121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RED EVERY WHERE. on: May 20, 2018, 06:59:32 AM
I noticed since the beginning of the week that i have lost in one of my portfolio -17% of my asset and the other wallet is losing -12%.What is the issue that all altcoin is sharply moving southwards. Is there any regulation or ban by any government or any other issues. He who knows should let us be aware also.
Its normal, just hold and be patience because if you sell your coin for sure you even lose more so just wait until the market recover again just ignore those negative news where in the 2nd quarter of the year, Wait until before a year end because most of the time the value of every crypto become increas before year end so don't rush anything.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most influential factor that triggers bitcoin prices to fall down? on: May 20, 2018, 05:50:26 AM
Bitcoin is very volatile. It goes up and down at no time. But I started to think what causes its values to go down. These past few days, its prices are notably lower that last year's values. Last year, I believe, during the first few months, its prices are likewise low. Do bitcoin prices go down every January to February? Does it have a logical association?
Well there's a lot of investor, traders and users who sold their bitcoin that is why bitcoin price goes down, I think the reason of panic selling is the negative news about bitcoin so people fear to lose their money so they end up selling their bitcoin.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: May 19, 2018, 08:04:17 PM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
As of now no one can surpass what bitcoin did in the history of crypto world. Maybe possible crpto has a potential next to bitcoin is eth but to beat bitcoin is very difficult task because to the eye of investor bitcoin is much more valuable among the other crypto and it is proven that bitcoin can generate a lot of profit.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the price of BTC in 10 years? on: May 19, 2018, 10:10:37 AM
It's either very high or very low.  Im willing to bet it will be very high.  $100k-1mm
For me it will be very high because after 10 years bitcoin probably reach the max supplies and the market cap will increase more so the possible outcome would be price increase, So better we hold now and collect more bitcoin because of the great future a head by holding bitcoin as believer of this technology I assume bitcoin become more valuable.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for fast Profit on: May 15, 2018, 12:58:02 PM
Should I invest my 3ETH on which of the below for a quick buy and dump to maximise my profit?

ETH
NEO
ADA
This 3 crypto is worth investing for long term hold but If I were you I'll choose ETH and NEO I'm not against on ADA but I believe in eth and neo because its more profitable for me, when it comes to popularity eth has an edge to neo and ada. In the end you are the one who will decide what are going to do so think carefully and study what is the best for you.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: May 15, 2018, 11:28:59 AM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
Bitcoin price going down because there are so many negative news about bitcoin, but I still believe that bitcoin will surpass all obstacle that facing right now. So better we ignore those type of news and we need to relax, just keep holding our bitcoin and wait until it become profitable again.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: May 15, 2018, 09:10:13 AM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

Even though we are not know who is the developer of bitcoin but the community still supporting it because it is well known for all of the crypto currencies the demand is always high that is why to the eye of the buyers of bitcoin is always an edge to the other crypto and it is proven bitcoin is always profitable.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: May 14, 2018, 03:33:07 PM
What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

130  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: May 13, 2018, 02:19:17 PM
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen is launching a cryptocurrency in his own name, joining other famous sportsmen including Manny Pacquiao in a new venture to connect with fans.

The retired England star announced Wednesday his investment in the Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) as he unveiled the “Owen Coin”.

Could this be a booster to cryptocurrency because these celebrities have big influence world wide and could invariably canvass more support for cryptocurrency.
That is a great news because this will be start of recognizing crypto currencies globally and for sure the investors would be happy because they knew that their money is safe and secure there is a chance that they generate a lot of profit for sure there are more celebrities will follow this kind of endorsement.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 13, 2018, 08:18:15 AM
Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?
I don't see that bitcoin be banned in the Philippines because those scam artist used bitcoin for their scheme, The government warn people to become aware because there's a lot of scam artist out there so better check the back ground of the person or company before investing  money beside if you really want to invest on bitcoin better to buy it on exchange for sure it's more safe and secure. The government will put a regulation on that too and I think bitcoin will not be banned in the Philippines.

133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: May 12, 2018, 03:34:40 AM
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
I don't how many girls are in this forum the important thing is they have knowledge to get benefit in crypto industries because it is made for everyone, Most of the time girls are willing to take all the risk when it comes to investment they have so much passion to achieve goals in life.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin pose a threat to banks? on: May 11, 2018, 11:05:20 AM
Just as the digital era, the photographic industry witnessed the bankruptcy of Kodak, the rise of online music, the disc has also been quickly eliminated, after the advent of bitcoin, the financial industry may also need to carry out major rectification. Will the bank disappear?
Bitcoin and other crypto are always be a threat to the banks because they think if people truly embrace this new kind of technology the possible outcome people will switch to crytpo than using traditional way which we are saving our money to the bank. But for me bank will not disappear even if bitcoin recognize as one of the global currencies because not all the people know the existence of it.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: May 10, 2018, 06:40:12 PM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
It depends on what kind of coins you are holding better to invest on the top 20 alts by that there's a chance to gain a lot of profit and for sure it is worth for holding, There's a lot of ways to choose a promising alts and where to join in bounty program, But who knows what will to your coin maybe this is their year but if there's no progress happen then you are the only one will decide on what is the next thing you will do for your coins.
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin & College students . on: May 09, 2018, 12:59:01 PM
I believe that a huge portion of the the crypto community are still young college students that don't have any necessities that need another source of income aside from their scholarships / the money they are getting from their parents .
And apart from spending their cryptos on either betting or purchasing goods/video games from online markets , many of these students didn't make plans for what they'll do with their coins in the future.
I myself have had many thoughts about hodling and launching a business as soon as i graduate with the coins in my possession , yet i'm not exactly sure what i'll be doing ..
So i'm really curious about :
- On what do you spend your coins apart than partying/gambling/paying for tuition loans ?
- Do you have any future plans for your coins if you are hodling any ?

I have known many friends who actually used this chance on getting a lot of benefit in bitcoin the best thing is they know what their 1st priorities of course they want to help their parents to minimize the expenses for their study and some of my friend they pay their own tuition fee but partying, gambling and playing online games is normal thing and its part of growing up, for sure they know the value of crypto so I think there are many students keep their coin for their future.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 08, 2018, 12:43:06 PM
After participating in ICOs by buying some tokens or participating in bounties, the moment their tokens are listed in exchanges, what do you do guys, do you sell your tokens right away or wait for a more higher price to come?
Actually I'll do both because if I see that the project is not supported by the community expect that after listing it to the exchange usually it drops more and more but If you believe in the project then you should probably hold it and follow the road map of the project sometime its worth because you can make a lot of profit but to if you want to assure things you can save the half and sell the other half.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 08, 2018, 11:32:35 AM
Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.
I suggest used that amount to buy bitcoin then hold it for long term investment because in the future bitcoin price will be more valuable than the other crypto if you want to earn more alts may you just need to join in bounty program then pick a good ICO project after collecting those rewards you you can start trading or maybe used it to buy more bitcoin.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: May 08, 2018, 06:08:11 AM
So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!
Investing in different ICO is a good way to make a profit but you need to pick a good one because when choosing a good ICO it consume a lot of time by reading white paper and learning about their project. But I can't see bitcoin can beat by the other crypto because bitcoin for me is still the basis of crypto but we never what will happen in the future so we need to collect more alts as long as we have chance.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading ? on: May 07, 2018, 10:23:16 AM
i am very new to trading and would like to learn how to trade
...not sure where to start ... any suggestions would be very helpful ...
whats the best way to get the knowledge in this field ?
thank you
The first thing you will do is to watch tutorial video in youtube after learning and getting some idea on how to navigate then create an account which do you prefer I suggest try binance, bittrex,or poleniex this trading site are very easy to used then you should load a fund on which crypto currencies do you prefer or have then start experiencing it because by that you gain more knowledge it takes time to learn more but it's worth it because you can eliminate your mistakes in the long run.
