So, while this is probably not the best thread ever, I feel it could be useful to many. A lot of people are newly registered on alt-currency exchanges and don't have referrals. I'm amazed at the stupidity of all the panic sellers on cryptsy for quark. Buyers are all over bidding fighting for the top of the buy order and people are making huge sell orders way below market price.....  you shouldnt be amazed really. with that lag on cryptsy noone knows what really happens. they just want to secure some gains. especially when you know that when coins go 160% in a day it will stabilise a bit down eventually... I understand what your are saying but when i see multiple buyers buying at .0028 at some guys decides to put a sell order for 45 BTC at .0018 you have to wonder. Then everyone panics and starts dumping everything they have at deep discounts and it just snowballs. If these guys just kept their cool the price wouldn't have crashed like it just did. Nice chance to buy some |

We might see another surge after China wakes up. Or when people like me who have been waiting for hours finally have their deposits show up. This is ridiculous. I am going on 4 hours now and nothing. Never have I had deposit issues on an exchange like this. Are you using Cryptsy? It barely works at all. I just transferred my Quarks to BTER, took about a minute and it works. |

Not sure if you're trolling or just stupid. You can buy stuff in real world with Bitcoin, it has huge publicity, even my neighbors keep asking about it. What does IFC have to offer to be worth 8x more than BTC?
A more natural number scaling for human psychology. That is very important. For example a lot of germans stil "think" in D-Mark than in "Euro", especially the older people 30+.... Exactly!!! just imagine paying 0.04984564 btc for a tablet or like 200 IFC! or 49 mBTC. This is what I would have said. Vendors should really start using mBTC! If things were to work like that in reality (Why 8x more valuable? Because 'a more natural number scaling...'), then one bitcoin could easily be worth a 100 k$. Also, that just might be the case also I still kind of think it's unlikely that BTC hits 100k ever |

Hopefully CENT is not dead yet  I invested some money into it but even at cryptsy.com CENT/XPM is only 0.00000002 – hopefully it comes back soon. Thanks for all your support. Are there any other people still invested into it? Any people still believe into it? I bought some cent today Me too but I made a wrong click and traded all my COL for it instead of a part. Hopefully CENT will go to 0.1 BTC soon  Yeah. I really don't know if it will rise to 0.00000002 LTC anymore even.. what is the deal with it now? |

Oh shit, 30 second blocks....this spells death for this coin, it will be attacked so hard one day. And SHA-3 isn't necessarily safer than SHA-2, since it's new who knows what holes it might have.
Also - CPU coin = botnets....
It uses all of the crypto functions that were SHA-3 finalists: Blake, BMW, Groest, JH, Keccak, and Skein. Also the SHA-algorithms are not chosen lightheartedly. |
