1182  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to find inputs? Electrum 4.4.0.0 (Android) on: April 25, 2023, 08:09:26 PM
I can confirm that on electrum version 4.3.3 it is possible to view the outputs of a transaction on mobile (which i think is what you are referring to) with your own personal address marked in green among the entire number of outputs.
Transaction output is still there. I'm looking for checking transaction input. Both are different. I think you have misunderstood my post above.

You can always use blockchain explorer with Tor for now.
Yeah. But sometimes, it seems too much hassle to be honest. I was checking some of my old txs and trying to figure out the inputs as they were relevant for me but I couldn't. The only way to check is explorer now as I'm not on desktop + the seed key is generated for android only.
1183  Bitcoin / Electrum / How to find inputs? Electrum 4.4.0.0 (Android) on: April 25, 2023, 07:33:51 PM
Last week, I have updated my android phone and also all the applications. The current version of electrum on my phone is 4.4.0.0 as I can see through the app details.
If I can remember correctly(a bit confused too, am I mixing with electrum desktop?), with previous version, we could see the inputs and outputs of a transaction in our wallet but now, when I tried to check the inputs of a tx and I couldn't find. I have no other options but checking with explorer.

Payment has been sent- 81d52d44fa44c88ff7deb71ef27ac281abb0090cc2deac3ab0926034818d3b97

Extremely sorry for the delay in payment. I had a busy day, so I couldn't process the payment yesterday.
1186  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Flush.com Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary on: April 22, 2023, 03:39:15 AM
I do not mean to interfere here but i just assume maybe it skipped your thought while trying to attend or fix other pending matters that bothers your job here as a manager. It would be nice you update applicants of the vacant positions or ranks for appropriate application so as to avoid spamming of the thread. It will guide the applicants to follow the application rule.

Thank you.
Isn't it enough to mention in the title? It's clearly stated that only Hero/Legendary spot is there. Also, in the OP, there's no other slot mentioned. I think that's enough. If someone can't read that, let them waste their time and help me to find out potential spammer so I can put them on ignore. That will help me finding quality user next time.
1187  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Flush.com Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary on: April 22, 2023, 12:42:57 AM
Eid Mubarak to all.

Signature has been updated. Will send the payment shortly.
We have 2 open slot. Please apply. If you have applied already, please don't apply anymore.
1188  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning about the Novus Chain project/bounties on: April 21, 2023, 05:50:35 AM
** Did you get paid as a Bounty Manager to promote these bounties?
I doubt they have been paid. Even if they have been paid, the amount is too small for sure. No project would hire a newbie bounty manager to run their campaign here if they would spend good amount. I have managed only 3 bounty campaigns but got a lot of offer to manage bounty but they offered me very low price, which I had to deny and later found them, newbie campaign manager is launching their bounty.

If the matter is about escrowing the bounty rewards, actually 90%+ of bounty campaigns aren't escrowed. So you must ask the other bounty campaigns to escrow their reward, not only in this bounty.
Escrow should always be there but projects don't want to because they are not familiar about the forum environment. They fear manager or escrow will scam them and that's happened a lot of times.
1189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Address Poisoning Scams? on: April 20, 2023, 06:07:50 PM
I have a general practice to copy the address from wallet and reverify every alphabet of the address after pasting.
It hardly takes a minute but saves us our precious coins.
How do you do that, man? I have never been that patient to check all the alphabet from an address to make sure I'm not going to be scammed. Well, I usually check a few first and last characters, and most of the time, if the address is a used one, I check with the blockchain explorer to identify the address from the transaction history lol. That's far easy I think than checking every character manually.
What's the chance that a scammer can generate almost the same address through a vanity search? Maybe it's possible to have the same address for a few characters but is it possible to have a similar address of mine with a similarity of more than 20 characters for example?

I used bulksend of Bounty Portal for sending TenUp Bounty reward and it has been so easy for me. I wasn't required any technical knowledge to use their platform. I would recommend every bounty campaign manager use this platform. Irfan bro, you deserve a big thank. Wishing the best for the project.
1192  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet on: April 19, 2023, 03:44:59 PM
my question is should i uncheck or leave its native segwit box to receive old bitcoins?
It's up to you whether you want to generate segwit or legacy address type. Legacy addresses started with 1, native segwit with bc1, these are address type and can send/receive bitcoin from one another and vice versa.
Would recommend using segwit because with segwit, you will help the miner to allow some more txs into a block.

Would we really appreciate if someone was using AI to respond on the forum?

If what I read brings me value, yes, but I'm not worried about being dethroned by AIs.
AIs are a great help and innovation, there's no doubt. But in my opinion, what OP's BOT is offering is something a shitpost reply to the shit posters. I don't know how people would enjoy reading their reply. Well, personally I would simply put such bot on ignore list like few other mentioned but if you are going to enjoy reading them, feel free to read, enjoy and interact with them. You are appreciating something doesn't necessarily mean everyone has to appreciate that. People may have different opinion and expressing them doesn't make them negative. What negativity is bringing no one merited the post and mentality of the forum users. I don't see a reason to bring such issue.
1194  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Improvement Proposal on: April 19, 2023, 06:41:36 AM
It's already possible through transaction locktime. Well, locktime isn't something you exactly looking for but it should serve your purpose. Locktime defines a transaction to be broadcasted in a future date, time or after a certain block is mined.
You can learn more about it here- https://trezor.io/learn/a/locktime-in-trezor-suite-app

I had seen a thread here in the forum if I can remember correctly, let me find it.

Edit- I had created the thread. This thread has the similar purpose like you- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5287093.0

@সবাই
1196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What kind of Wallets are used by an Exchange? on: April 18, 2023, 02:16:34 PM
Exchanges use both hot and cold wallet as you said. They use cold wallet for storing large amounts. They receive the coins in hot wallet as form of deposit from different users and they send most of them to their cold wallet.

Cold wallet = wallets which are not connected online, they are offline wallet. When you need to use fund from cold wallet, you can sign transaction offline and then broadcast with a software online.

Hot wallet = Wallet which is always connected to online.

If you're using an exchange wallet, then know it that they have custody to your private keys, these keys are what gives you access to your bitcoin stored on the blockchain because they decrypt the encrypted codes to give you right to access you coins
There's nothing like encrypted or decrypted. I don't know what did you mean. Exchanges only give you an unique address assigned to your account and some digits (your deposited amount). That's it.
1197  Other / Meta / Re: The J.A.R.V.I.S AutoReply Protocol Initiative (JARPI) - Powered by ChatGPT on: April 18, 2023, 10:50:04 AM
Would we really appreciate if someone was using AI to respond on the forum? In my opinion, no. JARPI is going to do the exact thing some other people used here. The difference is JARPI is doing it as an experiment.
It's a place for discussion, interact one with another. I don't think it's going to serve the purpose of a forum. Also, have you asked admin whether you can use it or not? I haven't seen any exact rule on AI written post but I think it will be forbidden when the unofficial rules of official bitcointalk forum will be re-written.
1198  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Kucoin Futures - Trade Easier, Profit More! on: April 18, 2023, 10:38:06 AM
I have been thinking of sharing this for a long time but was confused whether sharing it with you will get anything good or not.
There's an official telegram group- Kucoin Bangladesh.
I was surprised to see they were using automated translator to post the update despite the fact that they have moderators from Bangladesh. I haven't responded there since it may hurt them. You can check out the updates in Bengali and they are weird to read because of automated translation.
1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: LeeBet.io | $100.000 Grand Opening Event | Crypto i-Gaming on: April 18, 2023, 10:21:42 AM
Your announcement topic is linked to the imgbb code which should be replaced by your website link. Fix that. I was just trying to check the site through clicking the image and realized you used the exact url/code you had from imgbb.

It should be-
Code:
[url=yoursitelink][img]https://i.ibb.co/WfQMQRQ/Grand-Opening-event.png[/img][/url]
Also, images seem broken. Feel free to reach out me to get these fixed. I can help you fixing all these and have an organized topic.

1200  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: weird request of a 2fa on: April 18, 2023, 04:03:02 AM
I moved my funds from one wallet of mine to another wallet of mine, this one created a long time ago and with an older version of electrum. the problem is that when I try to send funds from this old wallet it asks me for a second password which should be generated by google authenticator, ...
Your target wallet must have been created with a rather old version of electrum, if at all it was a genuine one. I never heard of it that Electrum used 2FA-codes from Google Authenticator. That is one strange point.
Electrum has the option to create 2FA wallet service provided by TrustedCoin, implemented in 2015 if I can remember correctly. It requires 2FA codes from google authenticator, though it's a 2 of 3 multisig wallet. My bad if I didn't get your point. I haven't used 2FA wallet but have seen this when created electrum.

Quote
What was the reason to move your funds in such a risky move? I don't get it.
Bad move but maybe OP thought the wallet was safe. Maybe he has generated the seed in a safe and secured way.
