We have several servers running behind the copay wallet to provide it with the information it needs. At times, one of the servers may go offline which causes issues. The best thing to do is to get on slack to let us know and we'll investigate and either get that server back up and running or remove it from the stack. We're working on automated methods of catching when servers aren't responding. We're also working to add better handling for the decentralization of these services client-side. It's unfortunate but this coin is officially dead. A fork such as this needs to be well thought out and ample time needs to be given. The daemon needs to be able to receive messages from the network notifying it that it's out of date and to terminate execution when it must be updated.
I continued to mine this and when I saw difficulty drop, I figured maybe some huge farm went offline. I even went as far as renting additional hashpower just to find out that I'm mining on the old chain. Thank you for wasting my time and money.

Mining on http://pool.bitcoinz.siteEverything was working fine, till today. No new blocks found, 0 immature, 0 balance, shares keep adding up. What does this mean? Should I switch to a different pool? Someone was using a lot of hash power from Nicehash to promote the pool and now they've stopped. You'll still earn the same amount, just less frequent payments that are bigger. |

As a case in point, check out the number of shares for each block on https://equipool.1ds.us/paymentsSome blocks were found very fast, needing only 3375 shares. Other blocks take more time, 195339 shares or more. This is why 24 hours isn't enough. You really need more data to make an accurate determination on whether a pool pays well or not. |

I will keep mining on Suprnova. When the donation website is online I will think of my contribution.
Here is the pool with the supporting project https://pool.miningspeed.com, it works well, an honest pool, more profitable than suprnova.cc by 7-15%, crediting to the wallet after 100 confirmations - about 4.5 hours hi, how do you calculated that you earn 7-15% more? this is just assuption or did you test it? becouse as i understand, it shoud all pool give you the same ammount of coin, different is only a % of fee they have (that is in theory on long run), ofcoure if pool do not steal in the behind. differend is laso paying mathod and bigger pool,less share, more time payments and smaller pools, less payments , but bigger one. and in the and it should be equal right? i was happy with suprnova, mostly i get more or it looks more. I moved only becouse of community donation. if suprnova had that, i would never leave. most people like to have trusted pool and new pool has to gain trust and it takes time, that miner moved. i will really like, that you explain your better % gain in that pool vs. suprnova pool. thx 10/29/2017 tested Suprnova 1 * gtx1060 - 320sol / s, 19 hours 30 minutes of operation 131 BTCZ = 6.71 BTCZ per hour. At the same time, 1 * 1070 - 460sol / s on the miningspeed pool 208 BTCZ = 10.66 BTCZ per hour, which is approximately 10.66 * (320/460) = 7.41 BTCZ per hour 320sol / s. 7.41 / (6.71 / 100) = 110.43% This is of course a very rough test and counting. Look at it this way... Mining on a pool that donates helps the coin increase in value. By mining on a pool that doesn't donate, you're contributing to keeping the price low and feeding the big pool's wallet. Small pools find much less blocks but you make more coins per block. All pools have lucky streaks and unlucky streaks. 24 hours isn't enough to judge a pool. You really need to mine it for 7-30 days to get a much more accurate gauge for how much profit difference is before making a decision on which is better.
