For you leeches bothering the thread with no purpose, here's my response.
This is the pre-ann for Streamvid.io, which is a video hosting website. It will have its mineable token, and no ICO. It does not involve torrents or webtorrents. It's a clip uploader with credits, said tokens. Original content and video capture are encouraged.
Token can be used within the website, and traded in altcoin exchanges.
There is no resemble to purevidz or any other coin/project. The official announcement will come within 2 weeks where you can learn more about it.
So its like YouTube but you get coins instead of AdSense $$$ ? That sounds cool to me. Nice way to create coins but what would be peoples incentive to buy them ? Will holding large amounts of coin get you better coverage for your uploaded videos ? Yes, it's blockchain based. The incentive to buy them can vary. You can also mine them. Having more coins doesn't necessarily mean that your videos have more exposure, but having more coins is always good  It will be easier to understand with the formal announcement. You'll see. |

You gave a newbie $30 or so upfront? Ugh. Use escrow. If escrow's aren't available and you're in a rush use a campaign manager or someone online that you feel is trustworthy. Literally anyone is more trustworthy than a newbie.
Does he also have your address? That would scare the crap out of me.
Fortunately I use bought addresses and fake names. So all is good. |

OP, whilst getting scam is an unfortunate event, this is solely your own fault. You should know better than to deal with new users without escrow, especially when they request payment upfront.
I have tagged the account in question, but I highly doubt that we are going to hear from him again (at least not from the same account).
Of course I should have used escrow. I have pm'd 2 forum members for it without response and decided to go on with half payment up front. I'm not saying I was wise. On the contrary. But still I was scammed. |

Because I could afford to lose it if it was a scam and if not, I'd like to take advantage of the good price so I took a chance. We are a video hosting website. Uploaders get coins. Simple as that.
