I was just browsing on social media and someone posted an image of KFC Canada's tweets. It's funny on how they market bitcoin chicken bucket.  Grin

I really don't know if that is true but if that happens,I think it is a good idea maybe for that country. It means that in the future we can use bitcoin already for transporting and buy anything we wants just like money.well, thats nice if thats happened.

I like the sense of humor of the admin of their account.

Check their twitter account https://twitter.com/kfc_canada it's verified.

They are also live of facebook https://www.facebook.com/KFCCanada/videos/1758453490840478/

124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 09, 2018, 02:11:29 PM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
If I have a lots of bitcoin, why not!I should say Yes!because helping people is not so bad especially to those whom in need much.it is a very good idea but it depend upon the situation of being a bitcoiner.if it is much, fine but if it is only a little that i have I'll give maybe just a little bit also.because its better to give than to recieve.God knows every thing that we've done in every person and i know that God will change what ever we done in a good way.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government put on tax on bitcoin on: January 07, 2018, 10:59:20 AM

126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 07, 2018, 10:52:08 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

Yes!bitcoin is also a money.in other countries this kind of currency was already been used to any transactions and transportations anyway.and we here in the Philippines bitcoin is money also because bitcoin can transfer to our own currency as peso.thats why I can says that bitcoin is a money.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: January 06, 2018, 10:15:01 AM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
yes because it have a powerful communities also bitcoin cannot fall down by the other currency bitcoin is never surrender and never give up that the bitcoin strength. Bitcoin will be stand up until the end of the world.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: January 06, 2018, 10:10:34 AM
    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
teach them by the goods of bitcoin and then teach them that bitcoin can be use for their future also they got a income when they got to learn bitcoin say to them that bitcoin is not use in crime.
    129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I hold BTC 0.05 for future ? on: January 05, 2018, 10:05:24 AM
Dear audience I have 0.05 BTC should I hold it for future value ? In recent time the market is very dumping so that feeling little scared.
The amount is not very necessary I can hold it if the market will raise
i think its better for u to invest it as it for your future and also you can add it more if you want to hold so its better to add that btc for your future and for your family not only you saved more for your family or else for your future family.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 05, 2018, 10:01:21 AM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet.begitu also with bitcoin which also used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
i dont think so but if it use by criminals its not good we need to be careful to all users dont use bitcoin to crime because karma is always there to revenge us just use bitcoin as a good influence say no to crime.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2018, 06:15:20 AM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: January 03, 2018, 09:53:59 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
yes thats the expectation of many users so i ithink that thing to to be come granted so bitcoin never dies and always stay at our sides bitcoin never say goodbye no matter what happen bitcoin after 100 years is still growing and rise for the next generation.
    133  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm still confused? on: January 03, 2018, 09:51:05 AM
For the  first time, when I move to cryptocurrency world (March 2016) the btc price were around $400... it was risen up to $17000 few days ago... 17000/400 x 100 = it's 4520% growth in 21 months.

There's a popular statement such as, the thing what it is existing next to the risk is the success.

Should I believe it and do what I didn't do 21 months ago?

now bitcoin is too expensive but if you buy bitcoin now i think there is nothing to worry about bitcoin because bitcoin nevers fail users so you are have a 100% positive better voming life.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: January 03, 2018, 09:35:42 AM
After spending much time as a guest on this forum learning all I can about Bitcoin, I finally decided to join. Glad to be here and thanks for all the great advice along the way!

Now I have a question I'd like to ask. Is Bitcoin going to get to the point where it is too big to fail? The government bailed out Wall Street to avoid a financial collapse. Can Bitcoin gain the same status as Wall Street? The market cap is steadily increasing making it a big player in the game and I'm looking forward to where it is headed.

    Thanks in advance!
no its a big not because bitcoin never to give up and also bitcoin is not in fail but cause it is it the powerful crypto currency ant i thought it is running to become a world one currency so bitcoin no to that big fail.

136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 11:26:38 AM
    Hey everyone
I was mining just for fun when in 2013/14 mining with a gpu was still viable. Since that day im wondering if it is too late to get involved in bitcoin even though I stopped thinking about it for a few years since I was about 15 years old with different things on my mind. Just recently I began wondering again: Is it too late to get involved in bitcoin? After the price blew up in 2014 I asked me the same thing and thought the hype is over and I am just too late. Even if bitcoin is a bubble and each bitcoin is overvalued who can safely tell when the bubble is going to pop if it ever will? I just think this is an awesome project with an equally awesome community despite the weird things in the altcoin section that tend to become more and more popular due to "weird" people picking up on the bitcoin hype caused by media and the increased internet awareness. Im talking about projects like "bigboobscoin" which is topped by some emojis in the title. Since I came along this project I want to own one of the 21M bitcoins to ever be created. In addition bitcoin has something magical to it which I cant put in words but the fact that satoshi never got identified gives me this feeling of a revolution of currency with the right intension. He never pulled out his round about 1 million btc. Well who knows maybe Satoshi is dead by now and his btc will never be touched. Bitcoin came out of the mind of a genious and is so much more worth than only "going to the moon".

Im just wondering if bitcoin and its community still got the same spirit or have the weird people and rich investors overtaken to ruin this project by treating it like a pump and dump shitcoin without a soul?
I hope my english is good enough to make you understand my thoughts and feelings.

    Have a nice day.

yes ofcourse  you con involve bitcoin right now there is no late perso to involve because theres no time to be late about bitcoin any time you can enter on it so you are not late or else no one can late if about bitcoin community you can join us everytime any where.

139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money, is Faith on: December 30, 2017, 10:45:02 AM
I think we should not value Bitcoin by Money, but by faith. Just hold and let it change the world.
Yes that's true, don't let bitcoin valued by money but by the faith , just focus only in your dreams, dont rush things , just wait until you succeed in life just like on bitcoin, become an successful person by your own, not the others.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 30, 2017, 10:38:48 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Well it's up to you and it is depending in your own situation but for my own self opinion,it is better to save money on bank because if you needed money and you have nothing left on your pocket, well you have money on bank to withdraw.
