don't buy miners with btc use fiat instead. price will go up. just be warned. see my signature.

true but reality fiat is usually scarce for most of us, especially if we invested a lot initially.

Septembers along time 3ths will be the 1th ,and preorders are so last year, but you could let spondooly off because they do deliver.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: STOCK B2 35MH/S LITECOIN MINER/3400USD with Shipping on: May 30, 2014, 04:11:04 PM
Unit is full of Dust on the Top? that look not too good...

Tested 4 of the  Dragon A1 1T miner units. They are heavily used and had layers of dust. Just be aware of what your getting. I would ask for pics of the machine not only on the outside but the inside and ask for pictures of actual miner to be shipped so that you know what your getting.

The only plus so far is that all 4 machines work with any issues so far but they are not new but heavily used.

unfortunately this is the norm no matter what they say, they wont have 60THs sitting in boxes till someone buys them, thats about 3 coins a day,;maybe 40 coins before they sell the 60 units and at todays prices its $1800 aday. They all do it, its cost covering or  whatever they want to call it. I dont mind as long as price could be honourable and decent and the custom declaration was good,

what will you declare for customs shipped to u.k, and pm me best price for 20 units. thanks

is that correct , september shipping? Huh
126  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] FOR SALE: TERRAMINERS / DRAGONS / COINCRAFT DESKS on: May 29, 2014, 10:33:51 PM
Mining is for chumps. Just buy bitcoin and you will make more on the inflation.

true but then you have to find more cash to buy because the forst batch is still in coins waiting for decent inflation, wheras mining you ROI, if you buy at a decent price, then coins mined will be pfofit minus price of your electric, maybe rent, and maybe plus some inflation. Grin

Next gen ST = close to 70x the density though Wink (and also 50-70th of the $/GH)

How did you get 70x?

Think of the footprint and hash rate of a fully populated M-H board setup. Compare that with a SP30. Mucho density.

Have you seen the bf3500? Apparently can hold up to 2880 bitfury chips (11th/s) in a 6u case.

where can i get one?
131  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy #5] ASIC chip design funded by the people keep BTC decentralized on: May 24, 2014, 08:16:25 AM
Yes of course doeant need to bw the lowest nm chip . Beacause a 40nm chip will have good power to hash ratio amdain thing well get it at cost.
132  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy #5] ASIC chip design funded by the people keep BTC decentralized on: May 23, 2014, 05:14:34 AM
Just my 2c -

yeah, it would be nice to have an open-source chip, but honestly - even if the design is open-sourced it still takes a lot of effort (read $$$) to turn chip design into a working silicone.

As this enterprise is going to require a lot of work there are 2 things that we need to clarify before we even start:
- engineering : design, software, development, etc - you need the appropriate people and resources for that. Do you have (at least some of) those?
- financials: there is no free soup. By the time you get a working chip there would be some expenses. How would they be recouped?

I guess all of this will be covered by The Plan.

And thinking about it - I guess we can start with simple questions like "where do we want to go" and "how do we get there".
The "where" part is somewhat clear - we want a chip (with some unknown specs so far).

+1

My 3 bits worth... Smiley

1. List what's available in regards to chip design already available open source and license ones .saves having to design c one from scratch.

2. Choose one which will be best,  I.e. performance available once received from fab in a specific time frame e.g. a 28nm chip to be ready for 3 months needs to be at least a500ghs chip to give a machine which runs at least 10ths,most Likely a rackl system.

3.if step 2 is not good enough then step 1 should be too choose a node design and get a design made e.g 20nm or 18nm.

other possible steps contact designer manufacturer to get some quotes and time frames, bored designers, assemblers, software.

Working with the hive operation for boards would be a good idea it would save loads of time and money in the second phase of machine production because it's all done or in process.

just a start...maybe.

134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAINTECH - NOT HAPPY WITH MY ORDER on: May 22, 2014, 11:50:00 AM
same problem except we get 20% sting bitmain say theu have to declare full value which makes purchase usless.

That's called the law?

laws not a problem when youdont  know what your going to be charged for thata the problem.

they declared low values on the s1 and didnt care then of the law.

There is a copy cat scam skype account.
The guy tried to send me a virus.

Ali and Dave are aware of it and have posted the proper skype accounts in the OP.

There are a ton of scammers trying to leech off different vendors.
Several others have had issues as well recently with copy cat scammers.

These guys are scammers and if they are not their name has been hijacked by some and their skype accounts. my recent story with them:

said kluge had done his escrow, so contacted kluge, he never had any dealings with ali or bittech.

i asked him which city kluge was from he said illinois, buffalo grove, lie.
and his english was more broke than the banks! then i asked wheres david, their tech guy, he said hes around i said whens he back in germany i want to see him(hes not from germany i dont know where hes from) he said next week, but instead of sending it in his skype account he sent it in the fake bdk_kluge escrow account, lol, then deleted it straight away.

ill try to insert a screenshot pic.

i just dont get it they seem to have delivered machines also in earlier posts.if this wasnt you bittech contact me i still want machines, seb ju escrow.

Their Skype issue is irrelevant and serves as a diversion from the current concerns of potential buyers on here.  This is still the official Bit-Tech thread and contact@bittech.hk still stands as their official and valid email address for the purpose of placing orders as posted in the OP, right?  So Skype or not, why can't they post the requested detailed pictures of the current inventory that have been requested?  This is not rocket science.  If I were in the same geographic area as they are, I'd pay them a visit and volunteer to take the pictures myself and post it on here for everybody to see.  What's so complicated about that?  Unless, of course, there's nothing to take pictures of.

ok fair enough.i can belive that I will go through the email.

I reckon a plan needs to be laid out just like other gb,'s  e.g. 100 shares each share for 2btc etc. And all possible costs profits roi etc.

its a big job even for buying hardware let alone a chip fab. but a guide would encourage more. I wish i could do more, its fantastic idea.
