sx now supports stealth addresses for anonymous payments!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418071

I saw stealth on reddit just a day ago and now it's in sx?!  Where is the best place to donate?

Its so funny how this guy waives his penis in our faces like this. People he really did steal the coins and he cannot prove otherwise! Okay let me wake you up with a simple prove.

Ukyo, if the private keys for a large number of bitcoins were lost, At least you have the records of lost to what addresses, not all of them just say 20% of the lost funds, say 250BTC, just a couple of addresses. Looking at those addresses at blockchain.info will give an approximation of a time frame where the coins got stuck and they should be there unmoved ever since.

He cannot provide such addresses because he is lying. He stole them and he understands how hard is to get to him legally,

So basically Ukyo you stole 94% of our money, its okay but I promise you we will find you one day andwe will hurt the ones close to you. Look into their eyes and smiling faces and remember it was your unethical irresponsible behaviour and kleptotardness that made them suffer. Little by little we are getting more information about you. We are everywhere and we are indeed plotting. We will hurt you directly and through them.

Please don't commit suicide before we get to you, We want you to enjoy the show, Your next couple of years will be very interesting. I will be very generous to offer you this advice, Get bodyguards and guns, you WILL need them.

Have a shitty day.

You want to harm someone's friends because of something he may or may not have done, let alone harm another individual?  Get the fuck off this planet you shitty little mini-Hitler.

I can assure you he is not in the may or may not have done it area anymore, I am also very angry and my methods will not be understood by you.

You knew the risks of investing on an unsecured market with uninsured funds, and you defend your death threats?

Credibility has fallen to 0 with you.

It is very possible that the extreme checks put on the withdraw form are causing the issue.
Can you try changing your password to something simple to test with?
Either through the lost password feature or simply on main WeExchange site?

Claims site now showing
Code:
Balance Stuck	0.00000000	Available	0.00000000	Withdrawn	0.00000000
Doesn't look good.

same here. I had money stuck both in withdrawal and in the site. I wonder what happened.

I too am zeroed out with both money in the 2nd stage error and sitting in the wallet.

I'm not going to sign up for a Google Hitler-mail account.

If you feel it is unnecessary to give us an email address to contact you on, then that's fine, but please know that any unclaimed shares will be held in limbo (not receive dividends) until they are claimed by address ownership verification. I cannot and will not allow dividends to be sent into (potential) black holes.

If Google's OpenID standard for logging in is not for you please understand that the other options (e.g. Facebook, twitter) were untenable. Given the time constraints, I will not reinvent the security wheel. Google was chosen because I know you many of you already use Google Authenticator for your security needs.

My shares will be automatically transferred back to Icedrill when BF closes, giving you the share count and payout address.

Yes, Bitfunder will send us a list when it closes, but the assumption that everything will automagically just happen is incorrect. http://www.icedrill.io is our share transfer process.

Let's be clear:  [Google single sign-on] != [Google 2FA]

I can sign my payout address, which has been published on Bitfunder's asset list for weeks.

I can sign in with an open-source Google Authenticator 2FA program without having to use their demonstrably insecure Stasi-mail product.

There's absolutely no reason to characterize our Bitfunder addresses as "black holes" except to justify the burden of requiring us to use Stasi-mail.

I am not asking you to "reinvent the security wheel."  I am asking you to simply use 2FA instead of requiring Google's evil NSA compromised infrastructure.

I'll send a signed PM reassuring you my address on file with Bitfunder is entirely intentional and correct, and not merely the result of some kooky mix-up with a supernova and a broken TARDIS.   Cool

What is wrong with using a google email address if you don't provide google with any important information?
129  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: December 01, 2013, 02:04:11 AM
so maybe i am a idiot  but can we go over how the verifacation works?

step 1: put in the adress that bitfunder has on your account

step 2 copy and paste that adress again after the little message

step 3 copy and paste the whole message with the adress into teh last box

is that correct and if so why does mine say "verifacation failed: incorrect padding"?

step 1: check  Smiley

step 2: you need to sign the message shown with your adresse from step 1. with blockchain.info for example you have an option "sign" message on the screen that shows all the adresses that are under your account. --> https://blockchain.info/Resources/faq/signmessage.png

step 3: after the process of signing the message you get a signature. this hast to go in the last field.

now you should get a confirmation with the amount of shares linked to your address.

I don't wish to use the e-mail that bitfunder has on account. Will the process still work if I register with a different address in step 1 ?

What matters is that you can produce a signature with a given bitcoin public key.

uKyo I request a withdraw on weexchange, one week ago, still processing, please tell me what is going on,,, I need my bitcoin back
Ukyo/weexchange is having problems with bitcoind because the wallet.dat file has become to big, takes 15-30 min to do each transaction manually for him.

Is this solvable with libbitcoin  Wink?
132  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 10:44:26 PM
Alright Ukyo thanks, it looks like you are working towards resolving this....

1 small thing again though:

It would be smart / kind / & reasonable if you posted a warning on WeExchange. Something like "Note that any deposits may be subject to an arbitrary holding period up to a month due to technical difficulties" or somesuch.  This is only fair as this problem has been going on more than month with notice given to folks who are depositing.

I agree with this and wanted to try to get that put up today.
I have also disabled the ability to send funds to BitFunder already.

Ukyo, although many have been understandably impatient, there are probably 10x more of us silently appreciating the work you're doing to fix these problems.  Your credibility is unparalleled is these parts.

Keep up the good work!

How about a windows version?

I think it can be compiled for Windows, but the github is now gone...

Is it?

With BitFunder closing down will you be paying the dividend like Ukyo intends to?

Will he be taking 5 minutes to communicate?
135  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: October 21, 2013, 10:02:31 PM
Ukyo said a week or so ago in the IRC chat, that there is a very long list of people waiting for redemption and he does not have the money. So redemption is not happening any time soon. I sold all of my shares with a small loss at that time, cause I have no interest in verifying my account. If you are holding large amounts that you can't sell without huge losses you just need to continue holding them and hope that the site goes well so Ukyo is able to pay the interest.

What are the US citizens who will no longer be able to trade in a week or so supposed to do?

Looking at the asset list, I'm the largest individual holder of ukyo.loan. There is no way I could sell all my shares in a week even if I wanted to. I wish Ukyo would say something here so we know what is going on. Second hand reports of something that might have been said on IRC is not a good way to communicate with your shareholders. I'm hoping that at least I can remain in the redemption queue after the end of the month even if my account remains unverified.

Why do you believe you won't still be able to redeem after Nov 1?

"Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013."

"As of December 2, 2013, BitFunder will initiate a transfer from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) of any remaining shares held by any users that BitFunder knows to be U.S. persons or who did not obtain "Verified" status by December 1, 2013, and will provide the issuer(s) with the public bitcoin address associated with the user account. After transfer, each user will need to work with the issuer(s) with respect to the future treatment of the shares."

Yes this situation sucks and Ukyo has been very very odd in his refusal to reply (assuming he can) but I'm holding on to the shares until they are fully redeemed by Ukyo.  Same applies to Graet.
136  Bitcoin / Electrum / Android Client. vs Windows on: October 07, 2013, 06:58:25 PM
I recently installed electrum on both my phone and laptop with the same seed.  The windows machine displays only 5 addresses while the android displays the same 5 addresses + 3 ones I do not recognize.  Are these keys somewhere hidden on the windows client and if so can I view them somehow / add them to the visible pool?

thanks!
137  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: September 13, 2013, 08:14:38 PM
What's the deal with Icedrill shares tanking,  or are the pre-ipo investors still cashing out?

Volume is almost nil.  A dip on no volume isn't a big deal, and actually healthy for the long-term as weak hands are displaced by strong ones.

The price isn't "tanking."  For an example of actual tanking, look at ACTM since I warned the heedless fools (sumzero, stuartuk, volcanicerupter, bargraphics) to get out while they still could.

 Cheesy  ^Now that's what I call tanking!^

Some people also forget that a security's nominal value tends to decrease as the currency it was bought with increases in nominal value.
