11801  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: May 12, 2016, 02:21:01 PM
Earning a living with Bitcoin is possible but that means that you will have to invest allot of money into it to earn much money back. So for the people who do not have much money to spend it is not possible at this moment.

I disagree. It depends on how much do you need for living. In the beginning of 90s 10$ per month was enough for one person to live in Ukraine. It's not like this here anymore but I'm pretty sure there are some countries where situation is close to what was in Ukraine 25  years ago. But even if you need more, say $70 per month, it's possible to make this amount with a good sig campaign.
11802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2016, 09:32:36 AM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?

No man, you can't earn no easy cash, sorry. To make money is never easy and those who think otherwise often lose everything they have. Don't trust those who say they can easily double your money.
11803  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheap electricity for mining Bitcoin on: May 12, 2016, 08:56:04 AM
I found a cloud mining contract on oxbtc is the cheapest maintenance fee i have ever seen.
If  you don't believe you can go to see then.
If you can cheaper than that, i will consider buying some from you.

And here we go again. "Cloud mining". "the cheapest maintenance fee i have ever seen". Guys are you even seriuos? Many many times it was said on this forum that cloud mining is a scam scheme, especially it offers "the cheapest maintenance fee". Please don't fall for that.
11804  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: May 12, 2016, 08:31:24 AM
Many people in this thread, including me, predict that in 20 years Bitcoin will cost from $10k to $20k. Of course those numbers make sense only if the buying capacity of USD will be the same as it is today.

In short to retire in 20 years you'll need from 100 to 200 BTC.
11805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 12, 2016, 08:22:24 AM
Bible does not say or mention that it's a sin, but Bible mentioned something about love of money or greed. If it's for fun or entertainment I guess it's not considered as a sin.

I agree. Greed is a bad thing for you. Even those of us who are not reading Bible or any other religious book know that. It's hard to not become greedy if you gamble but if you managed to do that than gamble is not a sin, I guess )
11806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss City to Accept Bitcoin Payments for Government Services on: May 12, 2016, 07:46:22 AM
so this, seems huge, but nobody cared to report it?

http://www.coindesk.com/swiss-city-bitcoin-payments-government-services/

Switzerland is a great country. Not ideal, but one of the best in the world. What's unusual there is that the government is really caring about their people and at least is not preventing the citizens to make the life more convenient.

Of course using Bitcoins makes your life more convenient.
11807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: May 11, 2016, 06:40:47 PM
HI every one i loss everything in this gambling. Now i am empty hand and now i am realize there is no life in Gambling. Like this any body thinking please share here.

Yes, most people here share your thoughts, I think. But many of us, if not the most part, are gambling nevertheless. I'm sorry you lost a lot. Get back more than you lost and never gamble with big amounts or never gamble at all(which is almost impossible, that's why I always recommend people to gamble just for fun with small amounts).
11808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to destroy bitcoins? Send them to the value 0 address? on: May 11, 2016, 06:32:59 PM
Why would anyone want to burn Bitcoins?

People want to do the strangest things.  I think some folks want to destroy bitcoin to make the remaining bitcoin more valuable because of increased scarcity.  Not sure if that makes sense.  Now there was a program that looked to burn shitcoins because there are way too many of them, and that I can definitely get behind.  But bitcoin?  It really makes no sense to me.

If someone thinks that destroying part of the coins will make remaining coins more valuable the person is wrong IMO. In othter words you should destroy a large part, say more than 50% of all existing coins, to make others just slightly more valuable, but no one on Earth owns such a big part of them.
11809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs sex workers on: May 11, 2016, 05:43:36 PM
It would be really great if escort services accepted Bitcoin. I use one of them from time to time, and BTC would make things much easier for me. So I agree that it is a cool idea

Actually some of them accept Bitcoin already but they are in the UK. As for the USA, well, they are thinking about it:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/industry-veteran-teaches-escorts-use-bitcoin/

And I generally support the idea that all sex industries would use Bitcoin. Everyone will benefit from that.
11810  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: May 11, 2016, 10:28:56 AM
IMO if US gov has anything to do with 9/11 we'd already know this for sure. I mean guys like Snowden would let us know. Although I don't see US gov as perfect and flawless I don't think they would kill so much of their own people intentionally.
11811  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the effect of knowing Satoshi on bitcoin price? on: May 11, 2016, 08:21:51 AM
It will have negative effect if the Satoshi does something "wrong" in the real life. People will link him to bitcoin.

I disagree with this. Satoshi is a human being and like all human being he's not perfect so he may make mistakes, may say wrong things etc. This human actions, whatever bad they might be, can't make an impact on such a great thing like Bitcoin. People will use Bitcoin regardless of whether Satoshi is a good person or not.
11812  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice fair? on: May 11, 2016, 08:13:12 AM
I only rolled with faucets it gave but I'm not sure if I should Deposit my own BTCitcoins.

PrimeDice is one of the most reputable gambling sites around. I personally many times withdrawed money from the site without any problems. I'm not saying you should deposit your Bitcoins there because gambling is a gambling and most likely you'll lose them all, what I'm saying is that the site is legit and good to use.
11813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if the bitcoin disappear ? on: May 11, 2016, 08:07:43 AM
Bitcoin won't disappear in the nearest future. Bitcoin is already part of today's world and it can't disappear if the world stays. It's impossible to imagine what happens if mobile phones disappear nowadays. Almost same with Bitcoin.
11814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 06:23:53 PM
So, why do we need to use Bitcoin???

First of, it's a good investment. I'd say it's the best investment IMO. Other than that, you can transfer some amount to any part of the world and it will be easier and cheaper than using Western Union for example.
11815  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Wot if on: May 10, 2016, 02:55:21 PM
wot if trump becomes president of the unrated states of murica will he fire john kerry and get some new blokes in???

No

Hillary will be the next president. Liberals will win and religion will be banned.

I agree with you that Hillary will be the next president, but why are you saying that religion will be banned. I can't understand how is it possible to come to this conclusion hearing all what she says. I think even Trump wouldn't ban any religion if he was elected.
11816  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 10, 2016, 01:43:31 PM
No this will never happen if you ask me the dollar is way too big compared with the bitcoin.
I even think it has no chance for sure due to the fact the bitcoin is way smaller.
I think for every opportunity is always there. I do not think bitcoin will replace the dollar as the currency of the country usa. but more general. the current dollar is a global currency used by all countries?
nah bitcoin will have the opportunity to become a global currency that is accepted in all countries

Actually dollar is accepted in almost every country. I mean you could easily exchange dollar on local currency almost everywhere. Bitcoin on the other hand is not so easy to exchange. But I agree with you that in the future Bitcoin has better chances than dollar to become the global currency, because I think Bitcoin will be more trusted in the future than dollar.
11817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 10, 2016, 12:54:42 PM
Actually i never saw a man, who has rich from Gambling?
I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.
So i want to ask if anyone is here how has rich from GAMBLING ??

From my experience all those who say they bacame rich from gambling they just not telling the truth. Yes they might would win from time to time and sometimes they even win big, but that's because they spend a lot, they were rich before they started gambling.
11818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: May 10, 2016, 12:07:12 PM
Should we be worried? Should we trade our BTC now for other coin like ETH?

Hundred times NO. Why the fact that most Bitcoins are mined now in China should be a problem? Most diamonds are mined in Central and Southern Africa and how exactly this affects the valuableness of diamonds?

If you want to use diamonds as an example then de beers basically controlled the diamond market for a long time.

They maintain an artificially high price through the restriction of supply although they recently lost control and the monopoly.

Exactly. Same thing might happen to anyone who will try to controll Bitcoin. Also when de beers was controlling almost everything in the filed of diamonds people wouldn't throw away their diamonds and they wouldn't stop buying them, right? What I'm saying is that IMO it shouldn't a big problem to Bitcoin if a corporation controlls large part of them.

11820  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you do if bitcoin reach 5000 $? on: May 09, 2016, 09:28:57 AM
I will sell all my btc (45 btc to 225000$) Grin

haha, nice. I don't have such big amount, so I will not sell mine. I'll wait until it reaches $50k and then maybe I'll sell some.  Grin

But even then I doubt I will have anything around 225000$. You are rich. )
