Nevermind, that tweet is from some different Fluttercoin account, I don't think that's the official one.

From Fluttercoin twitter

"Fluttercoin to be redeveloped. Price will be fixed to real world assests. And new ways to pay. Android and SMS wallets."

Can we get some more detail on what this new stuff is? What does redeveloped mean? All our old coins will still be legit right?

At the risk of being annoying, would anybody be able to briefly detail the pros and cons of proof of transaction as implemented by fluttercoin.  It seems innovative and could potentially solve a number of issues that the proof of work coins are running into now.  People seem to be writing it off though because fluttercoin hasn't been crypto fad of the month yet, but I don't know enough to comment.

Kidcoin can explain better but from what I understand, PoT adds another layer of security for the blockchain which is always a good thing. As for the cons of PoT, I really don't know of any? Who wouldn't want a chance to gain more coins just for trading the coins you already own ?

Wow, so we are almost back to where we first started price wise when the coin first started out. It sat below 200 for a few weeks before that first pump came in. I have really lost faith in crypto world when a coin that brings something new to the table that works for everyone, seller and buyer with PoT, people still rather put their money into shit coins that offer nothing useful at all. I have been holding since the beginning and will continue to hold and if the coin does indeed die, then so be it. I don't think it will ever just completely die out. The coin is only 3 months old and that's a lot longer than some of these other coins have lasted or will ever last.

We really should get that top 100 / 200 rich list back up b/c I am curious to see how many millionaires there are still out there or if most have indeed dumped their coins.

Wow. I have never used cryptsy before. What update are they talking about? The one that changed PoT a long time ago? That is strange.

I cant lie, I am secretly hoping it stays under 400 until monday when I get my BTC from coinbase haha. Should be able to scoop up a lot at that price.

i sent a pm to unick a few days back about a block explorer, see cap.blockx.com or hbn.blockx.com.

his rate is .75btc, I can setup a flt address and we can begin the donation.  The .75 pays for 6 months of hosting, after this we'll need to pass the hat again.

anyone interested?

fairglu can make a very nice explorer + richlist and host it. It costs around 0.02 BTC for 2 months hosting + the work.

Im willing to throw in some FLT if some other people will if we can get that up, that seems like a good price.

What exactly is a block explorer ? Is that the same as thing as http://explorer.fluttercoin.us/ ?

Exactly, people saw that rocket price in dark coin and now everyone wants the same thing

Ya, not sure why everyone is jumping on the anon train. I don't see any real purpose for anonymity. I can sort of understand maybe some businesses don't want other competitors to know what they are buying if they were buying with say BTC, but even then, they would have to get someone to find out BTC address and start tracing every transactions etc. and even though its not impossible, it seems like not really worth it. I don't really think any anon coin is really going to go main stream like BTC b/c the media and governments are going to do nothing but claim its for money laundering, child porn, drugs, guns, basically anything illegal and therefore having them banned or something else. It took a while for bitcoin to finally come out of the whole silkroad fiasco and now with more anon coins emerging, I just think they will forever be linked with illegal activity.

I still vote for anon features though, probably an option to send it anonymously or the standard, I reckon it will surely help flutter in the short run.

If it would be possible to have an option to send anon or not, that would be pretty cool. I don't code though so I have no idea how hard that would be to do or not.

And some good news

https://twitter.com/thekidcoin/

The #Fluttercoin Android wallet - the first android wallet ever to incorporate PoS and PoT is in final testing for impending release.

Progress has been made in implementing the Blake-256 algo into http://fluttercoinpool.com  #Fluttercoin mining pool.

#Fluttercoin now has merchants, and we are working on adding additional merchants - this is a top priority to obtain additional merchants

#Fluttercoin is preparing to roll out some important protocol changes. Including PoT rewards via PoS blocks, and shorter PoS maturity.

Lastly, the protocol changes are a game changer with many more PoT reward opportunities, as well as linear PoS interest and faster maturity

So why is the market not reacting? I'm confused here should i hold or not? are more features coming? maybe the market only wants anon coins

people are still speculating on anoncoins. Smiley i reckon a 30% bump in price would get us going again.

What is the advantage of game changing protocol changes? I don't have PhD here. Cannot see the advantages, or i'm missing something here.

Wow. So we will get even more coins via PoS with PoT, thats awesome and another first of its kind. Then a shorter PoS age to go on top of that, things are looking better and better everyday.

As for the anonymity part, it may help the coin out b/c it seems like thats what a lot of people want, but I don't really care either way. It may make money laundering easier but if someone really wanted to launder money, all they would have to do is take the BTC and buy a bunch of litecoin or something, then sell that litecoin back to BTC. Would just cost some money in fees but i'm sure they wouldn't care. Or they can use a regular BTC tumbler etc.

Also just seen the price has dipped back below 400sat. If I HAD to sell my FLT, theres no way I would sell below 500 and thats still incredibly undervalued.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT Proof Of Transaction Cash Back for Sending & Recieving on: June 04, 2014, 09:44:10 PM
How come nothing more happened with this coin after that one pump on mintpal weeks ago?

it wasn't a pump, the coin was near 3000 sat - then it dipped a little and a bunch of people bailed, plus PoW mining dumping was killing the market.

Its poised to make a comeback, there is some new developments brewing with the coin itself, that will make it even more attractive.  Details to be released soon.

Mmmmm, me like new developments  Grin

Is it true what I hear? Anon features coming to fluttercoin?

Where did you hear this?

guys i have about 1000 FLT with 30334 confirmations in my wallet. haven't seen any PoS. I encrypted and unlocked it. Still not staking because no mature coins. Pleaaase any advice? How many confirmations are needed? i'm waiting over 30 days!

and could anyone confirm that PoS is active in the online wallet? if so i just put my coins there. thx

Strange, my POS has been working for like 2 months now. Haven't tried the online wallet myself but I think if you sent the coins there, you will have to wait another 30 days. How much POS would you get from 1000 coins? Can't be that much huh?

yeah i have the newest mac wallet. and i want my PoS, no matter how little it is Cheesy i have a little blackcoin and it works very well. so any tricks to solve the problem?

Ah ok, I don't use the mac wallet. Maybe Kidcoin can chime in or some other people using the mac wallet?

I just ordered some gold with my FLT, how cool is that!

You sound like Les Gold Smiley

Haha, except I don't try to rip people off.

Can anyone give me a hand with getting x11 working for the fluttercoin multipool? Am running r9 290 but getting nothing but hardware error's and rejects. Can someone post their batch file here? Scrypt is working fine but really want to move to x11.

Same here.

Please share .bat file, my sgminer crashes when I start it. Here's my bat file:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o
stratum+tcp://fluttercoinpool.com:5555 -u
myFLTaddress -p mypassword -I 13
-g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1090 --gpu-memclock 1600

Cheers

For starters i would remove the part that states --kernel darkcoin

This part works with all my other X11 coins I've been mining with, but thx for help

My sgminer will do nothing but H/W errors if I take out --kernel darkcoin so I leave it on.

I have a r9 280x but these are my settings.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://fluttercoinpool.com:5555 -u FLTADDRESS -p 1 -I 18 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --shaders 2048 --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1500

Sometimes its weird though, I will get amd driver crashes when I go to startup sgminer. What I found that works for some reason is the first thing i'll open up before running sgminer is cgminer on a scypt pool. Let it max out on hash then close it, then startup sgminer. It never crashes after that.
