1202  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 100BTC bar unfunded + other coins - Error available! on: January 16, 2016, 10:50:57 PM
I could swing an MS64 casascius silver single or a casascius ungraded silver for 2.15BTC for either. I won't be able to swing both, however.
What's that ungraded one look like?
1203  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee solo mining USA/SG/DE servers 147 blocks solved! on: January 15, 2016, 05:04:31 PM
i put 23 T on the solo pool.....housted at  BitClouder.co
can anyone tell me were do i have to look to see the block were everyone is mining???
Everyone is mining for themselves. The block that everyone is trying to find, is the same as the one the rest of the network is looking for. Unless f2pool is running a chain

10MW | KnC | Unnamed | Sweden
Note: Does anyone know where in Sweden this is?

Is Sweden like near Antarctica or something?  Tongue

But awesome list. Crazy to see how many farms there are using that much power.

1207  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [USA/CANADA GROUP BUY] Denarium Silver 1 BTC Coins on: January 14, 2016, 09:00:31 PM
Okay, so it sounds like the VAT is on the shipping costs only, not the coin value? If that's the case, then definitely sounds like a better deal to stick with the plan of shipping to Mitchell.

Yes, indeed.
That clears up so much, Thank you.
1208  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS][AUTOBUY]$100 starbucks,Windows,Fandango,Xbox Live,Netflix on: January 14, 2016, 09:12:53 AM
Two Questions:

1. How are the cards obtained, legally?

2. Do you accept an escrow from Bitcointalk?
1209  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] ALL GIFTABLE BATTLE.NET ITEMS! on: January 14, 2016, 09:11:01 AM
If you come up with a list it might be easier for buyers to find items they like ^_^

Or just massive postings of pictures.
1210  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [USA/CANADA GROUP BUY] Denarium Silver 1 BTC Coins on: January 13, 2016, 08:25:54 PM
Could you enlighten me why that might happen? As far as I know, you don't get charged VAT on Silver within EU borders. That would destroy the whole purpose of the EU itself.

The pure silver value itself doesn't have VAT, that's true, and technically we could separate the silver value in our products as VAT free and only have it on the non-silver value of our coin product, to save on VAT costs. Currently we don't do that and thus the physical part of our coin does include VAT for EU sales.

Basically everything except silver and bitcoin value and some other exceptions have VAT and especially when sold to someone in the EU. If we sell to outside of the EU, then it doesn't have VAT on anything. Silver is a big exception just like bitcoins. But for example any gold sale between EU countries will have VAT.

But with my post I was referring to the shipping / courier cost itself, not the products in the package. The shipping cost can have VAT regardless of the products inside.
So pretty much if we ship to mitchell we get VAT (24%)?
If you don't count the silver to VAT you still get taxed for the Bitcoin value?

But if you ship directly to me we don't get VAT?

Man VAT really isn't nice.
1211  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitcoin-Shop.org - Bitcoin Mining Hardware Reseller on: January 13, 2016, 06:53:11 PM

Check out and our rewards program :

Quote
5$ OFF for 500 pts.
10$ OFF for 1000 pts.
50$ OFF for 2000pts.

How to earn points :

Create an Account and earn 1000 pts.

For every 1$ spent earn 100 pts.

Refer a friend - 1000 pts.  + 10$ ( Your friend will take 10$ off when they create an account)

Based on their points system if you buy one s5 for 1380.99 you get like 138000 points.
Code:
138,000 points / 2000 points per trade = 69 * $50 off = $3450 off

Now I am not saying this is weird. Nevermind I am. If you can apply all at one time you will get free miners. If you can't apply all at one time you will never use them all unless items come up for <$50.

If you are an EU seller, why is everything based in USD?
1212  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread Jan 13 to Jan 27 picks are closed. on: January 13, 2016, 06:35:36 PM
Hey Philip, when do you think the halving will be based on the current difficulty increases and hardware sales forecasts? Looks like we are about to pull it forward to July 16th.

Well fourth of July would be all american  but I think   July 10 or 11.

9 hours and 14 minutes ago we made block 393120 2016-01-13 06:39:38

so since then we did 59 blocks   should have done  55 blocks  so we are at 7.27% real time

If we keep advancing at 8-10% per adjustment, wouldn't the halving come at 8-10% time sooner?

Right now cryptocoinnews estimates at 188 Days until halving, but if we continuously go at 10% wouldn't it be 18.8 days less? Thus halving coming late june.
1213  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [USA/CANADA GROUP BUY] Denarium Silver 1 BTC Coins on: January 13, 2016, 06:26:24 PM
So according to the website 1.2528BTC + whatever shipping ends up?
Pretty much. I was going to pay the shipping costs, then pass the cost down to everyone including myself.

Just don't forget to message Technomage about the group buy at checkout.
1214  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [USA/CANADA GROUP BUY] Denarium Silver 1 BTC Coins on: January 13, 2016, 06:14:31 PM
Interested in a loaded bull coin, but have some concerns...

I am concerned about quality after seeing Mitchells coin and hearing they knew coins were bad quality but sold anyways. I assume I have the option of a refund if the quality is not good? Why is it a pre-order for a small run of coins? I assume we will see high-quality pictures before the coins ship?

If so I will take 1 x Loaded Bull coin

Yes, Denarium stated during the auction that one will get a refund if you are not satified with coin quality.

In Addition the silver coins will have a better quality because of additional mechanical tooling steps.

Alright, then that sounds good to me. ezminer...let me know what my cost would be for a coin shipped to me then.

I'll message them for a quote. I can't give you an exact amount yet, although I have looked around here for price quotes. This link will download a pdf from the postnl site: http://www.postnl.com/mail/international-mail-delivery/bulk-mail/
http://www.postnl.com/Images/rates-sheetlet_tcm19-23153.pdf
It also says rates are exempt from VAT.
But we would also have to see about calling this a gift at under $100 based on their link here:
http://www.postnl.com/mail/mail-delivery-netherlands/international-mailing-restrictions-limitations/?country=us

If we estimate say 20 1oz coins. This comes to 15.18 euros or roughly $16.50 from Mitchell to I. 25 Euros ($27.13) from Denarium to Mitchell.
Comes to roughly $2.20 per coin.
Add $6 for regular priority mail in the US. Or you can do a bubble envelope for like $3 without tracking.

Say you order 1 Silver Bull. Comes to about $8.18 priority, $5.18 without priority.

That's about as close as I can get for an estimate at this time.
1215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My next cooling system on: January 13, 2016, 05:49:17 AM
they make what your looking for. its called an air-conditioner. Its designed for this.
^
He's right. A freezer is built to get cold and stay cold in a closed environment. It isn't meant to be a cooling system long term.

I would like to help you on that lawyer trouble. I recently read a long post by BlakeClass on Reddit which makes tons of sense.

Would we save VAT if we had shipped to someone not in the EU?
This is 24%
I have been trying to check around, I believe VAT is pretty much on everything that is incoming europe. Finland has a VAT of 23% it looks like. Mitchell might have to clarify this.

Also looking for research on shipping silver around, but hard for me to find the correct keywords.

Quote from: gov.uk link=https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-exports-dispatches-and-supplying-goods-abroad
VAT on exports to non-EU countries
VAT is a tax on goods used in the EU, so if goods are exported outside the EU, VAT isn’t charged. You can zero-rate the sale, provided you get and keep evidence of the export, and comply with all other laws. You must also make sure the goods are exported, and you must get the evidence, within three months from the time of sale. This can be longer for goods that need processing before export and for thoroughbred racehorses.

The time of sale is the earlier of:

the day you send the goods to your customer
the day you receive full payment for them
You mustn’t zero-rate sales if your customer asks for them to be delivered to a UK address. If the customer arranges to collect them from you, an indirect export, you may be able to zero-rate the sale as long as certain zero-rating conditions are met.

This was a while back, but I had discussed with Mitchell about the pricing.

UPDATE: Updated the OP to be a little easier for people to understand.
1218  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [USA/CANADA GROUP BUY] Denarium Silver 1 BTC Coins on: January 13, 2016, 01:31:34 AM
I am looking to to join the groupbuy.  How is the shipping going to be split? Is it by weight or number of coins? Are there going to be any import duties or fees for the re-shipper?
The Chain of shipping will work like this, Denarium ships to Mitchell, Mitchell ships to me, I distribute to everyone else.

Shipping costs between Mitchell and I:
I will split the shipping cost by coin. Unless the consensus is to split by weight. If so I will get a digital scale and work from there.

Shipping Costs to you:
I will ship coins by US priority mail flat rate boxes with nice and cozy bubblewrap. It'll be $6 inside the US. If you don't want tracking I believe I can ship for something like $2-3.

If shipping to Canada, it should be somewhere around $5-8 in a bubble envelope. If by priority mail boxes around $21.
1219  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: January 13, 2016, 12:02:48 AM
i ran the OCLvanitygen64 and got an option, but how do i select to run my GPU?  the message was:

available openCL platforms 0: advanced micro devices and 1: genuine intel core i-7

This is the set I use to run my 780ti
Code:
VanityGen\oclvanitygen.exe -vi -d 0:0 1ezeminer

I believe if you do 0:0 it is you advanced micro devices and if you do 0:1 it is your i7

I do not see an OCLvanitygen64 in the 0.22 zip file.
