I think in contrast to you, I personally appreciate the impact of the ETF more than the halving. But in the end it's all just news for sharks to legitimize their manipulation. To me, the movement of bitcoin or the cryptocurrency market is still more manipulated than based on supply and demand and that's why I don't put much hope in the big events that most people expect.
ETF won't have more impact than the halving. In fact, to be it's ETF that has the more shot term increase. Even before the EFT approval, I predicted this to happen. I knew it would have an impact and bitcoin price will increase but in a short period, there will be a correction. With the halving prive goes up over time, not over a short period of time like it was after ETF approval. This has always been the behaviour of bitcoin during each halving, not like it's a certainty, there would be no risk if it was certain, but there a very high percent chance of it happening. What makes this year's halving more unique is that the ETF approval has created more awareness to bitcoin, so that means more investors and more investors means more buying and higher price increase. Corrections, when it comes to bitcoin are a normal thing. When bitcoin is manipulated, it usually has a short term effect before it corrects, but when it was determined by market forces and other economic and financial factors that affect the players, it's happens steadily. Bitcoin price is hardly ever stable for a long period of time. It can only revolve around a certain range like how it was on 65 - 69 recently before finally breaking away to >70k. It's okay to have your own investment style and trust your decision, but it not right to based it totally on a bunch or feeling. Intuition is good, but don't base your whole investment on that alone. It's common knowledge that with bitcoin, long term investment is best, and this is a proven fact. If bitcoin price drops to 50k from 72 today, all you gotta really do is hold for much longer. The halving story is not new and we have mined over 19 million bitcoins and have just over 2 million bitcoins left unmined. Halving will still be a notable and meaningful event for bitcoin but I think what bitcoin needs more is its legitimacy and popularity. Scarcity is useless if the demand for it does not increase, and to be able to make the demand increase sharply. And to achieve global adoption, legitimacy is absolutely necessary and that is why I value ETFs over bitcoin halving at this stage. People have a habit and are too dependent on that habit of always thinking that bitcoin will increase in price after the halving, and because of that, many people who missed out on bicoin suddenly created a new ATH before the halving. Personally, I don't like being too rigid and always want to update and adapt to rapid changes. I believe that once the ETF is passed, everything will change and will be very different, it will no longer follow the old rules we used to know. Time will tell everything, who will be right and who will be wrong  . |

Girona are only 2 points behind Barcelona so it's not a big problem Girona are still playing well enough and they have the ability to do well this season. their team management is getting better due to which they are able to show better performance quickly. However, Real Madrid play much better than before and with enough good players in their squad, they are able to perform well on a regular basis. The POW projects I'm talking about are LTC, DOGE, KDA, NKN...these projects are suitable for short-term investments because they benefit from the bitcoin halving. |

It depends on how one views the market and for me, we are already in a bull market. But even though we are in a bull market, that doesn't mean bitcoin will never have a correction or decline. In a bear market there will also be times when bitcoin recovers and in a bull market there will also be significant corrections. So, don't be subjective in thinking that if we are in a bull market, bitcoin will never decline or correct.
In my opinion, when investing we just need to set goals, stick to the plan and only sell when bitcoin reaches the goal, don't think too much about when the bull season starts or when the bear season will come. Do you remember what happened when ETFs were approved? When people expected a big price increase after the ETFs were approved, bitcoin was dumped and if I remember correctly, it fell from $48k to $38k over a period of time. And it takes a while for bitcoin to rally and reach a new ATH of $73K, which is the scenario I'm talking about. I believe that in the next week we will soon see the price of bitcoin increase and there will even be a new ATH before the halving but after the halving, when people continue to be greedy and expect higher prices, bitcoin will be dumped price. Not to mention the curse of May is "sell in May", so I believe that after halving there will be a significant adjustment before bitcoin enters a stronger bullish cycle. IMO holding from ATH to ATH definitely is a great profit there. Although it requires alot of faith. This being that you trust that Bitcoin will hit a value with which you can have tangible profit regardless of the fact that you bought the coin at the highest price at a time. Still it's wisdom to still buy in-between, as the coin is cheaper then.
Bitcoin buyers from the previous ATH to the current ATH have clearly made quite a profit, because they are waiting for the next ATH every four years. Everyone can also continue to buy Bitcoin, especially when they see the price decline that occurred after the previous halving (2021). I am a bitcoin enthusiast and I wish to spend some of my bitcoins instead of fiat. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so because of its slow pace of acceptance in my country. I really want to promote the bitcoin circular economy but I can't. I dream of day in my country where I can earn in bitcoin and spend in bitcoin. I dream of the day where, even though I need to keep my bitcoin secure in a cold storage, I can still have say $100 worth of BTC in a hot wallet that I spend to buy goods and services from people who accept bitcoin. The idea will be to spend from this hot wallet for purchases while promptly replacing it. That is, after spending the $100, I simply buy another $100 worth of Bitcoin to refill the hot wallet. I remain optimistic that my dream will eventually come true in my country. In the meantime, I would be happy to hear the experiences of bitcoiners who are already living my dream bitcoin circular economy in their country. What is it like for you?
Bitcoin is not capable of fulfilling your dream because it's not ready for massive usage. Have a look at what happened when ordinals started minting NFTs on bitcoin blokchain. They were regularly minting and creating tons of transactions on bitcoin blockchain and this caused clogging of mempool. In result, we got enormously high transaction fees. Now imagine, if Bitcoin becomes popular (forget ordinal attack), how will you be able to pay with it? Massive adoption and usage means massive transaction fees since developers aren't going to increase bitcoin block size. It's easy to make that dream reality with centralized system inside the country but that's against the whole purpose of having a decentralized p2p currency. Even if bitcoin is used as a currency and replaces fiat, with the current fees per transaction, I really want to know how many people will use it for everyday transactions. Many people have the same dream as the OP, but they don't care what the pros and cons of the bitcoin network are and whether it is really suitable to become a currency. I even remember many people who were accumulating bitcoins also complained about bitcoin transaction fees being too high and that it was costing them quite a lot of unnecessary expenses. I still regret thinking about that day not long ago when Bitcoin was $24k. I had $800 worth of bitcoins and when Bitcoin hit $45K, out of necessity I sold $700. Fortunately, there were $100 worth of bitcoins left which is around $500 at this time. Now, every time I look at my wallet I feel sorry for my sold BTCs and I wish I had them too.
Overall, it's all about patience and having enough belief and also having enough funds in hand so that you don't need to sell your Bitcoin when you face an emergency like me. If none of this is the case, I would always advise people not to sell their BTC unnecessarily because Bitcoin is going to go up a lot, and we are just getting started, bull run is yet to come.
It's your fault, why don't you have money saved for emergencies and then when something happens to you, you have to reluctantly sell your bitcoins? Additionally, selling bitcoins to deal with emergencies is a good thing to do because if you don't have those bitcoins, what will you do to get through that situation?
