11741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com? on: January 19, 2016, 01:44:00 PM
You just need to buy BTC before buying the product. Send BTC with 20% discount and you are done. Didnt spend any BTC that you have on wallet and still got the disccount.
Discount is just like magic. They say the actual and the discounted. But what you pay is the market price in which the profit of particular product is included. Don't go behind discounts.
11742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 18, 2016, 05:44:11 PM
I see bitcoin as any other currency that I use on a daily basis

I like to have bitcoin as an alternative so yes bitcoin is just as real to me.
Yes bitcoin can be considered as a alternative currency. It has got the same value as a local currencies and use of the bitcoin is increasing simultaneously over all sectors.
11743  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 18, 2016, 03:41:55 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
save in bank is low risk but the gain is low too, in real estate is long term invest, maybe u can invest it online if u wanna high gain in short time but its high risk.

in the long term the only possible high gain relatively low risk is bitcoin, there is really not anything else, with the same good risk/reward ratio
Investing money is better than saving it. Saving money gives you a small interest and its riskless. Investing money is worth and gives earning but times due to market fluctuation you will be in risk
11744  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 18, 2016, 03:27:53 PM
Nowadays i use the Bitcoin wallet a lot more than using the bank account, of course i have both but as my best deals using the online marketplaces i prefer to use wallet instead of using fiat
On investment basis bitcoin gives much yield when safegaurded with the help of wallet. The same if we place cash in an accout we can't get much interest. If we invest gold(safegaurding locker). We are supposed to pay charge to the bank.
11745  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2016, 06:22:16 AM
I think 2016 can very well be the year of bitcoins at the same time can be horrible too, if price drops too much, its a horror ... while if price rise its the year of BTC for most of us.

I think the price will increase especially as it's a Halving's year, so the community and many crypto followers expect that it's the opportunity that the price get up and it's then a chance to hold some coins
Yes you say now been proven.
Bitcoin prices are now rising. Although sometimes decreased but that does not mean the increase in the regular

They were down because of 2 recent sad incidents, Cryptsy allegedly getting hacked and coins stolen and Mike releasing his statement about him leaving. Some people thought it would cause the price to plummet and it did to some extent but it was also due to panic sell. It should hopefully hold steady and rise gently to where it was soon.
Yes The problem should be solved quickly by the bitcoin order according to the exchange rate is not precipitous.
Bitcoin must continue to evolve and must be addressed in order to progress. Things like that can harm the bitcoin and users.
This might be a year of bitcoin but now the horrible situation of the year is going on. Soon can expect some thing good for the users.
11746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to store Bitcoins safety for a few years? on: January 18, 2016, 06:10:12 AM
If you don't want to spend money on hardware, paper wallet is good choice.
Paper wallet is good. but its an easy disposable thing but hardware wallets is not like that. The better choice is to have backup data in two or three forms.
11747  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: January 18, 2016, 05:59:44 AM
Don't get frustrated to see price under 400 which is only temporary because 400 seems to be new stable buttom for now. If you see price near 400 just buy without thinking much.

I don't think we are going to see prices below $400 levels. Because the bitcoin market is looking so strong and stable around $425 levels. The new money flowing is waiting for new year. So expect bigger prices in the first week of 2016.

But some days ago bitcoin has fallen the price until 340$ it's so awful and for now bitcoin around 389$
As the markets were also down I don't think that we will see a price above 400$ within a short term.
11748  Economy / Speculation / Re: price going back up? on: January 18, 2016, 05:54:32 AM
I really hope that it keeps going up. I don't want it to stop at $380 and that is pretty much what has happened. Not good.
Everyone hoping for it but the real fact is the value is not increasing, its just getting stabilized within the range of 360-380
11749  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Say goodbye to decentralization on: January 18, 2016, 05:46:16 AM
wow great ..but i think it remain as if no any big bank interfere to the working plan .
Many banks are getting involved in this technology indirectly for their profit. Its just because bitcoin is decentralized tech.
11750  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Say goodbye to decentralization on: January 18, 2016, 05:43:14 AM
it looks like profits centralize very fast...
Yeah of-course if bitcoin is centralized the profit will be high and the miners are much benefitted
11751  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 17, 2016, 08:26:40 PM
Technologically yes, I still believe. As an investment vehicle it's also interesting. As something what will bring us freedom and something what will became a new "reserve currency" no, I no longer believe in that. It's just yet another speculative stuff.
It won't get featured as a reserve currency but over the years we can use these bitcoins all over the world for various business or related purpose as beneficiaries are increasing randomly
11752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 17, 2016, 08:17:36 PM
Yes I will  always trust in Bitcoin.
I try to get as much Bitcoins.
Waiting for a higher price after halving.
Why for you getting bitcoins and is there any special reason that you still believe in bitcoin?

The special reason for my belief on bitcoin must be the returns we can get from saving bitcoins. In past 25 years no other investments had given this much multiply of returns, in my experience.
You are good Mate. Keep going. It has a history of some 5-10 years but its growth and beneficiaries are very high compared to other crytcurrencies in the market. Continue exploring mate and earn the best possible.

11754  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 17, 2016, 07:52:11 PM
Bitcoin must be a currency, we should all learn to believe in.
Bitcoin gives freedom, and you won’t have to worry about anything, every transaction is made with very less fees, and also very fast.
When we have these type of many advantages, we must believe in bitcoin always.

Yeah of course, but it is impossible.. bitcoin is not compatible with the actual system (economic or political). So if we would like to see bitcoin as a currency, the current democratic governments should 'die'.
Though it is a technology of fiat money. I still believe in it. Yeah it is not compatible since it is not centralized. Now to we one who learned about bitcoin can consider it as a currency because it has value equal to local currencies
11755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: January 17, 2016, 12:54:51 PM
For me future about bitcoin is that with bitcoin I can hold it and wait for the increase maybe when I retire bitcoin will be worth 5000 dollars and that will be a good thing to happen when I am old.
yes true, bitcoin could as our investment in the future. I will feel calm when I have more than 5 BTC when I retire,
I think in the future bitcoin prices could be more than $5,000

5 bitcoin will be a lot of money in 30 years. It will be over $1m each if bitcoin is still there then.
You are right mate hold some 10 bitcoin which will be worth for a lifetime survival.
11756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What payment for selling BTC is safe and irreversible? on: January 17, 2016, 12:33:24 PM
we choose the reputational ppl to trade with and we will be safe no matter what methods we are using.
Cash in mail is definitely irreversible.
But the mail could be lost in the way.  Grin
Trading with reputation people is good, still we have come to contact in the name of business so we need to be secure to the most. So even in trading with reputation people using of escrow will increase transaction more secure.
11757  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War is a crime on: January 17, 2016, 12:29:02 PM
War, sometimes, is the tool to solve problem of population explosion, resource allocation, economic development, social contradictions and etc.

War is crime when everyone thinks of humanity and value of human life. War looks to be a business when a ruling power tries to conquer a particular community or locality.
11758  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War is a crime on: January 17, 2016, 12:07:49 PM
We are civilized humans not savages. Although we are civilized, we still fight wars like savages. War is essentially stealing. It's stealing because you are taking another's land, money, and resources while killing thousands of people in the process. It's immoral and unfair. The people who steal this way are not penalized for their wrongdoings instead they are treated as heroes.

If someone steals from someone else they get punished, if someone kills someone else they get punished. However if a group of individuals (country) plunders, murders and destroyes another group of individuals...they do not get punished. There is no authority to punish them.

The sad thing is, war has become somewhat like a game. We even have RULES for war  Cheesy this is total madness. It's like making rules for stealing, it does not make sense.

War itself should be illegal it is a crime like any other crime. The fact that we wage war over each other reflects the evil in the collective human psycy. We are civilized but we continue to act like savages. What is the use of technological, and societal development when we cannot even be good to each other.

What do you guys think?
Is war justified?

yes definitely war is a crime... only innocent people and soldier manipuleted by government and rich people dies at a war.. it is a completely devastation for them not riches or governments..
War is crime. innocent people and soldiers die with economy of country getting reduced. I can't understand why you indicated rich people in it.
11759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spread the Bitcoin on: January 17, 2016, 11:38:08 AM
i think spreading news among the paypal users and among those who uses other alternatives will be a much better idea as more active users will be using btc instaed of paypal and other alternatives
We should teach them why bitcoin is better than those stuff and how they can save much more time and get more profit

better we can spread about bitcoins in social networks like facebook and twitter. and we can spread the bitcoins to our friends and neighbours first. because many of the people not aware of it. we should make them understand what is it.

I promote the bitcoin to my friends. But they are not interested. Maybe it is not reported enough by main media.
What you do is good mate, but media is not required for give hype of this evolving technology.
11760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: January 17, 2016, 10:44:47 AM
I believe it, that price may be higher bitcoin within 3 months, such as now bitcoin prices dropped rapidly within two days, probably as well as price hikes

This is a joke.
We are so far away from this goal, it will not happen within 2 years perhaps.
I advice to consider this thread as a big joke, and not some investment advice.

The big joke is those who can't see this for what it is. Scare the little kids, and Bargain time for the adults.  Grin

http://bravenewcoin.com/price/price-index/

The same shit I keep on reading when Bitcoin was around $600. Keep on buying adult
Don't get hesitated man. It will grow gradually but it will take time. Not that people thinking within 24hrs or few days is funny. Gonna take year or too.
See the price nothing change and very stable to 360-390 its just a bitcoin nature that will go down and up just like year ago. If you really believe that the price will dump just keep it silently.
Not even touched 390. But its good to see than how it was going over the previous days
bitcoin start goes up slowly but sure, i see many people has buy a lot coin when price drop in around $350 i take a part too in that situation but i'm sell even price already up. just want and see price will up to $400 less than week
Most of the people who trusted bitcoin has bought a lot during the fall and now it has paid them the profit.
