With the exception of the last one in your list the other users haven't posted in 4-5 years so why bother at this time?  I did support the last one who has a new topic.

The big problem I see here is that scammers are not banned at all here
Sadly that is correct and is even stated in the forum "rules" section FAQ. That's why reading of trust when available is necessary, using escrow is important and most important is using common sense which is largely lacking around here.  When you pay cheap for something (like $40 or $80 for codes for a $900 program) it generally is going to be a problem because using common sense would tell you that it's not likely not going to last assuming it actually even exists and "guarantees" are as useful as the anonymous person providing them after taking your money using a non-traceable payment method.
124  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Adobe Creative Cloud Key on: December 21, 2020, 05:19:49 AM
Lol yea I'm also looking for Adobe 1 year license but here only scammers with self moderated topics lmao. Moderators should keep an eye on forum to cleanse the scammers, if they found someone with self moderated or locked thread, he should be banned instantly but seems like moderators of this forum do not care about forum's reputation or user's money.
Sadly, Bitcointalk in it's entirety does not moderate scammers in any part of the forum.  In other words, you are on your own to use your due diligence.  Accounts are usually only removed for BAN EVASION or PLAGIARISM.  That's the reason this forum attracts scammers like flies to shit.

But there should be a spam filter etc, a pinned thread to warn newbies about scammers.

Read the first pinned post in this section .... and then put any suggestions in the META FORUM

He (UKTopGuy AKA Embroiderymate and 20 others) was autobanned but his 3 topics remain.

127  Other / Meta / When (or was) the Bitcointalk database hacked? Was it in 2016 ? on: December 20, 2020, 06:29:25 PM
I'm suddenly getting a number of spam PM's from full & legendary members that have not been active since 2016/2017.  Seems to always be 2016/17.  Looking at their feedback it's always 2016 and before with "just woke up" and changed email.  I also notice a lot of scammers have their last feedback in 2016/17 as well before returning to posting.  Since there are so many of these accounts could they have been hacked then sold?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221888
I am NOT, repeat NOT accusing this guy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221888 of being a scammer but it is just one of a number of spam PM's trying to sell me something I have been getting recently that seem to be in that same group with similar last post and feedback dates and change of account. When I look at the feedback  it's always around 2016/2017 and usually no posts since then or sometimes just 1 or 2 over 3-4 years.

Here's another (this guy IS a scammer): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=877816

You definitely have 2 out of the 3 right (Worldwide) and Economy.  Can't speak for coilres OR YOU as I have no idea.
But as for (Worldwide) and Economy  I have  many other days like this one within 1-2-3 minutes of each other like today (what are the odds? ) and also a few days for these 2 plus NOGEVI who is also an alt of these 2.  I think you are just messing with COILRES for other reasons but have no proof (yet).

A couple from the last few days. Seems to be getting a little bit careless.  Have about 8 other days as well

130  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by user vareole on: December 16, 2020, 09:50:54 PM
(your post edited for brevity)

By the way, if someone was claiming that I'm a scammer, while I'm actually legit, I'd post/give everything that's required to show that I'm not a scammer. To save my reputation (given I cared about that...). But not only that guy couldn't prove shit in his last reply, it also looks like he doesn't care much. I mean, even if I was reading this thread as a 3rd party, the situation would look pretty clear to me, but maybe that's just me.

@sandy-is-fine , since it seems that you like to scrutinize people: what do you think about my proof and how vareole can't come up with a definitive reply to end all of this once for all? He just needs to quote that message I sent him if he really never blocked me on Telegram as he claims.

Edit:  regarding the Mod email, I missed that as I didn't open the link. Just saw it.  Sorry on that.

Probably tl;dr but .......  If one can't deal with this crap they are probably better off just moving on.  I have been scammed more times than you can imagine but I usually take it as part of the game which has been what gets me going with these obvious scammers. As for Vareole, I don't have an real opinion either way based on what I have been reading, maybe 53-47 on your side Smiley .   Sometimes the guilty just get away with murder but 100% will eventually get themselves caught.  Your war of words with him isn't going to get you anything but ajita and hypertension and a bunch of fake newbies joining in and cheering you on.  Cheesy  Sometimes (and this goes for both sides of this thread) you just can't prove what you know to be true or false.  I would honestly say that since probably 85% of what is posted in digital goods is a scam and/or obtained by illegal means and 95% of accounts/invites sales are hacked shit so if one is looking to buy what OBVIOUSLY isn't on the up and up they should be prepared for the outcome because people who sell hacked/scam/stolen or whatever shit will mostly end up as scammers eventually and those who buy it end up eventually being scammed.  I used to buy loads of Starbucks cards for personal use here which is how I found the place but I wasn't naive enough to believe it's legitimacy and figured WIN SOME/LOSE SOME.  I had a great supplier for  a very long time, 0 problems, but my last purchase I got scammed for $150 and he was gone in the wind. People who hide behind anonymous names taking untraceable payment claiming  lifetime warranties (or ANY warranty at all) have to be assumed they are scammers and if you get away buying what they sell you're lucky and ahead of the game.  Too much other important stuff going on in the world.  If your REALLY just want to catch him there are 95% foolproof ways to do it but it will mean losing money if it's that important. Buy what will you gain?  He'll get red tagged (maybe banned but doubtful) and will just reappear as someone else 20 minutes later.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful in this case at this time..
131  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by user vareole on: December 16, 2020, 03:05:51 PM
Like the other guy said.  I have no idea one way or the other whether Vareole is a scammer or not.  He may very well be or may not be, but when you say a "mod told you to add a flag" while adding a flag may be the right thing to do I'm not sure how you rated that special treatment because I've yet to ever get a response from a mod.  So when the guy asked you to prove that "a mod told you" is the case (which is not the case in your 5 PUBLIC messages which is easy to find)  maybe you got a private response.  If you're just bloviating that puts your rep under scrutiny for also being an ALT of someone.  The request was simple by the other poster since you offered multiple "proof" he requested one as well which was basically "since You were a brand newbie and posted a flag which the average brand newbie wouldn't have a clue how to do then possibly you had an ulterior motive for your complaint."

I posted proof in my last message that a mod/admin told me to do it. It's not really hard to figure out how to do it, as I understand you go to someone's profile and leave the flag. I hope I did it correctly but it looks like I did since no one complained about that, yet.

So is this "you're a n00b and no way you are skilled enough to leave a flag" thing sorted finally or not? Can we concentrate on what's the real problem here please?

Sure, the "real" problem is, like with the hundreds of other scam complaints around here is whether they are legit or just someone out for retribution or to kill the competition. Cheesy  You sure seem like an intelligent person from your writing but if you hang around here long enough you should be able to understand the scrutiny however when you start suggesting all the other posters may be alts that drops your bonifides a bit.  Cheesy

Just for the record:
Edit: "Bestrussianseller1" is/was an obvious alt of scammers (Worlwide)/Economy/Nogevi just to name a few and his post was deleted from this thread.

135  Other / Meta / Re: "Bump under 24hrs" reports suddenly being marked bad - mostly done on scam topic on: December 10, 2020, 10:11:22 PM
I’ve had similar reports marked as Bad in the past. I’ve also had ‘altcoin giveaway’ reports marked as Bad too.
Consistency is key to moderation & at times there isn’t any in certain subs.

Maybe there are "moderators in training"  Cheesy Cheesy on the job.   Have never had a problem busting balls in over 3+ years.  Oh well, life goes on.   Cheesy

I haven't handled them, but it's always been once per 24 hours. I think they've been incorrectly marked as bad though to be honest.
Yea, I assumed that.  Cheesy  In the last 2 days 4 have been marked bad.  NBD just wondered why the sudden change.   I put up another one with a note at the end .... Cheesy
137  Other / Meta / "Bump under 24hrs" reports suddenly being marked bad - mostly done on scam topic on: December 10, 2020, 07:49:47 PM
Wondering what may have changed.  I generally use "Bump Under 24hrs" reports only to harass some well tagged known scammers when they bump their threads under 24hrs by 5 or so hours or more.  All of a sudden those reports are being marked as BAD.  I DO NOT care about the "BAD" itself but wondering what has changed.  Maybe it has now becomes ONE BUMP PER DAY (DATE) or maybe that is what it always was and it isn't clear rather than once every 24hrs as noted in rules?  I even had one marked as BAD when the mod actually deleted it.

From RULES:  13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]
138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer........ on: December 08, 2020, 04:11:00 AM

There is also a chance that the accused are not aware with this and might OP is trying to pull him down. Who knows, the details posted here are not sufficient enough.

If OP didn't provide additional info then consier this as nothing.

There is also a POSSIBILITY HIGH PROBABILITY the OP is a shit-poster and the topic was actually created by another scammer as you can see in posts #19 and #20 in this thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1727171.msg55772636#msg55772636.  There is also another bit of "evidence" that this MAY be the case in the OP.  That plus there is not even a scam topic listed.  C'mon guys & gals  .... you're likely being played by a scammer just posting shit!
139  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 07, 2020, 08:38:55 PM
Yes, I got the exact same PM message.

I can also say, with maybe 90% 95%  99% certainty (Worldwide) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=877816 is an ALT of tagged scammers Economy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2170208 and Nogevi https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2128667.   Been following their logins and posts the last few days and WORLDWIDE and ECONOMY are very often logged in within a minute of each other and often posting one right after the other (as in today).  Nogevi also often logs in within a few minutes of the other 1 or 2 very often as well as is the case right now.  While this can't be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt"
I'd bet lunch that it is the case.

My FINAL "evidence" is that (Worldwide) created a fake type 2 flag on me and the 2 users who immediately "supported" it were, surprise, Economy ad Nogevi.  There is no way anyone could have known that flag was posted since it wasn't active and immediately after the flag was added those 2 added their support and were all logged in around the same time.  Doesn't matter much since they are both (all three) obvious and multi-tagged scammers but just something I have been watching.

Anyone who tagged the scammer got this annoying message  Cheesy
instead of addressing the issue, he prefers to do name-calling and direct me to another scam report, so far I received similar messages from 4 out 5 members whom I tagged

Yet another alt for this scammer/spammer complete with it's upcoming growing list of all his fake newbie vouches.

This is ONE of many of the original accounts of this guy (same email as this one):  https://archive.vn/QZ92x

Here are a bunch of the other members of the "the spam & scam crew" (probably a few more I missed  Cheesy ):
