641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 08, 2018, 11:34:47 AM
I would like to buy few more around $80 than it will make this entry very safe it looking this coin is still under bear mode and we can see next dump in next coming days or this will move in upward direction. Next week is very important for ETH.
Doubt the fork is gonna mark that much of an impact.
Remember, the dump is not due to some whale/cartel manipulation. Rather, ICOs selling off in order to survive the general bear market plaguing both crypto and traditional stocks and run their day-to-day operations. The first hint was this: https://www.ccn.com/did-icos-cause-ethereum-to-drop-by-44-in-2-weeks-by-dumping-on-the-market/

642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bottom is near... on: December 07, 2018, 06:46:48 PM
The bottom is near how much more dipper are we going to be,
When would the market starts to recover,
We only have few weeks more before this year ends and we are stll dropping down.
You're building your portfolio on a December rally?  Grin Grin Grin
Not happening buddy, understand market psychology first - especially the confidence part.
We might have some sort of relief rally after the holiday seasons (extending seasons to include the Chinese New Year), but don't see any significant rally for the next year or so. And no, forget Bakkt
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Attention! Panic sale!!! on: December 07, 2018, 06:43:30 PM
people who sell their assets in panic are just people who can't control their patience and they are very easy to panic, don't be like that because it will bankrupt you and lose your money.
When it comes to market, someone's loss is another one's gain. Without panic sellers, we can't have confident winners. Not too many understand the circle of boom and burst nor the law of supply and demand. That's why there's one WARREN BUFFET, while everybody else quotes him
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fantom Partners with Multi Billion-dollar company on: December 07, 2018, 01:10:36 PM
Too much partnersheeps have been concluded during last 3 months. Nevertheless token price is below ICO price .
Do you remember hype around Fantom at the moment of tokensale?

Not their fault - the hype.
Market sentiment was in a "sky's not the limit, just the beginning" mode. Anything that will not forever be an ERC20 token was good news and Asian team were like the second coming.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: December 06, 2018, 04:41:46 PM
With the anticipated holiday sell-offs and stocks market not looking too hot right now, you can assume that $50 may not even be the bottom. Based on ConsenSys founder, Joseph Lubin, double-speak about possible layoffs

“We will more quickly declare projects a ‘learning success’ and disband them, enabling their elements – technology, technologists, and entrepreneurs – to diffuse back into the sea of potentiality and reconstitute into another project with the benefit of greater experience.”
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull market soon? Or a trap? 🤔 on: December 06, 2018, 04:35:26 PM
Don't see a bull run happening within the next year. Market confidence is eroding and even the traditional stock market is in a similar predicament. Holiday sell-offs first, the regulations to regain some sort of confidence before we can start talking about any sustainable uptick that is not a trap
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regulations and the Future of DEXs on: December 06, 2018, 12:42:01 PM
Here's something to chew on. Crypto assets may no longer be classified as securities according to a new bill proposed by U.S. Rep. Warren Davidson : https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-us-congressman-announces-plans-for-federal-cryptocurrency-and-ico-regulation

And Ohio, which the senator represents, recently passed a bill for people to pay their tax in Bitcoins.

Big picture incoming...
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN]⚡ [ICO/ReverseICO] Weave - The Universal Cryptocurrency for VR & AR on: December 06, 2018, 12:36:22 PM
Came here to summary glance at "Yet Another VR/AR Blockchain Project" and probably snark. Decided to find more munition on the site. Got blown by the achievements and pedigree of the team.
No WP at the moment?
Smiley Thanks!

Here's our Whitepaper

We are an existing business that is tokenising our community, not just any other VR/AR Blockchain Project launching an ICO with just a WP. We have a head office in US and offices in UK. Currently n the process of relocating our US headquarters to Malta for the opening of our token sale, in the New Year.

Currently we're taking registrations with a 30% discount to anyone that signs up before the New Year!

Tokenizing your community on stellar blockchain speaks volume about your intention and the direction you're looking to take the product. XLM is better suited for micropayments and its low transaction fee is a massive boon. Will give the WP a read and get back to you

Yes, we chose Stellar because of the low transaction fees, high levels of speed and security.

Most ICOs are built with ERC20 standard but we don't feel that it's quick enough for the micro-transactions of an app store, or virtual goods exchange. Having consulted with many Stellar developers, we are confident that using Stellar will allow us to develop smart contracts for the crowd funding aspect of our roadmap - a key part, that we believe will enable to VR/AR industries to reach it' s potential, with more content being created as a result.

Quick question: Will you guys be sticking to XLM post-ICO or will eventually launch your own blockchain. Couldn't find anything about that future direction.
Quick Suggestion: Might wanna add the link to the WP in the OP

So long as we can do everything on XLM, we’ll continue using that Blockchain.

All 5 version of our WP are in our original post, underneath the Welcome to Weave banner (English, Chinese, Russian, Korean and Japanese). I just linked you to the English version earlier because it was easier.
Sorry about that. Used to seeing them in hugh fonts and TLDR syndrome probably clicked in after seeing social media channel links (assumed everything under social media headers were links to respective language channels).
Thanks for the clarifications too

651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 Invox Finance 🔵 Invoice Lending -> PRESALE MARCH 15TH on: December 05, 2018, 10:52:09 AM
I was expecting a covering story on the results from the FBAA attendance where CEO of Invox participated in Australia couple weeks ago. It has been almost one month since we saw last announcement on partnership. It is fully understandable that building of business takes place but keeping in touch with interested people is also necessary.
It is true what you say, this project is actually no longer running or dying because there is no information submitted by the team to the public. if indeed this project is still running even though it is still being developed, there should be discussions between the team and the community so that this project does not look vacuum

You guys are better off addressing the team on TG. They are way more active over there and tend to give near immediate feedback. Think they've taken their eyes off BTT

After the coming crash we can be only in a better position. Hopefully. Also hopefully no crash coming and I am wrong in that bit.
The fallout from that crash is going to determine who's left and who's leaving. A few are starting to close up shop, but I don't think the shakeout is over. Riding the speculation wave daily was fun, back to tech fundamentals now
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: December 03, 2018, 03:20:56 PM
Credit seems to have a lot of partnerships going for it it's starting to beg the question how are these partnerships really going to benefit the platform or is the age of interoperability really upon us?
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regulations and the Future of DEXs on: December 02, 2018, 12:00:22 PM
I wonder why did etherdelta payed SEC? Why did they show their faces?
it is DEX, they don't need to register in SEC, there is no a requirement and any regulation.
Why does SEC try to take under control everything?

Someone seems to be trying to figure out the pattern just as much too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5078280.msg48355776#msg48355776

The salient question at the moment is "Is the SEC overreaching?"

PONZI sheme

It's definitely a ponzi. Toss in a few bots and you've got a surefire recipe.
Warren Buffet's quote is the only thing genuine about the venture. Devs have finally found a way of making money for themselves on their sleep
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 29, 2018, 11:23:22 AM
People fail to understand that the value of bitcoin when it is globally adopted (5 million+ people using it every day) will be far greater than any pump and dump shit coin.

Oh you mean like how BTC easily has that many users now, and BSV is a p n' d shitcoin?

By the way the thread for your new altcoin seems very quiet and boring, wonder why that could be..

Oh, its the censorship, that's right.

Good thing for you this thread is unmoderated so you can continue to spout your baseless pumpasms.
So Satoshi created a brand new account in order to promote SV when he could just login to his old one and pump the shit out of his fork?
Damn.
He lost the blockchain and his smarts too it seems Grin
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM - ONE MORE POSSIBLE MOVE DOWN BEFORE MARKET RECOVERY on: November 29, 2018, 09:28:02 AM
Will probably go sideways all the way to February - have Christmas, New year, Valentine day, and Chinese New year sell-offs to contend with unless most folks are selling off now ahead of those holidays. Doubt most are that foresighted
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Blockchain Timeline Explained – AWAX 2019 on: November 28, 2018, 05:14:54 PM
Quite the list - impressive list of partnerships you've got:

JP Morgan
Paypal
Visa
Stripe
Google Pay
DHL...

Oh my...

Any evidence of this though? Talk is cheap they say. Jpg are cheaper. Centra and a few others are still fresh in our memories, so, where's the evidence of this lustrous partnerships or do we have to start reading lines (and there are plenty to read that doesn't sit well) and call foul?

waves is coming to your smartphone this week!

Finally!
Would be glad to be rid of the current Android wallet. Just too clunky and limited. And with the new support for stable coins, got one less bothersome exchange to worry about
