Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the ANN header and all that tech integrated into one product especially tree graph and smart contract. It was looking at the mother of all DLT. Now with this warning and a quick look at the OP post history is leading me to believe this is nothing much a scam.
No site, no team info, no WP, and they have a bank somewhere... oh my...

We have years of crypto and blockchain tech dev experience. Some marketing work is under process to let more people know our project.

The whole "team will be anonymous" line is so 2016.  The banner of anonymity has been used by numerous bad actors to scam the community and get away with it. You have a project claiming to have married some very tricky tech together and don't even have any paper to back it off of. At the very least, would expect a tech paper to at least demonstrate how the marriage came to be. Then, you've got the virus warning and your response is "the vendor" rather than pointing out the possible culprit that could have triggered the false positive.
None of this adds up and in my experience. If it doesn't add up, it never will

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC blocks Telegram with its $1.7 Billion token sale on: October 15, 2019, 02:41:54 PM
To be perfectly honest, the SEC acted right this time based on the following claims from Coindesk reporting "The SEC cited a “pitch to one United States-based investor around January 2018.” To attract the investor, “Telegram spoke of its “A+ engineering team” and the “chance for 0x-50x returns on the investments.”". With the above, they've matched the requirements for Howey test:
1. An investment of money.
2. In a common enterprise.
3. With an expectation of profits predominantly from the efforts of others.

The made people invest with the offer of profits from the efforts of their A+ engineering team.
They should have known better
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC blocks Telegram with its $1.7 Billion token sale on: October 15, 2019, 09:09:41 AM
What do you think Telegram should do next?

I think they are more likely to do what is in this article:

Report: Telegram’s ‘Force Majeure’ Clause Curbs Investor Compensation

In the end, investors are the biggest losers and they get the big losses

Oh my. Had no idea there was such a clause with the contract. Kudos to them for anticipating possible force majeure and outlining them clearly rather than leave it for a courtroom to decide. Looks like BTC halving is the only thing the SEC can't hammer on at this rate /s
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: October 14, 2019, 10:25:38 PM
Why is waves so low?
what do you mean low prices if yes about the price it does not matter because as it sometimes goes up sometimes down and now the waves are below the price but for their volume is still good and many people are still investing here, just be patient one day I am sure if the waves prices will rise again

The up and down movement is just normal in crypto trading. However, my main concern is that most of the waves assets are not doing good and almost all of them are not gaining any attention from the trading community. Is there any way to combat the dying waves assets? Honestly, only waves has decent value in the market while its assets created under their network has very little chance of making it good in crypto.
Yes, I agree that their assets do look bad and I am worried about all of that because they are afraid it will affect the wave itself and I notice that there may be too many garbage assets here so maybe the team should be more aware of the coin makers because for the good of this project too
It's decentralization, so I doubt the team can "police" or even have the bandwidth to monitor token issuers. Probably the best situation would be to have a reputation-based system where the community can just click to agree if a token is garbage or not. Ofc, doesn't eliminate the fact that ppl can hire folks to just "upvote" them, however, stuffs like age of the address, amount held could factor into the "weight" of the vote
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC blocks Telegram with its $1.7 Billion token sale on: October 14, 2019, 09:26:10 AM
https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2019-212

What detrimental effect would this have on other firms using their existing tools/software which are widely used and are then used to offer tokens to their massive user base?

Do you think this is just nit-picking by the SEC or do you think these are real concerns and not just technicalities which resulted in them halting the token sale?

What do you think Telegram should do next?

Definitely nitpicking by the SEC and while I'm not one to push or agree with conspiracy theories, the timing - so close to TON's distribution by the end of the month - smacks of ulterior motives. It seems to also follow the ongoing Facebook/Libra saga in which we have an influential, social media company issuing crypto that's bound to have far-reaching networking effect. However, this is one case I feel they're bound to lose because Telegram has been very tight-lipped about development, token issuance, and even any marketing of any sort that could result in that "only speculation, no utility" argument these agencies love to use.

Worst case scenario, settlement agreement.

In my view worst case scenario is not a settlement, there is a possibility the SEC will never grant permission for Telegram and its TON to go ahead.

And about Libra, there is still a chance no matter how small that Libra will not get off the ground, partners have pulled out leaving Facebook standing alone with several smaller lesser known partners.

The SEC is obviously sending out a strong signal to Telegram and others but its end game or objective still has not been made known. Surely it goes well beyond disruption and in to something else. Either the SEC will make future ICOs or token shares very difficult (or near impossible) or they are just laying down new parameters of what is expected by prospective organisations to comply with legislation before embarking on these types of projects.

I think their end game and objective has just become much more plainer: https://www.coindesk.com/sec-cftc-fincen-warn-crypto-industry-to-follow-us-banking-laws
Good ol' US of A retaining it's global, financial dominance and the dollar still reigning supreme. Certainly interesting times ahead for the global financial system, especially with certain states (and even countries - France, Portugal) pro-crypto via Bitcoin

if i had a nickle for everytime i saw a "throw in and buy back" profit share token
id have like 200 nickels Tongue
Very few actually go long term, most just end up scam
Im probably just jaded, but i tend to not invest in these things anymore. ill do the work trading myself, and not have to worry about being scammed

Nope. Not jaded, just bagholding common sense.
If the algo was so good, why would they be putting it out rather than profiting off it themselves? During the bull market, most folks could barely do no wrong putting their money into anything listed and chanting "you only lose when you sell" when their shitcoin takes a hit. But the bear's shown these bagholders going down with the ship or finding themselves adrift at sea and rudderless.

is there any latest news or a definite plan for when to open a frozen token? because I think people are already enthusiastic about waiting for this project

They've said it's going to be when their product launches sometime in Q1 next year. Seems like they are hoping that the utility of the token for their product will give it more value on exchanges rather than the usual speculation
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ultima Online: Dexezy on: October 11, 2019, 12:31:15 PM
ya you cant just throw around big names like that man haha
people actually have gotten cease and desists for using big names in their projects without their permission
plus, to me, it just seems dumb to try to piggyback like that without the company even knowing, seems bound to fail Tongue

EA does not prohibit the use of Ultima Online. In the public domain, about a hundred projects related to Ultima Online.

None of them are a "for profit", which this is whichever way you slice it. Oh, it's crypto and decentralized and not fiat... wrong. Will this tokens not be traded? Is the "founder" not going to have an allocation of them that they are selling? Oh wait, it's not selling, it's exchange, but can't they be exchanged for other assets (including those with real-world value)? Yes they can.
But then, I'm no lawyer. Just smooth brain logic. Can you provide us with your lawyer's legal review?
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xenios Coin (XNC) on: October 11, 2019, 12:20:48 PM
With presentation like that im surprised you ACQUIRED "investors money" hehe
so little info, hybrid PoW, ok, so what algo? whats the stats on the PoS part? just normal PoS or some funky DPoS or something?
An empty ANN is not a tease as some would believe, it just makes for a bad start to your coin : /

Stay Calm and Relax. All Explanations come the next days. We just need to add an incomplete announcemnt to gain the dates. In Few days we will edit our announcement ang upload our white paper. So Relax and enjoy the trip.

Impossible to actually know we're supposed to stay calm and relax because the information is incomplete. A simple disclaimer stating the current info is a WIP would have sufficient to allay any concern. You're also repeating the same mistake by not stating what a "few days" means. 368 days is still a few days compared to 3678921 days.

Oh man, this definitally gets a 10/10 on the Shitcoin Groan-o-Meter
Too Plain/boring of an OP, riddled with mistakes.
The description makes it sounds like your actual experience in crypto is extremely limited, dosen't instill confidence in you making a token successful Sad
Are you even asking for money for this? theres literally zero info on how your gonna distro this even haha

OP's  post history is even more troubling. Was last active on August 5th, 2018 prior to this post. You'd assumed someone's who's been in crypto for over a year wouldn't be tripping over the basics. Over a year hibernating then suddenly pulling a Lazarus today.

How is this affiliated with Ultima Online, a game over 2 decades old, way before there was any thoughts of blocks and chains in anybody's dream? Is there any endorsement from Ultima Online to use its brand name for such?

New place to trade MSP

I left off during the cryptopia episode and how they were gonna freeze tokens and change smart contracts and no trading. Seems that cliffhanger has been resolved now? MSP is such a tough cookie to crack and a tougher act to follow

No need to enter forkdelta on the list, what do you expect from an exchange that only has BTC10 trading volumes.

From 3 exchange on the list only Hotbit where Modex has trading volume, not a good view so far, Me and many holder need to keep this token much longer.

Yeah, you're right. Forkdelta listing isn't a listing since you can trade any ERC20 tokens there if the smart contract is unlocked and you have the address. LAToken is just a hot mess and Hotbit is bot haven. Wonder why it's not on Idex since that's a no brainer
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: October 08, 2019, 09:51:29 PM
I read in WP that you need new ambassadors. Do you pay in tokens, some crypto or it a free vacancy in your team ? What terms of creating Block Explorer for your token/chain, if I get some of SIGN today can you explain in simple words how to check transaction ?

Ambassadors: They are not direct team members but people understanding and supporting the project that are willing to take part of it and help bring value to it in any way, ether through helping get reach, spread about it, getting involved in building a side project using SIGN etc. It is not something they join for the "payment", there is no regular payment, just a reward system and couple of advantages like white listing to use app features.

Explorer: currently you can track transaction through wavesexplorer.com in future, we will have an explorer.sign-web.app where you will be able to list tx per address id etc and it will show the transaction in a more user friendly like currently in the web-app overview, example (see image)

Ouh cool, does the signitureChain project support for the local community, I see this is the work of the ambassador, and how many ambassadors are participants at the moment? Are there plans to add people to become ambassadors?

Currently we have three ambassadors in the project. We are always looking for more ambassadors.

So, the ambassadorial role is strictly for developers - those who have the ability to code and are looking to build on the ecosystem? No other roles available like evangelism, content, growth and such?

No not at all. It can include all sorts of growth, content, market research, community support, community managment. Anything that benefits the project really is welcome. Coding ofcourse would be really beneficial to the development of our project but those skills are more welcomed in the official team Smiley . For example one of our ambassadors is a digital artist that uses our certification web app to certify his digital art. He promotes it at events and on his social media's. I hope I helped you understand the ambassador role with this, if not, let me know.

Thanks for the clarifications. Not only did it informed, it also established some of the use cases for the product without having to swing the WP in one's face. Gonna give it another look and will be reaching out for more info/ways to engage further

I came here to lol at the turning cryptos to lambo and giving it away to charity and also berate the OP for continuing the stereotyping of the industry to mere moons and lambos. Will stick around for the scam accusations and the flimsy excuses that often accompany the defence
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Crypto-Potential | Proof-of-achievement system on: October 07, 2019, 05:39:14 PM
I see that you're partnering with Dcoin, P2PB2B, ... so are you guys going to plan IEO on it? Your project is pretty awesome, but the token sale should also be taken seriously.
I encourage you to apply for an IEO on Binance, because I see the vision and potential of your project. You can try your luck there.

We are not considering any IEO's at this moment. Dcoin and P2PB2B are partner service providers with us where blockchain projects can spend their mined QCP tokens.

Spend their mined QCP tokens?
Don't understand.
Dcoin and P2PB2B are exchanges, not merchant services - to the best of my knowledge - so how can you "spend" tokens over there? Could you please elaborate more on this?
