is luck for it to spark the interest of more investors, it might get a boost back up.
1146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: October 25, 2017, 01:51:17 PM
Think fast.  You need to be able to figure quickly why it is falling and is it going to come back.  BTC drops based on this and that rumor sets and always comes back, is this true for the coin you have now that is dropping?  The thing that some people forget is that they have already made money on a coin, not always true, but often forgotten.  They buy a coin, do this and that and make a tidy bit of profit as it rises, then freak out and make this and that guess as it drops.
What I believe is this, if you have still got profit left, I will advise you to sell immediately and then wait for the price to fall the lowest it can, then you invest back. But if at the time of falling you’ve got no profit left, then I will say you should take the risk and leave it there.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Bitcoingold ?? on: October 25, 2017, 01:21:57 PM
Hello there I have 0.4 bitcoins in my electrum wallet right now.... how can I get the bitcoingold airdrop from that
i see on yobit exchange have support bitcoin gold , you can send your bitcoin to yobit exchange

i think you can get bitcoin gold , but 23-10-2017 yobit disable  withdraw and deposit  bitcoin ,hurry up
This is a very wrong move. He already has one of the best wallet he is keeping his coin and you are suggesting an exchange to him and worst part, yobit ? He should just relax and wait for the fork to be over so he can make control the funds himself to get his BTG. However, the decisions is apparently in his hands.
1148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading or HODLING on: October 25, 2017, 12:37:12 PM
When I first started day trading crypto earlier this yeah in low 1k's for BTC and about 80-90 for ETH I started making ridiculous amounts of profit and fast! I was mostly using Kraken, which I wont even get into how shit that platform is but anyways as im sure most are aware the massive correction/dip/crash whatever you want to call it wiped out majority of the profit earned prior.

I was forced to learn the hard way that if I had just held those original investments, no leverage, no day trades I would have made 10x more in the long-term. How many of you have experienced this same thing over the last 8 months???

Interested to see the perspectives, specifically with alts...
From the way you say this, it seems like you’re a professional with lots of experience in this trading $h!t lol. I would have chosen HODLING, but with what you’ve said, if I can be able to do well as that, then day trading is a better option for me.
1149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: October 25, 2017, 11:56:23 AM
Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto and Altcoin price is ruled by bitcoin trend. Bitcoin investment is made on a long term basis and it would give high returns. But altcoins are mostly pumped and dumped coins and mostly investments in altcoins are made in a short term basis.
You are right for long term investment bitcoin is very good but if you can do analysis and research then investing in altcoin is also not bad at all but need too much work instead of bitcoin as you have to watch market and read some charts for bitcoins because keeping eye on these things can increase your profit
As of recently, I believe Ethereum is the best Investment to make. Bitcoin was, but that was last few weeks ago, and another time will be on November. Overall, bitcoin is the best, cause it’s well balanced.

1151  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: October 21, 2017, 03:14:13 PM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/

I don't think so. Even though every transaction that we make are computer generated, still we need a place to store the soft data and hard data. If ever there is no more cash in the world, then they need to make an online bank for bitcoin.
Whether it's an online banking system or something else, fiat will serve as the base for the entire functioning. Based on the fact, it's really impossible to eliminate the banking system. Now, I expect banks need to get incorporated along with bitcoin and function. This will surely increase the usage of the bitcoin.
Exactly! Bitcoin cannot be used as a global currency and that is one.
Secondly, like you said, there is a basis at which we keep measuring the value of the bitcoin we have and whether we like it or not, it would continue like this until probably some countries decide to stop printing money and change the system of generating money by utilizing the blockchain technology but not without the banks still. Maybe, by then, U.S, will be making use of USDT. Grin
1152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When should we buy and sell? on: October 21, 2017, 02:53:44 PM
Experience when I buy when the price is the lowest, and sell when the price is at its highest level. Like the example yesterday I bought for $4681 and I sell it when the price reaches $5459 so you will get a good profit, only you are in demand to be able to see the market situation.
Sure, you have made some profit and this is only good for someone who is trading often anyway.
However, remember that it is easy to sell at highs  but you also have to understand that it is possible after selling, the demand will keep increasing and the bullish trend may not quickly stop and it is good to know when to get in back at that point, most especially if a resistance line is breached.
1153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: October 21, 2017, 11:21:22 AM
Well now it is the time to hold if you have trust in your self. You just have to put belief in Bitcoins that it is going to up. Fork is coming soon and I am expecting high rise in the price of Bitcoins, But if I had 1 Bitcoins I would've cashed out half of it and I will risk 50% of it.
That trust is paramount. Whatever happens, before the fork, after the fork, holding is just the thing at least for now. Holders usually have nothing to looe unless something pretty bad wants to happen to bitcoin which I doubt will ever happen at this stage. So one way or the other, the price will still go up no matter what. Your last strategy though is a nice one.

A little risk but can be worth it, if the price increases, you count your loss and if it reduces, you buy more and count your profit. Life is all about risk anyway.
1154  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: October 21, 2017, 10:47:09 AM
Let put ourselves on the shoe of the owner. In my cognitive evaluation on veracity of bitcoin popularity and numbers there is a big market if I do accept bitcoin as payment and option for a better marketing strategy but the government is not declaring it legal and how would do I compute the taxation.
It is a good sign for bitcoin prevailing in the world. when all the restaurants, shops, markets of different things, and the companies start accepting bitcoin then it will take less time for all the people of the world to invest, trade and deal in bitcoin.

All other paper currencies will disappear and all the people will use just one digital currency and that will be only bitcoin, because bitcoin is the mainstream.
It is really going to be a good sign, but as it is, I doubt if going mainstream is even possible. We still have some pretty high tx fees, transaction time is a little too low and etc. However, there are some other cryptos that I feel will be good for usage and that may have to be what we will end up having eventually.

Hardly will you really see people making use of paper currencies these days with the cashless age, so the use of bitcoin or crypto will even make it more extinct.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: October 21, 2017, 09:24:07 AM
Yes I believe so, it teaches us self control and discipline. In gambling you need to learn what is too much and when to stop. Gambling is a fun way to entertain ourselves but we should also learn to value our money and don't waste it too much.
Anyone who can discipline and control themselves when it comes to gambling will be able to control themselves in anything else in life.
So, I really feel this as a huge lessons one can learn in life from gambling. There are so many things in life that only self discipline and control can help us achieve faster, and if that can be part of someone's attribute, they help one achieve them faster.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 21, 2017, 09:11:10 AM
You will only lose your money more and more if you are very eager to take back your losses. Because if you are so passionate you will find it difficult to control your emotions, the lack of emotional control will not lead you to good, but will continue to step on you so you can not rise.
This one is definite. I have never seen anyone trying to take back losses coming out smiling unless there is just a huge luck on their side. I had this luck once though but that was the last time I ever had it before I stopped gambling for a while.
I had a streak of 18 losses playing martingale strategy on dice before reaching my limit, then I manually tried 1 more play and I got lucky. Since then, luck ran away and left me to my fate after increasing my bet.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: October 21, 2017, 08:28:20 AM
In the past, i only knew the game dice. Had several times got a jackpot. However, overtime my profit position changed to minus. Until finally, decided to do trading than gambling. More often use altcoin, ie clams.

I don't really win that much in gambling games like dice and roulette but they are my favorite gambling past time game. I always play them online with some balances or numbers I get from faucets. It is not that I am not hoping to win but the thing is, gambling or playing either dice or roulette, is so much fun.

That's great if you think gambling is fun, and not expecting much from gambling. Especially if you expect profit from gambling. For me, I just like to play coin-flip and HI-LO games. I do not really like games that are too complicated, so I take a simple one. One click and one way, we can immediately know the result. We can lose and profit in the blink of an eye.
Usually, complicated games usually give me the creeps and I always try to run away from them.
Dice which is a Hi-Lo game or Roulette has always been my target most times whenever I am gambling, knowing I only have to just stick on the fact that I don’t have to bet too much and have some good fund so I do not get burnt on long number of streaks. I also use to wonder how they can call some of this stuff provably fair and then you have very long streaks of reds!
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: October 21, 2017, 07:51:00 AM
The worst mistake in gambling is not controling yourself.
It leads you to addiction and you loose lots of money. Getting addicted to gambling will have a serious negative impact on your life.
Before even starting the act of gambling, the first plan should be how to control yourself in case it starts getting out of hand. It is easy to say, yeah, I can control it until you get in deep. If you know you have a very bad habit of not having self-control, then gambling is not for you, cause even the dudes with stony mind, falls.

Self control is the only hope you have for not making the most terrible mistakes of your life while gambling.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Earning Campaigns on: October 21, 2017, 07:29:45 AM
I see I'm a new member, so it would be hard to earn bitcoin because nobody enrolls new members in campaigns. But are there any altcoin campaigns here from where I can earn altcoins?
Is there a list of altcoin signature and social media campaigns?

I myself has not been any to a altcoin bounty campaign but I heard a lot of news saying that some of them have really gotten a good pay of out it. I think someone already posted the link, so you better check it out. Just be sure that you have read all the rules on the campaigns and usually it requires for you to have a ETH wallet so I recommend myetherwallet. But its your responsibility to take care of your password and your private keys. Goodluck to you and hope you find campaign that will suit your rank.
Some of them really do honestly. Though it takes some pretty huge time and risk knowing it all balls down to the success of the ICO, but I have joined some pretty good ones in their twitter campaign and the rewards has been pretty awesome. No weekly payment as you just have to wait for the ICO to end before you get paid. This might be a big concern for many people here and that is the reason they are avoiding bounty campaigns.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold for people with less than 1 BTC in wallet on: October 21, 2017, 06:44:39 AM
Hi guys, maybe it is silly question but does anyone know for sure will there be Bitcoin Gold coins even for people with less than 1 BTC in wallet with private key?
You will receive Bitcoin Gold even if you have 1 satoshi BTC. Cheesy

Yes that is true but it will not worth anything for sure. I don't understand people selling altcoins for even less than 1 btc. 1 btc gold will not worth huge money.
It depends on the amount that you have that is considered less than 1 BTC, it does not necessarily have to be 1 satoshi, and moreover it is free money and even if it is not as worth as BTC, it is going to be something. So saying it won't be worth anything is not just right. Remember 1 BCC was worth something and at the moment worth $328. That is something for someone who got it free.
