121  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 02, 2015, 10:38:56 AM
Was it the entire balance of your wallet?

Was it an imported address?

Did you recently install anything Bitcoin-related or suspicious recently?

Do you have AV?

Was the wallet password protected and if so when did you last type that password?

Yes all of it wiped out

No I'm very tech savvy

Yes I have AV

The wallet was password protected

WTF

Where did you store any backups or your seed?

Did you use the password anywhere else, and when did you last enter it?

I'm sorry to say, but the chances of you getting back the BTC are very slim. The transaction is already confirmed and the funds have left. Right now you need to figure out what exactly happened, doing so will prevent you losing anymore coins, and may help prevent others losing coins too.

Yeah I've read so many threads of people losing their coins. I'm screwed, might start a gofundme lol, I kid. Pissed off is an understatement

I just noticed the hacker didn't leave much of a transaction fee and it says:

Estimated Confirmation Time   Within 6 Blocks

Can I use this to my advantage?

128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF3301 Datasheet Open Source [Updated 30/4/15] on: April 30, 2015, 11:44:05 PM
Not that I am a fan of litecoin, but being able to mine both at the same time is a pretty cool feature. If all ASICs use this technology in the future then the litecoin network will become bigger and bigger... Maybe LTC isn't dead and useless after all?

I get what he's saying, satoshi has/had nothing to do with the bitcoin foundation. Remove him as a founder by all means but don't forget to add him as THE GENIUS CREATOR OF BITCOIN WHO CHANGED THE WORLD. No?

Do you have pictures of the Camera and all the items?
Where is shipping from in the UK? Thanks

Shipping from the UK yes, am happy to ship to EU but not USA. Bare with me on the pics I honestly don't have a camera to hand. Might have to use my webcam...
133  Economy / Goods / [SOLD!] GoPro HERO 4 BLACK EDITION - with acessories - £275! on: April 30, 2015, 10:21:32 AM
SOLD - Sorry, it didn't last long!

Hi everyone! Before I post this for sale elsewhere I will just gauge a bit of interest here...

For sale is a GoPro Hero 4 BLACk edition. I have only used it very briefly (twice) to test it out. It has never been used in any 'extreme sports' conditions. I have no real use for it so I'm putting it up for sale. It comes with a 64GB MicroSD card and lots of accessories.

Full list of what's included:

  • GoPro HERO 4 BLACK edition - in orignal box and with waterproof casing
  • 64 GB Class I 60Mb/s MicroSD Card
  • Head strap
  • Body Strap
  • Wrist Strap
  • Various mounts for cars/bikes etc
  • Extenable 'Selfie' Stick
  • A few other straps and mounts that I don't know what they are

All accessories are unused and the GoPro itself is in 100% immaculate conditon. I've only been outside with it once!

Total Value: £450

Asking price: £275 - exclusive bitcointalk price Wink

Full escrow is accepted and I would prefer to be paid in BTC.

Thanks for looking!

I wasted a lot of time and energy on this forum a few years back:

I couldn't believe people were that ignorant and stupid about the facts. In the end I gave up, thinking that the whole 'society' MUST be a joke. Right?
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i found satoshi nakamoto on: April 29, 2015, 12:26:39 AM
I think you guys are talking about the 'alert code' key. It is used to send an alert message to all bitcoin clients in the event of an emergency.

^^^^ This  Wink
How is it that an alert emergency key "controls bitcoin"

Exactly. It's not.

Quote
Alerts
These people have alert keys and should be contacted ASAP in case of emergencies:

Satoshi
Gavin
theymos

Email Satoshi, even though he is believed to be gone. A serious issue may "bring him out of retirement", which would be helpful.
Because alerts are known to be very secure, all information related to an emergency should be sent with alerts. For example, hashes of new releases should be included in alerts.
The most important part of alert messages should be put at the front, since the remaining text might get cut off. A good way to begin would be: "EMERGENCY: DO NOT ACCEPT OR SEND PAYMENTS".

139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Ross Ulbright framed by the FBI? on: April 28, 2015, 12:43:41 PM
It's such a strange, eye-opening case. He was certainly set up by the FBI to some degree but he was also guilty of a lot crimes before the FBI had even arrived on the scene. I wish Ross all the best of luck but I don't see him getting out of this one.

I saw that the prosecution is bringing in family members of 'victims' that died after taking drugs from the silk road. That's a very sly move by the prosecution, you can clearly see they are pulling out all the stops to silence him and lock him away for good.

My 2 satoshi's.
