Why you say it is scam?
Because Ponzi schemes or nowadays multi-level-marketing are by definition are a scam. They promise profits that sound too good to be true, because they are. The early adopter will get their promised profits, the customerbase will grow because people are spreading the information about their profits plus the paid shills. Problem is that the customerbase will reach a tipping point where there isn't enough money to pay out the interest and the system coincides. The question isn't IF Bitconnect will fall, the question is when. Tracing the BTC address I put some dosh into for EKA tokens, I find a wallet with well over 6 million worth of BTC. The ICO was capped at 3 mill.
Either they way oversold their ICO, or this smells like a multiple ICO scam.
Or in the end, Gleb and Brock turn out to be the same guy and this was a giant setup all along. Point us down to wrong paths, and run off with the money.

We closed the site for good but left a down-for-maintenance sign to give them hope. Some are even still depositing ETH and BTC into wallet addresses they once used with hopes of getting some more ECH which only exists in my mind. |
