OK, here it goes, .... a first BETA version of the android casinocoin wallet. Go to https://github.com/ajochems/casinocoin-android-wallet/releases/tag/v0.9.0 to download the apk file. It is a non-signed development apk so you need to set your android device in developer mode and sideload it onto a device using the android sdk toolkit. Execute the adb tool with: adb -d csc-wallet-0.9.0.apk

Later on a production ready, signed version will be uploaded to the Google Play store. Please use GitHub issue management to report any issues!

Ive got my tablet I could load this up on is it hard getting into developer mode etc?

Attempting my first transactions now, got the wallet to work on my tablet although I did not do the last step to execute the adbtool will that be a problem?

FYI - Someone asked what block the subsidy would be cut with the new release. Currently, in the dev code I had this set to 650,000. However, for the July 18 release, this will be changed to the estimated block count for July 18 plus 28800. This will cause the adjustment to kick in around July 28th approximately. The reason for the slight delay is to allow the client to circulate before the subsidy cut.

Any plans for an iPhone release or is Apple still crushing crypto app innovation?

This version is completely java based and a native android application. So this is not portable over to iOS. Apple just recently removed the ban on Bitcoin wallets so in the near future there will probably popup some new iOS Bitcoin wallets. If have not the time to build one bottom up but i'll be happy to fork one over to Casinocoin when a good Bitcoin wallet appears.

The last 30 days there should have been about: 30 * 24 * 60 * 2 = 86400 blocks. In reallity there where about 48320 from block 488600 to 536920. That is about 60% of what it should be. I get a lot of complaints from miners that they do not get as much coins as the expect to get, not sure what the cause is but this should improve!

That's actually great news.  Less inflation and less dilution is good for any coin.

Someone's been hitting us with either ASIC or a GPU farm. I noticed one guy on mineros had ~220MH. The difficulty has been raising to 19, then dropping to 5-8, then going back up again. It's not as bad as the multiminer issue in March, but it's still affecting block rewards.

No that is NOT good news. Casinocoin was ment to have a block time of 30 seconds which is important for fast handling of transactions. Now sometimes it takes 15 minutes for a block to be found so that impacts transaction speed and scares away miners which are needed to process the transactions. If we want Casinocoin to succeed as a crypto for casinos we need to get back to those 30 second average block times. Be it 35 or 40 seconds is not a problem but now its way too irregular.

The price has been maintained because there is alot of CSC hoarding going on. People aren't stupid. They know that we're going to reduce the block reward soon. hehe

BTW, casinocoin asked for July 18th to coincide with the anniversary of the coins launch. Following that date, block reward will get reduced about 28800 blocks later - estimated 10 days. So buyer got a little more of a reprieve, but after that a coin is probably going to cost you a lot more.

Yeah this is a problem due to the coin coming to the top of the profitability list several times a day causing large multipools to switch over to CSC and creating difficulty spikes. Over time when the difficulty evens out, block times will become more regular.
