121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A known enemy can easily be defeated on: May 21, 2024, 09:38:16 PM
All people and platforms that offer wallet or lost currency recovery services are undoubtedly scams. Without a doubt, everyone knows that losing the private key, seed phrases, or currencies inside the wallet are matters that no one can help in returning if lost, but requesting a wallet address by any scammer does not pose any threat, and this is what the scammer wants to make you feel at ease and avoid suspicion from the beginning, and eventually trap you in one way or another.

This could be by convincing the victim to pay the full-service fee or the blockchain, or 50% before starting and 50% after completing the service, or by having the victim install software like TeamViewer so they can control the computer and steal sensitive and important data and hack it, or by sending one of the phishing domains to obtain the victim's seed phrases or private key. Then they might use this wallet to send an On-Chain Message to addresses the wallet owner has previously transacted with, which could belong to friends or acquaintances, and then scam them through the owner's wallet or steal the assets that are still present in other blockchains and NFTs that the wallet owner overlooked. There might be even more advanced scamming methods, so it is best to block incoming calls from such strangers and never comply with their requests.
122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeing is no longer believing on: May 21, 2024, 07:57:52 PM
I have previously published about this matter, and in fact, deep fake technologies can be closer to reality and easily used by scammers to deceive investors and traders. These techniques can be misused to wrongly mimic the voices and personal characteristics of any prominent figure in this field by ultra-realistic quality.

The fraud will likely be believed by the victims after making a video call or receiving a video or audio clip.. etc., from one of these fraudsters who hide behind their impersonation of well-known personalities and project owners. Look at the statistics of those defrauded through deepfake technology. You will find many stories from individuals and customer service departments of companies that have fallen victim to these innovative methods. Therefore, every person must not believe everything he sees or hears and conduct his own research instead of rushing and completely trusting anyone with some of this false evidence because sometimes their eyes and ears may not show them the truth of things clearly.
123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 19-May-24] on: May 21, 2024, 03:59:53 AM
Due to the latest update published in the Duelbits.com campaign managed by Hhampuz, there are now positions opening for all ranks in this signature campaign (Full Members+). Several previous members were removed for various reasons mentioned by the BM.

[ A minimum of 20 constructive posts each week ] - [ Make a minimum of 10 posts of these 20 posts in the Gambling boards] - [ A maximum of 5 posts per day]

➥ You must read the Campaign Rules & Requirements in full before applying.

Apply now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5280190.0

I've removed a number of members through all ranks to get some fresh users into this campaign. The reason for your removal could be because of merit earned in the last 120 days, posting habits or that you mainly post in a local board where we have a lot of members already. If you've been removed you can reapply but your chances of being accepted in this coming round will be lower. I thank you for the time you've spent in this campaign and it has been my pleasure to have you here!

We have open positions for all ranks (Full Members+), apply now!
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use decentralized bitcoin in a centralized way? on: May 21, 2024, 03:09:34 AM
The concept of centralized exchange platforms is contrary to the decentralized approach in which Bitcoin was founded. Centralized platforms are considered like banks, with KYC and AML procedures and strict policies. They are the primary controllers of your assets and your private keys.

Although many decentralized Bitcoin wallets are available for free, the most secure are hardware (cold) wallets that are not connected to the internet and can be purchased for a fee. Custodial wallets, on the other hand, are not safe if the centralized exchange gets hacked, users' data is collected, and their privacy is compromised. However, CEX users might be inexperienced or not fully aware of what they are doing, prefer using features like P2P trading or other types of trading, or want to take advantage of the offers provided by these CEX platforms... These may be some of the reasons besides their laziness.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 20, 2024, 08:51:52 PM
It is good to diversify your investments instead of focusing on a single currency, as you never know which one might be the most profitable. However, your list contains entirely meme coins. You know these coins are not considered safe or low-risk investments.

I wouldn't consider putting $1000 of my capital into these meme coins. Instead, I can choose altcoins with real projects that offer advanced, unique, and attractive technical features to investors, as the risk rate in these tokens will be much lower than the meme coins, which could cause you to lose a portion of your capital allocated for investment. However, you are responsible for making investment decisions after researching and managing the risks. If you ask for my opinion on notable meme coins, they would be $PEPE, $BOME, $WIF, and $BONK.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network Token is to be listed in Binance Soon. on: May 20, 2024, 06:47:33 PM
why has Binance not dropped any update about it on any of their X accounts for it to be official?
Even the official Pi network account on X [1] did not announce anything about what was mentioned in the article that the OP referred to, and no blogs or reputable websites have reported this news, except for Hokanews, which is certainly spreading lies about Pi Network just to rank in search engines and gain views and referrals through the links included in their blog articles.

Even the sources and references for this news, such as the news of the launch of the Pi ecosystem at 7:00 am on June 1, 2024 [2], originated from one of the accounts on X belonging to an unknown Trader not affiliated with the Pi Network team. So, the news about Pi being listed on Binance is one of the misleading promotions to revive hope among Pi miners who have been waiting for more than five years with no results. Therefore, I advise the OP to do his own research before posting any of this nonsense on the altcoin board.
127  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Does a newbie warning flag about this need a lot of explanation? on: May 20, 2024, 02:36:53 PM
Suppose the service provider and his team of expert cryptocurrency researchers, whom we do not know who they are, can produce these unreasonable positive results and returns that reach 45,000%. Are they waiting for this small amount of money from selling premium memberships whose value starts from $80 to buyers? This was one of the most ridiculous services I saw in the forum [and indeed, they are taking the idea of pump-and-dump channels and paid analysis channels to entice investors with huge returns and then scam them].

Even their claim that the vast investment returns through the calls they provide are guaranteed and that they can release crypto before the hype around it begins is solid proof that they are scammers and untrustworthy. Therefore, supporting the flag would be one useful measure to prevent potential novice buyers from falling for the service provided by the newbie member who created his account two days ago and has not provided any proof of the validity of what he offers.
128  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Loopring Airdrop (not already identified) on: May 20, 2024, 12:24:05 PM
Yes, this is a phishing domain, 100%. When you click on the link you mentioned in your topic, you will be directly redirected to event-loopringtoken[.]net.

Also, only a wallet connection window will appear when you click on any pages or social media links after opening this domain. Indeed, if you check their official accounts, you will know that this phishing domain is not related to them, as their official websites end with .org, which is the old domain that the scammers have impersonated on their phishing site, and it contains nothing related to airdrop, and .io, which is the new domain.

You can report/Flag address to Etherscan Phishing Form and file a report with the domain registrar to take protective measures for many who received Loopring like you.

130  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تهكير منصة رين العربية on: May 17, 2024, 05:40:06 AM

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 17, 2024, 05:00:45 AM
The altcoin I have just taken profit on is Arcblock - I was lucky and got in last year at $0.11 and it has just reached a new all time high of $4.26 so almost given me 40x return so far so felt I had to take some more profit.

I sold to Usdt and then with that Usdt I topped up my bags on 4 other altcoins I already have in my portfolio that I believe will do well this bull run.
Indeed, the currency achieved a new ATH 8 days ago, and a 40X return certainly looks attractive. Congratulations to you! It is good that you secured and frozen your profits in USDT instead of swapping directly for the tokens you wish to buy.

Holding USDT will make it easier to determine suitable buying zones for other altcoins you want to top up your wallet with. Also, you have not completely exited the ArcBlock; if it gets listed on OKX or more exchanges, you could potentially make more profits. I hope you have succeeded in doing your research and carefully choosing the altcoins you have invested in now. Also, I do not recommend holding your tokens on Coinbase or any other centralized exchanges. Since you appear to be a long-term investor, moving your coins to any decentralized wallet is better.
132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding cryptocurrency on: May 17, 2024, 04:06:42 AM
When a beginner trader experiences a financial loss in the crypto market, he will undoubtedly advise his acquaintances and peers and warn them based on his own experience. Of course, suppose they do not listen to his advice and enter the world of trading and investing in cryptocurrencies without sufficient expertise, understanding, learning, and strong knowledge. In that case, they will undoubtedly face the same fate as him.

Suppose they do not follow signals, cannot grasp the basics of trading, and cannot follow the necessary strategies for managing risks, stop-loss techniques, using analytical and technical analyses, controlling psychological errors, considering and managing risks, and many other aspects that must be accounted for. In that case, they will lose their capital, and they may exit this market quickly. So of course, understanding cryptocurrency, its risks, and self-education are among the most crucial preventive measures that are advancing in this field.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qubic coin selling on: May 16, 2024, 04:18:53 AM
Try trading on SafeTrade to see if your region is available for this exchange, but I am not sure about the reputation of this exchange as I am new to it now.

And try to look at some exchanges that have QUBIC trading maybe besides Gate.io there are other exchanges you can do.
SafeTrade's reputation does not seem to be good. After conducting some simple research, it became clear from the reviews of its previous customers on the rating platforms that it is poor. I do not see well-known exchange platforms in Qubic markets other than Gate.io.

So, here's an idea: if an OP finds a buyer for this currency, I can assist with the [Bptrades Escrow Service]. The buyer will receive Qubic coins, and he will receive USDT, or he can wait until it's listed on other popular CEX platforms.  However, the OP must ensure that the Qubic coins that he has are the original ones listed on CMC and not a not fake ones.
134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Alert] MetaMask Drained by phishing. on: May 16, 2024, 03:22:22 AM
The Galxe platform is well known, as everyone uses it to participate in airdrop campaigns and the Web3 community to earn Tokens, NFTs, and OATs. However, when it comes to emails related to this platform, you must be very careful because if your email is somehow exposed, the scammer knows very well that you will not mind connecting your wallet and giving approval permissions to the malicious contract of the phishing site that he sent through the fake email by enticing you to claim a currency.

Despite your loss, you are lucky because the ETH on the C-Chain wasn't drained. I hope you succeeded in revoking your wallet for both affected blockchains. Once again, refrain from opening any links through your email, especially if you're connected via your phone. It's best to bookmark these links, whether they're for Galxe or any other platforms.
135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People are interesting talking more about their success stories. on: May 15, 2024, 09:36:38 PM
There is no successful person who has not experienced failure or loss. The nature of this volatile investment involves risks and financial losses. Some can reduce the risk rate; others face these risks without experience, financial management, etc., and fail. Most people talk about their successes and learn from their mistakes without having to disclose them because doing so may make them feel ashamed and lack experience. In addition, sharing failures might demoralize others, so they are focusing on spreading the positives of their journey and the success they achieved from their investments in cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin.

Indeed, learning is not just from a successful investment. You’re right OP; you can learn a lot from others’ past failures to avoid repeating their mistakes and shortcomings. In fact, even those who have fallen victim to scams, after they share their experiences and what happened to them, help others secure themselves against similar scams. If you use the search feature above, you’ll find many stories of members’ failures, and numerous articles from prominent investors and traders are available through search engines.
136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Join Our Fight Against Crypto Scams - Contribute to CryptoLinks.com! on: May 15, 2024, 07:21:06 PM
I took a quick look at the link to your platform, and what I found is that most of the memecoin projects and their official websites (not phishing links) have been listed, and the following was mentioned in Cryptolinks:

Usually, you get in this category because you are hiding your team, you have a bad reputation(you are tricking, deceiving, scamming people), and you haven't got a written project whitepaper or is a shitty one....

Meme coins are worthless, and indeed, these projects do not showcase the team behind them or publish a professional whitepaper or even a well-designed website. Perhaps most of these projects are rugpulls and scams, but you, in the current listing criteria on your platform, will put all the memecoins in the category the same way. You should support your claims about scam projects with evidence and references, as suggested by previous members. Also, I think having all platforms and projects in one category is not ideal. It would be better to create categories for each type of scam, such as phishing links, memecoin projects, exchange platforms, Ponzi schemes, etc.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 15, 2024, 02:57:39 PM
If you really want to make some profit with meme coins, find them on Coingecko and research. Now I'm not advising you all to do the same as me but I'm just sharing what I do when investing in meme coins.
Finding the correct memecoin to invest in through Coingecko isn't that simple because you might come across a coin with a similar name that's not the original. Notably, listings on Coingecko are free, so any project owner can list his currency by filling out one of the forms containing details of the currency project. Even trending coins on X might be surrounded by numerous impersonation accounts, scams, and malicious smart contracts.

You'll be lucky if you find the official project account on X and Telegram and invest early.  My point is that investing in these useless memecoins relies heavily on luck and requires deep research that takes considerable time and effort. There are no guarantees of making a profit from them or that the memecoins you invest in will reach the ranks of WIF or BONK. Ect. Therefore, don't set your expectations too high or let others mislead you into these highly risky investments.

139  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removed my red trust on: May 15, 2024, 02:07:02 AM
LMAO, I just visited reputation board this minute and realized that OP also made a thread about this... thing.

Ironically, what OP tried to do gave the exact opposite of what he aimed for. He tried to disprove that he's part of a campaign abuser and multi-accounter, yet he somehow [I believe mistakenly] PMed me and made a fuss about it, though the one exposing and mentioning his name is Albon[...]
Very funny. When the OP gave up sending me private messages on the forum and Telegram, and after I blocked his accounts on Telegram and stopped newbies from sending me PMs on the forum, he also started bothering you. It is worth noting that he admitted to his actions on Telegram but denied his involvement in cheating in this thread.

Transferring tokens from one wallet to another doesn't necessarily make him a cheater, but when someone makes dozens or hundreds of transactions using the same wallet addresses, sends fees, and then joins a campaign with these wallets, a check on Ninjastic will easily reveal his alt accounts and entries in the spreadsheet.

I already know that he has a farm of alternative accounts, but I only tagged the accounts that he used to cheat in the Vone campaign since I was responsible for payments after the incident that occurred. And, of course, If I accept his apologies and forgive him, he will undoubtedly use his account to cheat in other bounty campaigns managed by different campaign managers, which would be unfair to the other tagged accounts used for cheating. I really don't understand why OP insists on keeping this account despite having multiple newbie accounts. Did he have good memories of earning money dishonestly through this account?  Cheesy
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notcoin Mining on: May 14, 2024, 12:58:17 AM
You, OP, seem to be among the first people to discuss the Notcoin bot here. Congratulations to you and all the first participants and miners who worked on mining this coin several months ago. I hope you can successfully claim the airdrop and, once trading opens, achieve good returns.

I missed out on this coin because I didn't know about it earlier, but I believe there are more opportunities and fresh clicker apps like this. Telegram Apps Center posted about these fresh apps for those who missed out on Notcoin, like me. Check out the attached image; there are many Telegram bots to earn game tokens and more rewards. However, it's hard to predict which upcoming project might be the next big one after Notcoin.
