Difficulty is way off and needs fixing ....
The last 30 days there should have been about: 30 * 24 * 60 * 2 = 86400 blocks. In reallity there where about 48320 from block 488600 to 536920. That is about 60% of what it should be. I get a lot of complaints from miners that they do not get as much coins as the expect to get, not sure what the cause is but this should improve!
That's actually great news. Less inflation and less dilution is good for any coin. And I think it's fairly normal - most coins I hold do not hold to their predicted block schedule. No that is NOT good news. Casinocoin was ment to have a block time of 30 seconds which is important for fast handling of transactions. Now sometimes it takes 15 minutes for a block to be found so that impacts transaction speed and scares away miners which are needed to process the transactions. If we want Casinocoin to succeed as a crypto for casinos we need to get back to those 30 second average block times. Be it 35 or 40 seconds is not a problem but now its way too irregular.

OK, here it goes, .... a first BETA version of the android casinocoin wallet. Go to https://github.com/ajochems/casinocoin-android-wallet/releases/tag/v0.9.0 to download the apk file. It is a non-signed development apk so you need to set your android device in developer mode and sideload it onto a device using the android sdk toolkit. Execute the adb tool with: adb -d csc-wallet-0.9.0.apk Later on a production ready, signed version will be uploaded to the Google Play store. Please use GitHub issue management to report any issues! Enjoy! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FW4GsOHR.jpg&t=663&c=t3RNWft8r2YnJA) Any plans for an iPhone release or is Apple still crushing crypto app innovation? This version is completely java based and a native android application. So this is not portable over to iOS. Apple just recently removed the ban on Bitcoin wallets so in the near future there will probably popup some new iOS Bitcoin wallets. If have not the time to build one bottom up but i'll be happy to fork one over to Casinocoin when a good Bitcoin wallet appears.

Sell side is really thin on Cryptsy. Some serious hoarding is going on ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have been stashing up my mined coins as i am convinced this coin is way under valued, ... just enabled auto-deposit/sell to cryptsy again so there should be a few 1000 csc extra to buy every day. Man I hate autosell. That crap destroys a coins trade price I always autosell at highest price which is the second sell price. I can not see how that would destroy the trade price? If i would decide to sell manually at this moment i would also sell at or arround that value. What does have a negative impact at the trade price is selling at the buy price.

Some good news i think ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ..... i did a fork of BitcoinJ (actually on the Digitalcoin fork of BitcoinJ as it already had made some important changes) and created CasinocoinJ as a Java casinocoin client. This fork can be used to create all kind of Java based Casinocoin applications, being web, desktop or mobile. Take a look at https://github.com/ajochems/casinocoinj and try the build. When i run the example it gets stuck on block 719 during download, ... not sure yet whats the issue. I also would like to get a clear list of changes made to casinocoin in v1.2.0 to see if i need to make changes to CasinocoinJ. Using CasinocoinJ will allow me to create a Casinocoin fork for Andreas Schildbach’s Android bitcoin wallet which will be my next step, .... yes i dropped my previous attempt to create a hybrid mobile wallet as the server part was giving me too much trouble and i decided i do not want the responsibility of online coin storage in light of the recent C-CEX problems. This variant will store its own wallet on the device! 1.2.0 has KGW v2 and digishield. These will affect the diff calcs. I have KGW now also added to CasinocoinJ (digishield will follow) but those kicked in at 227000 for v1.1 and 445000 for v1.2. I now solved the previous errors when downloading the block chain and have the blockchain now downloaded up to block 5760 but there it gets stuck on a difficulty change again. Anybody know if anything special happened at this block? -> http://csc.blockexp.info/block/0290be2a686d4bcfa7aa3069ecea68638a64d687b1a0cc7e4d6e19010225c082

Ok so traced it back to the difficulty changes, duhh, ... but i also need to include all changes like KGW and Digishield as well, ... can someone point me too those changes in the original code so i can see how to port those over to java?

Thank You for Your opinions. I just want to make one thing clear: it is not a situation when we just missed important update. We did update from links of the thread exsists even now. But I had no idea that owner was changed and new thread was started. I also did not get any notification from owner or developer like I usually get from other coins. I just open btctalk - found source link and update. I did everything required from me. So I think this situation is very much different. That's why I started this discussion.
I think it is clear that C-CEX is not to blame here for this situation, neither the community. We simply needed to rally to save this coin that has such great potential!! I feel sorry for the users/customers that lost money over this but i think they can not hold C-CEX nor the community responsible for this. In the volatile and unmature market that CryptoCurrency still is you always need to watch your back and double check before doing large transactions. If it seems to good to be true (like a much lower price than on other exchanges) it generally is ....

Your transaction has actually taken place on the correct block chain and you sent your coins to wallet address CQ1wXJx81Gba1KzoKy2gBRP27JRTBzSWn8 which is probably created by c-cex. They should still have the wallet that contains that address and in your case your coins should be actually save, ... that is if they choose to correct their wallet onto the correct block chain. Also up to the fork c-cex did not move almost any coins at all. Very little transactions took place there, almost all trading was done at cryptsy. It is obvious that some miners that were on the wrong chain abused c-cex to sell their now non-existing coins. I think we can not hold the community responsible for that. As i stated before, when i started https://www.megamineros.com/csc back in december i made some horrible mistakes. I decided that i did not want to lose the momentum and i payed about 50.000 CSC in compensation to users. That is the risk you take as a pool or exchange. C-CEX can either try to get their hands on to the csc sellers and have them pay, reimburse the users themself or notify the users that they will not reimburse them and that they lost their coins. Leasons learned for the dev team is to make sure alle pools and exchanges are aware of forks or updates long before they happen as in this case we seamed to have missed C-CEX!

Oh and barbeq just made his first post ever on bitcointalk.org and BillTech has not been active on the CSC forum either so to me it seems your votes are not valid here, .... maybe you are customers of c-cex?

3. In mid of June I got in touch with new owners of CSC and realized that infact there is newer version than I had from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=258090.0 I recompiled it immediately and got huge discrepancy of CSC. New wallet's balance become 28944 CSC instead of 1356475 CSC it should have to cover user's balances and initiated withdrawals that sent to wrong chain. So now we have discrepancy of 1327531 CSC. 4. Solution is simple. I would like to request CSC dev to include this coins for c-cex customers to new blockchain. It is technicaly possible and dev is ok with that, but this needs to be aproved by CSC community. I hope You will approve it and our customer's will be able to use their CSC that they should have. I am not so sure yet, ... 1.3 million coins is quite a bit and i would like to know a bit more about those customers. Everybody active in the cryptocurrency knows by now that you need to be actively involved in the community if you either mine or trade certain coins in large quantities. If i have issues with my mining pool i am sure i would have to solve it myself and if i lost 1 million coins of users i would either have to pay those myself or loose all my users because of it. I do not think the community would rush to help me solve the problems, .... eventhough i have been supporting this coin from december onwards taking losses on running a pool that does not cover its running costs. But as i am into this coin for the long run as others supporting CSC i take my loss for now and hope it will give me an edge in the future if the coin starts to be profitable. So just giving the coins like that sounds a bit too easy for me! Anyway, ... in this case i would like to know: - are we talking about 1 or 2 or a lot of customers that have their coins missing? - are those customers prepared to disclose their identity (either to all or a few main coin devs) - supply the transaction id's of the transactions in question here If you or your customers do not want to supply that information publically i would want to receive that privately and investigate a bit futher the transactions behind those 1.3 million coins before deciding if i would agree to giving those coins. Do not get me wrong that i know it is very important to have exchanges like c-cex onboard with CSC but we are talking a lot of coins here ...

I don't know why there is any discussion about people having large amounts of CSC. Everybody is able to acquire coins by either mining (like myself) or through buying. Allthough a lot of people are holding on to their CSC at this moment because of its potential to increase in value you still can get your hands on about 1.000.000 csc for about 2600 dollar. That is a very small investment in my opinion. If that is too much for you buy 10.000 or 100.000 CSC but stop complaining about others that are taking the risk to invest their time and money in this coin!!

when it comes to mining pools i think someone should create a profit switching pool which pays out in casinocoins, i would do it but my skills stop at basic coding languages, ive been watching a couple recently and they have been growing much quicker than your average pools, like this one for example ( http://www.cryptotrain.net ) for ultra coin If we had one of these pools that would be a HUGE advantage for CasinoCoin and would help spread the coin around. Anyone have the ability to do this, haven;t found any open source pools that have this feature yet. Some questions: - Which coins and algoritms should be supported at minimum? - Is Cryptsy the only exchange with a good API where CSC is traded? - Should the CSC buy transaction take place at highest buy price + .00000001 or the lowest sell price? - Will the double transaction costs still make the payout in CSC profitable to miners?

they were a little unclear but they suggested a mininmum of $300 a month if they get it working, no way i can afford that atm.
I will try and see if i can set it up allong side https://www.megamineros.com/CSC as i already have experience setting up several needed parts like coin deamons, stratum servers and MPOS frontend. The installation seems pretty straight forward. I'll keep you posted ...

11.5 BTC buy order in at 0.00000394 ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I saw that, our whale is back and he's the highest bidder too. So this isn't just to set in a floor, this guy wants to buy more coins. But why and who would want that many CasinoCoins and why wouldn't he wanna be stealthy about it? Could be a number of different reasons, but at this point it's great to have buy support with all the small auto sell going on. As for the seeds, they were left the same as embicoin said they were fine(which may not be the case as casinoco.in is offline) to run seeds at casinocoin.org is possible correct ? We could do this Yeah we'll address the seed issue this weekend. I'll setup a couple. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Casiocoin, would you be able to put in some A records in the casinocoin.org zone once I have IP's for you? Maybe eventually we can convert this seed list over to a single SRV record. I also always have 162.242.227.236 up and running along side 162.242.217.120 which is of norteamerica.megamineros.com. They have been online since december and will be in the future!
