Wow, congratulations! This is great news!  You deserve it.
1162  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Development]SatoshiRat - a bitcoin game on: December 22, 2013, 02:09:55 AM
This should have more players! It just doesn't work if there is a race every few days. Maybe you should drop the requirement for five rats?
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: December 22, 2013, 01:49:21 AM
CENT markets are online now guys and girls

Was just about to post about this. And how many hours after the announcement? Cryptsy just doesn't work too well... It's the only place to trade CENT now? Not counting BTER because the deposits don't work.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [ULI] Ulicoin: A cryptocoin that is 98% better on: December 21, 2013, 11:39:42 PM
I see this coin having a great future. Maybe you should post here - http://bitcoinposter.com/ - the coin icon with a link to this thread or the coin's web page when one is available. Still room under the finnish flag  Grin
1165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining hardware or cloud mining? on: December 20, 2013, 08:26:33 PM
Cex.io will pay you off if you know how to use it, know when difficulty changes and so on. You can't make profit just by mining, you have to know how to trade. But it can be profitable. For BTC mining I'd suggest cloud mining, if you order ASICs now it's pure luck. If you want to mine with hardware I'd suggest looking into altcoins and GPU mining. FPGAs/ASICs are coming for Scrypt, too but you could get your rig together in a week.
1166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: got 10 MH/s SCRYPT to play with what do you reccomend? on: December 20, 2013, 08:03:51 PM
Mine in a pool that automatically selects the most profitable coin, sucs as Middlecoin. You have a decent rig for a newbie... what kind of a setup do you have?
1167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MtGox canceled my account and stole my money on: December 20, 2013, 06:07:57 PM
I did the verification when they threatened to close my account. I sent a certificate of residence and a copy of my passport, both sealed with an apostille. The first time they did not get it, only on the second time when I used registered mail.

And they unlock Your account ? Did You move your money from them ?

They did! And I moved my money out.
I got the apostille from a public notary and I got it the same day, waiting at the office. The notarization and apostilles for three documents were about 30 €. Sure you have public notaries in Brazil?

Also, an utility bill with your father's name won't do. I was not able to use an utility bill because you can't notarize that, it has to be an official document, with signatures or similar. So I got a proof of residence. Someone asked if Mt. Gox accepts a driver's license; they do.
1168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Worst Mistake Ever? on: December 20, 2013, 05:35:32 PM
Unless you can mint a coin in less than about 7 days I would not solo mine.  With 1TH you cannot do that.  Better to pool mine.
I agree, then you have to wait on average 50 days to find a block. And if you're very unlucky much longer then that.
Furthermore with increasing difficulty it would take longer and longer.

Difficulty is rising so fast, and will rise that fast in the near future that it would be most probable that he would not find a block in years.

Do you think Obama mention Dogecoin publicly in 2014? Bets?

1171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: identifying the next dogecoin on: December 20, 2013, 05:23:01 PM
crazy new currency, whos going to use the currency on their store or anything. its silly!

"Do you accept dogecoins?"
dogewhat?

Yes, it's silly and a stupid joke that got out of hand.

Now it's a funny joke when it has a market cap of millions. How is that not really funny?
1172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cex.IO Review? on: December 20, 2013, 11:53:19 AM
You can look at the threads about it, I have not really seen any accusations. It works, too, I get the amount of BTC that I should with my hash rate and I've been always able to withdraw my money.
1173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy Hashing power at CEX.io - do you think it's legit? on: December 20, 2013, 12:53:03 AM
It is good! But the price per Gh/s is high so you must trade it to make a profit, you will make a loss if you just mine. ...

Basically, the last person holding these shares is the loser. This game is about betting that you won't be the fool that gets stuck with the shares.

Maybe the last person buys cheap and mines with them for profit? Everyone that makes a loss is a loser  Cheesy
1174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just made my first withdrawal! on: December 19, 2013, 06:15:51 PM
I am mining with block erupter h/w.  As I understand it that's not an option right?

That's true, only for SHA coins.
1175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy Hashing power at CEX.io - do you think it's legit? on: December 19, 2013, 06:14:17 PM
It is good! But the price per Gh/s is high so you must trade it to make a profit, you will make a loss if you just mine. Watch out for the difficulty adjustments and how they affect the market. Anyway, definitely not a scam, you will make an additional profit of about 5 % with the merge mined altcoins (if you trade them right away) and then there are referrals which you might get. Nice to have that service anyway.
1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mining analysis on: December 19, 2013, 06:08:53 PM
True, difficulty rise is going to be awful. It's a question of who gets their miner first... the difficulty has been increasing from 1 to 4 percent daily for the past few months so your income will decrease quite rapidly. And when everyone get's ASICs the difficulty increase won't be small!

1178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi everyone, I am new and I bring a exclusively CPU mining algorithm. on: December 19, 2013, 05:53:24 PM
Well, I'm interested in this. I don't see how to make it CPU only except by making it really complex so it would be cumbersome to make FPGA/ASIC device. Are you going to tell anything about it here, or in the altcoin section? And yes, that is the correct place. There is still room for reasonable discussion although this DOGE craze and everyone making their own coins has turned it into a mess.

I think that the board should be split and new coin announcements and giveaways go a section of their own.
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is Bitcoin going to progress now that FBI owns the largest wallet? on: December 19, 2013, 05:48:14 PM
No problem. Of course it's going to make Bitcoin drop in value for a short period of time, depending on how they are sold but after that it's business as usual. Assuming they will sell the BTC, probably they will but I guess it's going to take some time.
1180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining market full of Scammers on: December 19, 2013, 05:42:31 PM
I don't see same style. Where do you see such similarities?
