121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 22, 2016, 07:54:00 PM
The wall was for exactly 1000 btc. We need higher prices to see more impressive walls.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: November 19, 2016, 07:12:57 PM
Without volume the data is not significant.  Calling a trend or analysis on a lack of trading seems a shot in the dark.    Mostly I see people call out  volume events such Trump surprise election, then they call a trend on the difference from the last big event/volume

Maybe this way my point is easier to understand.

123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 19, 2016, 07:06:17 PM
anyway back on topic:

Based on the weekly stoch RSI: This is either about to shoot way past ATH or about to crash hard, one or the other, but I can't tell which. I guess this analysis doesn't help me much.

I suspected that if we passed 750 it would be the start of the ramping up and FOMO, but it is looking lacklustre.

Maybe it is unmentionable OT uncertainties (ahem...) maybe it's just not going to happen but the cup and handle looked perfect and the rise has been steady for a year.  I really thought it would be around now we'd see the new 2013-style run, but it's awfully quiet out there.

I was thinking (as were many) that a run up was inevitable.  Now I haven't a clue... The conditions are good, so why is nothing happening?  A crash would no longer surprise me either, this is Bitcoin, after all.

It starts slow only to pick up steam. Volume is showing good signs, constantly increasing on the weekly time frame.

The only wall I see is on btc-e at 745 for around 1.1k.

Better stash on the popcorn for the next weeks.

Gold/Bitcoin ratio

What does this chart tell us? Someone please share an opinion

It looks like bitcoin is trending against gold, and it looks about to accelerate.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: PnF TA on: November 18, 2016, 03:26:55 PM
I like what I'm reading, it's pretty much what I've been thinking as well. ETH dooming. XMR is between support and resistance, but a break down will likely take it to the .004 zone.

Cheers!
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: November 18, 2016, 03:23:07 PM
Actually, imo, triangle has never been valid. Triangles only correct, on low to no volume at all. They don't trend, which is what bitcoin's been doing lately, which is easy to see if you're looking at the volume profiles.
I wonder how this works because its only with volume confidence in the data is there.    Obviously if 1 sale occurs at 100 and 500 sales occur at 800 even if the low price was the most recent we can be fairly sure that 800 is still the most significant price.   Drawing the conclusions from the periods of lower volume would break from chart analysis Ive seen done previously

I honestly don't understand what you meant to say. Could you maybe rephrase?
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: PnF TA on: November 16, 2016, 08:18:01 PM
It dumped just when I posted - the re entry signal was 4850.

Long.

Triple top break on the weekly chart?
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: November 16, 2016, 03:03:10 PM

triangle still valid on US exchanges, technically its a triple top

"Lots of people are bullish right now, and that makes me skeptical a bit. I am always cautious of frenzy and irrational exuberance, for when an unexpected move unravels."

The only people who are still bullish are the speculators that managed to escape a death by boredom. For now.

What frenzy and irrational exuberance? There's like 5 posts per day on the wall observer thread, if that doesn't help one gauge market sentiment, I don't know what does.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: September 07, 2016, 08:38:42 PM

Pretty straight forward: price is above SMA20 meaning that it's in the positive BB territory. That's a bullish indicator. Bands are also expanding, meaning that the upper band is not such a tough resistance as it would be if they were contracting.

Moreover, price is above all other important SMAs, 10 and 50, and we see that SMA10 was actually tested and didn't break. This means that the path of least resistance is up, which means one should expect higher prices until the situation changes.

As I said, NXT will slaughter XMR:

At 50% (double bottom break), XMR will colapse relevant to NXT.

One more Proof of Concept delivered in public here.

15th August subscription status freezes...

Gotta necro this. Any update on the XMR/NXT RS chart?

134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: August 05, 2016, 07:52:42 AM
Blue I stands for the 32$ peak, so the following II stands for the 2$ bottom since I don't have the Gox data superimposed on the chart. It'll do like this.

Master, if you would be so kind to offer your opinion regarding my questions?
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: August 03, 2016, 11:29:58 AM
Long term bullish picture looks good. Need wait until december.

I like these arcs so far. However need some more downside...

Masterluc, how are you counting your green i? I can't see 5 waves that adhere to the EW rules in there. Either that, or green ii goes below the start of green i, which makes it invalid?

This is my count, a bit more bullish medium to long-term, less bullish in the very long-term.

136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: July 27, 2016, 06:58:00 AM
The immutable proof-of-work chain is the real Ethereum, doesn't really matter that it's called "Classic".

Quote
ETH price goes down hard while it has majority of power. And ETC price doing versa up, while ETC fork has 10% of power. Miners support ETH while speculants - ETC. ETH schizophrenia is in progress. I think "They" want to make some expirement with Bitcoin. They were almost succeed with it with Mike Hearn. But community kicked them out.

I'm not sure miners will support ETHF. Miners support what is more profitable, and if ETC rises, miners will switch for higher profit margins. Sure, some miners had selfish interests in mining ETHF as they were invested in the DAO shit storm, but everyone else will just follow profitability.

I agree regarding speculators: for instance I haven't owned a single ETH, but I was and am willing to support ETC with my liquidity, just because immutability and crypto are indistinguishable. Those who attempt to sever this "holy" tie should be (financially) punished by the crypto community in order to set a perfect example of what happens to those who try.

an hour and 19 minutes since the last block. They are averaging 23 minutes per block and they're all full.

this will cause the price to slump, which will kick more hashpower off the networks, causing further backlogs and higher fees in a viscous feedback loop. I told you bastards this would happen.

it's the Fullblocalypse!!

Lots of people using Bitcoin? Bearish!

There, I fixed it for you.

Investing in NAUT is no different than investing in any other altcoin at any random time. FYI: "all in" is mandatory only if you're 100% sure the asset will perform as planned (possibilities for this is: equal to NEVER). Don't go full retard. EVER.

True for 99% of the times. There is that other time when a select few control the entire supply side of a "coin" and you have the insider info...

Hmm, while I used to enjoy most of your comments back in the beginning of 2014, I came to realize that you're the perfect contrarian indicator. So basically now that you're screaming "SELL!!! ZOMG BITC0IN DEDD!!!", buying in seems to be the best decision one can take.

Cheers!
