correct me if im wrong but maleware its generecly for executables in windows no? i mean the wallets are but its not kaspersky enough?
if not why do we need to protect from the case of reteiving passorws from the users and other stuff from enven pen drives with wallets (including the common coins ones) like doge ltc btc and a few more.

yes most of the malware are executable files in windows operating system but this doesn't mean that malware can't affect other operating system such as MAC and Linux Distro there are other malware and viruses that can also penetrate other operating OS the key is to make sure that we will not easily fall to the trap of this people who are taking advantage of newbies.
I hear more and more from people that they are exposed to harmful attacks. This has already become a part of the life of the Crypto-currency. And now we all need to be very careful not to fall into this trap

Yes this becomes the part of crypto currency involvement since we are dealing with digital world this means that you might be prone or be involve in harmful cyber attacks. But there are some ways to prevent or to avoid these peoples from fooling or hacking you around there are lots of ways you can easily setup some security measures and a counter measures incase you are under such attacks
However I also always try to crawl without javascript activation .. I think it prevents many attacks from happening. Unfortunately many sites need it, so exploring is more difficult. But we also have to be careful in every action that we take because this will also determine our future fate.

Yes most of the time malware and exploits are run or activated using a script or a backdoor script if we are not careful enough those malware might infect our device and steal the very information of us

123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: July 14, 2018, 05:16:30 PM
For me rhe best way to secure your crypto earnings and investment is by keeping it in a hardware wallet or a paper wallet.
The hackers couldn't access or use it unless they have your passphrase.

Yes right but not all people can afford one of the hardware wallets

Thank you very much. The information you provide is very good for me and for beginners to participate in bitcoin. This is a great help and it is very important to protect the bitcoin account. I have recently restricted the use of the third party service, as well as not click the links that are in my email.

Yes we should be more cautious in clicking spam links or email sent to our email account in this way we van help our self to prevent hackers

Super true, always think before clicking to avoid hackers. In addition make sure that everything will secretly keep by your own such as the private keys and the gadgets that you will be using.

Never save them in your computer make a separate drive for sving the srnsitive files
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: July 14, 2018, 11:36:04 AM
although I am still a jr member but trying to pursue this bitcointalk world, because for me every little job there will be a result, and I already feel the result, although not many but I prefer bitcointalk forums than on airdrop and bots are not clear about the project , project team, partners and advisers.
bitcointalk is a side business that promises big profits and I'm sure of it

Bitcointalk is not a business and not promising big profits why this is a forumof crypto people not a business this is only a gatewayfor people to get to know more on the cryptos and upcoming crypto, the bounty was just a little game of promotion done by the users or the crypto team and then pay the respective people who help them to promote their business
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit system -> People started sell it violating rules. What do you think? on: July 14, 2018, 11:32:38 AM
I think both options are not worth it. We can get merit if our posts are in good quality, it is hard to get merit but it's not impossible to get it. The flaws of merit system should be corrected. It's a quite big amount for me to buy merit then suddenly you will get banned because of this.

Yes you are right there are some flaws in the merit system, for the admin side they should think first of their system before implementing it and to the users side since this was implemented atleast don't be corrupted if you have merits to give because I think it is being selfish.

remedy me if im wrong yet maleware its generecly for executables in windows no? I mean the wallets are nevertheless its not kaspersky enough?

if not for what reason do we have to shield from the instance of reteiving passorws from the clients and other stuff from enven pen drives with wallets (counting the regular coins ones) like doge ltc btc and a couple of something beyond.
It's not only executable file in windows but also it is also in other forms mlwares can be more dangerous if it can be use in multi platform because it can adapt on different platforms
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: July 14, 2018, 02:29:05 AM
You can use hardware wallets. At least in is always closed and only you can access or open when you need.
Wallet hardware is good to use but most people do not want to spend money to buy. Free online wallet is more widely used although not as safe as wallet hardware but at least follow what the original poster says is guaranteed to be safe..

Yes you are right hardware wallet is a good option

HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
the fake site is: http://www.blockchain.ga/

then once you login to the fake site then the hacker or attacker will have now your credentials. Please always check for the green lock on the url bar and the word HTTPS in the link.

so this are some of the way to stop hackers to hack your bitcoin or crypto wallet. If you have other information then you can comment it down and lets help others.

I agree to all of these points. Another thing to make sure your cryptocurrency investment are safe is through personal protection. Never make too much of a noise for yourself in other to ward off suspicion around people who might take advantage of you. Be wary as always.

Absolutely right making noise about you will only help hackers to know you
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: July 10, 2018, 11:21:02 PM
Bounty is not yet dead why because there are lots of bounty hunter still participating in bounties here in this community the problem is that the ICO or the company sometimes they turn to scam or didn't reach the goal they intend to reach by thos mean the ICO is not getting successful.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit system -> Selling merit now. What do you think? on: July 10, 2018, 02:17:01 PM
There are advantages and disadvantages that the merit system gives to the community,

first in advantages is that it will train every users here in the community to post good and great article related to crypto currencies and this will help a lot of newbies in gaining knowledge.

More constructive post as what you said the lesser the shitpost.

the great thing is that you will be rewarded on what you contributed on the community.

and then here comes the problem due to merit system there are lot of people not getting a high rank,
the reason is that the giver of merit not seeing them why?
1. The author is not that popular (Jr.mem or lower ranks)
2. The authors post is not inclined with the community wants because most of the community users
always talks about "if you have 1 btc what will you do?" this is kind a redundant and shit post.
3. The author doesn't give enough information.
4. the Post reach is quite too low.
5. The giver of merit are getting corrupt because they own multiple accounts so instead of sharing the merit to another user they just sent it to their other account.

All in all the merit system has it's own advantages and disadvantages. but this is a head start for great community i hope that the administrators will improve this system for better and greater community of bitcoin and crypto people.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: July 10, 2018, 02:01:35 PM
For me it seems qiute simple. You just need to follow simple rules and be careful with your passwords and keys. Try to store your coins on the different wallets and diversify your portfolio.

yes you are right we need to do portfolio managing in able to lessen the risk of losing of our funds, because in case one of our wallet got penetrated we have a back up.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: July 10, 2018, 12:45:23 AM
The software of hackers is improved every hour with this you can not argue, so as not to become a victim of a hacker, observe simple rules.
1. Update the antivirus in time
2. Enable Auto-update of the system and all important programs (Browsers, Java script, etc.)
3. Buy a good router
4. Or as an option to use for Linux wallets

Great suggestion linux wallet and linux os is great but there are othee attacks like spoofings to inject malware in the users machine to avoid getting hack I will add make aure you are connected to a secure DnS servers  this will also add a little security in you machine.

looks like another scam project that was managed by tokensuite.  Man, all these fake ICOs are making me sad.  They just steal money from everyone and make people lose faith in crypto.

yes tokensuite are not verifying the project  they are managing

It is not only the new folks that should read this, I think every one should remind themselves of this instructions. temerity can catch up with any one if not careful.
Since I've been here for so long I've gain experience and knowledge of their works. We could really stop them but it's not easy because they will force their will to get what they want. You must stand firm and don't you ever give any information about your account to avoid them. Any form of mistake is their weapon so be smart enough.

yes right there sir ever form of mistake is their weapon another advice is never get hook with this strangers any personal information you give to them is a wrong idea never trust someone in the internet all of people in the internet are strangers no matter what Smiley and the fact that you are in the jungle there are so many people who will do anything they can just to get what they want even it means to steal from someone

I can see many new projects that are obviously pumped or spammed with nonsense posts and this is mostly done by newbies. I am curious because those spams did bumped their threads but it is negating prospect investors after seeing that nearly all posts are nonsense.

absolutely yes sir I hope admins will not  tolerate spamming of fake accounts
