121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the best coin to buy now on: January 02, 2019, 03:55:11 PM
I've heard a lot of people say, there are lots of coins that are good to buy, but I want to know, what coins are the best for me to buy?

There are really lots of good coins in the market but you should choose depending on what you want. Some coins are good for a long term holding because of their platforms and some are profitable in just a short period of time. The market is really volatile so we have to be wise and try to do a series of research before investing.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can I earn 1 bitcoin in 1 year through bounties ?? on: December 15, 2018, 03:11:00 PM
I am in the crypto world since a long time but I never earned 1 BTC whole ever..I never took bounties too seriously but now I am jobless and want to start with bounty...how much can be earned with bounties specially with my rank..

I guess it would be possible but it will take a lot of patience, hard work and courage for you to earn that amount. It is important that we know how to deal with the possible changes in the market and work hard if we would want to earn at least a single bitcoin. Now that the market is down, we will be needing to wait a little longer.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 15, 2018, 06:49:58 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

As for me, there would be lots of things to consider before having crypto in replacement of fiat. We all know that most of the countries are clueless about crypto. We should consider informing people about it first before they adapt it. Fiat is still the most common way of transacting these days.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: December 14, 2018, 08:22:48 PM
to find out a coin that is going 10x is really hard, lets be realist.
But 2x - 3x is far more easy, any thoughts?  Roll Eyes

It is hard to predict the future of new altcoins these days so I would still choose to trust bitcoin and ethereum. These two has proven and have shown us proof and passed all the tests of time that it could go through unexpected increase. I believe that bitcoin and ethereum could go more.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: December 14, 2018, 05:15:01 PM
I've seen lot's of people who complain to bounty hunters who dump their tokens after they get them. Why hate them? They have all the rights to sell whenever they want and bounty allocations are only 1%-5% of the total supply of the coin. I don't think it will do much to lower the price of the coin. I mean it's even good for the ICO investors as they will have a chance to buy more tokens with lesser price than the ICO.

Holding the tokens also doesn't mean it will make you rich. Some tokens get abandon by the developers so it would be better to sell at a good price than be left hanging in the end.

I have no idea why a lot of people are hating bounty dumpers where in fact, there is nothing wrong with it. We should just allow them to do their thing because it involves their own money out of their hard work. They are the ones who should decide when to sell it.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: December 13, 2018, 06:13:47 PM
I have this assumption that we may be having another December bull run, though may not be as high as we had last year. Bitcoin however have maintained a very good support level around $6000 since this year and there is no sign of breaking lower.

Sampling opinions from various investors show that there is this excitement and anticipation of another end of the year bull season and aside TA and FA, the market is equally controlled by the investors psychology and with this whole charade of an expected December bull season, I am of the opinion that it will likely come as a lot of persons are already waiting as we have a large number who are "for" than those "against".

We are in the middle of December and there is still no bull run happening. The market has been so unpredictable this year. As for me, we all have our own opinions and we are free to state everything that's on our minds. We should just keep on waiting because it seems like things are different this time.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should leave the market? on: December 13, 2018, 04:26:58 PM
A little discussion about the market. Do you have belief in this market? In my country, people are frightening when the capitalization is reducing dramatically, many of whom have drawn out from the market. And some experts suggest that people should only invest in 20 coins which have the highest capitalization, and stay away from the low-capital ones. What is your opinion about this?

A lot of people are panicking because of the market situation but do you think leaving is really the answer? Upon entering cryptocurrency, we should know the every coin is volatile and no coin is stable here. We should have a little patience until the bull market runs back.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: December 13, 2018, 03:38:54 PM
'The new Marulas Public Market in Valenzuela City is the first-of-its-kind ‘DigiPalengke’ initiative in Northern Metro Manila where an entire marketplace is equipped to accept mobile cashless payments.'

https://pia.gov.ph/news/articles/1015376

--

This is quite interesting since even a public market where most of the time common folk buy their everyday needs is accepting digital payments. While this is not entirely related to cryptocurrency, it's as if the people are slowly seeing the convenience and security cashless payments offer to their everyday lives. For years, scan-to-pay stores are just confined within the walls of malls and luxurious places but it seems that we're slowly bringing it to the masses and eventually, it will be the norm to pay only with our smartphones and pre-loaded accounts--and in the future, possibly even cryptocurrencies.

They are actually using Gcash and paymaya which is just a way of transacting through our latest technology which still involves fiat. On the other hand, it is still an advantage because most of the Filipinos are getting into the latest trend of transacting and it would be easier for them to adapt cyptocurrency in the future.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: December 12, 2018, 07:17:59 PM
Hi Everyone,

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

I usually do that because that only gives me an assurance about investing. As for me, it is important that we'll know where to put our money appropriately. There are lots of potential coins these days but we should know what to choose and where to put our money.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: December 12, 2018, 06:19:41 PM
Ether has dropped to $ 90. Should I buy more under the prospect of growth or look at other competitors? I'm interested in your opinion, which of the Altcoins dedicated to smart contracts is the most promising?

We can't deny the fact that ethereum has been so shaky and unstable. It dropped too low which caused most of the holders and investors to hold back and panic. As for me, ethereum would rise better again and we just have to wait for the right time.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: December 08, 2018, 09:22:25 PM
in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.

Of course it is necessary. No matter how our technology have grown, we couldn't still deny the fact that fiat is still the main currency that we are using. It is important that we'll have it so we'll know how to handle our earnings. No digital currency could replace it because it is one of our necesities.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: December 08, 2018, 07:57:32 PM
If so, when?

I believe that it isn't impossible for ethete to reach that value since it has proven us a lot. It is really best to trust our holdings than any negative speculations that we might hear anywhere around us. We all know that capability of ethereum to rise so we have to trust it.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: December 07, 2018, 09:03:48 PM
Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining

Kyc is just giving me a confusion because sometimes, it is really hard to provide the requirements that they are asking for. They are sometimes asking for too much information that is invading our privacy. I guess, it is better if they will just remove kyc process.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH falls and surpasses it on: December 07, 2018, 08:23:50 PM
Whether ETH can fall to the price of $ 70 for now or bounce up, seen when btc rises eth does not rise but when the btc drops eth it decreases too, whether it is possible or not

As for me, $70 is too much. I guess it won't drop that low but no matter how low it may drop, I still believe that it will strike better than what we all want. Recovery time is about to come so we should just be hopeful about it and must expect the best ou of our holdings.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation. on: December 07, 2018, 07:08:55 PM
We know that younger people these days are used to everything being faster and more efficient, because they have been exposed to technological innovation from their birth.

The younger people entered this world at a much faster pace than the older generation and they are being bombarded with choices like no generation before them. They are also used to instant gratification, because technology has enabled a world where things happens almost instantaneously.

Bitcoin is just another technology where things are done more efficiently and much faster than the traditional options available and the younger generation are drawn to these technologies, like a moth to a flame.

Bitcoin should be applied to all services where there are a need for more speed and efficiency, to draw in the younger generation that are constantly searching for that.

Do you agree? Let's discuss this and see if we can target the correct demographic with this technology.  Cool

I believe yes, because they are capable of dealing with the latest changes in our technology and society. They are smart enough to handle and adapt everything about bitcoin since it is the latest trend in the economy. New generation has a bigger advantage.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Big Successful ICO Coins Price are sinking? on: December 07, 2018, 05:36:19 PM
What's going on with big successful ICO projects? Big Successful Projects like Pumapay, HDAC, Cryptosolartech, Bankex. Look at their coin price, every coin price is like nothing and their trading volume is too low! Pumapay raised 117 Million USD, but their trading volume less than 2 Million USD and coin price are just ridiculous. HDAC, Such a promising Project it was, but HDAC ico investors are lost their investment, ICO price was 1.25 USD per HDAC Coin and now it's trading with 0.037 USD! Seriously? And the same thing happened with Bankex, Cryptosolartech. But Why? What is the reason behind it?

Everything is sinking at the moment. Even the biggest coins these days are in deep dip and we can't do anything about it. The value of bitcoin has a big impact in every coins prices. I guess things will still go back to normal soon. Every investors are holding right now.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: December 06, 2018, 06:35:32 PM
Just pay attention to the current bear market and ETH down on the coin exchange to number 3, I think this situation can cause some disappointment for Ethereum users, but I believe that ETH will rise again to that position in a short time. what do you think?

As a crypto enthusiast, I believe that ethereum would repeat it's history. It will reach the best value again which is more convenient for us. We should know how to handle the changes in cryptocurrencies like ethereum. Things will get better soon so we should keep on holding.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: December 06, 2018, 05:30:45 PM
Honestly, what do you think will happen with the market? no matter how positive I want to be, I think that lot of people (myself included) were waiting for the bull run to start this month, but we're already at 25 and there's still no movement, I think we should be thankful that btc hasn't continued to drop, but many projections have fallen apart when we're almost entering November and nothing of the bull run, what do you think will happen with the market at the end? we're finally seeing the beginnings of a stabilization? our goal should be mass adoption now that prices are stable?

I am still positive and optimistic about the market situation. I believe that the history will just repeat itself so we have nothing to worry about it because everything will still go back to normal or something better than what we want. We just have to be smart and wise.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: December 06, 2018, 04:59:42 PM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

It isn't a wrong time for you. The market is just experiencing a bloody time so you have to be optimistic towards it. Things will get better so you still have enough time to learn everything about trading. Just have enough preparation fpr the future. It's a long learning process.
