1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on 30k how was your feelings ? on: July 02, 2023, 06:41:48 PM
I am also optimistic that ATH price will recover within this year but maybe predict in Q4
The probability is too low to recover ATH this year, but you can expect it to be close to that price. The recorded ATH was $69k, while the current price is still at -55% of the ATH which means the market needs billions of dollars to get close to that number. I'm not optimistic about ATH this year, but I'm sure it will be achieved only after the halving.

The best option to think about right now is to buy and hold. We're in for a great time collecting bitcoins, so don't let fear take away your chances of getting bitcoin returns.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall or rise? $30400 the recent price on: July 02, 2023, 06:33:05 PM
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not yet officially rejected any application for a bitcoin spot ETF, but has requested that the application be reformulated. But at the same time SEC has not approved any application yet.

Therefore, it is possible that the fluctuation will continue with every upward or downward movement due to the introduction of huge financial institutions at a close time. Most likely, there will not be a strong rise in the current period, because even in the event of obtaining approvals, the market situation does not allow this at the present time.

I expect that we are in an uptrend, and even if applications are rejected, I don't expect us to go back to 25k$ levels.
I agree that the SEC can have both good and bad effects on asset price movements, but in the short term I think they just make a lot of investors and market participants worry with some decisions. I'm starting to find that the current market conditions are only going sideways in 1-4 weeks or at least during July, but the fluctuating movement is still there.

In my opinion, bitcoin may struggle to break through the $32k resistance if it doesn't get a lot of investor support. If this sideway persists, then a correction will usually follow, but not to go lower than $29k. I expect $29k to be strong support during consolidation, so I hope there isn't much panic this month.

Right now there's no chance that Saudi Pro League would be as competitive as any of the top leagues in Europe. Quite rightly they are alluring players from Europe, but most of them are either old and past their peak, or they aren't just good enough players, mind you that the Saudi Pro league is yet to allure a world class player that is in his prime.

Having said that, remember that what the Saudi's are trying to do right now is somewhat similar to what the Chinese Super league did a couple of years ago, but we all saw how it ended, i wouldn't rule it out to end the same way for the Saudi's.
I agree with your assumptions, but if they never try then surely the Arab Pro League will remain stagnant or maybe drop lower than other countries' leagues. The scenario is the same, of course China and Saudi are trying to improve both in terms of business and increasing the quality of competition, but the result depends on management and how the team there adjusts.

Without a large income, this step will stop because no investor wants to continue to lose money every year. I can't say anything about the future of the Arab Pro League, but so far they have been brave enough to tell the world they want to develop.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 02, 2023, 04:51:31 PM
Arsenal will appear with a different face and will appear to be stronger in the upcoming 2023/2024 season. Yesterday in the 2022/2023 season, Arsenal looked attractive from the start to almost the end of the Premier League competition. They were able to dominate the top of the standings before being painfully cornered by Manchester City. Arsenal are even more determined to improve. Moreover, this season they will play in the Champions League as well. Arsenal have also targeted a number of players, including Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber. They need improvement on a number of fronts so they can compete for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
Things are not that easy for Arsenal. I know Arsenal had impressive form last season but they could change next season in one way or another. Every team playing in the Premier League wants to win and wants to collect a lot of points until the end of the season. So that is why Arsenal will not run alone on the standings.

Even though Arsenal are known to have signed several new players, I am not entirely sure they can compete great in the Champions League. It's not easy to progress from one stage to another in the Champions League although it looks like Arsenal deserve to be among the favorites for next season. Remember there are many teams who want the title, some teams are experienced teams and also won the title in the previous season, so Arsenal's journey to the Champions League next season will not be easy.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 02, 2023, 04:14:21 PM
For Kvaratskhelia last season is his debut in Serie A and Napoli but it doesn't take long to adapt with the team and Spaletti has successfully to optimizing his skill and gradually Kvaratskhelia has became an important player to Napoli and help this team to get the scudetto and some of big teams has been notice his talent and one of them is Real Madrid so they attempts to buy Kvaratskhelia from Napoli but indeed Kvaratskhelia himself has been rejected that offers and Kvaratskhelia said he want to staying much longer with this team and as a young player i think Napoli has made right decision because they give long duration contract to Kvaratskhelia even Napoli president considering to give more duration into his contract because they want to protect this player from leaving this summer
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is Georgia's best striker who currently plays for Napoli. The statistics were very good last season as Kvaratskhelia managed to score 14 goals and 10 assists in Napoli's 33 matches in all competitions. In Serie A, Kvaratskhelia's statistics have been very satisfactory as Napoli's latest signing, that is because he contributed to the creation of 22 goals in 34 match for Napoli last season.

His contract expires on June 30 2027, that's still long enough for Napoli not to worry about losing him. On the other hand, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia still intends to play for Napoli next season, so even if Real Madrid or some other European team wants him then of course he will try to refuse. But Napoli might sell him when they get a lucrative offer in the next few seasons.

1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 01, 2023, 09:45:21 PM
I agree with you about your comparison between Zidane and Guardiola. Zidane has an aura and players respect him more for his achievements as a player himself than as a coach. I know that he won the Champions League three times, but a lot of coincidences have led to that winning streak as well. It wasn't because Real Madrid dominated the Champions League throughout the knockout stages. It was in quite some games the case that they were the team with a little bit more luck than the others. Taking home three titles just like that will probably not happen again anytime soon. Guardiola is a real coach. Nobody talks about him as a player anymore whereas when I remember the name Zidane, I instantly think about him as a genius player, not as the coach who won the title three times.
I think it's because Real Madrid are in a good era, especially in terms of squad depth. Zidane managed to win 3 consecutive Champions League titles because at that time Real Madrid had great players, but he was responsible for the strategy implemented.

No coincidence, but some consider us lucky. Basically there is a lot of effort that Madrid have put in beating opponents and winning titles, but people have taken another route in judging.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 01, 2023, 09:28:52 PM
Recently i read a lot about Ancelotti at Real Madrid where he seems to have more hopes of staying until the end of his contract. Ancelotti is a great coach and nothing makes him want to leave Real Madrid sooner before the end of his contract. But something else is coming in this transfer window where the Brazilian national team will try to tempt Ancelotti to leave Real Madrid this season. But the offer may not be rejected by Ancelotti, and also not ignored by Ancelotti. But most likely Ancelotti will provide conditions in which he will train the Brazilian national team after his contract with Real Madrid ends next season.

Apart from that Real madrid are building a stronger squad for next season but I see that Ancelotti is expecting a lot of signings in this transfer window but that doesn't seem to be happening after Perez confirmed that Joselu was the last signing made by Real Madrid in the window transfers this season.
Ancelotti has made it clear several times that he wants to honor the remainder of his contract with Real Madrid. I'm sure he'll stay for at least the rest of his contract, but probably won't renew after it expires. Ancelotti is in demand by several clubs, even by the national team, but he has not thought anything about his future because he wants to focus on Real Madrid.

Perez is a bit crazy in my opinion, I mean he was overly optimistic that Real Madrid didn't need a replacement for Benzema so he stated that. If Real Madrid fail to find a replacement for Benzema then I really can't expect them to win the title next season. Barcelona is much better because of Lewandowski, while Madrid is very doubtful even though we have Rodrygo and Vinicius.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 01, 2023, 07:34:06 PM
Mbappe is currently 24 years old, he is still young. doesn't mean, young age doesn't have experience. who doesn't know Mbappe, he has broken the record for winning the world cup trophy at a young age. and we agree, that Mbappe is a great player. the problem is, until now Mbappe is a PSG player. I haven't even heard of official news coming from PSG, if Mbappe will move to Madrid in this summer's transfer market.

We remember very well that previously the president of Madrid said that after buying Joselu they would not look for another striker. "although" actually Madrid really want to bring in the services of this PSG striker. what is certain, this drama will continue if Mbappe is not willing to renew his contract with PSG. there is no other choice, other than PSG releasing it on the sale list. well, Madrid has the opportunity to sign him, unfortunately not at a very fantastic price. ideally, the two will find a middle ground to reach an agreement. even then, if the scenario like I said happened. anyway, let's see what happens. whether Mbappe will leave, even though he has stated that he will stay with PSG until his contract expires. or, Madrid will take him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
If Real Madrid really wants Mbappe, then they should be able to have a good scenario as an option. I can give an example like paying PSG in installments in 3-4 seasons, that makes much more sense than expecting Mbappe to be brought in without spending a penny.

So far Mbappe has been the answer to Real Madrid's main striker who left Benzema. I can't expect Vinicius, Joselu and Rodygo to make us strong in the Champions League without a great striker, of course because I'm sure they won't make Real Madrid look like a scary team. Real Madrid will likely fail without a quality striker, they are a different team next season.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 01, 2023, 07:01:03 PM
Its seems diffiuclt under Gltazer era Manchester United has limited budget for signing new players, I think Manchester United manager Erik Tan Hag have smart thing how to manage small budget for getting which potential player. Currently, Manchester United success sign Mason Mount from Chelsea with transfer fee above 60 million euro and has chance for Tan Hag get two or three new player later depend with limited budget allocate by Glatzer.

Manchester United has huge ambition for signing Harry Lane but depend on Glatzer want spent above 100 million euro for transfer fees or United have looking new center forward with lower fees transfer from Harry Kane.
A player of the same quality as Kane will not be released for under 100 million, but it may cost more. I know Kane scores too high for his age, but that's Tottenham's way of keeping Kane from going anywhere. Tottenham still really need Kane as their main striker next season, but that is not very good for Kane's achievements at the team level.

Kane is a great striker, but he hasn't won anything with Tottenham even though he is a striker who can score dozens of goals every season. So Kane needs to be able to make decisions about his future, meaning he has to force a move in order for his title ambitions to rialize.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 01, 2023, 06:32:37 PM
If you ask me I would say ten Haag would start Mount slowly into the matches and then perhaps as a winger later on as matches go by. I don't think that it will be two CAM's as it would really bring back United to their old form and has to cover a lot of ground in opponent counter-attacks. It would be really risky. Two DM's is fine as it is in my opinion.
Ten Hag can use two defensive midfielders in a game, but only if he feels the opposing team can dominate the midfield to build up the attack. He could apply that idea to the derby against Manchester City but if the opponent is a different team then I think one defensive midfielder is enough.

Playing two defensive midfielders is a defensive style, sometimes not very good, especially when you are a few goals behind your opponent. Such a strategy is good only if the defensive midfielder can play in two different positions and has good flexibility in adjustments.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 30, 2023, 09:03:46 PM
Not only Chelsea, Manchester United should also be considered. Manchester United is a team that has been pretty solid under Ten Hag, so you shouldn't ignore them either. I also know Chelsea are looking for a way to be in better shape, but Pochettino needs big time and support.

Chelsea could still fail if Pochettino's strategy and plans don't pan out in the first season, but they are a team looking to move forward. Apart from that, Liverpool will also try to show their class and Arsenal also look very dangerous.
That's a good consideration from Man United, judging from what Erik Ten Hag has done, Man United is indeed much more solid and now they are bringing in several players, currently they are also eyeing Inter Milan goalkeeper, Onana.

Liverpool recently brought in Szoboszlai from Leipzig, of course Liverpool is improving their squad, they will improve from this season.

Chelsea, we'll see how it goes after throwing a lot of players away, Pochettino always has a plan he wants, I think it's a matter of time.

Arsenal have also improved in terms of squad, the main thing is that in August this league will be more competitive and have tough competition from many clubs.
All the teams you mentioned above deserve to be called candidates in the race for the Premier League title next season. My biggest doubt at the moment is Chelsea, but that might just be on my side. Meanwhile, Manchester United I always expected to do better season after season, but so far they have found the right way to get back there.

The favorite in the Premier League is still Manchester City, yes, but I don't expect him to dominate the Premier League every season. It's not good to see Manchester City win the title in 4 consecutive seasons, and Manchester United should be able to break that chain next season.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 30, 2023, 08:33:50 PM
The first mistake was not looking for a striker for options when Benzema couldn't play this season indirectly also made Madrid's condition a little weaker because we know Benzema is one of the players who is always the backbone, especially when dealing with goals because he is the main target but this season, he actually had a lot of problems with his body and it couldn't be denied that it was very annoying, which was unfortunate because Madrid didn't look for striker options in transfers, in fact this backfired for them.
Now Benzema is not there but I still don't see who will replace him as a pedestal whether it will only be given to Joselu and Brahim or maybe someone else who is still not available at the moment.
They are still very great and for the midfield and wings I don't doubt the abilities of Modric, Kroos, Valverde, Rodrygo or Vini but indeed when there is no targetman who fits the same vision as Benzema before then this will still be a problem for Madrid this season.
I'm also worried about that so far, obviously because Benzema was an important player for Real Madrid from 2014 to 2023. The impact of Benzema's absence on the pitch was obvious last season, we know Real Madrid struggled to win games because of difficulty scoring goals.

Then from that, last season Real Madrid had Asensio who could help Real Madrid break the deadlock every now and then. But Asensio has now also left Real Madrid. Real Madrid's foundation for next season will be Rodrygo and Vinicius, but if one of the two has to out from team due to injury, then Real Madrid will have to face big problems.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 30, 2023, 07:57:37 PM
Guardiola is a master in rotating players and his strategies and tactics makes it even easier to do so. My eyes are on Chelsea next season, they are one of the teams to look out for. With Pochettino taking as manager, I would want to see how well he can utilize the players at his disposal and what tactics and formations he will be working with to get the results. I really hope they will not repeat the poor form of the just concluded season.

1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: June 30, 2023, 09:17:43 AM
Paying taxes is a obligation, so when you cheat with everything so you don't pay taxes, of course you run away from your responsibility even though we know the government is too greedy in managing its finances. It is not justified to run away from your responsibility to pay taxes because the tax revenue received by the government should be distributed to many other things that are in need.

In my country, I pay taxes every day indirectly to the government. Everything I buy is taxed, and I have no idea how much tax I pay the government each year. Even I have to pay taxes from trading crypto assets, regardless of whether I lose due to price volatility or profit.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 30, 2023, 08:16:54 AM
I'm not sure what career you're referring to, but if you mean investing and trading then it shouldn't be a career.
Career is a job carried out by someone who occupies a certain position both in industry and in other types of work formally. Meanwhile, investors and traders are those who invest in certain assets which is their way of making money with money without having to be a job called a career.

Women can also be like most men in the crypto industry, I mean they can also make money from this industry. If a woman is smart enough and understands certain technical or expertise in the crypto industry, then they can make a career here with her expertise. Meanwhile, if they have a budget and have expertise in trading and investing, then of course they can make profit.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 29, 2023, 07:20:26 PM
They didn't really do anything that's a huge deal, it was just something quite simple and they sold assets and that's how they spent the money and because they didn't really change much on the spending part and they kept on spending a lot by selling assets instead of trying to lower their costs, it resulted with them getting the title of course but also not have any less expense, sure getting the title means a bit of income but not a lot so it wasn't really a huge deal at all.

I believe that as long as they keep having this huge expense, they are not going to end up being any better. They need to sell some players and make some money and pay the debt, that's a must and without that they are not going anywhere. If they can do that, they can actually do better.
Barcelona's overall balance last season was €-118.50m, so of course it's a bit of a dismal run on the financial side. But in any case, Barcelona seems to have struggled to fix its financial problems even though they have so far failed to fix them.

Barcelona only had 22 players in their squad last season, but after Busquets and Alba left, Barcelona only have 20 players. Therefore, Barcelona brought in Ilkay Gundogan, which brought the total squad to 21 players, but if there are several players who come because the loan period is up, then of course the number of squad could be bigger.

Even though Barcelona has had financial problems so far, Barcelona is still a team that has a high market value compared to other La Liga teams. Barcelona is second in the ranking, while Real Madrid is first. After all, Barcelona also tends to have more local players than foreign players, it can also contribute to lowering their salaries.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 29, 2023, 06:51:59 PM
I am not going to say Kovacic is a "bad" player obviously but he is not the superstar they were looking for. People do not realize how teams are evolving these days, look at Real Madrid, they have a team that is getting much more expensive by the day and they are looking for other superstars as well. When Madrid is discussing about Jude and Mbappe, we turn around and see City getting Kovacic.

Don't get me wrong, like I said at the start, Kovacic is alright and there is nothing wrong with him, but I was looking for someone who was a bit younger (25 or less) and potentially worth 100+ Million, like maybe Musiala, that would have been the perfect deal for them. This just feels like it lacks the hype it should be creating, he is replacing the captain after all.
I agree that Ilkay Gundogan and Mateo Kovacic are not up to par. Mateo Kovacic might be good to fill the void in Ilkay Gundogan's position, but his quality in attack is not exactly the same. You are also right, Manchester City should have bought star players who really have proven quality such as Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala, Declan Rice, and several other star players, but Manchester City have not managed to get one of them.

Mateo Kovacic isn't bad, of course but Manchester City should be concerned with players they can use over the long term instead of just a few seasons. Mateo Kovacic is 29 years old, he's still going strong but he doesn't seem to be contributing to the goals and assists stats of the teams he's played for.

In 2016, when I first heard about Bitcoin.

When I started reading and researching about bitcoin and its technology
In 2016, there was less noises from altcoins and altcoin forums like now. If you did your research with Internet and search engines, Bitcointalk forum would appear at top of Google Search.

It is myth if you searched on Internet and did not see Bitcointalk in the list.

You could find that site https://bitcoin.org/en/ and get the link to Bitcointalk at https://bitcoin.org/en/community

You're right, but some people might be too lazy to do some quick searches. But it's possible that the OP wasn't too interested in the discussion about bitcoin because he seemed so focused on his investment plan. After all, not everyone who invests in bitcoin uses the bitcointalk discussion forum, but they can discuss elsewhere online too.

We know bitcointalk isn't the only discussion forum about bitcoin, so it's still plausible that some of them didn't discover this forum in the early days. Unless they recommended another user here after some time.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price hitting 30k twice this year. on: June 28, 2023, 09:09:11 PM
After the spontaneous increase in the price of bitcoin some days back, I was expecting a price increase till the $35K-$40K level but it just stopped abruptly and might have reached its resistant level, if that’s the case, we won’t see any further significant rise in the price in the soonest. If the price can maintain this price level till the end of the month to mid next month, we might see it reaching the $40K price level when there’s any uptrend in the price coming after that period.
However I agree $40k is still very much achievable, but not in June but in July or so. Given that the market is currently trending sideways between $29k - $31k, then maybe $40k won't be hit too soon. There should be some corrections gracing the road, but don't think of them as thorns but rather as good support for hoping for a run higher.

We all hoped for a bullrun, but at least don't ignore the correction which you can also use for accumulation. At the moment $29k is support which has been tested a few times since the price broke $31k, but if it is strong through mid-July then about $40k could be reached.

Yes, you are right. Kovacic is about to become their new signing officially. He would fit the team really great after Gundogan's arrival. He can make a solid contribution to the midfield and I still wonder why Chelsea let him go in the first place. Kovacic is still 29 years old and he can play at least for a couple of years for Manchester City.
Mateo Kovacic is the ideal midfielder to replace Ilkay Gondogan for Manchester City. I agree on that, however Manchester City still need to consider a younger midfielder than Mateo Kovacic as a long-term project. It may not matter if they fail to get him in the near future, but Manchester City must do so in the middle of the season after Pep Guardiola evaluated the quality of his team.

Aside from that I didn't know De Bruyne was going to be the new captain. I think he is a great choice for this title. He has been a part of the team since the 2015/16 season and he has really been like a leader so far.
I think Kevin De Bruyne is suitable and worthy of being the captain of Manchester City next season. He is an influential player and of course Pep Guardiola would appoint him over any other player. In several matches, De Bruyne was the captain, especially when Ilkay Gundogan did not start in Manchester City's line-up.
