double sided cooling! thats awesome!
123  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4x Chilli - [CHEAP] - [USB Miner] on: May 22, 2014, 02:06:38 AM
Have you tried flashing them with the newest firmware? FYI, YMMV but I've found that they hash close to 30gh's, draw about 120watts and run MUCH cooler with the new firmware.

If your not interested in messing with them I'd offer .21 for them with fans/heatsinks plus shipping (assuming your in the USA).
124  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4x Chilli - some defective on: May 21, 2014, 09:32:58 PM
thats not cool. How long have you had them?
125  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS several 400+ GH/s Hashfast Babyjet bitcoin asic miners! on: May 21, 2014, 09:30:23 PM
1 for 1BTC sounds good to me too!
126  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Older Mining Hardware (2 ghash/sec+) on: May 20, 2014, 12:35:38 AM
Gamefixer - I think I'd be comfortable paying 0.15 BTC for the pair (plus shipping to the US).

Sticking with my original amount.
127  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Older Mining Hardware (2 ghash/sec+) on: May 18, 2014, 02:11:53 PM
Oh yeah, I certainly don't expect anyone to send me their hardware for free.  I'm just hoping someone out there has some stuff they're not making good use of and is willing to pass it along at a fair price.  I understand that it's a bit of work but I'm hoping it'll be worthwhile for someone out there who isn't getting full use of their hardware to move it to someone else for a bit of money.  I'll let you know if I'm interested in the HEX16A2s Smiley

Make me an offer for the 16's, no harm can come of that. I've got to make some room for some other miners anyway which means these will have to be moved (to the interior of their host PC probably) so one way or another I've got to unplug them soon.  Cheesy

I get what your saying. I had 13 Ant's at one point and got rid of all of them and started fooling with Chili's and these Hexminers. So I do understand where your coming from but I'm still not going to give these things away. $50USD shipped to the lower 48 is the best I'll do.

BTW, anyone with Chili's should flash them with MrTeals latest firmware. I'm getting the same hashing rate out of the 4 boards I have but they run way cooler. bfgminer used to have them topping out at 70c now they top out at 55c. I have not checked power consumption but in the thread that has the firmware posted MrTeal says they use less power after being updated.
129  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buying Antminer S1 Coupons on: May 17, 2014, 01:59:30 PM
How does one sell coupons they have on bitmaintech? I've got 11 coupons but dont know how to sell them.
130  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB Antminer S1, Offering. on: May 17, 2014, 10:14:52 AM
^AMD cards die within a year of constant mining sometimes longer and they are better engineered than these ants

I've got two AMD cards that have been mining since Aug2009 and are still mining to this day. All I've ever had to do with them is replace the fans.
131  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Older Mining Hardware (2 ghash/sec+) on: May 17, 2014, 10:10:30 AM
IE someone that received a BFL Jala on time made their money back a longggggg time ago and are probably keeping them as a collectors item or just running them for fun nowadays. With that being said they have very limited reasons to go through the hassle of selling and shipping them for dirt cheap.

This. Honestly its more trouble for me to box up the two HEX16As and sell them than it is to leave them where they are.
132  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Older Mining Hardware (2 ghash/sec+) on: May 17, 2014, 02:18:56 AM
Interesting.  So you're looking for 0.250BTC for the both of them shipped to lower 48?  Is that your best price keeping in mind that Antminers are going for ~0.4BTC now?

Yeah, I think I'm going to stick to my stated price point.

Ant's are coming way down man.... Guess they really need to get rid of them.  Grin
133  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: Older Mining Hardware (1 ghash/sec+) on: May 17, 2014, 12:50:44 AM
Some Bitburner Fury's or HEX16A2s would also be nice, if anyone is selling!

Depending on where you are located I've got two HEX16A2s I can sell. .125BTC (roughly $50USD) each shipped to lower 48 UPS ground.

I will tell you this much about them. The Hexminer software that runs in windows SUCKS. There is a version of cgminer that runs in Windows that will work with these things but it craps out too. I've heard that the linux version of cgminer works great with these things but I have not tried it yet.

I'll do escrow but you need to arrange it and pay the fees.

So tempted to jump on this but its been so nice and quiet in the warehouse the last few months (sold the 12 Ants I had about two months ago).

Hmm....

How much for all shipped to US 75071?
138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: April 11, 2014, 12:54:54 PM
So MrTeal. What are the chances of reviving this Chili I have that has LED's 5-8 stuck on upon power up?

Thanks for the help!
139  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: April 07, 2014, 07:26:39 AM
At 6.12G difficulty, is the Chili miner still making money on electricity, at say $0.13 / kWhr?
Yeah, it won't be until after 10B that you might want to tune it down. I should post up another FW here that limits the voltage to ~1V to get the power consumption down to the 130W range at the expense of a few GH/s. It's probably actually more profitable, and would extend profitability (@$450) for $0.13/kWh out to about 18B. I'll do that tonight for you guys.
A little late, but technically I haven't slept yet, so it's still tonight.

I just did a test with four random units, and I'm getting 119GH/s with 483W draw at the wall on 120V. HW error rates also look pretty nice, at 0.1%
I've updated the second post.

Any change in temp?
140  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: April 05, 2014, 07:01:34 PM

Shorting the middle pins just resets the MCU. The four LED code indicates that the main 1V power supply for the ASICs has had a failure or an issue turning on. When you say it would eventually go sick and go dead, how long is eventually?

It would mine for about 15 minutes then go sick. Another 10-15 minutes later it would go dead.

And thanks for the response.
