In terms of following the methods of successful people, it can be helpful to learn from their strategies and experiences, but it's essential to recognize that everyone's journey is unique. What works for one person may not work for another, so it's important to find your own path and approach that aligns with your values and goals.

Everyone's starting line is different, everyone's behavior and circumstances are completely different. Therefore, I am also completely against applying other people's methods to myself. It may work for them, helping them achieve success, but that doesn't mean that when we apply what they did, we will be as successful as them. There is no specific formula for success, everyone has their own way to be successful.

Like many people think that billionaires do not need to go to college to be successful and rich, but they don't know that these billionaires were born at the finish line, rich families while we have nothing to offer rely on. That's the funniest thought I've ever seen.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Effects of Cryptocurrency Adoption on: May 05, 2023, 11:59:57 AM
The effects of crypto currency adoption have various effects both positive and negative. Some potential benefits would include increased financial income, it might reduced also transactions fees, greater privacy, and security in financial transactions. On the other hand the negative effect of the adoption is the potential increased in criminal activities like hacking and scamming, also the environmental impact of the crypto currency mining. But of course the effects of crypto currency adoption will depend on how it is regulated and implemented.

As technology develops, criminals will also rely on it to operate more and more sophisticated. But before, when we were not much dependent on the internet, there was also a lot of crime and fraud, just because the social network was not developed, we heard less about it. So it cannot be said that cryptocurrencies increase crime. Moreover, any industry uses energy to operate, so it is natural for cryptocurrencies to consume energy. As long as it delivers the same value as other industries, it shouldn't be stigmatized. I'm not saying cryptocurrencies are perfect, we need fair judgment.

Sunrisers Hyderabad VS Kolkata Knight Riders
The 47th match of IPL Hyderabad vs Kolkata is going to start shortly. Kolkata won the toss and decided to bat. We can see last match Kolkata lost with Hyderabad. Kolkata has won 3 out of 9 matches so far.Hyderabad have won 3 out of 8 matches. Hyderabad point table 9 and Kolkata point table number 8. Today's match is playing at home in Hyderabad. Hyderabad will get a little more support from Kolkata.
Kolkata's batting is under a lot of pressure especially with the fall of four wickets due to which their pace is very low. Especially the batting is basically out now Sunrise Hyderabad team bowlers are performing quite well but their chances of winning at home ground are high today. Looking at the points table the two teams are equal on points but today Kolkata's performance is very poor. If you can take more than 200 runs, the game will definitely be a contest, but I think that since Sunras Hyderabad is very strong at home, Kolkata's bowling line is also very strong.

SRH currently needs 48 from 35. The required run rate is actually less than the current run rate of SRH. They also have 5 wickets in hand. That should be enough to win for SRH. But the thing is they have just lost a wicket. Probably that will help slow things down a little and KKR will surely want to take advantage of that. But I honestly do not think KKR is going to win. KKR needed at least 20 more to make this match interesting in my opinion.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 03, 2023, 07:13:49 PM
Elche, who has been confirmed to be relegated this season, lost again when they were guests in the match against Almeria with a score of 2-1 for the host's victory. Actually the match between the two teams was quite even, it's just that Almeria was far superior with lots of opportunities and that could be maximized for goals. For Almeria this victory is very important to keep away from the pursuit of the relegation zone, but even now their points in the standings are not necessarily safe because the 2 teams below have a difference of about 1 point and that could threaten Almeria's position if next week they fail to win.
Elche has no more hope of being in La Liga and they will spend the rest of the matches in disappointment, of course because they will be relegated. It will be a very long time for them to spend the rest of the match. Meanwhile, Almeria is still very much able to survive in La Liga and their victory in this match has temporarily moved them away from the red zone in the standings. They are 5 points ahead of the relegation zone limit now occupied by ESpanyol, in fact they are still not safe and require them to win a few more matches.

Elche was lucky to get even anything out of this match. I become a little surprised when I see they have had 14 shots in this match and only one of them had been on target and that only one which was on target was the goal. So what if they could actually shoot some more on target? That would have been interesting to see.

Anyway, they are certainly getting relegated this season. They haven't been able to play well in this season at all. They are even very far away when it comes to the difference in points with the team which is ahead of them. They are certainly going to spend the rest of the season being depressed. No motivation for them right now at all.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 03, 2023, 05:32:21 PM
The chances of Pakistan winning this match today are very low as the runs are very less if you review the past matches. Pakistan won by completing a basket of 336 runs but scored 287 runs in this match today so the run average is very low. However, in today's match, Pakistan's victory depends entirely on the bowling. If Ballara can show good performance then Pakistan can definitely win today's ODI match. But they will never want to miss a big chance in this match in New Zealand today, although their batting line-up is quite strong as the two opening batsmen are very dynamic players. New Zealand's run rate is much better than Pakistan's and they have scored much better runs in the power play.
Pakistan really good out there, but I have to admit that they were 15 to 20 runs short. If Pakistan had managed to set a target of around 300, I think that would be a lot more pressure on the Kiwi side. Still, Pakistan got a decent total and now it's all up to their bowlers. New Zealand's two opening batsmen are doing quite well at the moment. If Pakistan wants to take the series today, they'll need to manage to take some early wickets and make sure that no long-lasting partnerships develop for New Zealand.

Pakistan did set a target of 288. I think that is a decent target. Especially when we look at how they are performing on the bowling side. They have certainly kept New Zealand in check. Still, 14 overs left and New Zealand needs more than 8 runs per over from now on. The positive thing for New Zealand is that they have five wickets in hand. So they can accelerate toward the end of the innings.

But I do not know if five wickets are actually going to be enough for them to effectively accelerate towards the end. So far in this match, it looks like Pakistan is going to be able to win. New Zealand is basically under too much pressure and it seems highly unlikely that they will be able to handle it.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: May 03, 2023, 01:45:08 PM
I recommend to just using Trust Wallet as a temporary wallet if you are making a transaction. Don't use it as a wallet to keep your funds or do other activities such as staking. Look at it from a different perspective, to gain profits in a staking program means you will have to keep a lot of funds in a wallet which also means you are risking it two different ways. The staking and where you store it. Why not make the risk to just 1? Just the staking.
Use another wallet, a cold wallet to be precise, then look for ways to stake while you still have control.
Third-party applications will give you problems in the future because you will never know what could happen. Learn from the history of wallets that came out and are now gone.

Trust Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, but unfortunately, it is a closed source, so we don't know what will happen to our assets. I also advise OP not to use it to store large amounts of assets. Mainly for staking, we need to put our assets on centralized exchanges, and this is too risky for the reward we get. In short, don't store too many assets with trustwallet wallets and centralized exchanges.

If we have the conditions, a hardware wallet is a perfect choice, otherwise, we can use Electrum to store bitcoins and Metamask for altcoins. Stay away from custodial wallets and exchange wallets.

~snip~

Today, my school friend came to check on me and asked me to guide him about crypto investments. I am surprised that he knew about crypto scams, he seemed very cautious in comparison to those who wanted to make quick money.

As someone like that, he is unlikely to make any dumb mistakes as long as he is calm enough to learn everything possible about crypto.

Do you guide and impart crypto knowledge to him? I have never met such people, most of the people I meet always ask me how to get rich quickly, and they hardly think about the risks when investing. They always ask if the profit is high? How many days will they receive profits?... All those questions make me depressed, do not want to share anything with them. I reject most people who ask such crap questions. It's hard to find someone as careful as your friend, or he researched the market long before coming to ask you, but it also shows that he is a very careful person.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: May 03, 2023, 01:14:24 PM
Experience is always the best teacher. That doesn't mean that knowledge is not require or neccessary. Someone who has experience is far better than knowledge because experience is series of hard work and multiple mistakes. Experience is practically achieved and knowledge is mostly theorical.
In bitcoin investment, i d' rather go to someone with much experience because he has made a mistake before and learnt from them.
Experience is the combination of theoritical and practical learning, so both are required.

Knowledge is theory, but without knowledge, you cannot start, you cannot trade or invest. It can be said that knowledge is an extremely important foundation for any newbie, and experienced people are very knowledgeable. To be successful in any field, we need both and we must combine them flexibly to achieve the desired results. To be honest, I have never seen a successful investor or make a lot of money saying they have no knowledge, or no experience. Both are necessary and sufficient conditions for a person to be successful.
One with high experience has probably earned a lot of knowledge in the first place. So both of them, knowledge and experience are of high necessity particular if you aim for its best outcome. Though there could be highly knowledgeable individuals but with less experience, but you won’t hear highly experienced but are less knowledgeable. However, since we are talking about bitcoin learning, I would say both should be present, acquisition of knowledge first that would lead to more productive experiences.

Not only with bitcoin but any field, I think requires knowledge and experience. Both are important factors in determining the capacity of a person. The two will complement each other because sometimes, what we learn from knowledge will be a little different when applied in practice, so both need to be used flexibly to achieve the best effect.

As a newbie, I also think knowledge is the first thing they need because once they have basic knowledge, it will be easier to practice to gain experience than someone who has no knowledge but has entered practice.

Although i feel this all drama was created by Siraj when he started teasing Naveen (afg player) and Kohli as usual jumped, then it led to many things as Kohli is one passionate individual on the field, similar to Gambhir.
I do not think Siraj can be completely be blamed for this controversy. There are multiple versions related to this controversy. You cannot deny the fact that RCB bowling was at its best and so was the fielding. Defending such a small target is not that easy. That was the reason the LSG batter Naveen was pissed off. Siraj ne aur jala di uski Grin. Later that fight basically was hijacked by Kholi & Gambhir. These two have been know for their fights in the past. It first started in 2013 when Gambhir used to be part of KKR team.

I would say that these things happen from time to time in cricket. There is nothing to be worried about. There will probably be some internet and drama around this situation. Very soon people are also going to forget about this as well. This was basically the LSG players acting out of frustration. It was a very small total and they could not get to that total which was certainly frustrating for them. And that's why a simple thing has turned out to be such a big issue. And honestly, it wouldn't have been a big issue unless Virat Kohli jumped in and got involved.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 01, 2023, 08:02:57 PM
I still think about Tuchel in Munich. At the moment he is no better than Julian Nagelsmann. I think it looks worse. Of course it is difficult for this short time for Tuchel. He came in at the end of the season with some problems. Tuchel is actually a good coach, but in the Bundesliga he hasn't been able to show that. If he fails to win the Bundesliga, will he be fired?
Julian Nagelsmann had been interested in Chelsea, but he refused. Maybe he will go to Tottenham. I think Julian Nagelsmann's substitution for Tuchel was too hasty.
I think it's too early to judge Tuchel's performance with Bayern Munich, even though he didn't start off well enough because he failed to bring Bayern Munich to the UCL. But I think he will be able to make a change next season with Bayern Munich.  For now Tuchel is only thinking about being able to bring Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga Trophy. Thus I think that every upcoming match is like a final match for Bayern Munich in maintaining its ranking from their rival Dortmund.
Now about Nagelsmaan, he hasn't decided where he will go next, even though he is linked with a number of big teams, but I think he will choose and weigh to accept the right offer in coaching the next team.

The Bundesliga has already been proving to be a difficult place for Tuchel. He is actually fortunate that Bayern Munich has been able to regain the first position in this season's Bundesliga. Because if after 10 years Bayern Munich actually lost the title, which they might still do I think the coach would have been facing some real problems.

And I actually agree that this certainly was not any upgrade compared to the last coach that they had.

There will always be a question as to whether the replacement was a good one or not. To be honest, @ginsan is right, I also don't want to comment on this at this time since it is too early to provide any insight on it.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 01, 2023, 07:43:50 PM
There is only one game in the English Premier League today. Leicester City will play against Everton. Leicester City drew with Leeds United last week. The week before that they beat Wolverhampton. They earned 4 points from their last 2 matches. They've started to show some signs of life in recent weeks. On the other hand, Everton lost 4-1 to Newcastle United last week. They got their last win 6 weeks ago. Leicester City have performed better in recent weeks. In my opinion, they are the favorites in this match. If they win this match, they will have a chance to rise above the relegation zone.
Apart from Southampton that is a little bit lower in points, Leed United, Leicester City, and Everton all share almost the same point, two are the same and the other two are only a point apart, no matter how they play now, 3 of the teams from that four I mentioned will go to relegation and will be demoted back to smaller leagues and I'm more surprised about the team's performance because for the last 1 and half month, they don't have any other domestic league apart from Premier League but they have been losing matches since then and now that the end of the season is here, they are resisting relegation zone, maybe as you have said, Leicester will be free from that magnet if they win this match against Everton because they will be 16th place and fight for the rest of the remaining matches.

This match has already given us two goals. Both of the teams have scored in this match. The score is currently one-one. Everton is going to need to get a win from this match a lot more than Leicester City. I kind of understand why both of the teams have already scored. Both of them are going for the win. A win for either team is going to mean that they will get ahead in terms of points and also away from the relegation zone.

I can see, Everton is in the relegation zone so they will, of course, have to win. A draw is not going to be enough for them. On the other hand a draw is going to be good enough for Leicester City for now. But that is certainly not going to be the ideal result.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 30, 2023, 07:09:16 PM
It seems Atalanta is still having a hard time getting to a position that could give it a ticket to the Champions League even though Atalanta managed to win at home to Torino today. Because Atalanta still have to be able to win in the remainder of this season so they can beat three teams that already have the same points as AS Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Why is that, because Inter Milan immediately shot into the top four of the standings after being able to win over Lazio at home in today's match too. So that this opens up opportunities for Inter Milan to compete with Juventus and Lazio for a better position and secures itself to get a ticket to the Champions League again next season.
Inter Milan made it at Giuseppe Meazza even Lazio scored first but Inter Milan came back in the second half and won it eventually.
Serie A is very hot with its competition for last three positions in top four. The first position belongs to Napoli and will be unchanged but from Lazio to Atalanta, from the 2nd to 7th positions, only 6 points gap. Even Lazio at the 2nd position is not sure that they will end in top four. Juventus at the 3rd position only has 2 points more than 3 clubs Inter Milan, AC Milan and AS Roma.
I believe that top four of Serie A will only be known at the final day of this season. It is one of most exciting season in Serie A after many years, first without domination of Juventus and second the very tightly exciting top four race.

The thing is it is actually very hard to say anything in this league. Especially about the teams which are in the top 7 positions. Except for the first one.

Right now I see Inter performing well. I am honestly not sure if Roma will be able to stay ahead of Atalanta because currently, Roma is not performing better compared to Atalanta who is currently below them. It will certainly be a hard job for Roma to stay in 6th position. I am also a little surprised to see the performance of Juventus recently. Expected better from them at this stage of the competition.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: April 30, 2023, 02:26:13 PM
What you say is not wrong, our economy is largely decided by us, we should not blame society, or the government, while we do not work hard but just want to help, luckily. But there are also many cases where we are poor not because of ourselves but partly because of the environment. If you live in a country with a corrupt government, hundreds of percent inflation, no job creation, and a depreciating currency, you won't be able to escape poverty, no matter how hard you try. The environment also plays a very important role in our economy.
Unfortunately, this also happens, but what about people in this case, how to get out of this for someone who wants to change something for the better in life?

The environment will always influence a person, if you want to become better, you need to find an environment that is better than you and you will reach for their level. It turns out that the only way out of this situation will be change of location if possible. Sometimes this is very difficult to do, sometimes it is impossible, and a person alone cannot change that place.

The environment is also a really important factor in the economy of each of us. We will not become rich if we live in an environment of high inflation, many social evils, or widespread unemployment...When I was young, I also thought of emigrating to a country with a more developed economy in search of a better life. But to do that also requires a large amount of money and can be said to be beyond many people's ability, including me. Moreover, it is easier to move to another country if you are not married, if you are married, it is almost impossible.
1054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: April 30, 2023, 01:41:35 PM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.
At this age, even if they are going to possibly verify their trading account wit the document of an older relative, I think their brain is not well developed and ready to handle the technicalities and stress that comes/goes with trading..
But I believe it is a good time for them start learning by the way, and learning does not mean they should start trading with real money, open a demo trading account for them(if they are more than one), with a visual $100 each and allow them to start playing with that,  check their progress with the trading every week to see how they are fairing, even if they are doing fine, don't be in a hurry to move them over to a live trading account, allow them to trade demo until they turn 18 or more, if they take the demo trading serious, they could become real professional traders by the time they are set to start trading live.
This idea is indeed good, but I think children between  8-14 are not supposed to start or engage in anything that has to do with trading at that age because I think if they should start it, addiction is real, and by that age range, they will definitely be losing, whether it's a demo or it's a live trading, the actual age that I think it's suitable for them is 18 and above, atleast at that age, they know what to do with the money they have, and they will also have feelings when they lose money, which will make them think twice while trading. It will push them into researching and looking for ways to get to know how the market operates. They will also learn the different strategies involved in trading at that age.

I don't like that idea, even though we only give them a demo account. What I fear is that we will never have enough time to control them, I mean, they will get bored of the demo account quickly, and I am sure they will find a way to find a real account and deposit money to trade behind us. Creating an account under the age of 18 is not allowed but don't forget there are a lot of black markets selling accounts, and it's not hard to get a verified account. So we shouldn't teach kids to trade at the age of 8-14, I disagree with this even if we use a demo account.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why gambling and mixing called bad actors in bitcoin on: April 30, 2023, 01:24:25 PM
Mixers are considered bad because it makes it difficult for governments and legislatures to track bitcoin accounts, so they won't like them and find a way to destroy them. But for those who value privacy, it's a favorite tool of theirs.
As for gambling, it has never had a good reputation because it causes more crimes than benefits society, even in my country, gambling is completely banned. But some people hate bitcoin, and they have taken advantage of this to smear, and spread false information to inhibit the development of bitcoin.
I don't like to say that these two services are actors who tarnish the good name of bitcoin, but both of these services can be abused by bitcoin users. The real actors are bitcoin users who intend to carry out illegal transactions by utilizing the two services above, so the two services cannot be blamed entirely.

Governments and people who hate bitcoin are of course taking advantage of this situation to their advantage and rule. But nevertheless I think it is their right regardless if the plan works or not. I honestly don't hate the government if its goal is to prevent abuse, but underneath it all I think they are just plotting something to hurt bitcoin and its users financially.

I understand that the main actor is some bitcoin user and, more precisely human behavior. But we also must admit that these services attract more users with evil behavior than others. Gambling is for fun, but very few people understand that, and most abuse gambling and give it a bad reputation. So it wouldn't be strange for it to be seen as the bad actor who has tarnished bitcoin.

The government's duty is to stop the criminals, what they do is right, but because they also don't like bitcoin, they abuse their power to find a way to bring bitcoin down.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: April 29, 2023, 08:29:04 AM
I have seen in  post many people countering who is choosing salary base job but in my opinion those  individual who is only one income  source in entire family is better not chose commission base job. This is my personal experience I was working commission base job before covid but in pandemic everything shut down including my job, my friends who was working salary base job they use to get half of salary or work from home with full salary but my situation really became drastic. Some how I got job in pharma company now situation is much better, so I preferred to salary base job if you don't have financially support from your other family members.

Neither is better than the other, it all comes down to personal preference. As a married person, I also choose a job with a basic salary because I need a stable income, although the chances of promotion or income increase will be lower than a commission job. But that doesn't mean I don't have the opportunity to increase my income. Thanks to a basic paying job with fixed hours, I have free time to find another job or can schedule a time to learn about investing. Since then, my income is not inferior to anyone.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why gambling and mixing called bad actors in bitcoin on: April 29, 2023, 08:17:33 AM
From my experience and observations, I noticed both Bitcoin mixing and online gambling using Bitcoin are mostly regarded as bad actors in Bitcoin despite both being the highest Bitcoin adopters and having the largest Bitcoin volume in transactions and services.
Secondly, if Gambling and Bitcoin mixing services are called bad actors, what about centralized exchanges are they also perceived as bad actors in Bitcoin?

Mixers are considered bad because it makes it difficult for governments and legislatures to track bitcoin accounts, so they won't like them and find a way to destroy them. But for those who value privacy, it's a favorite tool of theirs.

1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It Won't Be Long. on: April 29, 2023, 08:03:05 AM
This fear is normal because after all someone expects that they are profitable instead of losing when investing in Bitcoin. Usually what I do to get rid of this fear is to distract myself from my investment and invest using money that I can afford to lose, usually I reduce my allowance and set it aside to invest in Bitcoin periodically. So even if the value of the asset decreases, it doesn't matter because it's money that I'm ready to lose.

Yes, Investing in Bitcoins can be very stressful, but it is important to remember that fear is just another emotion, such as excitement or greed. One way to deal with this is to distract yourself with other things and only invest what you can afford to lose. That way, even if the price drops, you won't lose any sleep over it. It won't be long before you start to see the fruit of your investment, so my opinion on that is sit back, relax, and let the market do its thing.

You will be stressed when investing in bitcoin because you are not ready or do not fully understand it. But once you understand everything from the benefits as well as the risks you face, you will never feel stressed again. Don't try to distract yourself with those things, it's better to face them and find a solution, then you will feel more confident with your investment.

Like me, when the bear market came, I was so excited and even wanted things to fall even more, bitcoin fell even more because I knew it was a time of opportunity, not a time of fear. Honestly, bitcoin spike makes me unhappy, I want bitcoin to drop to 10k or maybe lower that would make me happy because I can go shopping super cheap.

Lsg settles for 257, I was hoping highest ipl target of 263 from RCB was going to break today but nope. Stoinis got out on stupid shot, his and Pooran's partnership would have broke it.
Lucknow Super Giants
Batting first they gave a target of 257 runs in 20 overs. Now I am waiting to see if Punjab Kings can cross this target. I think they will not cross this run target today. Looks like Lucknow Super will win the match very easily today. Lucknow Super  Team batsman Stoinis scored 72 runs off 40 balls. K Mayers scored 54 runs off 24 balls. Great performance K Mayers.
Punjab kings need 149 runs in 49 balls to win the match. Lucknow Super Giants performance and ability to score the most runs in IPL 2023 are amazing. Despite two early wickets putting pressure on Punjab Kings A. Tade unbeaten 57 runs from 29 balls has been a positive development in their pursuit of a high total. Even if it seems unlikely that Punjab Kings will prevail Tade performance demonstrates that they will persevere and fight until the bitter finish. It is thrilling to witness such intense competition and today high scoring match saw 257 runs scored the most in the previous 38 matches. The chances of Punjab Kings are very low to win the match

I was very disappointed with the performance of the Punjab Kings bowlers today. Except for Rahul Chahar, every bowler in the team performed poorly today. Rahul Chahar did not pick any wicket but he gave only 29 runs in 4 overs. Besides, almost every bowler in the team has given more than 13 runs per over. Rabada managed to pick up two wickets but conceded 52 runs in 4 overs.

Punjab is not playing to win today. Their batting is a bit slow from the beginning of the innings. The team collected 166 runs after losing 5 wickets in 16 overs. 92 runs are needed from 24 balls to win. Atharva Taide played an excellent innings of 36 balls and 66 runs. Jitesh Sharam and Sam Curran are now at the crease.
