581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zano on: January 05, 2019, 07:48:39 PM
When will you launch it??

We going to launch first public test net in January and then if stress tests passed well then we gonna launch production in Feb

Dear friend
When will BBR holders can swap from BBR to Zano? The conversion rate is 1:1 or ... and how long it takes!

My friend, as long as nobody knows the amount of created zoin coins, any specific conversion rate does not make any sense. If the distributed number of zoin coins is around the number of bbr coins, then it makes sense, but nobody knows.

i hope it is. Anything else would be quite retarded.

It has no logic that number of max coins would be the same. Zano will for sure have higher max supply then BBR.

It will be also interest to see how will Zano compete with two new Mimblewimble coins that are also coming in January Grin and Beam.
beam is already out, though Grin intrigues me the most. However, Zano's WP is the most impressive of them all. Personally, I'm sticking to Zano based on the strength of its WP and the reputation of the team - weird, right? Would like to know if the swap is 1:1 though
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MERITOCRATIC LAB - NEW TOKEN RELEASE on: January 05, 2019, 07:35:11 PM
Very admirable goals you've got:

"The MRC token will have a spending constraint on activities where it will be aimed at personal growth and the individual’s usefulness: no more economic benefits that can be spent in vices and uselessness (eg tobaccos, games of chance, etc.) but goods / services always and however aimed at improving the psycho-physical well-being of the person (example training courses, language courses, professional courses, hobbies, art, culture, music, libraries, libraries, sports associations, gyms, technical clothing , spa treatments, medical studies, etc.)"

So, no speculations or other such vices with your crypto then. Nice office and boardroom you've got btw. Fortunately, photoshopping is not a vice, so let's have more fakes please. Oh wait, you're projecting the future? Future boardroom and offices? Why didn't you say so? We can all speculate such "how much crowdfunding raise" game of chances too  Cool

This is a scam bounty.
The CEO of BQT confirmed it on telegram:

584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: December 28, 2018, 11:21:03 PM
hold 100 ETH and I will receive 300 ETCV. So if price 1 ETH = 100 $ then 1 ETCV = 33.33 $. Is it correct ?

This is a bet and we are considering the profit when deciding to hold ETH to receive ETCV.
this question is of interest to all those present here, what will be the price and how will the Ethereum be calculated for the recalculation and payment of ETCV
where should Ethereum be located-on the exchange or on the wallet?

You must hold ETH in your personal wallet.

There are lots of coins nowadays are pumping and dumping... It is better to hold ETH and BTC for now.
Neither BTC nor ETH has been immune to the PnD syndrome currently plaguing the market. Have a few cryptos that I'd rather hold compared to both, but it's a question of DYOR, perspective, and fundamentals rather than playing the market
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zano on: December 28, 2018, 02:03:45 PM
I hope not to end up with BBR.When is the launch?

We plan to start first public testnet in January and make stress tests on it to see if everything is ok.
Production network launch is planned on February.
How to get ZANO

You can get Zano by PoW mining or buy on exchange.

Can you exchange BBR with the above? What is the specific way?
Swapping is not yet available it seems. neither is the wallet. Giving the WP a read and not only is it illustrative and thoroughly thought out, I'm actually being carried along rather than having terms slammed on my head
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neluns - The Next Exit Scam after Raising Over $100 million? on: December 28, 2018, 01:18:42 PM
The saga of Neluns - THE AMERICAN COMPANY that keeps giving continues:
They've recently asked all bounty hunters to deposit Eth first in order to redeem their tokens. The following are from their bounty channel on Telegram https://t.me/neluns_bounty:

Sometimes, I wish someone was making this whole thing up
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Token SALE] USDX Wallet — payment solution on the blockchain on: December 28, 2018, 01:02:20 PM
I was wondering if anyone is interested in buying this coin?

I don't know how much has been collected because the funds collected are not showing on website
Here: https://www.coingecko.com/en/ico/usdx-wallet I can find that they have raised $1,750,000, who knows if this information is true.
But I would like to know if the company seems to you legit? They are giving 35% bonus to the first purchase and that seems little bit fishy or?
A stablecoin airdropping the crypto equivalent of fiat doesn't raise any eyebrows? I mean there's no law/rule against airdropping stablecoins - since they're most utility, but this still feels a tad bit off imho.
The working app and team background is a plus. However, the features of their LHT comes off more as a security - by Howey Test standard.
Very conflicting
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PHL] Placeholders – x16r PoW/No Premine/Decentralized AWS/Google Cloud on: December 28, 2018, 09:54:06 AM
Lucas,

We only posted it here now as we were waiting for our fork to X16r to be complete, and to be sure there were no serious issues. We already have a very active community and did not want to post here until we had something new to bring to the table that warranted an announcement. That being said, we're glad to have you!

ok, thanks for clarifying, I'm checking the project
do you have a mining calculator?

not worth to cloud mine it now that it's listed on c-cex, right?

its not lsited on c-cex? Its on Crex24. Idk about cloud mining but if you have some GPU's then its definitely worth it
It's listed already? Was waiting for WP and team info before getting on board, but looks like the project really is moving faster than anticipated. Any idea where to get a hold of some reading materials about the project and team info?
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: December 27, 2018, 09:48:01 PM
bitcoin have fork to bitcoin cash , bitcoin cash sv , bitcoin diamond , ETC

eth have eth , etc , etcd , etcv what next?

Then there will be a lot of things, which is good - it means that cryptocurrencies are developing and the market is growing.
No, it means originality has hit the bottom of the barrel unfortunately.
Litecoin was a BTC fork. So was Dash and many other cryptos.
Tomo, NebulaAI, Perkle are ETH forks, but you don't hear them branding themselves as ETH-blah-blah-blah. This whole using an establish brand name feels like the developers are not confident that the project can stand on its own two feet
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: December 27, 2018, 09:44:31 PM
Sounds legit  Roll Eyes
putting The End of ETH Classic on your website as the way to describe your project and named it as ETH Classic Vision.
just like Bitcoin Cash and any other fork out there, what is the point having more cryptocurrency if you do not solve the problem? when the bear comes again in the future, this project will be abandoned again and there will be a new one called ETH Classic Vision V.2
starting to get tired of this fork, claimed to be the vision about a project that failed to meet their expectation.

Guess if you hang around long enough, some of these broken clocks may eventually be right - twice in 1440 minutes.
Impressive odds already.
But the whole ETC/BSV name mash-up is a tadbit worrisome for me. No one's saying a fork is original, but come on, couldn't have come up with at least a better name?
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Proelio PEO [MN/POS] - controlled number of masternodes. HIGH ROI ALL TIME on: December 27, 2018, 09:03:28 AM
It is unique that Peoelio aims to pioneer settlement in real estate transactions.
The goal also makes sense, and if it becomes a stable coin it will draw attention from the world.
A fun project.
Real estate settlement blockchain with masternodes?
Made me do a doubletake. Now, I'll have to go read the WP to see how real estate will come into play - where will the estates be based? Who are the teams and what's their real estate qualifications? Are the estates taxable...

..........................

WP read, no info
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: December 26, 2018, 03:37:21 PM
Can't find any team information to make any credible assessment of the team's capabilities - without Satoshi Vision ringing in one's ear, but WP seems to be well thought-out/researched and addresses Ethereum public concerns. I'm more interested in the VisionDEX though, cross-chain exchange will address a lot of concerns.
Meanwhile, what's the max supply?
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: December 26, 2018, 03:22:37 PM

Seele in Shenzhen and Beijing offices have been closed down, and the layoffs are over 80%

Is it the beginning of the end? What is happening? Seems like someone didn't sell ETH for a good price or just trying to scam people.
Nobody could have predicted this protracted crypto winter and we've all learnt now that those analysts predicting BTC at $15k EOY know just as much as we do about crypto market movement. It's sad to see the quest for decentralization and empowerment stumble in the face of these hurdles, but better days lie up ahead. Heart goes out to the laid-off staff
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 26, 2018, 02:06:51 PM
Waves has really been stable despite the recent market mood swings. This is one of those rare moments where I wished I had stuck to my oars and kept on paddling rather than lost sight and jump ship. These expensive mistakes...
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is IOTA a scam? on: December 26, 2018, 01:44:57 PM
IOTA isn't s scam 100%, but people sometimes want to believe in miracles) And their hopes are not IOTA problems. Price of IOTA sometimes goes to some unbelievable levels and this is just because of speculations of traders.
This is one of the most logical and well-informed response. IOTA is not a scam based on what I've bothered to look up so far - more or less a victim of speculations and a few powerful holders shaking up the market ahead of projected development.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yggdrash ( TRUST-based Multi-dimensional Blockchains ) on: December 24, 2018, 09:52:47 AM
Feels like I'm reading a heavily redacted file.
What debacle? What article?
Having a massive disconnect between what is being said and what is being implied. Can anybody fill me in?
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [ANN] [STO] BlockEstate Alpha Fund - Polymath ST-20 Token Overview 🌟🚀 on: December 23, 2018, 10:37:31 PM
That requirement of $5000 for main sale immediately after what people will have spending on Xmas and New year activities looks pretty high. I don't say you will not find investors but middle class investors may not be able to be part of it. It is still huge money for large majority of people to cut off $5k for any kind of investment. I have it on my watch list to see further.
My thoughts exactly! Barring institutional investors, finding $5000 to chip into a token offering during this holiday season for the average guy may be a tall order - unless Santa does something about it. I'll be watching from the sidelines too
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TrueUSD ( TUSD ) . What is the total supply of this token ? on: December 23, 2018, 11:06:09 AM
I don't know very well. At present, I still rely more on USDT. It is the original stable currency. Although there are certain shortcomings, I think this is the most powerful coin. I have not used TUSD. This takes a long process.
The whole Tether audit is turning into a very ugly saga.
Yes, it's the first stablecoin, but in technology, the first doesn't mean it always gonna be the one (just ask Myspace).

https://blog.zerononcense.com/2018/12/22/breaking-central-bank-reports-prove-bitfinex-tether-do-not-have-banking-in-the-bahamas-with-deltec/

And the fact that most exchanges are now adding other Stablecoins mean things are not really well with the House of Finex
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN][FIN] Finatch Decentralized Crypto exchange | $FIN PoW/PoS Blockchain on: December 21, 2018, 09:51:41 PM
a lot of support is flowing for this project, this will be the beginning of success for this project, hopefully all will be in line with expectations and will achieve success as expected.
Not support mate, go back a page or two and you'll see that they're all bots/thread bumpers. Check the posting history of these accounts and you can easily map out their activity concentration. Guess initial suspicion about the project was right

😂😂 why so salty huh? Maybe he too is a bot perhaps 😃😃
Negativity shortens life bruh
Salty? Apparently, you haven't tasted salt before.
Maybe a bot? Possibly - better specs though and processing power.
Negativity shortens life? You're some sort of Methuselah or something like that? Is this your reincarnation, newb or just trying to project some sort of relevance?
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Glyff - privacy preserving smart contracts and beyond on: December 21, 2018, 09:17:22 PM
Have a question.
What's the different between Glyff and Enigma (ENG) and what's Glyff's cutting-edge compared to tech like Enigma?
Skimmed through the site and couldn't figure out of it's middleware or entirely whole new blockchain. Will have to give the WP a thumbing through

Thanks for your question. Some of the differences between Glyff and Enigma are briefly touched in our "Investor whitepaper", you can read it at https://glyff.io/download?glyff-ip.
Enigma uses "homorphic encryption" and secure enclaves to guarantee secrecy, where-as Glyff uses zero-knowledge cryptography and does not rely particularly on any hardware.
Additionally, Glyff is based on the new "Sapling" upgrade of Zcash proven technology, bringing in superior performances and security.
For the purpose of pre-sale and ICO we will be launching as an ERC20 token but we will roll-out our own blockchain in 2019.
Wow!
That was better than I'd anticipated. Your response actually made me download the WP and read it. It's almost a rarity to see projects acknowledging the existing blockchain solution and pointing out their shortcomings. Giving it a thorough reading. Will be back
