In a few years bitcoin will be the most popular currency in the world

I think it would sound impossible. in this world there are a lot of currencies of different countries with huge potential. bitcoin currency is small with a few users? I'm not sure a few more years bitcoin will become a global currency. unless someday bitcoin have users who reach the entire human

Bitcoin will be used by many people in future but it doesn't make it as an global currency as the usage of bitcoin is limited and most of the population is not aware about bitcoin yet.

Bitcoin has already attracted major investors and in order for them to profit into it, they should find a way to make it popular making other people buy and use bitcoin and in effect the value of bitcoin rises. I believe they are already doing something and for us small time investors/bitcoiners, we should also find a way to make bitcoin popular or make people be aware of its existence like introducing it to our family and friends and in our own little way we were able to help and if we all act on it then bitcoin will be more popular in just a matter of time.

I agree it is,but it wasnt official yet but who need an official announcement when everyone is already using it.  Though, at this moment, I think majority thinks that bitcoin is some kind of token (investment token) where they can just hold and trade it when it become expensive.

Altcoins are also considered as currency but that is just an alternative currency for bitcoin, while what we are talking here is the fiat system versus the bitcoin platform which are mainly different from each other and they cannot replace each other due to its unique use.
