You bruteforced my password (it was a relatively easy password) and are claiming that you did, but somehow it was right because of 'poor security'?
Do you care to elaborate on this? I don't think the PM you quoted would be enough to say that he admitted to hacking/bruit-forcing your account.
11942  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling bitcointalk.org accounts Update March 13 on: March 15, 2015, 01:31:06 PM
This account BTCreward was bought from quikseller , He gave the account negative trust instantly after buying , this is simply scamming as now the account is of no use at all !

Beware and dont deal with him , or do if you agree to accept red trust , ruined account !!

You were given negative trust because it was discovered that you are a scammer. You were given the opportunity to repay the people you stole from in order to get the negative trust removed from your account however you have not done so.
11943  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SEGVEC CONNED ME OUT OF 14.09 BTC on: March 15, 2015, 01:29:16 PM
I don't understand why neither of you has not yet filed a complaint/pressed charges? (hbo against segvec or printshop against hbo)

Or am I just too naive about where the money comes from?
Charges have not been filed against segvec because HBO is too naive to take the proper protections to protect himself. I had spoken to him on Skype a couple of times telling him the importance of contacting the police as soon as possible regarding this situation, however he really did not give any reason why he didn't want to do so.

Charges have not been pressed against HBO likely because he has publicly said that he is only 15 a number of times, as well as the fact that his family is in a poor financial state, likely in a ruse to get people to feel sorry for him.

A person's identity is not worth anything as it cannot be used to recoup any funds lent to a borrower.

I bid .76 BTC
11946  Other / Meta / Re: Is this considered spam? on: March 15, 2015, 12:46:38 AM
Haha too good. I bought this account.

Quickseller should know by now who I am Wink

I am not sure why you think that I know you. You did not buy that account from me. If you think you did I would like to know why.

This is what you wrote:

This is what was written two posts above yours:

It looks like that you just copied the link that KWH provided and added an additional sentence. I would personally call your post an insubstantial post

Can you do any kind of deal for the Snake and the kangaroo sold together? Do your prices include shipping?
11949  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Signature Space 1-month on: March 14, 2015, 09:32:05 PM
Do you have any plans or intentions to remain away from the forum any more then you have been in the last month?

if not then I will start at .01 BTC
11950  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Signature Space 1-month on: March 14, 2015, 09:15:18 PM
A few questions:
  • When does your auction end?
  • Are you able to offer any kind of guarantee that you will make a certain number of posts throughout the month?
  • How many posts have you made on average over the last few months?
11951  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Legendary Accounts on: March 14, 2015, 09:10:48 PM
From my views, there is no real demand for them. Their sigs are very similar to Seniors, which from what I've seen go as low as 0.3 BTC. I honestly would say a max of 2 BTC, whoever pays more than that must be crazy, or is running an obvious scam.

Best bet, just offer to sell products, etc. for a cut. Things like that to make up for the value.
Some people want the prestige of having a hero/legendary account. The fact that there are so few of them and that they are so rare gives them value.
11952  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Babba D is scammer (sockpuppet of scammer account superSTAR777) on: March 14, 2015, 08:47:23 PM
I recently sold an account to a brand new user and gave him the following address to pay me 1FTdAhi8V7ENw7pqovfVW5QNSQePi6qhUx. I received funds from 1KeXEqj7GHFSxyZgDdE9HhnGRdmCkUPM82 which is linked to Babba D and superSTAR777

Once I was able to review the evidence presented in this thread and others, I determined that the accounts really did scam for what appears to be $19. It looks like here he took out a loan and agreed to repay $9 in a few days but did not do so. It looks like here he scammed CoinCollect for $10 worth of skrill.

After I gave the account (BTCreward) negative feedback, I received a PM from him asking how much it would take to get the feedback removed. I told him that he would need to either repay his victims directly or he could pay me the $19 and I will forward the funds to his victims. I also told him that if he did not actually scam the above people or that he actually scammed for less then upon evidence that he did not actually scam that I would remove the negative trust. He appears to want me to handle the refunding of his victims.

I also told him that if it comes out that he scammed for more money then what I think that he would need to repay his additional victims the amount he actually scammed for.

The $19 he scammed for works out to .0665 BTC which includes two TX fees.

I told him that he can send .0665 to 1FTdAhi8V7ENw7pqovfVW5QNSQePi6qhUx and I would repay his victims on his behalf, and that I would recommend that the negative trust be removed on his other accounts. The first .115 received by the above address is my property.

Sure i am ready but i just want to apologies and ask everyone who gave me negative trust that will you guys remove the trust once i pay all debt , please give me a chance to become a good member , will you guys ?

When you repay, I will remove the negative trust feedbacks, but I will leave neutral feedbacks that you payed your debts (better scammed money) after many months..
Unfortunately it does not look like he is interested in repaying what he stole anymore. He has again asked me to either refund the money he paid for the account or to remove my negative trust, neither of which I am going to do.

+1 for Quickseller for posting about his new sockpuppet account.
Thanks
11953  Other / Meta / Re: CanaryInTheMine is further abusing the trust system on: March 14, 2015, 06:07:28 PM
What is more concerning is the fact that so many people have left positive trust for FC that are on CITM's trust list that as of now 3 people in the default trust network have now left FC negative trust but FC's trust score is still +150, which is the highest. I ran some tests, and even with 5 negative trust ratings, CITM would still have +150 trust.

I checked a while ago and I think it was everyone that gave positive trust to FC was on CITM's trust list except for maybe one or two, and maybe one or two additional people are both on CITM's list and someone else's list.

As a result CITM was able to make FC and in turn ASICminer much more trustworthy then he really was.

Additionally almost (but maybe all of them) all of the instances where someone in the default trust network turned scammer, or was purchased by a scammer were account's that were on CITM's trust list.

Fun to see that people are buying forum accounts here... good to know. In case I get tired of my account, I know what to do lol.

Your account would be worth a bit more than average full member accounts since you have an avatar.

I have sent a PM to you regarding purchase of accounts.

Thanks!
I replied to your PM

I have replied.

Just out of curiosity, what is such an account with avatar worth? Whats the going price?
I would say an account with an avatar is probably worth somewhere between .02 and .05 more then a non-avatar account, although once the new forum comes out everyone should be able to have avatars again.

@Berau - I got your email and replied, however again you do not need to post whenever you send a PM or an email.

Rate  Bitstamp+ 5%
Escrow Accepted .

Please reply fast if you intrested i need money in perfectmoney urgently
If you need the money urgently then it would probably be a good idea to offer a rate below the market rate. People on here tend to snap up good offers pretty quickly, but are generally less willing to pay above market unless they have a specific reason to need the bitcoin right away
11957  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering loans / 0.01 - 0.2 / 10% / No collateral / Sr. Member on: March 14, 2015, 06:19:29 AM
Need loan .1btc
Repayment date: March 18
Total to be repayed .12btc
Collateral: none

I hope I get approved Smiley
Just to let you know this person is asking for a .5 BTC loan in this thread. Not only that but he has admitted to taking out multiple loans for gambling purposes. I would strongly recommend against lending to this person.
11958  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .5btc loan *No Collateral* on: March 14, 2015, 06:18:14 AM
Why are you asking for a .1 BTC loan here but you are asking for a .5 BTC loan on this thread.

It seems to me that you are simply trying to get as much money as possible via a loan from a lender that does not know how to protect himself.
11959  Other / Meta / Re: IF you cannot Unban Permanent User (no warning got) Delete my all post in accoun on: March 14, 2015, 05:47:54 AM
I would say that the current stance is something close to a last resort before paid signatures are outright banned completely, it something close to that.

That would be unfortunate. For me and I would assume a lot of users it is a good means of having a steady income.

A revision of signature and restrictions might achieve the same. When the forum changed to activity and limited signature there was a reduction in spam before workarounds were discovered. Another downsizing like that should work.
Well my prediction is speculation I do think that paid signature advertising has unfortunately created a huge amount of unwanted spam throughout the forum. It has only gotten worse over time. With the closing of PD it did get somewhat better however it since has gotten worse with the opening of other pay per post campaigns.

I had proposed a potential solution that was shot down by an admin (that I will rebuke shortly) however even my solution would likely need to have been implemented months ago to be appropiately effective.
11960  Other / Meta / Re: IF you cannot Unban Permanent User (no warning got) Delete my all post in accoun on: March 14, 2015, 05:35:55 AM
You were not banned for one specific post. The ban was because of your overall history. Additionally you were more then likely previously banned multiple times in the past which should have given you warnings to change your posting habits.

The administration seems to have been taking an extremely hard stance on spammers as of recently. I would say that the current stance is something close to a last resort before paid signatures are outright banned completely, it something close to that.
