Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?
Yes Social media can also influence the bitcoin price significantly. Media hype can easily lead to an increase in the price, while negative news can lead to a decline in the price. For instance, news about bankruptcy or hacks on bitcoin-related websites and services can cause panic and disruption among bitcoin users, leading to price dips. Negative news about government involvement and regulations as well as news on the use of bitcoins in illegal dealings such as drug transactions and money laundering tends to have the same impact on the bitcoin price.

Bitcoin is promising currency, but somehow because of it's volatile value. How can bitcoin help the community? especially the 3rd world country.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies offer many opportunities that can help these disadvantaged individuals, communities, and countries. These technologies have the potential to help the poor by reducing excessive remittance fees, giving greater access to financial institutions, combating inflation and perhaps even helping to end corruption.

I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.
I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.
Now, what have been your experience with internet scams? How do we help people not to get scammed?
I remember before I got scam too. When I am new to bitcoin and I try to invest into what they called "hyip" that you can get something like percentage of your investment then I was hoping it really pays. After a day, when I was requesting payout it was stuck to pending notice. After that I didn't believe to any investment site anymore. I've already learn my lesson.

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
Yes, bitcoin can improve economy. Why?? Because bitcoin can improve every one in us, can also improve our lives. And not just one but in many ways it helps us who know and uses it. Right?

Most sites are legit alright, in terms of the money they pay out. The problem is that faucets are simply not worth your time. The activities you are required to do and the ads you have to watch take so much of your time and the btc they give you is so small that you are better off doing something else. Don't waste your time on faucets.
I came across this site where people can roll the dice, earn free bitcoins and also multiply them. How legit are these sites and how to use them effectively?
He/she is right. Most faucets are paying but it's not worth it to do. I knew it because I'd already do wasted my time in that faucet claiming to make only 1 cent in a day. Why do that when you can do more than that.

I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
The government here already knew about bitcoin but I don't know if they are against it, but the central bank did warn Filipino's to avoid investing in bitcoin and other virtual currency. But if they ban it here, I will do my best to have access to it again.

I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?
What is your opinion?
For me both are accepted to bitcoin, it's a currency at the same time as an asset. Because it can make you rich or lose. If it's only for making transactions quick and easy then the price of bitcoin should not be like that rise and fall.

Dear audience I have 0.05 BTC should I hold it for future value ? In recent time the market is very dumping so that feeling little scared. The amount is not very necessary I can hold it if the market will raise
Just hold it. It is normal for crypto to rise and fall. Don't panic or scared if price goes down, don't cut your loses already just hold and believe that bitcoin will survive again and again.

What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age? Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?
I think there's nothing late for everything. As what they say "better late than never" as long as they understand the crypto and know the advantages and disadvantage of it. Why not? Try their own luck for this one of a kind opportunity.

As we see that bitcoins price is unpredictable and we don't know when it fall and rise. So when you store your bitcoins in your wallet, two things may happen. Your bitcoin may be down in value or may double or triple its value, but no one can say when. So the best way is to wait and see.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
If you ask me what to do? I'm going to hold it for a while or wait until I know what am I going to do with that 1 BTCI have to think hundred times to where to put that money so that it's not going to wasted in a short period of time.

Look out for the people who arent willing to do escrow. Their will be guys coming on here promising you any gift card but you first must send them money. First sign is low posting number. There is a lot of signs showing someone may be a scam.
Scam is always there whether online or offline. They just have different techniques to deceived you.

"Buy Bitcoin" sign appearred again today. Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears During DOTA International Tournament https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sign-appears-during-dota-international-tournament" Bitcoin made an unplanned appearance at the most recent DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) International Tournament, as an audience member held up a ‘Buy Bitcoin’ sign during announcements of the televised event.
Bitcoin has been frequently popping up in unlikely locations. The current stunt, intended to increase awareness of Bitcoin, is not the first of its kind, after an audience member at Janet Yellen’s congressional briefing did the same.
Both events indicate a growing awareness of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies generally. The awareness may be part of the reason for the substantial price increases over recent months, with Bitcoin cresting $3700 today." I expect more signs will pop up in sport events and many other places. It is a way to promote Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies. I'm happy to know about that, because im a bitcoin user. But how we gonna do this? I think its a paid advertisements. So if we want to make bitcoin price increases we have to put some effort and money?

Bitcoins not reduced the unemployment because people who works with bitcoin they are still unemployed. It's just bitcoin gives us the opportunity to earn with it. But it is not like regular jobs that regularly pays you. It is different.
