Are you using the latest miner? It's 1.3 avx-aes on the OP. I went from 142 kH/s to 380 kH/s on a stock i7-2600K when I upgraded to that. Any link ? on the 1st page it's a 1.2c download. It's on the first page, 1.3. Here's the link: https://mega.co.nz/#!L1YgUIwB!_Xby8q1OkZCpatrJAkm9GJXrz2vLvYCiLgIsGFB4ph8 it says darkcoin-minerd-1.2c.zip on Mega. I get it directly on github. By the way, if you want to join me, go on the P2POOL Node : http://mightypool.net:7903try darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes also i could incrase my cpu hashrate by adding threads with I could increase cpu hashrate on intel i 5 2500K at 4600 with , the old lady is mining darkcoin at 500khs. At some point if oyu add to much threads the shares get dropped. Please man, send me that miner ... i cannot find link for download, the OP has the wrong link in 1.3 avx aes, and i dunno how to download from github, noob im also on linux and compiled from source. There are links if you try google but i dont suggest to load random bins. here is the git repo https://github.com/elmad/darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes HEre on the frontpage is also a link to a windows bin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.0

Got my darkcoin p2pool node running for a couple days now. The node is on http://62.141.39.175:7903/static/Connect to stratum+tcp://62.141.39.175:7903 -u darkcoin address -p anything ALL MINERS WELCOME

./sgminer -k darkcoin \ -o stratum+tcp://lotterymining.com:4444 -u un -p pw \ --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 19 -g 1 \ --gpu-engine 1450 \ --gpu-memclock 1450
[04:21:59] WARNING: GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT is not specified! [04:21:59] WARNING: GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS is not specified!
It's 4:30am, going to sleep...
Way too high core clock. Start with 1050 and you can move up a bit maybe around 1140. Memclock to 1500 This generally works good for most 7970 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192. Very rarely you can't use 2 threads (search for The Stilt's bioses), in that case -I 20 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24000 and tweak TC to higher numbers upto stability. Also add to the startup script for sgminer #!/bin/bash export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
config now set as follows, still no effect on speed: ./sgminer -k darkcoin \ -o stratum+tcp://lotterymining.com:4444 -u un -p pw \ --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 \ --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500
It still complains about the exported variables as if they hadn't been exported. [11:40:05] Started sgminer 4.1.0-85-gccc7d [11:40:05] ADL found less devices than opencl! [11:40:05] There is possibly more than one display attached to a GPU [11:40:05] Use the gpu map feature to reliably map OpenCL to ADL [11:40:05] WARNING: Number of OpenCL and ADL devices did not match! I have a hunch that ADL/OpenCL whining is part of the problem. I think the values passed in the command line are being ignored. Thus, why setting GPU clock to 1500 didn't do anything bad or good; it's not actually happening. did you tried : set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 or setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

I still can not get my gtx9800gtx+ to work with sgminer. set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://62.141.39.175:7903 -u darkcoinaddress-p x -k darkcoin --debug -v --gpu-engine 750 --gpu-memclock 1100 --shaders 128 I tried to lower to gpu engine and gpu memclock below factory level, without success. any ideas? Thx in advance .... still no solution, cmon guys, any suggestion? try to put -k darkcoin just after sgminer.exe . But I think it is not possible to mine with nvidia, just ati. Hi, I'm using sgminer with my nvidia cards. Try this: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://www.drkpool.com:3333 -u user.worker -p x -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8064 -I 13 --shaders 2048
Of course, change your options to what's best for your card. And use the latest miner. still no success. Later today im back on linux, will try it there.

I've been thinking about something lately, wouldn't some of the biggest players in Bitcoin be interested in buying Darkcoin, once DarkSend is live? They would have some of the greatest need for privacy because all eyes will be on these addresses ( http://bitcoinrichlist.com/top100) to track where they are spending. I doubt Donald Trump would want his bank statement public so why would these guys? If only a handful of these players switch to Darkcoin, that represents huge volume and demand. Thats one part, indeed. Iam sure there will be exciting stuff around that coin / tech. I really consider this coin / tech "under the radar" currently.

lol, typo, anyways, i think 0.4 fair considered its good hardware the node is running on and the other nodes charge 1.0

hey guys, feel free to join my p2pool darkcoin node, its running on a decent server, located in germany dc Gbit connection. 0.4% fees Frontend http://62.141.39.175:7903/static/Mining stratum+tcp://62.141.39.175:7903

Cant get sgminer running darkcoin on win 7 x64 - 9800gtx+ gpu
scrypt works, just darkcoin keeps crashing the sgminer.

No need to post your rpcusername and wallet addresses really. Also -f 5 means 5% fees. Really 5 % ? getting this now: http://pastebin.com/QEDnDA3Xhehe, the settings are just symbolic, if everything runs fine ill settle to a blank new user, new wallet and different credentials. Thx for the help btw 62.141.39.175 is yours ? It's my log. 2014-03-04 13:34:36.168327 Outgoing connection to peer 62.141.39.175:7902 established. p2pool version: 1300 '502de55-dirty' 2014-03-04 13:34:36.172253 Sending 1 shares to 62.141.39.175:7902 2014-03-04 13:34:36.520723 Lost peer 62.141.39.175:7902 - Connection to the other side was lost in a non-clean fashion.
First stop p2pool, and remove data/darkcoin/*. and remove '--disable-upnp' Then run again. Error again ? then Ask your ISP ! seem to run smoothly now. TYVM

Isn't it the case where the longer the contract the better? A shorter contract just means less value for you. As far as I can tell, there is zero benefit to a shorter term.
Yes, but it could be calculated like 50% of time = 50% of cost + 5% price markup for additional risk for the company - just an example What you need to consider is that a contract half the length wouldn't be half the price. A 6 month contract would probably be 70% (Rough estimate!) of a 5 year contract as the difficulty increase is a compounding effect. If you want shorter contracts with a higher and more immediate final payout, PBM isn't for you. If you want to be able to trade GHs, PBM isn't for you. If you want a consistent long term investment, with weekly payouts, no fees but great support, then PBM is for you. Also, a note of the lack of address and name linked with PBM, i take great comfort in the fact they have no idea who i am, and i certain the feeling is mutual! INdeed, the anonymity at all is a plus, but i still hold my position that eventually customers would pay a markup just to be on the safe side. That this costs additional funds is obligatory. I thought about a slider that proportionally calculates the price depending on the contract timeframe.
