Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency

bitcoin is a global currency. It is being used in most of the countries without the border limitation. What else can it be? But I don't think these happy days will last forever.

Most of the governments are not aware of it and hence they don't bother. But if they see that people are becoming rich using their computers, then they will start intervening. Probably then people will have to pay taxes to the government for earning and holding bitcoin.

I bet you are wrong buddy, the government are already aware of bitcoins and in fact in our country the central bank has issued a memorandum directing all exchange sites to comply with the KYC policy to avoid and to detect any activity of money laundering.

i think bitcoin will be powerful currency in the world, but its impossible that bitcoin is becoming a global currency and it is impossible that china ,US,Malaysia etc adopt bitcoin instead their own currency , bitcoin is just crypto currency which is recently just use for online purchasing .

yes there is no doubt about this and the reason is very simple as most of the people are joing bitcoin they are investing their investment in bitcoin, on other side awareness about bitcoin is also increasing day by day, people are taking interest in bitcoin and they are appreciating it. now we can see that bitcoin is trading all most in all countries of the world. there will be very few countries where all the people may have no knowledge about bitcoin .

I agree that bitcoin is not the strongest currency around the world.  The proof  of it is the lack of  local store transacting with bitcoin as their payment processor.  I think It will take another decade for a  digital currency to be rank the 2nd strongest curreny in the world.  Why? It's hard to beat fiat money especially dollars.

I agree that bitcoin is not the strongest currency around the world.  The proof  of it is the lack of  local store transacting with bitcoin as their payment processor.  I think It will take another decade for a  digital currency to be rank the 2nd strongest curreny in the world.  Why? It's hard to beat fiat money especially dollars.

We cannot expect that bitcoin is the strongest because we are still in the early phase, so the main concern now is to make bitcoin stable so that major business will adopt and more users will be adopting and we will increase and will be huge in the future.

Very well said mate, I believe it is a global currency although the number of users is not that really big compared to the total number of population in the world. Bitcoin still has not reached mass adoption, there are signs that the currency's use is making slow but steady progress. Further, average daily bitcoin transactions increased 50%. So in future it may become the digital global currency.

Criminals will like the fiat more than the bitcoin. Fiat cash is anonymous and untraceable. The bitcoin is traceable.

Well, bitcoin is not for everyone because not everybody knows how to use computer even with simple functions, this is only for people who usually transact online and bitcoin will give them benefits that they have not experience using their current payment system. It is becoming a global currency in the sense that almost all of the major countries are already using bitcoin and of course when major countries adopt then less developed countries will also follow.
