The following point on the list is unlikely, unless executed by US themselves as part of a false flag:

Quote
The intention is to provoke the Russians into using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine. After that, the US will launch tactical nuclear weapons against the Russian forces from their submarines in the Black Sea.

Oh, and FSB is busy uprooting the so-called "Crimean Gambit" and another 15 US subversion operations aimed against Crimea:

This case had a happy end
http://www.maminka.cz/clanek/jana-v-norsku-mi-malem-sebrali-helenku

Jana is a young Czech  woman, she has met a bloke from Norway in Prague, she has married him and moved to Norway. A daughter was born and her family was visiting. The went for a walk with the pram. it was cold, they entered a café  and ordered a grog (she was not breastfeeding any more). The waitress look funny, after some time she had a discussion with an another customer. They called somebody After 15 min police arrived with a CPC, everybody ended in the local police station. CPC wanted to take the baby.  What saved her was that her husband was from Norway and he is a physician. When he arrived everybody changed tune, she was offered a place to change nappies....

This case is pretty interesting from a logical point of view: the woman's sister and this sister's fiancé didn't speak Norwegian. The woman's husband was not with them, so it is natural to assume that all three were speaking Czech in the café. To a causal observer (e.g.: the waitress) they would look just like a group of tourists. In other words, this case is a clear indication that Norwegian CPS can target tourists visiting the country and attempt taking these tourists' kids from them.

Let's see what was happening in Novorossia...

Yesterday saw an interesting incident with a BBC film crew. For the first time in the last year they came to DNR with the task report how the DNR army is breaking the Minsk agreement. BBC chose to report from the ravaged Donetsk airport (see how bad people in Donetsk destroyed their airport). Ukros were obviously not informed about this feat as at that moment they started their customary round of shelling at the airport. BBC crew weathered out 3 hits before beating a hasty retreat, and yet, the reporter managed to pant into the mic that is is Donetsk army shelling its own territory (for fun?) - never mind that the projectiles would have to perform a U-turn in mid-air to come in from Ukrainian territory.

Today, NAF managed to capture two Western trophies in Debaltsevo:

An armoured vehicle - Hummer
http://www.vz.ru/news/2015/2/19/730583.html

And an American sniper, who was captured alive:
http://www.vz.ru/news/2015/2/19/730570.html

Also, a surrendered Ukrainian officer told about Western advisors in the ranks of "Azov" punisher battalion, equipped with better weapons and com:
http://www.vz.ru/news/2015/2/19/730477.html

There was also a large number of Ukro-army trophies, e.g. 90 tanks:

The confrontation is shifting to Mariupol now.

I see a lot of angry Russians in this thread. You shouldn't be ashamed, you have such a beautiful history of shooting unarmed prisoners in the back of the head (1940), just like ISIS is doing now.

It wasn't about unarmed prisoners, but about deserters.
Enacted by Djugashivi/Stalin - a Georgian.
And now this practice is encated by law in modern Ukraine.
PoWs in USSR got better rations than the Soviet citizens. Get your history strait - historical accuracy is not optional thing to serve your needs.

I'm on your side of the argument but I have to point out he could be referring to the Katyn massacre by the NKVD, where thousands of the most educated Poles - officers, doctors, etc. - were rounded up, and executed many with a bullet to the back of the head.  (Although I believe, many more were put out on barges then sunk).

The Soviets blamed this crime on the Germans for decades, and many Poles have not forgiven "Russia" for this national catastrophe.   Nor has Russia properly apologized or taken responsibly for this, or any of their atrocities against Poland in WWII.    Just trying to shed some light on Poland's seemingly pro-banderite stance, but not justify it in any way.

Sorry, but it cuts both ways. The Poles also love to lay themselves out on the Battle of Praga in 1794 that was followed by a massacre of the civilian population by Alexander Suvorov's troops. But they forget to mention the slaughter of over half of the Russian garrison in Warsaw a few months earlier, when about 2,000 Russian soldiers had been mercilessly killed. You may ask what the hell the Russian troops were doing in Warsaw back then? This is a good question, but then I may well ask you what the Poles were doing in Moscow in 1612?

Yes I was talking about Katyn. Russians denied responsibility for this until the 90s.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eefn1FyXC9w

Recently some new NKVD orders came to light.
http://www.polskieradio.pl/beb140df-b78c-4035-a4ae-44eee61f8750.file
In the years 1937-38 A lot of Poles living in the territory of the Soviet Union were captured and murdered, just like Jews in Germany at that time, not to mention the Russian attack in 1939, which was called in Poland a backstabbing and was never forgotten. Russia even maintained missile bases and kept troops in Poland until the bitter end of socialism, which by many is viewed as passive occupation.

The relationships between Poland and Russia have never been good, and they got much worse during Putin's reign.

That said, if I met a Russian in a bar I'd rather drink with him than start a fight, so there's no hate here. Smiley

A lot of things would make more sense if people started to use Soviets instead of Russians, when talking about the time when Russia was under Soviet Union. It would create a better foundation of historical understanding.

About Soviet (not Russian) bases. Isn't is much the same as NATO bases now?  Wink

There are many things that Russians remember about Poles, that are not good, so as tee-rex said - it cuts both ways.
One does not even have to go as far occupation of Moscow in 1612. Poles came into modern Russian territory in 1918-1920 during the Soviet-Polish war, when Polish army occupied most of today's Ukraine and was stopped by the Red Army after a lot of bitter fighting. That operation, by the way, was performed with the blessing of USA, GB and France.

As for Putin, what is it that Putin did to Poland to worsen the relationships (except, of course, from the fact of still breathing)? Smiley So far I've seen quite a lot of negativity coming against Russia from the Polish top brass. Interestingly, I didn't feel the same negativity from the citizens, when I visited Poland. So, maybe people just need to come together and talk Smiley
I found an echo of it in the following article in a Russian newspaper, that I translated

I'm not used to agree with Souldream, but in this case he's right, using tactical and suitcase nukes over there, are quite unlikely.

Yes, it may be far-fetched, but not that far-fetched, and certainly not much more unlikely than KAL-007, WTC and MH-17 false-flags. The best false-flag is the one that never happens, and to prevent it, the possibility of it must become so widely-known that performing this act will no longer be meaningful. Once a false-flag is enacted, it becomes so much more difficult for the victim to contain the damage.

So I'll be quite content with being ridiculed or called propagandist by the likes of Souldream if it means helping averting a tragedy, rather than wait for a tragedy to happen and then telling everyone that it could have been prevented.

What also remains is the following: "According to intel from Russian/Ukrainian military analyst Alexander Zhilin (who’s originally from Nikolaev), 4 such American tactical nukes were delivered in November 2014 to the Ivano-Frankovsk military airport in Western Ukraine."
What is the reason for the delivery of this package, if not a false flag?

I was wondering why demonisation of Putin in Western MSM has become so heightened these last days, despite the seemingly possible end to the Ukrainian conflict, what with Russia-brokered peace accord in Minsk. The two info articles may be the answer:

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2015/02/12/putin911bomb/

Quote
– Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing the release of Russian satellite photos and other evidence showing that 9/11 was a false-flag operation by treasonous elements of the American national security community.

The original story reporting Putin’s threat was published by Pravda on February 7th. According to Duff, that story has been confirmed by a reliable source who has actually seen some of the photos during a visit to Moscow. VT sources insist that this is NOT merely a shot across the bow of the US government. Putin, these sources say, is genuinely planning to release the 9/11 material.

These historic photos are expected to show:

* That none of the passenger airliners allegedly used as weapons on 9/11 actually crashed where we were told they did; and:

* That the World Trade Center demolitions were conducted using extremely high-energy weapons.

“The sh*t has hit the fan!” exclaimed one highly knowledgable VT source.

Russia’s classified 9/11 dossier has been held in reserve against the day the Russians feel a vital national interest – such as their survival as a free and independent nation – is at stake. That day, it appears, has either finally come, or is approaching so fast that the impending launch of the “truth bomb” is being prepared.

...

Also, there is a danger for a nuclear false flag in Ukraine, which might require pre-demonisation of Putin:

3. German sources report that US military advisors in Ukraine have been busy. According to German intelligence, Americans were able to bring onto the territory of the Debaltsevo cauldron a ‘suitcase’ nuke. It appears US has nothing left to lose after Germany and France broke the ranks and sat down for peace talks with Russia.

...

Several weeks ago I said that we should expect a massive false flag in Ukraine, something that would be much bigger than MH17. There has been a recent mini-nuke detonation at the chemical plant in Donbass, but apparently, it failed to achieve the desired effect. It is possible they will try again in Debaltsevo. This has to be watched. And as I also said before, if a lot of people talk about it and watch it like hawks, it’s possible to prevent such false flags. Hopefully they will fail.

According to intel from Russian/Ukrainian military analyst Alexander Zhilin (who’s originally from Nikolaev), 4 such American tactical nukes were delivered in November 2014 to the Ivano-Frankovsk military airport in Western Ukraine. The question is: where will they surface?

If this Pornoshenko guy lasts out this month it´ll be a miracle. Since he is a total puppet of the mob you can just imagine the pile of garbage he has around him, domestic and foreign. I´m sure the U.S. Embassy has a helicopter at the ready on the roof to ship junk out quickly. All this pile of crap has led the Ukraininian military from one disaster to the next and I´m pretty sure that patience is about to run out there. Maybe he´ll end up with an AK-47 up his butt. Intel: US Mini-Nukes Delivered to Ukraine; Poroshenko’s Family Urgently Leaves the Country

The latest breaking news from Ukraine:

1. The family of Ukraine president Poroshenko has urgently left the country via a charter flight. This means that the situation in the country is much more unstable than is being portrayed, and the true extent of turmoil is being underplayed. It also means that Poroshenko knows that he may be unseated any moment and has negotiated an asylum for his family with his handlers in the West as part of the Minsk agreement. Instead of flying straight back to Kiev after Minsk, Poroshenko actually went to Brussels first where he had undisclosed conversations with EU politicians, including Merkel and Hollande. Undoubtedly, this is where the asylum was negotiated.

...

2. Ukraine sources are reporting that since the population is sabotaging the mobilization, Kiev junta is now conducting a forced mobilization. The military board a city bus and tell women to leave, while all the men who remain on the bus get herded into trucks and sent to the front. People from Zaporozhie (in central Ukraine, one of the cities that wants to join Novorossia) report that national guard breaks into people’s homes and forcefully hauls off the males into the army.

All this is happening after Minsk peace agreements have been signed and as ceasefire is supposed to be in effect in Donbass. Meanwhile, Donbass reports that there is no ceasefire and that Kiev army is consolidating its forces and attacking the positions of self-defence. They have again attempted to take the Donetsk Airport, which, according to Minsk accords, is supposed to be part of the DNR territory.

...

3. German sources report that US military advisors in Ukraine have been busy. According to German intelligence, Americans were able to bring onto the territory of the Debaltsevo cauldron a ‘suitcase’ nuke. It appears US has nothing left to lose after Germany and France broke the ranks and sat down for peace talks with Russia.

...

The potential false flag involving a mini-nuke inside the Debaltsevo cauldron is supposed to be blamed on Russia. Therefore, Russia gets again painted as a villain that detonates nukes in poor Ukraine. This may result in more EU sanctions and in US delivering those lethal weapons they had been threatening to send.

Now, let's see what we have in Novorossia so far today.
The peace is barely holding, but I am not optimistic.

DNR was shelled 74 times today, mostly around Debalcevo.
Head of DNR, Zaharchenko, visited Debalcevo today, where he was wounded in the foot. He is now in Lugansk hospital.
DNR army is preparing to pull heavy artillery from the contact line.
LNR army has already started pulling out their artillery in accordance with Minsk accord.
Kiev is not pulling out according to latest reports, on the contrary, they bring more artillery closer to Debalcevo.

And in Hungary, Putin explained to the press the fine points of the Minsk accord and his hopes that it will hold.
By the way, Hungary and Russia just had a mutually-beneficial deal of the century. Smiley

Here's some chronology:

Katyn massacre happened on Stalin's orders, so isn't Georgia also part-responsible... Just thinking out loud.

Now what about Volyn massacre: should Ukrainians or, again, Russians apologise for it.

"Federal subject" is the legal term. New York is a federal subject of USA.

This is exactly how Russians feel about these republics, that were formed in the lands of their former Union "our subjects, our land" and Putin in his imperial vision would gladly bring these strays back in his arms.

Aha, insert standard defamation here.

Ah, another article with targeted defamation/demonisation of Russia and its leader. How quaint.

Note that this happens every time Russia gets a leader who does not want to report to the Western powers. Note how well-praised by the West was the obedient Yeltsin, during whose reign Russia was robbed and plundered under the watchful eye of the American advisors.

For the interested in history, I can advise the following documentary:
http://stanislavs.org/black-myths-about-rus-from-ivan-the-formidable-until-our-time/

Putin is the best thing that could happen to Russia at the current stretch of its history and one of the best leaders since Yurij Andropov in the USSR era and Nikolai I or Paul I in the period of the Russian Empire.

Actually Western Europe doesn't want Russia to change as much as they don't want them to absorb territories and threaten their neighbors.
In the recent years there were sightings of Russian submarines near Sweden, and their bombers being intercepted by the British.
http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2015/01/29/382440318/british-fighters-escort-russian-bombers-near-u-k-airspace
Stop waving your sword Mr. Putin.

And Russia is actually not interested in absorbing new territories - it's the hysteria, warmed up in the Western MSM. If its historical territories want to come back under its wing, of their own volition, so be it. No one wants to take a cancer into its body, like USSR did, when Stalin annexed Galicia to Ukraine, against the opinion of his advisors.

The sub sightings in Sweden is nothing new. And, as before, this time also turned out to be "for the press".

Swedes even have a comedy film, using this as a sub-plot:  Grin

‘Get NATO, foreign countries out of Ukraine to end civil war’ – Ron Paul

Quote
The best thing for Ukraine is to force NATO, the US, and regional players out of the country, former US congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul said. Without foreign meddling in the civil war, Kiev will focus on the nation's economic collapse.

“Get the foreigners out of there [Ukraine], get the Europeans out, the US out, get NATO out, and get the Russians out,” Paul said at the International Students for Liberty Conference in Washington on Friday. “There will be less of a civil war going on there because they will have to worry about their debt. This is an economic matter too. You have to realize that the country is totally bankrupt.”

I really like this man. US would have been much better off with him as a president...

And a good Op-Edge with Jeffrey Sommers, of Wisconsin-Milwaukee University

‘Putin’s main interest - survival of Russia’

RT: Yesterday UK Prime MinisterDavid Cameron said that “we should be very clear that Vladimir Putin needs to know that unless his behavior changes the sanctions we have in place won’t be altered.” What do you have to say to that? All the responsibility lying with President Putin pretty much…

JS: I would disagree with that. I think that Vladimir Putin’s interest is in the survival of Russia, and frankly the survival of himself, as well. In other words, the assumption of people like Cameron and others is that Putin is out to build a greater Russia. And I don’t think that is the case. What instead we have is the defense of the national interest and that encroaching upon Eastern Ukraine is just one step too far for a country that greatly shrank after the dismantling of the Soviet Union. The prospect of putting a hostile alliance directly on its borders in the very place where it lost tens of millions of people during WWII is really unacceptable.

Danish police say they have identified the man they believe to be behind two shootings in the capital in the past 24 hours. They believe last month’s Charlie Hebdo massacre in France could have inspired him.

Police have identified the slain gunman suspected of killing two people in a double shooting outside a synagogue and at a free speech debate in Copenhagen as a 22-year-old Danish-born man with a criminal record and history of gang-related offenses.

Authorities have so far refused to make the name of the suspect public. But Danish broadcaster DR Nyheder said the gunman's name was Omar El-Hussein. The man was reportedly released from prison just two weeks ago.

Did Charlie inspire "him" or someone else..? Why let a good public-scare scenario go to waste, especially, when the main suspect is not going to say a word, on account of being dead - just like in France.

The report, now in a preliminary form, from the Council of Europe which you have linked to, Naine, is very important, I think:
Social services in Europe: legislation and practice of the removal of children from their families in Council of Europe member States
January 2015

And it is brand new! I had no idea of its existence. Wonderful - where ever did you find it? There are several formulations there which are so rightly critical of abuses going on that I can hardly believe my eyes. I have only skimmed through it, but I must study it more closely. (Hmm, the reporter is Russian, Nemo - a feather in Russia's cap too!)

I found a good analysis of the report here:
https://celticknotblog.wordpress.com/2015/02/06/social-services-in-europe-legislation-and-practice-of-the-removal-of-children-from-their-families-in-council-of-europe-member-states/

There is one political problem, that I hope will not detract from the report, exactly because it comes from a Russian reporter.
Russia was denied voting rights in PACE for the second year in the row under the bad pretext of Ukraine and considers leaving the Council of Europe altogether next year as it sees no point in paying a membership fee if it is not going to be heard anyway.

But nevertheless: I think Catholicism gives a certain protection against the inhuman thinking so usual in CPS circles, which perhaps Protestantism and atheism do not give equally naturally.

Maybe, though being an atheist in at least 3rd generation, I would disagree. Smiley Atheists tend to subscribe to humanistic views, with the main principal of "do to others as you would like others do to you".

The department confirmed his Russian propaganda, which you most likely believe in.
One truck with supplies followed by numerous unmarked armored transports and tanks. Don't forget to thank Vladimir for his generous gesture. There's enough proof of Russian intervention in Ukraine, despite his pathetic attempts to mask it.

I took the liberty to move the stamp of approval to a more appropriate paragraph. And, unlike EvilPanda, I will give some arguments in addition to the facts, provided by Balthazar in his post above.

"There's enough proof" is a Ukrainian propaganda speak that stands for "we don't have any hard evidence and can't be bothered to make any half-bad forgeries (like the one that we gave to a US senator that made him furious), but believe our factless words and give us money, weapons and support, ok".

So, EvilPanda, do show us that proof, and remember that extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence, so 4-5 cross-referenced satellite images and ground observations by OCSE would do for a start.

Do you really think so little of your US masters - they have a multi-billion spy satellite systems that can read you license plate, yet there have been no images of even a single Russian tank that would be oh so easy to spot in the open landscapes of Donbass. If such evidence existed, it would have been on the front pages of all Western MSM for at least a week.

But all that you have so far is the opposite:
OSCE chief saw no Russian troops in Ukraine's east

So, I ask you only once: give your hard proof of what you claim or be flagged as yet another clueless troll.

Ouch! Canadians could be on the radar of terrorists everywhere.

I don't know if the terrorists will "attack" Canada (I hope not). Do you think it will be a sort of coalition between russia and the terrorists?

No. It will be US-financed ISIS doing false flags in Canada to rally the sheeple. See: Paris.
Russia does not really care about Canada, as everyone there knows that Canada will do as US tells it to, Russia's primary concern is US.

I have two thoughts with regard to Ukraine and Canada:

1. Canada's "helping" Ukraine is akin to a pusher "helping" a drug addict by supplying him with stronger and stronger drugs, while saying that the addicts can pay later (IMF).

2. Canada and to a certain degree US is infected by the same kind of radical Ukro-nationalism as Ukraine itself. The reason for it is the large number of Galician emigrants, who got into positions of power and constitute a formidable lobby, pushing West-Ukrainian interests through the Canadian political system.

I think it´s time to face reality.

The Donbass will never be part of Ukraine again unless the mob and its nazi pals exterminate everyone there. And that is likely what they´ll continue trying to do unfortunately. Experience shows that this junk heap will stop at nothing.

American politologist Lendman predicts that USA will deploy ground troops in Donbass:
Obama's 'Big Lie': US Has Supplied Ukraine With Arms From the Start

...
“Washington supplied heavy weapons since the conflict began last April and maybe before it began in preparation for what was planned. I wrote about it several times including in a new article this (Saturday) morning,” he told Sputnik.

“So, key is understanding that Washington armed Kiev the whole time. Obama claiming it's under consideration is one of his many 'Big Lies'," he said.

NATO and Ukrainian aircraft have shipped in arms and munitions on a regular basis. Washington is the main culprit, he added.

'Arms Supplied by US Are for Offense, Not Defense'

Another lie, the analyst says, is about the arms being “defensive."

“Heavy weapons are supplied for offense, not defense, of course,” he says. “Fighting continued after the Minsk agreement was concluded. Kiev forces kept shelling civilian areas.”

...

“I expect a short-term mostly (but not entirely) quieter period beginning Sunday or Monday followed days or weeks later by Kiev initiated escalated conflict — with full US support and encouragement,” he predicts.

...

“I believe if rebels keep decisively defeating Kiev forces, which I expect, Obama will deploy US forces to Donbas — getting America directly involved in another war as opposed to the proxy one he's now waging,” said Lendman.

That's also my cautiously pessimistic view on the state of affairs now...
