Have I ever mentioned that we need a mascot for the forum? Kind of like how Uncle Sam represents the American government.
Alpacas are already the unofficial mascot of Bitcoin. Would seem only right for the forum to be represented by one wearing socks, which is oddly appropriate.

If a proven company with solid reliable earnings offered a token, that would be interesting. Maybe something not available with traditional investments, like a stake in a sports team.

Sure looks like a fractal pattern playing out to me. Things should be more clear in another 42 months.

I think LoyceV and Ognasty should have more source merits to distribute.
I'm happy with the sMerit I have now. Thanks for thinking of me.

Perfect. The 2017 image tricked me.
The Litecoin Gold retail image shows the 2018 binary code that would be around the outside of this BTC round as well. It is: 001100100011000000110001001110000110111101111010 or 2018oz.

How do you see on the coin is 2018 version?
11111100010

You ship from USA or Europe? Edit : USA. I was blind.
If you look around the outside of the coin on the retail image (I'm caught using the 2017 image), starting at the top of the coin and going clockwise, you get this: 001100100011000000110001001101110110111101111010. If you paste that into a site like http://www.unit-conversion.info/texttools/convert-text-to-binary/ you get "2017oz" which means it was a 2017 round. This auction is for a 2018 round, and the binary would reflect that. There are several other messages in the binary also.

Hey OgNasty,
I'm in need of your services and I wanted to PM you to discuss an upcoming escrow. However, being limited to two PM's per day, I'm out.
Is there any other way to contact you to discuss the details?
Nope. Sorry. I would recommend that users experiencing issues with PM limits look into paying the reasonable fee to become a Copper Member here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.0Paying to increase PM limit that's fucked up.. stakepools.io, feel free to contact me via skype, I will relay your messages to OgNasty here for free ; ) I definitely won’t be handling any escrows with a man in the middle scenario. Supporting this forum with a small donation is not fucked up.

I love Bitcoin and Bitcoin loves me. Like the lemon to the lime, the bumble to the bee.

This seems relevant again (happens every few years). The most profitable bitcoins I ever mined, were the ones I mined when it was unprofitable to do so.

Very tempting. Let me know if you’re willing to take what other people will say it’s worth. Edit: Willing to trade for platinum/gold?

Running a Bitcoin node is an easy way to get involved and be a contributor. Whether or not there are additional benefits is trivial if you love Bitcoin.

I think stablecoins are just a way for the exchange to get your money up front. This enables them to 1) earn interest on customer funds, 2) force the market to absorb any “run” on deposits, & 3) potentially pay out less on deposits than was received (buying them back below value).
