1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you buy something with a cryptocurrency? on: March 26, 2018, 09:12:44 AM
I didn’t buy anything but sometimes I receive btc for my work.

Did you buy something with a cryptocurrency?

Yeah, but mostly through online
I mean cryptocurrency is not really advancing its technology in my country

I usually paid my services with Cryptocurrency like Btc(in the past) or ETH(Current preferred method)
It is a really good user experience damn, no Credit/Debit card details needed for payment, just an address and everything is fine

Love it!

1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What criteria do you use to analyze ICOs? on: March 25, 2018, 03:49:34 PM
Hey guys, I am trying to develop a model to price and score ICOs. I believe this model can potentially help a lot of people. By developing a model that is as objective as possible, I can start to accurately rank and score ICOs. This will help to weed through all of the scams and junk out there. I just wanted to know what are some objective criteria that you use???

The things I can think of so far.

Team- Various objective criteria
Coin- Various objective data like hard cap and discount
Vision- What needs are the project solving
Project Value- which blockchain, status of product, alpha, beta stage etc..
Concerns- competiton
etc...

I appreciate any input! Thanks

Among all these, i would believe that

Team- Various objective criteria
Coin- Various objective data like hard cap and discount
Vision- What needs are the project solving
Project Value- which blockchain, status of product, alpha, beta stage etc..
Concerns- competiton
etc...

I am more towards possibility of success and how far it can go
First of all
Team is kinda important because you can see if their background is just Business based or they are some Technology enthusiast.
Next, Hardcap is one of my concern because i would prefer coins with lower HCap because IMO they don't need that much
Vision must be reliable and realistic
Finally, Blockchain selected is important because each have different pros and cons in terms of scaling, framework and structure
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should invest in CyberMiles or Ripples? on: March 25, 2018, 03:43:30 PM
I am confused between investing in CyberMiles and Ripples, I do not know which coin to invest and hold. Who can give me the best advice?

I am not sure about if Cybermiles is good as i remember they actually did very great in their ICO

However, if i were you, i would prefer to go on Ripples as they seems to be able to process tons of TX/sec and scaling it more and more
Next, they are closest to what the centralized media/partner needed
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for 2018 that is very cheap now? on: March 24, 2018, 07:09:05 PM
KNC
Neblio
ADA shall be good if you are one of the past IOTA liked investor
Some good and potential one that i think is Quantstamp and Request Network - Very updated project and good community
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50'000 USD to invest NOW on: March 23, 2018, 04:08:15 PM
Hello guys,

I'm already in Crypto since march 2017 and made a decent amount of money to pay off my bills and some holidays.

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.

I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.

My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.

Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.

PS: Please do not suggest unknown or shitcoins. (I know those may make a good money but I am not confident on putting so much money in these).

DZ

Yeah, you made a great research and indeed it will work out IMO
ICON would always be one of the good coins that should be invested or included in your portfolio, it is consider as a good investment to be add on because of
1) Nature of Project
2) Koreans xd
3) Hype (It has tons of hype on it, i mean connecting university, healthcare, banks and etc together is something big)
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We should be thankful of whales, not hate them on: March 23, 2018, 06:56:23 AM
Please think about it. If it weren't for whales, prices wouldn't be pumped up. I purchased coins when they were near their highest and at least I have hope because I believe a plethora of whales can pump them back up sometime this year. Even if the project is a great project, there is no way we can expect the coin to rise in value unless there is mass adoption, which I don't see it anytime soon. So therefore, we should not fear whales but rather thank them.  Wink

Yeah, i don't think whales is the problem in a market except pumping
I mean without whales, there wont be a huge injection of cash flow into the market. Without that huge injection of cash, the market awareness would be low. Thanks to them, they create tons of awareness for the industry
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: March 23, 2018, 06:53:15 AM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat (the airdrop is closed by now)

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

I mean yea, airdrops is good. But mainly a legit and genuine project airdrops are good but not all
I took part in tons of airdrop in the past but yeah, the recent airdrop hype is just tons of Trash Airdrop + ICO coins which won't really work imo, only 5-10% will be successful
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 3 MOST UNDERVALUED CRYPTOCURRENCIES on: March 22, 2018, 04:30:22 PM
1) Dubaicoin - working with Dubai government to go paperless, advising Saudi government and Sharjah, will have Islamic Banking on blockchain, working on their own exchange which will have a fiat gateway. Early on in project. No big exchanges yet - cryptopia best option.
2) Banyan Network - ties with High Performance Blockchain and Loopring. Founder of AliPay cofounder and advisor is ex VP of Alibaba. A Dream team. Only on BIBOX and not on CMC. Banyan Network covers data collection, cleansing, integration, and applications of complete business chains, developed theories such as “three laws of data value” and mechanisms such as “tripartite model”.
3) Dovu - mobility token. Working with BMW and other companies on pilot projects. Backed by Jaguar Land Rover and Creative England (government). Only on HitBTC.

All these are less than 10m market cap

Only heard of DOVU and someone actually suggested me even months ago and said its a token that can easily x10-20 based off the nature of project and the marketcap
Dovu has only 4M marketcap at the moment gosh
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex will remove 82 tokens on: March 22, 2018, 04:29:02 PM
The complete list of tokens that will be left by Bittrex:

8BIT, ADC, AM, AMS, APEX, ARB, BITS, BITZ, BLC, BOB, BSTY, BTA, CCN, CRBIT, CRYPT, DAR, DGC, DRACO, DTC, FC2, FRK, FSC2, GEMZ, GHC, GP, GRT, HKG, HYPER, HZ, J, KR, LXC, MAX, MEC, METAL, MND, MTR, MZC, NAUT, NET, NEU, NTRN, OC, ORB, PRIME, PXI, ROOT, SCOT, SCRT, SFR, SLG, SLING, SOON, SPRTS, SSD, STEPS, STV, SWING, TES, TIT, TRI, TRK, U, UFO, UNIQ, UNIT, UNO, UTC, VIOR, VIRAL, VP, WARP, XAUR, XBB, XC, XCO, XDQ, XPY, XQN, XSEED, XTC и YBC.

  • 28 tokens will be deleted due to a faulty lock or if the project purse does not allow you to withdraw funds.

The rest are removed because no one needs (weak liquidity)

The move is kinda good
Look at all these coins, how many of these coins are actually having ongoing development or increase in the use case or adoption?

I believe perhaps it has among all the 82 but it would need to be improve more in this case
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Twitter actually going to ban off Crypto in their Ads? on: March 22, 2018, 01:59:32 PM
As many others have said, there may be a cleanup. Unless it's something really solid business related to crypto, they will not publish the ads.
I don't see it as a ban. I see it as a call for normality. Let's not promote each and every business, no matter how shady it is, in the name of crypto.
And in this view, it's not anymore a contradiction with the CEO beliefs.

Yeah, it might be more of a cleanup it seems
Normality hmm like Facebook and google i believe?

Anyhow guess it is consider a step of revolution and undergo it seems to be good and smooth for a long term
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is Twitter actually going to ban off Crypto in their Ads? on: March 22, 2018, 09:49:22 AM
In the past few days, there's rumours that Twitter is going to ban off Ads related to Crypto and ICO

However, the news today
https://usethebitcoin.com/jack-dorsey-twitter-ceo-believes-bitcoin-will-become-the-worlds-currency/

Hence in this Case, is there contradict within this or the CEO doesn't deal with all these policies?
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selfkey (KEY), TheKey (TKY) or Civic (CVC), which one will be the winner? on: March 22, 2018, 09:37:46 AM
I think KNY is more important than ever, so all coins/tokens with the goal to make identity verification easier should be welcome (especially in the area of ICO's)

Made a short research but couldn't determine the real winner:

Selfkey:
- based on ETH +
- huge team
- one advisor is founder of IOTA +
- working demo product +
- acting globally +
- medium market awarness (small telegram group in comparison to TKY) -
- favorable ICO price -> huge room to grow ++

TheKey:
- based on NEO (don't know if good or bad) +/-
- only focussed on chinese market but chinese people are not allowed in ICO?! -
- high market awarness +
- good team (Catherine Li) +
- political connections and patents +
- favorable ICO price -> huge room to grow ++

Civic:
- based on ETH +
- Vinny Lingham hype +
- longer on the market BUT imo not much "progress" -
- high market awarness but not much room to grow in the current state imo -

So KEY and TKY should be better IDV projects in my opinion and both will have an ICO this month. So which one is better in your opinion and why?

My bet would be going towards CIVIC + TheKey

Vinny Lingham is good but don't underestimate on Catherine Li, she seems to be one of the top 10 Influences in China
Next, it is to be compare on NEO vs ETH, personally i am more comfortable with ETH in this case
TheKey has one of the good advantage which i think they would likely to perform and scale better because they had access to patents and data in China based off what i've read

Both of them have the same marketcap, $100M+-
However if you are looking for real good profit, you might go for TheKey, it can explode to $1B marketcap easily as NEO focused on IDV
For me, i would pick on Civic as civic came off earlier so they SHOULD be surpass on TKY First.
But who knows, pick one of this 3 would result a good investment
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of cryptocurrency on: March 22, 2018, 09:25:11 AM
What about the crypt? tell me when it will unfold? Or give a sign at least some, because I'm already beginning to think about quitting the game.

Don't think it will fall that easily
The trading volume were arond $15-17B these few days compare to last week where it was around $9-10B (An increased of 40-50% in Trading volume) after G20 statement mentioned Crypto doesn't posses risk to financial stability

However, would need to wait until volume goes stable as volume still goes on decreasing
Anyhow, read more about Blockchain and understand the pros and cons

If you have such mindset, meaning that you does not understand Blockchain well. Just like people doesn't understand the benefit of Email in the past
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think $ADA will explode on: March 22, 2018, 09:17:33 AM
more noob trash spamming this over priced junk

Any reason why you are claiming it as a junk?
IMO, its one of the great coin because it has a team which go through a Peer Reviewed session
It will be more decentralized compare to most other coins in this case

But yeah, overprice in Crypto doesn't make sense if Ripple could hit $1 Cheesy
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 300.000.000 Tether enters the game on: March 22, 2018, 09:14:46 AM
There has been produced 300mil tether  march 20th.
https://omniexplorer.info/address/3MbYQMMmSkC3AgWkj9FMo5LsPTW1zBTwXL

$300Mil Tether...
That's alot right? It surpassed most of the Altcoin marketcap and $300M is the total marketcap of ARK coin itself ( Rank 51 )

Huge volume meaning huge pump? Tongue
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICX to $100 in 2018 on: March 22, 2018, 09:13:11 AM
I'm seeing ICX to $100 in 2018, Korean Ethereum, strong team behind it.

What do you say about this?

Seems like possible in 2018/2019
Guess just 2 Bull run when the total marketcap for Crypto hit $2 Trillion

I believe ICX will be even more than $100 or even $200
If it is as good as Ethereum, based off marketcap
Each icon would be worth $140 Cheesy
