121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH is probably DYING on: October 08, 2017, 11:13:22 PM
bitcoin cash born as a dead coin. its price will decline more than before. now we are having bitcoin gold which is another fork copy of bitcoin cash, there is no reason to get these fake coins. it will jst another story to tell to our kids in the future.
Bitcoin cash and the current fork is entirely different ,if you are holding bitcoin then what is wrong in getting the free coins,it is just easy money without any hurdle and these coins are better than most of the alt coins in the market,so you cannot ignore them simply as fake coins.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO][BMT] 💥BMCHAIN BOUNTY CAMPAIGN 💥 Up to 10 000 BMT in a week!💥 on: October 08, 2017, 10:50:57 PM
now I have 200 more follower in twitter , can you accept it
The main purpose of the campaign is to spread awareness and these are the closing stages and if you have already applied then it is well and good and you might get the share for the amount of days you advertised as mentioned by the OP.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][ANN] BMCHAIN - monetize your experience 🚀🚀200 000 users on: October 08, 2017, 10:42:44 PM
Hi Dev, I just want to clarify about the spreadsheet. Im sorry its just my second signature campaign and I cant understand the spreadsheet because it just said there active. I cant know how many of my posts are counted and dont know when the week ends. Im sure some participants know this already and Im sorry to bother you but I just want to know.
It depends upon you date of joining and whether you have fulfilled their minimum requirement of ten post per week and if you have done that then you will be getting your reward at the end of the ICO,i think the post counts from the day you enroll in the campaign. Just a couple of days more for the ICO and the last opportunity to grab some coins before hitting the exchange.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 05, 2017, 11:58:53 PM
It was a risky trip in my opinion,i would get a bitcoin based debit card rather than trusting local bitcoins when i am on a trip, either way hope you have a wonderful experience with just hundred dollars in your pocket and the rest being in bitcoin ,the volatility is high and you cannot predict the price and if i am in that situation i would not take that risk.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: October 05, 2017, 11:49:21 PM
I think Ethereum will beat BItcoin in marketcap, because Ethereum has a lot of ICO. Smart Contracts will help Ethereum to be more successful on their projects. but after a bull run. BItcoin will be no.1 because Bitcoin has a lot of merchants.
How can Ethereum beat bitcoin in marketcap because it has a lot of ICO,smart contracts are restricted in most countries and most of the projects are not that successful ,no coin will overcome bitcoin when it comes to price but market cap is not a bench mark as you could make an unlimited coin and over the limitations. 126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need to pay income tax if we earn through Bitcoin or Altcoins?? on: September 28, 2017, 09:33:56 PM
Strictly speaking yes you should, I imagine in the future there will be stricter rules and recognition regarding bitcoin and exchanges so the governments don't miss out on extra tax money.
I sure with the existing rules and regulation everyone who makes money trading should pay the tax as long as you convert them to fiat currency you are obliged to pay your tax and if not you would end up in trouble at a later time as you would be forced to pay fines for not filing your taxes properly.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to buy Waves now? on: August 15, 2017, 11:10:34 PM
One of my friend has told me that the price of waves in increasing much faster and we can easily double up multiple times our money with it and told me that buy it as much as possible. I want to ask from you people who are expert that is it possible for it to increase in value?
I do like the waves platform but we are yet to see more projects coming out with their platform and the tokens released in waves platform are not performing the way the ETH tokens are and most of the tokens are not listed in major exchanges and if that could happen then it might see a price increase.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened To The Monkey Capital ICO and Massive Crash On CoEval? on: August 15, 2017, 10:52:18 PM
Monkey Capital was an ICO scam. If you participated you will never see your money again.
It looks like it is a scam, i was planning to invest in it initially but before the real ICO started the ANN thread is bombarded with accusation and when it hit the market the price started going down as everyone was dumping and if not if you are not careful with these warning anyone would fell for these sort of ICOs.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: keep calm and buy the dips... on: August 14, 2017, 10:51:37 PM
5 months ago price went up above $1250 people started saying "will it come down so we can buy" then it came down to $800-$900 and i told them This is the dip to buy in
3 months ago again price went up from $1400 to $2755 and a lot of people were asking "is it a good time to buy bitcoin, will it come down to buy?" then there was a dip $1850 on 26 and 27 of May. and i told them This is the dip to buy in
you can see one of the topics here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1933765.0
With the price of bitcoin rising high ,i really do not think that the price would anyway go down that steep now,the people who were able to purchase the coins during the dip certainly made a huge amount of profit, the recent rise is certainly surprising as i did not predict the price to rise this much in a very small amount of time.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SELL NEO - - - - > STRAT?? on: August 10, 2017, 08:53:57 PM
I would hold it if I were you. NEO is now in top 10 coins and even plan to buy some in next 48 hours.
NEO could explode at the moment some ICO chose it as platform instead of ETH or WAVES.
So that summons up the recent price increase ,since this is the Chinese version of things and with the population they have and the interest they have with crypto currency,i should have noted well back, they changed the name and it was pissing me off ,when can we expect projects coming out of NEO platform.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Reality Clash - Turns Game into Reality - Bounty Promotion Program on: July 28, 2017, 09:11:44 PM
I just joined the signature bounty promotion but i could not find the avatar ,is there something missing or you will be providing the avatar later,if so do announce that in the main page so that everyone notices.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 14, 2017, 10:15:06 PM
It's never late, bitcoin will only be 21 million coins, if bitcoin succeeds in the long run, it can be worth every bitcoin 1 million dollars
It is a good dream to see the valuation of bitcoin over a million dollars, lets see what the price would be this August and then lets predict these sort of valuation. Cheesy I am sure everybody gets a chance to invest in the coming weeks.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 14, 2017, 10:00:44 PM
Question is, if you can use these 3-4 BTC for short-term investments. But for people who doesn't have time or knowledge, buy BTC is the best choice, I think.
It is generally a good option, but with the scaling news and the speculation that is going around,it is good to wait for some time before investing in it as news are coming out about a split in the network,so i would wait for some time before investing again.
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Review of Avalon-4.1 on: February 11, 2015, 08:07:36 AM
they should send a sd card preflashed for your rasp-pi what a p.i.t.a. to flash an sd with a mac.  gave up purchased a reader/writer for my windows 7 and flashed an sd card in under 30 minutes.

 Roll Eyes

Not a "p.i.t.a." unless you're doing it wrong. For future reference: sudo dd if=/path/to/file of=/dev/rdiskX bs=2M

135  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: www.lketc.com 1TH Dragon miner direct order. 3000$ on: November 08, 2014, 09:07:55 AM
Hi guys,

I have an issue with ordering miner from LKETC.
Initially I asked them if these (Dragon 1.5T) are in stock they told me to go ahead and order - so I did.
I ordered on 6/10 and ever since the problems started.
After 5 days of dodging they stopped answering my e-mails in which I was asking them when my order would be confirmed and shipped.
I cancelled my order 12 days ago and I aksed them to return my payment (in BTC). On the next day I received an e-mail from them (after 5 days of silence) and they simply said - OK.
I haven't received my BTC till this very moment. Does someone have any idea how to resolve this ?
again ,  contact Nancy directly at:  lketc.nancy@gmail.com  she's honest. i already made several deals with her , and never had any issue .  Smiley
cheers !

Honest? Nancy?

Yes, honestly, Nancy. If you don't believe that have happened I can publish our correspondence here chronologically.

I don't doubt that routine transactions are processed without a hitch - provided it involves handing her coin, and something of far lesser value being sent your way in return.

That doesn't make her, or LKetc honest - which I suspect you will find after more experience in dealing with them.

137  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Avalon4 (A3222, 28nm, ~25GHS, ~0.6W/G) sample chips available here: EHash.com on: November 04, 2014, 03:55:22 PM

<noise damping snip>

What you've done to the last few pages of this thread is crap post:
- pre-written / mostly quotes
- repetitive
- consisting mostly of non-sense or FUD

You are not adding to this thread or to this topic, instead you are just another noise source - which appears your specialty.

And no, I'm not a paid shill (not that people are ever accused of that unfairly):
I got screwed by Avalon during the loose chips fiasco, although I was "fortunate" enough to get %75 of my original USD investment. I was not compensated for the days/weeks of effort I expended in hardware design for avalon-based miners.

I confronted Yifu when he actually stuck his head in here, and I'd like to think my comments were responsible for his realization that Batch 3 Avalon customers STILL hadn't been refunded - which they subsequently were:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=269950.msg3031175#msg3031175
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242627.msg3037420#msg3037420

I'd also like to think that some of my less constructive post that day were at least partially responsible for disruptions to his "chi" that day. Smiley

All that said: Canaan-creative are NOT Avalon. In fact, Canaan-creative has done nothing but the opposite of Avalon: reliable, provide excellent support, support open source, and IMO make the highest quality and best designed miners around.

I do not hold Canaan-creative or any of their devs responsible for the incompetence of Yifu Guo, and feel those who do have either ulterior motives, are looking for a hand-out, or are bloviated gasbags like Bickellelsky. You know, the guy who on one hand criticizes Avalon, yet on the other has Asicminer as the top manufacturer in his self-moderated trustworthiness thread Smiley

Yes I am amazed they did not rename too...
If HashFast FailFast renamed and had in stock gear are they also forgiven?

Ignorant comparison, seriously people why don't you familiarize yourselves with the a situation before opening your yaps?

One more time people: Different crew, different product, and different company. IMO Canaan's only mistake has been to keep an association with the Avalon name.

The only real similarity to the two is their open source model (read: non-thieving). IMO Yifu's only positive contribution to the bitcoin-circus was his promotion of this ideal.
139  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive AMT 1.25TH Setup [HD] on: October 04, 2014, 07:05:45 AM
Looks to me to be just another Innosilicon ("Dragon") clone.

All A1 based miners will look very similar because there's only going to be one optimal way of designing things.

hah, that's one way of looking at it.. Another might be that Innosilicon provided a reference design to their chip sale customers - which has been duplicated en masse. These boards aren't just similar - they're identical.

This video shows the bitmine version, similarity ends at the rows of boards and heatsinks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2uLBYbWeN4
140  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: STOP BUYING MINING HARDWARE on: October 04, 2014, 02:31:59 AM
True, BTC is a big players game.

Waiting while those have to stop, because of cost/revenue makes BTC again for the people.

The developers should have put a limit of 10 BTC per month per btc address, per IP and per userID on the netwrork. 90% of those companies would seek another venture.. Then, it was really for the masses..

Nonsense, bitcoin mining has never been for the "masses".
