What do people think of the fact that ETN team keeps touting the "return" compared to the ICO by pricing in USD? BTC and ETH have both risen SHARPLY since the ICO. While it's true that ETN going from 0.01 to 0.07 USD is a 600% increase, if I put that 0.01 into BTC/ETH I probably would have had like 0.2 or 0.3 already. So I think it's a little disingenuous for ETN to take credit for the general rise in crypto market cap as a return on ETN's ICO.
That being said, any ETN return ABOVE AND BEYOND the BTC/ETH return of the same time period would still make it worthwhile. And I think it's a great project. I just don't like how much "over-hyping" the ETN team is doing. They seem to like throwing out flashy statistics instead of focusing on core value.

There will be more good news ahead. Want to thank the devs for not giving up. People here crying "shitcoin" but ask yourselves: if the dev was trying to scam or take the easy way out, dev could have just abandoned coin and relaunched some shitty clone of something else. The fact that an extremely distressed coin is still being worked on is a good sign. Obviously I don't recommend anyone invest until promises are fulfilled, but to just write this off when the dev is being active is silly. |

Better for me that this coin is low in price and hashrate, I can mine 5x more than a couple weeks ago, even more without those Nicehash maniacs that screwed up the difficulty for some time.

what kind of nonsense. chain of blocks shows 100 more than there is  Can you please clarify the problem you are having? My wallet block height is 9346, the exact same as the block explorer. I know some people are having trouble staying synced, but it looks like lots of people are able to do so if they follow the instructions carefully: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2424587.msg25978707#msg25978707If those instructions are too complicated for you, you may want to look for a different currency with slightly less technical issues. I'm sticking to this one because, while there are some problems with forking, anyone who is careful can stay synced. Also, the dev is very active so I think he will work the problem out in the end. |
