1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin now so you don't have to regret it later. on: January 31, 2023, 09:22:53 PM
I definitely had this regret back in the day. I got bitcoin at fairly cheap prices, I made a fairly good return, rent a villa for vacation type of "influencer" things, and actually had a very very rich one year, you know what happened after that? Bitcoin got even higher, and I had none. Which is why I realized that even though that was probably the best year of my life, I could say that it was also a bad decision and I regret doing that. If I kept that bitcoin, right now I would be rich enough to just buy the whole villa. In any case, that was a lesson, and good memories, and since then I have been collecting as much as I can, albeit very little compared to many people, but still a start for me.
When it comes on missing out that opportunity then lots of us does share up with the same experience and regrets that we do have specially on dealing with crypto and with Bitcoin. If we had just knew that it could

reach up heights that we didnt expect for it to be reached and able to accumulate and hold until those moments then we would consider ourselves to be that rich and this is something that we are really that hoping

for but since we had missed out those chances then its better to move on.Dont make yourself get imprisoned out by the past because it would really just hinder you out on what are the things you
do plan to be doing in future.Move on and its not really that late for you to start up for this time.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 30, 2023, 11:44:06 PM
-snip-
I was expecting a bull trap when we went from 17k to 22k in just 2-3 days. Currently, however, it looks very stable and I don't see why we will fall below 20-21k yet.
According to a Reuters report, the Fed sees an end to constant rate hikes because inflation has slowed sharply. An end, if one can speak of it, is expected in March.
If that really is the case, a lot of capital will flow back into other areas - including cryptos.

Therefore, I do not see a price drop for the time being.
Yes, at first I also expected a bull trap, but luckily this has not happened so far. Your thoughts and information are very good. It would be nice if that were to happen. Either way, I remain suspicious. The year is still long and I don't expect a real bull run before the next halving. But I can also be wrong. The next few months will certainly remain exciting.  Smiley

Most of us would consider it a bull trap, but bitcoin has been up for over 2 weeks, so it can't be called a trap, but we still can't say this is a sign of the bull season as we are more than 380 days away from the halving.

There is no basis for the Fed to stop raising interest rates, although inflation has decreased, it is still very high, and the risk of the economy entering a recession is still lurking for us. It cannot be concluded that the economy is stabilizing again as the war between Russia and Ukraine grows more intense.
Cant be considered as bull trap but rather a typical correction yet the price had able to hit up some several resistances which we do know that it is really normal for a market to have this kind of behavior on which

whether you could say it was a bull trap when you do make out some long positions and a bear trap when you do short position. We do always have something to say which its never been that
surprising considering that this market is always been that unpredictable.

This is why i dont make myself that confident when it comes to this kind of approach where bull run or bear could happen in an instant or without us knowing.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 30, 2023, 10:46:34 PM
Isn't spending the money betting on casino better than lodging in a hotel and going for music concerts with the money? What's the probability that the business will thrive to making the person more money. Gambling is everything in life, buying a bottle of wine is like gambling, the difference is that gambling sometimes pays us back for having fun. You'll see people happy for having the best weekend vacation, and sad for losing $100 in gambling. What's the difference? Gambling is not a place to secure fast money, once a person starts seeing gambling as OP suggest, they may end up being frustrated by the house. Because the house knows what they're doing. So, running away with the profits makes no difference, nothing stops the person from starting a business while gamble at same time with few bucks to test the waters of luck.

The difference is that no matter how crazy you party, there's no way you can spend the same amount of money in a normal holiday compared to going to a casino and gambling.

You can literally lose all your savings in a single night at the casino.

It doesn't matter if you book the most expensive hotel, drink the most expensive alcohol, and get the most expensive meal, all of that will be cheaper than an all out night at the casino.
There's no such thing as unlimited funds even how millionaire or billionaire you are which its true that when you do go into a casino then you could literally lost everything considering on how things been doing on

these places which betting up even your own house or own car could really happen. This is why its better to be wary in regarding into your actions towards gambling.
You should know on how to stop when you are in profits and you should know on when to quit when you are in losing streaks.

You shouldnt really be that too impulsive towards gambling and never make those funds or winnings lost up again into the house.
1204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: January 30, 2023, 09:43:48 PM
But I would say that most of the new traders come to trade only by looking at the positive aspects of trading.

I don't see the downside of what new traders do as you say. from what they do and get losses, I believe they will eventually know or at least be interested in learning about the risks of trading crypto assets.
yes, maybe not all of them will get that kind of experience. after the loss, they will stay in the market. more of the beginners lose money when trading, whether it's with small or big money, I'm sure more of them will quit trading and judge crypto is not good enough for their money.
For those people who did just jump in for the sake of income and making money and on the time that they had invested and ending up on a loss then frustration and depression would really be there.
Neither these people would quit up right away or wouldnt really be that easily giving up away but rather they would be involving even more.and this is where they would really be realizing that trading
and investing on crypto isnt really simple as it sounds.

Of course we are really that aiming for the money and this is why we are here on this market.I would be that a total lie if we do really ignore and deny that we arent here
for money.Its obvious actually.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shiba inu coin, now ranked 13th in cmc on: January 30, 2023, 08:42:03 PM
lately I always buy shiba inu coins in installments using the dca system and in my opinion shiba inu coins will have good potential in the future because looking at the rankings on cmc, what do you think about shiba inu coins, will they have the potential to increase in the future, or not? I want to hear an explanation from all of you?...

It will be if shiba still implements all those projects in its ecosystem properly and investors do not lose interest in this coin. But if we are talking about further growth, we should assume that there will be no "SHIB at $1 by 2025". This is all the crazy fantasy of some investors. This coin has already shown insane growth in 2021. Now, having a huge issue and large capitalization, this project will not be able to show a crazy yield.
Some been saying that Shib isnt already that a memecoin because if its real use case.
Specially into that Shibarium

The Launch of Shibarium L2 Will Unlock Transformational Utility for the Entire Shiba Inu Ecosystem

So im not surprised on how they are doing well into this market.
1206  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 26, 2023, 11:33:32 PM
Regardless, it's the same context, only saving.
But the difference in this case is when you save in the form of money no matter how long you save it, the number count will still not change because the value will still be the same, different from bitcoin because indeed with the existing fluctuations and with conditions where increases and decreases are certain what happens is what makes the difference.
It would be great if we kept it for the next few years because we could get more benefits from the savings we made.
The main difference here is the value which we know that keeping bitcoins could really make your savings even more worth due to the potential of the money you are holding could really increase in value which what

the thing that sparks most peoples interest and there's no surprising. If you are really that good on making up some savings then it wont matter whether it would be sticking into bitcoin or into fiat.

You arent that blind nor dumb enough not to be able to point out those differences which you could eventually take out some advantage if you wanted to.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 26, 2023, 10:26:24 PM
Of course, that's how a casino is built, its for those suckers who want to lose their money (including myself), so we all play without thinking the numbers and the house edge. And then we complain later after we all lost to that casino.  Grin

So we should be wise as well, if we think that we have won already, no need to be greedy or something. You can't take the house and win every time.

And that's why there are also games that include skills and that's where our chances are good like Poker and sports betting and not those luck base games like slot machines.

It should be obvious for anyone who sees a casino that they will have to add their fees whenever they can. They have the building to maintain, machines have to be fixed, everything uses electricity, and so on.
Jackpots are announced with lights and sounds to make everybody know and feel attracted to the game. When you see someone win you feel like you can do it too and then after many games reality kicks in and you either get into denial and withdraw more money to play, or you go home empty handed.
For a business like this then its no surprise and as a gambler then you should really make yourself that aware or having that kind of control that everythings do looks fancy for you to be that interest on playing

and this is where their primary motive do kicks on on which they would really be trying out their best on pulling money out of their customers pocket. This is why they would really be making everything do looks
colorful or something that would be poking up your interest and curiosity.

It is really that a common behavior that you would be trying out those games if ever you do see one is winning some significant amount which is a common reaction.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 26, 2023, 10:23:23 PM
It is OK to do whatever you want with your Bitcoin. If it ever doesn’t become OK to do what you want with your Bitcoin, then you can do what you want with them anyway. That’s the beauty of Bitcoin and an immutable ledger.

Don’t listen to the people who tell you what to do or not to do with your coins. They just want you to hold so the price is higher when they sell because stupid people think this is a zero sum game.
Its your coin and its your money that you've been investing and holding on on which it is really just right that you do have the full decisions on whatever you would be deciding into those coins whether you would be

holding it no matter what or you would really be that selling it out partially or gradually basing up into your own needs and expenses. It does matter on some conditions too since not all are really that the same when

it comes to life situations where we do need up some money. If you do see that you are in profits since the price had made out some increase and you do able to get in while its still cheap
then its not bad to cut off and take profits and cherish it out.
1209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: January 26, 2023, 09:35:14 PM
Staying at home has helped me to study and learn and today, i will be referencing the key virtues that is learnable to be a trader

Trading psychology refers to mental or emotional state that defines or dictates if a trader win or lose.

We thought  at first to win trade is mostly because of having that winning strategy but later on, when you have that strategy your emotions start to kick in like you are having difficulty taking trades or stopping the loss as our emotions controling us. Trading is also about our emotions on how we can successfully control them as it will drive us to do unnecessary things like being greedy which leads to losses. If we have a strategy on how to control our emotions like we have before we trade then for sure it would be 100% successful to execute a trade and we can have a higher percentage of winning.
Emotion is one of the main thing that could affect someones approach when it comes on dealing up with things where it would be one of the main factors which would really hinder you out nor really make yourself

that impulsive when it comes to making decisions. On the time that you had gained up some experience and awareness on which this is where your adaptability would kick in and this is where most people do end up

on the same path and this is where you do mold yourself on being a better trader than on yesterdays. It is really a matter of experience and skills that you had honed up
for some specific period of time.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 25, 2023, 11:36:50 PM
Quote
Gambling in Japan is not black and white. In fact, gambling is considered a criminal offence and is generally banned across the country.

Those that are found gambling can face large fines and even serve jail time.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. Betting on horse racing and the lottery are two forms of gambling that are accepted in Japan.

To me, this seems hypocritical. You claim that gambling is illegal, but you may bet on horse racing, Pachinko, bicycle racing, boat racing, and Mahjong, which baffles me. I do not seem to understand. Why is that so? You claim it is unlawful, yet wagering on games that are overseen by the government is not unlawful. Is this not hypocritical? What does the government fear?

https://gamblingnewsmagazine.com/gambling-in-japan/

The country is not even certain of the type of ban they really needs for the country. I don’t have issues with the games allowed but I don’t like seeing people using animals for sports. For God sake they’re living things also and they have feelings and emotions like humans. Some manner horses been used for racing are treated is inhuman, so a legal stop of it will be better.
Talking about horse racing which this kind of gambling is usually into those who are rich people who are involved into it.Even how much you do hate about animal cruelty as long they've been allowing it then
there's no thing that you could do.We know that each country does have their own laws which means that whether we are opposing into such idea but since its allowed then its allowed.Cultural things are
also one of the factors too and this is what people been dealing on something that they've been getting used to. The only thing we want that they should at least give out some clarification and dont
mention about total ban if there are gambling games which arent been banned, would be better if they would put up some level 1 or level 2 restriction then that total ban showing the list of
those games included.
1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 25, 2023, 10:33:00 PM
As we know there are no accurate predictions for bitcoin at this time too many are opinionated, and subject to speculation.
I think the lower value that we are waiting for has already been exceeded at 16k, I'm not sure it will reach below that more than, so far Bitcoin is still above 20k, I think this is better. and we can see the current situation is as there seems to be a force that is constantly pulling the bitcoin price up and down. So you have to be careful before deciding to enter the market.
Might not be that accurate but we could able to draw some trend lines and other indicators which we would be assuming that this might be the start of a good bullish run. We've been able to recover from that 15k

bottom which we could presume and assume out that this might be the bottom because the price had failed out to have some retesting out of these levels but if there would be some significant possible negative

news in the market then we might be able to see these low numbers but we cant really be still that sure on where it would be heading.Based up on my own analysis that 25k is something
that it needs to be break for us to go through 30k but it wont be that a smooth sail ride.
1212  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: January 25, 2023, 09:50:31 PM
There are many theories to make us successful and rich, of course all of these are good things, but not necessarily in accordance with someone, sometimes rich people do the opposite of the techniques above, and this is life because rich or poor is always a mystery and what we have to do is do everything to be successful and rich.

I don't think the concept is like that, success is how a person has a certain goal in his life and then achieves it with all his efforts then he can be said to be successful, while being rich is materially oriented or has a lot of money and living in luxury, of course this is different, I agree if everything we do is to achieve the success of our goals, but I don't agree if everything we do is to get rich because it will have a negative connotation maybe if so your thinking is to be rich, maybe you will do the same thing as SBF being a fraud.
On the time that you do reach out that particular state on being rich then you could really recognized yourself that you had succeed out on applying your knowledge and those plans you do have in mind.

Its always better and recommendable that you should really set up some goals and targets that you should need to reach up because if you wont really be able to set those things then you are really that like on someone who doesnt really have the path on what you should gonna do, unlike when you do have those perceptive on things or conditions that you are really wanting to achieve
then you would really be having that inspiration.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 25, 2023, 09:46:41 PM
Every human being should take some caution. Especially in the financial field, no other person should be referred. It is said that almost everything is weak in this world to money. Friendship or relation can survive here. It was a lottery where amount was a big deal, so definitely winner's fatal mistake. It's not unusual that has been done. Here lottery winner did the mistake. Where he had to go but should not allow others. If you want to stay in anonymous, you could do it in the online based lottery. It is happen only for the winner's indifference.
Specially on someone who do have struggled on daily living and even if it was your relative or close in blood, it cant really be that so sure that they would really be that loyal and would be following on what you had

mandated or the things that you have instructed to them. This is why im not really that too much comfortable on making up some transactions specially with money to be entrusted into someone.

You cant really just trust up someone when it comes to that because changes and odds that it would be ran away or you would be fooled out is high. Its not really that bad
and hard to claim up your winnings if you are really that eager to.
1214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: January 24, 2023, 11:38:06 PM
Bothe, The first phase was the real tutore and the best part i totally lost all of my funds + emotions. Then i quit trading and that was my best plan after a short rest of a long time. I did start trading with new long-run strategy an now i know how to control my funds and emotion so i learned after being touted by the market.BTC
Learning is really via means of losing whether you've been tutored or simply learn up for your self. You wouldn't be able to realize up things when you dont experience it for yourself.
I do agree in most people been saying here that its better to learn your own and trying out to cope up with those losses via those errors that you had experience.
Its true that this would really be a trial error challenge which there's no way that you could be able to avoid that because this is how
the market behaves and there's no way you could avoid volatility.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 24, 2023, 10:37:00 PM
We have to realize that we are not whales in a matter like this, even though we can still take advantage of such conditions, this is only for people who are ready to lose.
As for what is happening now, it is people who are joining in without seeing the actual conditions that make them actually stuck at the top.
We are aware of this and even we also must really understand and be aware of this if we are not whales like them. Even though we may also have the chance to take advantage of this moment to benefit from the pump and dump scheme, this is a very high risk. Because, if we enter and leave at the wrong time, then we will actually lose our money. moreover, we can't expect coins like that to go up anymore, can we? Because usually dead coins won't pump many times. So this might be more gambling for us, especially for newbies. It would be better avoided. This scheme is like a trap for the victims of the hype of dead coins that will be always dead coins again.
Whales are indeed the ones who do play out with those pumps or the responsible on why those dead coins or low cap ones do make out some pump out. This is why we should really be careful on having consideration

on investing back because you might be just ending up on holding into those peak prices when these whales decided to dump it out immediately because lots had been fomo'ed out and this is where people

do mind off or been aware because its really that hard to deal because you wouldnt know if those price pumps sustainable or simply that a pump dump deal.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream has become a reality on: January 24, 2023, 09:23:12 PM
It's very nice to look at people who have realized their dream

True and not only did she get to achieve one of her dreams but also got to contribute greatly in the adoption of Bitcoin. Some might consider it as something that others have been doing but you won't really be able to tell who she's going to reach out to with this initiative of hers. It might be those that have never heard of Bitcoin before might get a chance to hear and learn through this initiative of hers. So it's really a thing to look to.
We are the ones who do handle our own life and on the decisions that we are making. If OP has that long time dream and then its already happening then its good not only for her but also for the widespread or simply

with the recognition of Bitcoin which is always been that good or something that commendable for this kind of initiative or minding about spreading up the opportunity on where Bitcoin could give.
Yes, aside from that payment transaction utility or simple with its p2p feature + anonymity which you could also have the chance on making out some investment due into its
potential price increase.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 24, 2023, 08:50:58 PM

The valuable lesson that can be learned from the story above is that if you want to remain anonymous for your lottery winnings, do it yourself, and don't entrust money-related matters to other people (even if that person is someone close to you)

if i were am victim, i will not reconcile with that cheating cousin, unless she returns all my winnings that she has used, how about you?

You would never believe things like this happen in real-life until you read the news. The initial reaction is shock, then followed by disgust. Because how could you do this to another human. And not just anybody but family. Greed- the love of money has destroyed so many relationships. How can you even start to build trust if there ever is a reconciliation? Well, everyone should be careful out there. Keep your winnings to yourself that's the best way to not become heartbroken.
Once trust is broken then it could never bring things back and this is in fact the reality and its true that there are lots of relationships had been broken down due to greed or trust that had been shattered on which

there are really people who doesnt mind off if ever they would really be breaking someones trust just because of money and its even if your family or relatives. When it comes to jackpot wins and claiming time then

no matter how busy you are then its impossible that you couldn't really be able to allocate some time for you to claim such money? You are just lazy to do so? Its not something
a solid reason for you to skip out.
1218  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 23, 2023, 11:40:31 PM
What I can see this year is recovery for Bitcoin. But I am not looking for a new all-time high for Bitcoin.
I also believe that there is still a lot of chance that we will create another bottom. We never know.

What I am expecting is upto end of the year is sideways only without huge pumps or dumps, then altcoins will start to rise at the middle - last quarter of the year.
Im not that expecting much and it would be better if we do just assume out that it would be having some sideways movement but with the recent behavior and price patterns which we could say that it does really

showing off some recovery which it might be able to sustain or not. This is the main question would be raised up on everyones mind and this is what makes it really hard to make up some position into something

which you dont know on where it would be heading on.For this year 2023 then i couldn't tell whether it would be good or bad but as long you had entered or accumulate on cheaper point
then it wont be that a bad idea on making yourself to decide to have some sell orders.
1219  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 23, 2023, 11:06:39 PM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?
Its not bad to take up some loan as long you are pretty aware on the things that you are dealing with. Its good that you had pointed out about the volatileness of this market which is something that you couldnt

really that rely if you are really that depending on the profit that you would be making out.If you do have other sources of income which could be able to patch it up or simply you could really make out

those paying without relying into your crypto investment then go ahead. The main issue here is that you should really be that  responsible on repaying the loan because if not
then you are really that digging up yourself into your own debt pit.
1220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 23, 2023, 10:37:19 PM
No one will say that it is safe and what is not. Analysts, too, with small creeds will be able to say exactly what the market awaits after a while. So, it is worthwhile to understand that in trading it is the risk that makes profit.
And you would need to take up some risks for you to be able to potentially make profits and this is something a personal choice to deal with.Safe to buy now? There's no one would be able to know because this

market is really that unpredictable and there's no way that you would be able to know on whats ahead. This is why self analysis and made out strategies is really that relevant into these particular times.

If you wont be able to bare up with the risk, then you would be ending up on missing opportunities on getting in or buying cheap and this is why
its up to your own choice and preference on when to move.
