1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with the most expensive fuel | Greece's case study on: May 22, 2022, 03:03:02 PM
Generally apart from Greece, I think the cost of fuel on a litre is increasing by the day which is further deeping inflation and the cost of living and maintenance of the home and paying of utility bill is proportionally growing. This is keeping hardship unabated. For countries that the government decide to pay a little higher wages, they may not feel the hard times badly like Denmark or Finland as reference point but the countries with lesser paid salaries, the poor are getting poorer. Overall I also think this inflation is the outcome of wars from golf war in 1990 over thirty years ago.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: How DCA Could Have Prevented Your from Losing More on: May 21, 2022, 05:23:06 PM
DCA is goot if you  are doing it in a bear market,

Yeah and that helps for larger accumulation.

I haven't heard of this strategy, I believe, but I fail to grasp how this is better than other things. It's kind of time diversification, but it still depends on a year when you do it. If it's a bull market that's going on for months, the price is growing, and you keep pouring a thousand after a thousand into Bitcoin. Then the price, say, starts going down, and you're still doing it. Why isn't it better to wait till the price is quite down (say, at least -30% from the ATH), and invest $10k then? It would mean buying more BTC than if a person buys when the price is high.

Like the above such kind of investment is profitable when you buy cheap and that is during the bear as we are witnessing in the market as for now. If you put money in a bullish season you of course get lesser quantity of bitcoin. I think is a better strategy for hodling bitcoin from the bear to bull, a longtime plan.
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback for a trading related mobile app on: May 21, 2022, 02:45:02 PM
That of the forex app will be also nice because it will compliment your coin push app and give your company a complete trading package through apps. I'm going to hope that the forex app would come up better. You could add more trading pairs in the app to make it rich and detail for users to visit.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: The truth about economy and crash on: May 21, 2022, 01:35:34 PM
no one can feel hunger in this day and age unless we live in the middle of a protracted conflict where money is meaningless.

What are you talking no one can feel hunger in this day ? There is hunger in the land because the economy of many countries have crashed. The last five years has seen more crash in the economy than you think, maybe you are feeding probably and your family is okay with you. The covid-19 pandemic is a good example of the troubles in the economy that has affected people economically and movement to search for daily bread through resistance of movement. This is a real serious situation that drain the finance of many household.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: How DCA Could Have Prevented Your from Losing More on: May 21, 2022, 10:19:10 AM
This is an accumulation investment that gradually builds your money but it is just like any other investment apart from real online trading. It also has its emotional disadvantage when there is a huge bear you might want to be tempted to invest when it is not your stipulated time to push in money, that is the emotion playing fast on your mind. It may also be liking to other businesses because even in physical business arrangement, your investment grows as you increase your capital. It is different from online trading anyway.
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback for a trading related mobile app on: May 21, 2022, 07:49:40 AM

1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Rate hikes against inflation but here is the thing war on: May 20, 2022, 04:56:29 PM

There would be not surplus profits in the world for the people who does not produce nothing only consume and spend.....if world is not ruled unjustice and corruption.
If we start living honest ways and everything real ....we would not have that kind of luxury and wealth so much.

Some how yes the worst hit countries in this rate hike and inflation is the countries that are majorly consumers. They have higher fallen GDP and little profit is consumed by feeding. Countries that are merely consumers have low income earners because they are majorly labourers and unskilled workers. These set are highly poor as nothing commercial and industrial in most of the towns and so they are home to inflation.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: How To Profit From MASSIVE Inflation on: May 20, 2022, 03:39:28 PM
The best thing we can do when we see a very high inflation is to buy food ingredients such as cooking oil, flour, soybeans, rice, wheat and so on, then hold at least 3 months so we have the opportunity for big profits, I have tried the technique and get profit about 25%.

This is really funny. If you buy those food stuffs with the reserve money you have and what will happen when it goes down or finish because it will. Are you going to stand there and get killed by the hunger you were trying to escape from ? The best for inflation is investment whether in agriculture, real estate or whatever investment including cryptocurrency to ensure you try to double your finance to be able to face the challenges of high cost of living that is the effect of inflation.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: Cooperative investing between small investors on: May 20, 2022, 02:23:00 PM
Combine business or partnership rarely survive even those that are physical because of insincerity among partners, it is short lived. What you are talking of is online partnership or combine business that is done online. This is very risky, you don't know the real mind of your partner who stays countries far from you. This is going to be difficult to execute when you have partner A, B, C etc staying miles away from one another. Don't think of such business online you can gather your capital for a sole business of your own where you can manage it and employ more hands that you will pay salary.
1190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: indicators on: May 20, 2022, 10:11:36 AM
Keep in mind these indicators are not 100% accurate. You will rarely find an indicator to is correct maybe 25% of the time.

The issues with these indicators is that price can keep going lower and lower putting you severely underwater before it starts to reverse. That’s why you need other indicators such as price action or sentiment to make your decisions.

If all you had to do was look at an indicator we all would be billionaires. It’s not that easy.

In this what is best of the indicator that will show you where the price is going before it gets there is the support and resistance lines. This show you the breakouts and the next spot that price is chasing. It is true that if we look and rely at just any kind of indicator, we are going to be failure because if it were that way every trader will keep making profit.
1191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: May 20, 2022, 06:49:51 AM
Trading can be done at anything but for hodlers, it is really time to acquire more coins. As for the hodling it is playing out like the last halving in 4/5 years ago, I think we have seen a bottom that is very close to turn things around. We have seen $40k broken and $35k too now we are in the area of $30k, all it needs is to have strong hands buying in again after taking there profit.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 19, 2022, 04:56:51 PM
If you are longing for where to drop your reserve money on in cryptocurrency. I suggest bitcoin to be a better investment. The price of bitcoin has dropped reasonable for someone to take a ride because after the bear the bull will come and buying now that the price has dropped half from the ATH, you can hodl for a long time if you have a longtime investment plan.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: indicators on: May 19, 2022, 02:53:37 PM
but how do i find one of these before it happens? i've been watching the same coin for 21hours and nothins happen yet.

A trader has to be patient and wait for the right signal to enter the market and by that you will be satisfied even if you lose the in that trade because you waited and got convinced it was the right time for you but if you are not patient you may jump in many times because of no direction. So waiting for the right time is a good trading skill and don't allow your emotion to always control you.

To BB you mentioned, it also have different time frame and you didn't mention the time you use. Bollinger band is an indicator that goes after the market so it is not reliable. Using RSI and MA that indicate overbought or oversold are still not certain for a reversal immediately but it only prepares you ahead that trend can change soon.
1194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [For newbies] Should you follow signals for trading? Newbies, have a look here! on: May 19, 2022, 01:52:26 PM
Quote
Should you use signals?

This is a tricky question.

I think it is safe to say that you don't use them.

What signal are you talking about? You main signal from paid group?

Except you mean not to patronize pay group and pay money to them because some are fake but signal itself is the way to understand how market can move and you can get signal by yourself with your indicators, chart, graph, support and resistance measurement, candlestick base on your strategy. All those are signal providers.

Meanwhile, are those words your personal efforts? Otherwise you have to provide link or source.
1195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: May 18, 2022, 02:17:26 PM

This is absolutely contradictory indecencies that both bearish market and bullish makes traders to be happy, specifically depending on when you  enter the market, when specific people is making profit from bear market or bear season is applicable to people who also make profit in bearish market, i will say it's vice versa .

Yeah as regarding trading it is two ways. You are trading for buy and another person is trading for sell so it is vice versa like you rightly said. We have some traders that their indicator is very good and milking out good signal and profit during the bear while others is good for bull. So whatever happens in the cryptocurrency market, some are losing and others are gaining. Like also the Luna bear, some sold before the bear trap.
1196  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: May 17, 2022, 03:33:14 PM
Your question is simply asking for two separate opinions because they are different kind of investment and therefore choices will be different. Someone may decide to invest on bitcoin rather than house especially newbies could be thinking on that or someone already having comfortable shelter. If you don't have a shelter covering you, you definitely want it and not bitcoin. Bitcoin is long time investment and would you stay under the rain and sun while waiting for two or three years more time to sell and probably get some profit ? Choosing for real estate can generate initial capital for comfortable bitcoin investment where you don't always get pissed off when price drop.
1197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 17, 2022, 01:53:17 PM
Chainlink and Ethereum made huge gains even before the bull run started late 2020. Chainlink especially went parabolic, but then crashed mid year. Early 2019 AAVE investors also did extremely well, 5000 % gains from what I hear. All this during the bear market. Gains that were comparable or even better to the bull run. So am I reading it wrong ? Let me know.

No altcoin excaped the bear back in 2018, 2019 including etheruem. It all depends on the time that the bear catch up with the coin. If bitcoin goes you expect the bear in general. This is the experience I have learnt so far.

The only thing I do know which I learn from the past mistake is never to hold any crypto when halving is already done, sell and secure your profit since mostly after halving the price dump just like what we see nowadays.

Looking at what is happening in the market now since the halving this seem to be the truth. It is a lesson that should be learnt that after the halving of bitcoin expect the bear correction. Back in last halving same thing happened when bitcoin price crashed from 20k to below 4k. This is playing out again and all coins crashing down.
1198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback for a trading related mobile app on: May 17, 2022, 12:07:38 PM
I tried searching something

This is what I think is the app. Providing the link directly may have given direction to what app you are talking about if it is not scam but base on this, there isn't much to talk about on the app performance and other details like failure and success rate in percentage. Every trader likes to make profit and to know the rates of performance will be of interest.
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: Taking loan during high inflation? on: May 15, 2022, 08:35:25 PM

Personally, I don't suggest doing this because using other people's money will put me under stress and this can have negative effects on my decisions. What do you think?

This is a usual believe and business advise comprising the dos and don'ts. Investing with someone's money is risky in cryptocurrency won't give you peace. To borrow for investment is preferred when you are doing physical business but all is about risk, a risk taken on that can be positive though but I better stay away from such risk as some risk are capable to give serious pressure.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: May 15, 2022, 05:03:02 PM

I am very bad in money management. I am an extremist, when I have money I spend like crazy and when I dont have I become miser.
I dont like this habit of mine and I am trying to live within my means - I hope I will learn in few months. May be a hard way though - haha

Having a life style of showing up and living big when is above your means of livelihood is not really the best, it is going to drain you beyond your expectations and leave you miserable. Now that you have identified the issue of not being able to keep saving you have to work yourself hard to start investing. The more you invest the more for you to be able to save money. You need to read some books on financial management and how to get help on your saving habit.
