1221  Economy / Auctions / Re: [DOMAIN] BITCOIN.HOLDINGS on: February 05, 2014, 02:49:51 PM
According to godaddy it's a preorder.

"Anyone may pre-register a .ventures domain during this phase. Multiple applications for the same domain will go to auction. If you are not awarded the domain, you will receive a full refund."
1222  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How safe is blockchain.info wallet on: February 05, 2014, 09:23:16 AM
Well any wallet is safe as long as your PC is safe from viruses and trojans.

Ps: It's true, you can use your bitcoins even if blockchain.info goes down, But you need to take a backup your wallet first.
1223  Other / Meta / Please Ban all these Fundraising/IPO Scams on: February 04, 2014, 09:19:12 PM
It's attracting too many scammers and peoples are getting scammed.

For eg:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=445591.0

https://blockchain.info/address/1JynRVDKL3WeuufYqmFXamgGEysT6PmWpV

He collected 2.5 BTC from users for what?  Giving his imaginary shares to new users who are not aware of these kind of scams.

1224  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-02-04 BBC News - Self-updating Bitcoin price tag shown off in east London on: February 04, 2014, 06:49:01 PM
Nice, but what if you have thousands of products in your shop?

Well I think the best thing would be to just convert your final balance at checkout.
When I'm shopping these days in the US (I'm from Canada), retailers give me the option if I want to be charged in US Dollars, or Canadian Dollars.  Retailers should be able to add other options to say Pay in BTC, and they will have the latest conversion price there.  The consumer should be smart enough that if they have $100 worth of goods that it'll be approx. 0.1BTC or something like that.

Or simply there should be a app that can scan all products (Normal barcode or USD QR codes) and add them in your shipping list, calculate final amount and convert that into bitcoins for payment and pay that retailer.

Holy hell. Well he asked me to do exchange for 4 +  BTC.
If he tries to scam you, I wouldn't mind posting his personal information here or do a police complaint (For the funds I have sent to him), even if it's a small amount.

Ps: He asked me to give 2 btc loan to him some days ago, which i refused to provide.

1232  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitsell.tv - Sell your Bitcoins - MTGOX Rates - 6% Fees - Paypal, Skrill, PM on: February 03, 2014, 10:21:42 PM
I doubt you are even using paid hosting because your site only have 3 pages and a main.js script that doesnt even works properly.

Ps:
You just came here and you already know how to use trust system.
Great.

You want customers to try your website but you can't give any proofs. Cheesy
Try Harder next time mate.
1233  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitsell.tv - Sell your Bitcoins - MTGOX Rates - 6% Fees - Paypal, Skrill, PM on: February 03, 2014, 10:09:11 PM
Seems legit, to give us -6 reputation for being new.
Nothing to say, to those people who handle without any plan.

Deal with caution with this user. His website is just 4-5 days old and it's not written anywhere that talbot owns it except on his own bitsell.tv website. Any big company will post about their upcoming website in advance on their official social pages.

No bro..you seems legit.

Here is the corrected version of your details.

Details:
Every transaction will be reviewed manually for safety stupid reasons!
So it can take up to 24 hours or lifetime until your order will be finished!
After your order, you'll get a statuspage, where you won't be able to check the status of your order!
We are only able to buy Steal  100 Bitcoins per day! Because we don't want to die from happiness
If our limit is reached, we'll withdraw your bitcoins! and tell you to fuck off

Anyways Provide proof and I'll delete everything, but frankly it's pretty funny that your site which is (according to you) owned by a big company is hosted on one.com (free hosting) ?

1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we realy need NXT / Ripple ? on: February 03, 2014, 05:09:26 PM
who knows maybe satoshi might come back in some years and release Bitcoin 2.0

He already did. And called it "Nxt".
Then why it has Java and .Net dependencies.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we realy need NXT / Ripple ? on: February 03, 2014, 05:03:48 PM
Bitcoin is a masterpiece and first decentralized crypto currency.  So frankly it doesn't matters if people are launching alternative coins now. They can't replace bitcoin.
We have found so many shiny stones till now but hey diamond is still there..

As for nxt and other coins.. We actually need them.. To attract more people.. to spread knowledge about cryptocurencies..To get better ideas and to find solutions for the flaws in our current crypto currencies..

who knows maybe satoshi might come back in some years and release Bitcoin 2.0
1237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins - buyer asked to release coins immediately ? on: February 03, 2014, 03:38:13 PM

What are your views?  Am I being over cautious here???

Don't release it until you can see the money in your account.
Even if the buyer is having a good record, he could turn to the dark side anytime. Tongue

This, You did right thing mate.
Always check funds in your bank account first and if there's some problem ask for screenshot of payment and verify our bank account number.

I also have pro trader badge on localbitcoins and frankly I never asked any seller to release payment after sending funds, I just mark payment as completed and leave a note for them to check their bank account.

1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next coin is highly misunderstood and undervalued on this forum. on: February 03, 2014, 03:09:47 PM
