121  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-05] Bitcoin’s Killer Apps on: October 13, 2014, 10:47:12 AM
With the assumed permission of the genius who developed this idea I repeat it here (from Re*dit - http://tinyurl.com/l2pq5fs):
Quote
The killer app will be legitimising thepiratebay, in a way iTunes did mp3 and Netflix did Movies/TV.

This can easily be done and get the gov off theirs and ours backs.

Strickly bitcoin. Legitimise music, video, software, games. With subscription to the media we are all able to get but be able to give back % to each from subscriptions.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest into in 2014 and 2015 on: September 30, 2014, 06:17:36 PM
My favorite is Blackcoin (http://www.blackcoin.co/). After a short phase of POW it now supports only POS with a yearly 1% incentive. And it looks like the very cool guys from Blackcoin (http://youtu.be/9dEwb8F7Jbo)  do lots of marketing. Thirdly it seems that BC is on the step from non relevance to relevance.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: September 28, 2014, 07:26:54 PM
This is log version of that chart...

Your argument from the initial posting is very good. But you should adjust the numbers. If Bitcoin climbs to 1 Mio USD then it will take over the world economy with a M1 value of 21 * 10^12 USD. It is doubtful that this will happen. But who knows ...
125  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 26, 2014, 03:38:39 PM

That is what I have thought. But still the blockchain is being continued and my wallet has 3 connections. Maybe anyone who still has some COIN cn contect me.

Do you want to buy? Wink

no - not really
127  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 23, 2014, 07:03:40 PM

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★★ [COIN] ★★★★★ on: September 23, 2014, 12:45:48 PM
It's now selling for 1 satoshi and the order book is less than 2 millions Sad

COIN is having a near death experience ...

I'll post this on both threads.

When there's no more buy orders, if anyone wants go give them away, here's the RIP address : Cc25Auhg2DhWYv8bKDsijofWRdyyhp6qWU
...

is this serious ?

I have 155290 COIN and would give them away all together for 1 mBTC.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 21, 2014, 10:26:29 PM
we are not on the verge of any bubble...

at best we'll be able to hold 400, then have a decent rally.

I disagree and I will tell you why:

Bubbles of days gone by were formed when lots of new blood came in to buy coins. New blood typically gets attracted when the price starts going up. It is a positive feedback loop.

As for the situation right now I am very confident that we have the most "organic" Bitcoin use right now than ever before.
...
It doesn't matter if the price crashes to $300 or below, the bubble is coming and nothing will stop it. In fact lower prices may just bring more people into the game because they want to buy in low... which will add more fire to the explosion.

good analysis. but remember that all people coming in now and surge the transaction rate are also out with the same speed.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the current bitcoin value crash? on: September 19, 2014, 12:13:23 AM
Maybe this news on India is a reason:
Country says anyone found guilty of using Bitcoin could be imprisoned for up to 12 years
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COIN - Cryptocurrency for real world applications on: September 11, 2014, 05:50:49 PM
Is there anything to do with COIN anymore. I still have some and mined a lot for fun. Or is it dead finally.
It is totally dead Huh Huh ???Just let this coin go and mine other coin.

That is what I have thought. But still the blockchain is being continued and my wallet has 3 connections. Maybe anyone who still has some COIN cn contect me.

136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin slowly losing its popularity? on: August 25, 2014, 01:12:47 PM
Not a chance, it'll fade when it's a symbol of everyday life and nobody finds stuff like "Dell accept bitcoins!" amazing, just like the internet.

Very unlikely. Probably it will be more popular than ever when it is accepted as a medium of value storage like gold. Currently the overall situation and very negative press and events prevent this. But if more regulation comes and legalisation is clear it will come.
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Public interest will not drive the next rally on: August 24, 2014, 04:14:16 PM
All the charts seems to predict a great future for bitcoins but I'm not so sure about it, the downswing seems unstoppable Sad

Where do you get the downswing from? Every day new companies rise up and the adoption goes on. Even if the absolute exchange rate would go down the adoption goes on. No need to repeat all that news about Afrika, remittance market, Overstock, Expedia, Bloomberg, Winklevoss ETF and so on ... at some point simply the market demand will be there. Currently China seems to be a driving factor. But that will swap and real mass adoptions starts.

What a nice world where nobody can take the money of somebody else just by force. Where you can buy worldwide with one currency within seconds. Where you do not need a purse to carry a collection of exchange coins around. ....
138  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: August 22, 2014, 09:08:07 PM
139  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: August 22, 2014, 09:04:52 PM

140  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: August 22, 2014, 07:39:19 PM
Das total output volume erreicht ein neues Allzeit-Hoch mit 3,337,759.02 BTC. Hat hier jemand eine Erklärung dafür?
