12061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 26, 2016, 01:56:32 AM
A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

If I suddenly wake up in the morning and have 50 million dollars in stash,  I think i will gamble not for profit but now for fun.  I will set around 5 % of that wealth to  it.  20% will be set to charity aand another 20% for my selected relatives.  I will keep 50% for my family and for the next generation of my line.

A delusion which is quite beautiful and it is very special. If you are gambling for fun, I thought it would not be harmful. But if you keep doing gambling because of reasons like to have fun (per day/time) certainly your wealth will be devoured gambling
I think any excuse to gamble. gambling or house will not be thinking about why you and win you just because you have a different reason when gambling. even if you play to have fun. if you lose the glittering gambling game. of course gambling will hurt you. I think the smart rich people will not seek pleasure in gambling

Every game has a different pleasure and depends on who is the person who is doing that, I could say that rich can have please in things that they can spend money like gambling, that is their benefits as they have the liberty of spending their money so they are the only one that understand what they are doing.
12062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 26, 2016, 01:33:21 AM
It's best to only gamble for entertainment and to limit yourself in how much you can use. If you set rules for yourself and stick to them, gambling can be fun.
We should because that is the only way we will have no problem with gambling. Gamblers should always remember to gamble for fun and make sure to follow the proper bankroll management and to set a lose that is manageable.
12063  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: July 25, 2016, 05:48:59 AM
Nope, i want recive my salary in fiat, someday i will change my mind, maybe, but now i am not ready to exchange bitcoin every month after reciving my salary.

That is the right thing to do as once you have bitcoin you can convert it anytime when you see higher price of it but still its very risky to depend on it.
yeah maybe it is still at risk because anyone would not know when the price will rise or fall. maybe after you receive a salary and then the
price dropped rapidly? yeah it's possible right. I think it needs someone who knows about bitcoin. if you want to accept bitcoin as salary

That is great when we are receiving our salary in bitcoin because we are like gambling with the price fluctuation and the value of our earnings is also fluctuating, I have receive my salary in bitcoins because I considered the amount I receive online as my salary.
12064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 25, 2016, 05:44:54 AM
I'am not gambler ,but sometime i playing lottery and found new simple trik || start from 15k sathosi you can make profit 500k /day Smiley
-- autoroll 1000
-- put 2 number (my lucky number 11&32)
-- on lose 100%
-- basebet set minimum
$$$$$ good luck $$$$$

What do you mean by putting 2 numbers?
And by the way, this is basically martingale. I lost a lot using this.

Its not martingale its basically exactly like he described like a lottery. But since you pick 2 numbers, its like betting at 2% win rate.

I actually use martingale but must success wast just temporary and I have made a decent amount of income back then but in the long I still lose. Right now, I only use martingale in sports betting and I believe betting in the favorites will give me a good chance to win.
12065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 25, 2016, 05:41:27 AM
Everytime I lose money, I tell myself not to gamble but still end up losing tons the next time I gamble again. I have become a gambling addict.
This is painful. I can't overcome my fate.
LOL! we all have that kind of stupid attitude dude, sometimes when we lose a big amount of money we tend to regret but afterwards we still come back in gambling and that is how traitor us to ourselves. If we cannot trust our self then we cannot trust others.

Gambling will make us lie because we use to follow our hearts and protect our pride in gambling.
12066  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: July 25, 2016, 05:38:49 AM
prediction No. 1 and 2 right, but no 3 was wrong. to date no panic after the price does not increase. but chances are they would prefer to be patient and confident the price will increase. because the effect of halving will not happen immediately. at least until the end of the year we could see higher prices
I agree with you, I should wait for more months before I dump my bitcoins, I believe this year we can see a good price as the effect of halving and I would like also to see the price will continuously grow in the succeeding years. Maybe that could possibly happen as we are increase in number of volume in terms on users of bitcoins.

There is no need to dump your bitcoin if you do not need to use it to support your life. Just hold for the long term.

That is right. The bitcoin price will rise a lot in the next few decades after more and more people use it.

The value of the bitcoin lies in its usage. So when more people use it, it will be useful and valuable.
Since bitcoins is now valuable already, I can say that people are already using supporting it by using it. Bitcoins will be good in the future and even now, and I believe that overtime we will achieve a good number of adopters that will make the price eventually.
12067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 25, 2016, 05:35:16 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

if you want buy altcoin is profitable you can earyly survery
but if you see price coin launch ICO how much price coin ico
and coin launch and ready market placed you must fast buy coin ico under price ICO, maybe 20% under price ico
next 1 week you can get much profit
During ICO is a good timing to buy altcoins, I have participated during the ICO of one of the best altcoin in the maket which is the Lisk and I have made a decent profit after the release and even at the current price now.

We just have to be patient sometimes because after the ICO it is the dumpers game who wants to cash out their bounties.

Haha man, your mistake you didnt hold your lisk, just wait and see  Grin
That is fine with me because I have already made profit selling my lisk that time. For now, I am thinking of buying as the current price is very stable and that is a good time to buy and wait and hold for the future, it is never too late to make money then.
12068  Economy / Economics / Re: Why better tech can't kill Bitcoin on: July 25, 2016, 05:28:52 AM
Altcoin can't kill bitcoin because Altcoin price is dependent on Bitcoin price, in my opinion.  New  and advance tech would not and will not automatically kill the previous tech as long as the previous tech is functional and updated to catch up with the newest tech or even compete with it.  Bitcoin technology in the same manner is ever advancing to cope up with advancing threat of hacks and exploitation.  Another thing is Bitcoin had set it foundation as fortress that can't easily be taken down.

Although they often move in near-unison, they're not linked. Bitcoin is just the most well-known. When the value of btc rises, it raises the value of everything else too because part of the volume is based on trades between those two currencies. If Bitcoin disappeared, there would likely be another to take its place, it wouldn't be the end of crypto.
Altcoin is a different thing because it is independent with bitcoins but since bitcoin is more popular that is why it is mostly compared but with successful altcoins they are unique that is why the succeed, we will see great altcoins in the future when the crypto world will grow, all projects just needs to gain the trust of the investor in order for the altcoins to grow.

The inflationary period of Bitcoin (where new bitcoin's are created) will be over, however, mining will continue. It's just that at that point, the only thing being mined will be transaction fees.
Yeah! and that would be good since bitcoins is not subject for inflation in the future we can benefit from our investment and lucky are those who are on board in the early stage as they are mostly the ones who are benefited much.
12069  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 25, 2016, 05:26:19 AM
The sharing economy is just going to continue to grow, and governments will be challenged to understand and manage its implications while embracing its benefits. However, governments will be at a significant disadvantage if they wait too long and newer technologies and markets will have already been developed that do not follow traditional models. Think of the following: Uber is the world’s largest taxi service and owns no cars. Airbnb provides lodging yet does not own real estate.

How will local governments adapt to these new ways of doing business that are disrupting traditional business models? All we know now is that governments are a long way from even contemplating and accepting this new reality.

Well governments accepting bitcoins is not far from reality. The government of the republic of China has already made some policies, declaring the ownership of bitcoin as a civil rights. It just means that a certain government is different from each other. And that their treatment of bitcoins as a currency is different, some may declare it as legal but others as illegal.
And since china is a big country, I would say that other countries will follow especially those countries with allies on china. I wish our country will also consider legalizing bitcoins so we could see so much adopters in the future to come.
12070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 25, 2016, 05:24:41 AM
What do you guys think?
Since the price keeps going lower the whole day.

Also why is it going lower ?

I think its the right time to buy. Cause bitcoin will definite go up after this month and onwards.
If i were i will buy 20 bitcoins right now.

Yeah current price is still affordable to make and investment in it as it is predicted that price will cross $1k at the end of the year so we can sell at that time to earn higher profits.
you are that its right time to buy more bitcoin as investment , because bitcoin rise up its price too much faster and really bitcoin will hit to $1k at the end of the year and you can get good profit if you wait for increasing it price to higher .
I should be waiting for that $1,000 to happen within this year and that is a guaranteed profit for me, I have bought cheap bitcoins his year but I did not dispose it yet as I believe the halving will make the price great again at $1,000.
12071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 25, 2016, 05:21:55 AM
If there is a house edge... You always gonna loose but if you fool yourself with you are gonna win, you will win Smiley
No, that's not how luck works. Even you are so encouraged and desperate into believing that you will win if the luck is not in your side then you can't do anything in it and still lose.
Yeah, I always believing that I will win when I am playing gambling, but the result is always I am a loser. Luck is only the key how we can win in gambling especially in gambling sites.
If you don't want to experience the urge of slowly waiting for your profit then bet all your funds one time, after all it is all based by luck. So wether you do it in long run or quick run it there will be no difference because luck will still be the basis not the duration of how long you played the game.
I don't think so, because for me there is the time that we have luck and sometimes we don't what if we don't have luck and we bet all our money, and then a minute past we don't know that we already now have our luck. But our money had all gone because of your belief.
Your luck is just temporary and only those people who are just betting occasionally will be most benefited of their luck, when you are regularly playing gambling, you will be having a hard time if you are trusting you luck cause you cannot rely it all the time.
12072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 25, 2016, 04:29:44 AM
Investing is the best thing to do with your money especially if it is spare left over money. Keeping it in the bank only makes the bank rich. Also don't waste your money rather save it and build it up in an investment and watch that compounding interest moon baby !!
it may be better to invest the money you have than to just keep it in the bank. if you are a businessman, you will not be quiet until you earn very much and in accordance with the purpose, and may be very risky to invest bitcoin that you have in the casino, but if it was me, maybe I'll use it for trading, as I think it is a good way to generate a lot of bitcoin
Saving your money in bank is only for your future and for possible expenses but never invest your money in the bank because that will never be profitable. Just invest your money in bitcoin if you want to have a great return for your money.
12073  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: July 25, 2016, 04:26:59 AM
The future of bitcoin can be so different, and everything depends on us(bitcoin users community) togather we can make the best currecny worldwide, maybe i am so optimistic but i believe on it.

The currency is only as good as the people using it.
Bitcoin used to be the currency of the darknet, but this is no longer the case.
well i think there are a lot of people right now who are willing to use bitcoins though i doubt that it shows what are the users of the bitcoins
Well, we cannot determine the total user of bitcoins as they are anonymous in nature, what we can see now and have prove that there are a lot of backers of bitcoins which affect the demand in the market that is why we are enjoying the price now.
12074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: July 25, 2016, 03:41:21 AM
There are even some adults who should not be gambling never mind some kids. Kids should be in school learning things not playing with money they  dont have this will teach them nothing.
And why do you say that? Adults know what risks are they taking by gambling and mostly have the knowledge of the games they play compared to kids. Kids don't even earn that money that they spend in gambling and most of them use their parents money and burn it off. It is better they stay away from such money-risking methods.
Kids will just steal money from their parents if they are addicted in gambling, I just heard a news recently in our local television that because of gambling addiction he stole like equivalent to $2,500 from her grand mother and gamble the amount in E games casinos in their area.
12075  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 25, 2016, 03:25:14 AM
nah i dont spend it in my opinion it is better to hold it as an investment

Well that's really a good thing that you are going hold it as an investment. But if you really need bitcoins for spending it actively. But if you are going to hold it make sure that you are really willing to wait until the price is going to increase in no time. Because as of today, bitcoins' price is very slow in motion.
Hold your bitcoins if you really don't need it and only spend what is necessary for your daily expenses and prevent spending on your wants like new gadgets because overtime it will just depreciate while in bitcoin it will appreciate overtime.
12076  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 25, 2016, 03:16:24 AM
People should make theirs decisions from the situations what happen to them, nobody can't find clear answer on this question cause it's different for everybody.

Well for smart people of course they really need both of it. But for wise people they are going to choose only one. And for me, it is good to always save. Because you can do whatever you want if you have savings on your bank account or you own vault. And if there's something really in need.
For sure you have something.
I love how you see savings because you are thinking for the possible bad things that might happen, but for me savings and investing is very important, they come together hand in hand , without savings you cannot invest as the amount you take from your investments has to be allocated from the amount of your savings.

Well because it is a must and very important to a person's life. And some of the people here in my country tend to think that why you are saving for something that is going to suddenly happen. So, in able to avoid it they are not saving because they don't want it to happen. But if you are a wise person for sure you are going to save.
We cannot force everyone to save but at least we should start with ourselves, we save not only for the future rainy days but for our goal in the future to invest, as human we all dream of financial freedom so we could enjoy the money but we cannot have that if we don't know how to risk for investment.
12077  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 25, 2016, 03:10:09 AM
Nowdays it's not possible for me cause bitcoins is very expenicve right now, when price will be lower than now like $450-500 i will buy some bitcoins for future.

Well, the price is little bit High I know. but not that much high. and there is no big difference between 500 to 660. this is also possible that bitcoin price won't get low and it still increase?
so if you have plan to buy bitcoin then buy it right now. in future you may be regret why you didn't bought when you got time.
Yeah! the current price is a good value, we can buy now before it will increase and the only way we do after we buy is just to hold our bitcoins and wait until the price start to pump, holding is easy if you spend the amount of money intended for investment.
12078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT CAN I DO WITH 0.1 BTC ?? on: July 25, 2016, 03:05:58 AM
Just do trading in btc-usd man. The risk you will take is lower compared in gambling or any other ways in growing your bitcoin. It just require knowledge.
That is the best thing to do in 0.1 bitcoin just invest in trading and not in gambling. Trade in altcoin just buy in a lower price and sell it when the price is much more than you buy. then continue if you gain income.
yeah! and right now the price of lisk is falling so maybe you could take advantage on this one as lisk has a great volume and will probably back up in no time. That is how profitable in trading altcoins this time, all we need is to have patience for a certain coins.
12079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 25, 2016, 03:02:27 AM
I would still gambling even if I was millionaire because gambling is not way of making money for me. I just enjoy every bet doesn't matter what appears good or bad. I place of few mBtc's bets in different things. This is like a fun source and that's all.

Did you believe just what you are saying? Because if you ate millionaire you wont play again using some mbtc's because the value now is become more smaller than before you become a millionaire. Usual people are already addict through gambling and sometimes they even place huge bet so how about a millionaire? Do you think that they will only place small amount since they have a lot of money Cheesy
Millionaires does not recognize mbtcs already in their bankroll as they already have a lot of money to gamble. BTC is the only thing they know and if you are rich it would be fine with you if you can bet with 10 BTC at a given day, I have seen that in nitrogen which they posted their big bets so I presume that they are rich.
12080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 25, 2016, 02:58:36 AM
In my country there are few hotels accepting bitcoin as their mode of payment and i am hoping for the near future even stores will be accepting bitcoin for their business and some more.
That is good at least they are starting to accept, that is a sign that bitcoin is starting to be getting recognize in every part of the world. I believe if one will be educated with bitcoin, they can easily adopt with it and will be thankful that he can experience using it in online transactions.
