11722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: January 20, 2016, 11:26:08 AM
Dollar is accepted everywhere and many people in the world hold dollar that's why i never think bitcoin can replace dollar in the future.

Bitcoin is both money and investment. US dollar is just money/currency. So Bitcoin is superior to the USD. It will replace USD as reserve currency.

Everything you said is acceptable except one that you said as replacing the USD and taking position as reserve currency. USD dollar has a long back history by which attained this level. But bitcoin evolved only years back which is not that easy to take over USD's place
11723  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: January 20, 2016, 11:12:50 AM
I do. My experience with real money is that the price is really fixed and the goods is increasing. Bitcoin has a good system that is reliable and dependable base on how a bitcoiner use it.

Yeah real money is just different that bitcoin.
I think bitcoin is really good if you want to save some money.

With bitcoin your money can grow 120% and that is actually good.

It is worthful who don't spend much but save a lot. Through Bitcoin as you indicated 120% of profit can be got in a shortspan if you get attached to it.

Does anyone know a reliable Bitcoin debit card?

btc credit card is more, but less hear about debit  Roll Eyes

I have heard of the bitcoin card. I have never used to it. I think that has the same features as a credit card which can be used for only few stores.
11726  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: January 20, 2016, 10:48:23 AM
Bitcoin is worth to me because i can pay my college with bitcoin and i can pay my electric bill and internet bill. and i can buy food and things for my daily life with bitcoin.
nice.. its your school accept bitcoin for payment ?  Undecided
i guess you convert first, your bitcoin to fiat money to pay your college right ?

you still need the fiat money

I doubt he meant directly paying with bitcoin.
Even though if he is paying with bitcoin indirectly, it's still technically paying with bitcoin
Even if he does convert it.

Bitcoin is much worth for me. It has acted as a backup for me during times of financial speculations during various time periods.
11727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 1BTC can eventually be worth $11M on: January 20, 2016, 10:43:23 AM
15 million coins in circulation is a very low volume. if you hold at least 1 BTC you may have a nice surprise sooner or later.

I predict any value between $5,000 and $50,000 in the following 3-10 years.

I think the prediction is quite possible. It also depends if bitcoin can survive the next few crisis like the one we just experienced.

I don't think that it will happen because 11M$ which is very very high when we consider the current value which is just 380$

All of this would need time. Bitcoin needs time to grow.
I think it's too soon to actually speculate on this since not all the coins are mined yet.
Even though I do believe bitcoin has the potential to grow like that, we won't be here to witness this.

As you said there are possibilities but we can't witness it taking place. It may take generations
11728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel pity for bitcoin on: January 20, 2016, 10:39:13 AM
I don't really understand this mass hysteria.
Only what come to my mind, someone gonna monetize on all this insecurity and fear..
learn from history.
Your concern is acceptable. There is nothing to feel pity for it, as it has experienced various crisis from its early days of emerging as a cryptcurrency

11730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: January 20, 2016, 10:29:10 AM
There is really no way to earn Bitcoin fast other than gambling. Other than that you will earn Bitcoin but not fast.
nope I thought to be rich there are many ways, there are many paths to roma: D
Also there are many ways to earn many bitcoin with a fast time, not just gambling.

simple course of trade, you can obtain a profit of more than 200% in trade
What you have said is acceptable but the profit is not achievable in a short term being a trader. One who is earning 200% profit does a lot many transaction and will have a lot experience, So it will take time to earn bitcoins even though you do trade.

I agree there are possibilities because it know well about the bitcoin market as it is a china based firm. If they enter then it is possibly they might be the leaders in bitcoin trade.
11732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: January 20, 2016, 10:20:35 AM
You don't need to wait for every single store to accept bitcoin.
Get Bitcoin debit card (there are few available) that works for you.

These cards auto-convert your bitcoin balance to dollars during purchase, so store does not even need to know anything about bitcoin.
I used shift card which uses very fair rate (middle between Coinbase bid/ask spread at the time of purchase) and no extra fees, besides cash withdrawals.

Thats a good idea to have a bitcoin card which transfer amount in terms of dollar to the shop. I have used the amount earned from bitcoin only after converting my bitcoin to real money as my place was not much developed to the technological growth of bitcoin.
11733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: January 20, 2016, 10:15:46 AM
I also use 2 web wallets nowadays . Because incase if blockchains runs off with error or some issue then i can still do transactions over my other wallet
You are right for having a backup. Everyone uses various wallets according to their convenience with user interface, transaction and for some other related security purposes
11734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: beginners be very carefull on: January 19, 2016, 04:43:55 PM
Thanks for mentioning this. I was thinking of buying some cloud mining contracts tomorrow after getting hold of some Bitcoins but this seems a pretty loss buddy Undecided

-Dean

The difficulty is rising too fast, it is difficult to profit from mining. The Ponzi scheme mining pool will win.
The recent crisis has led to such a situation in which the base of the technology mainly miners has received most of the effects developed in the drastic fall of the bitcoin value
11735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to spend Bitcoin? Newbie's opinion. on: January 19, 2016, 04:36:04 PM
i think investment is a better option for newbie .
You should not go for investment just after joining the forum. You need to earn with the bitcoins on short investments, signature campaigns, trade and then you can invest on bitcoin which would be worth for a Newbie.
11736  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: January 19, 2016, 04:29:51 PM
Trump claims the United States is no longer a rich country, because rich countries don’t borrow money. In the interview, Trump claimed that the US is becoming a third world nation forced to borrow money and issue debt. Trump also suggested an answer to the question “When will the us dollar collapse?”, saying when US debt hits the $21 to $22 trillion mark, things will get much, much worse.

Oh? trump said this? Well he is damn right. And i think the money borrowed is not much felt by some citizens. I don't know but that what I read in an article. Forgot the source.
Such debate points truly indicate the falling, but that don't have much impact over the countrymen, this gets highlighted due to the present scenario of US elections.
11737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Terrorists use Western Union, not Bitcoin on: January 19, 2016, 04:21:38 PM
and terror yesterday in Jakarta also using western union , not bitcoin.
how you know it?any website or article tell about that?i think they use cash money, but anyway its not important to know what they use for terrorist funds.
I don't think that terrorists are using western union. Mostly western union is used for hawala money transactions.
11738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 19, 2016, 01:57:27 PM
According to Wikipedia, "Money is any item or verifiable record that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a particular country or socio-economic context, or is easily converted to such a form."

So I don't know what you mean by "real money." But since you can use Bitcoins to perform payments for goods and services and repayment of debts, I would consider it "real money."

But the purpose of this thread is to share the present status of bitcoin ecosystem in your county/city which allows you to use bitcoin as real money or not.

Secondly some bitcoiners, view bitcoins as investment and saving bitcoins even they are having many opportunities to use bitcoin as real money.

Yes, bitcoin can be a real money or an investment based on your view, amount of holding bitcoins and bitcoin payment adoption in your city.
Bitcoin is a real money to my eyes, because one bitcoin has some value that equals with the local currencies. Also used as if we use local currencies in few markets.
11739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: January 19, 2016, 01:50:45 PM
With articles like this one from today
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/innovations/wp/2016/01/19/r-i-p-bitcoin-its-time-to-move-on/

even less people will be potentially interested in using bitcoin.
Thats not fair. Now only more people are getting into it. The recent drastic fluctuations might have stopped a few number of users.
11740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 19, 2016, 01:48:09 PM
Halving or not I am still holding my coins. There is no immediate need for me to encash my bitcoins so it will stay in my wallet. Plus, I believe with the current progress in adoptation of bitcoin and with some media coverage, it is bound for a great price increase. Halving is just one of the factors for price increase.

If you're rich enough not to need to cash out bitcoins in any near future, then bitcoins will make you more richer. Saving bitcoin is the simplest way of becoming rich.

You dont really need to be rich to get that kind of thing. Plus if you have a simple job and can pay for your daily needs. Bitcoin will be your side money in case you need it. If not, then it can stay in the wallet and maybe someday it will rise and you get more.

That's awesome buddy. This is how everyone needs to be. Don't get much addicted to it. It has to be done as a investment that can yield you great value when you are in need.
