what if we open a short round? I thought you meant "short" as in "maybe 2 months only". I would prefer to enter against the market I've never done that. Which exchanges offer this?

And I have a suggestion, what if we open a short round? Very soon the altcoin bull market will peak, (I believe this trend will continue for another 3-4 weeks). This is the reason why I suggest starting a short round. I don't really want to do it now, even though some altcoins went up, the total keeps getting further diluted by newly created ones. That's why I think 80% Bitcoin market dominance would be a good start. Looking at CMC.com, used even in the top 30 there are many coins I've never used. I want to try something new, just for fun: 10 people each put 0.01 BTC ($18.80 now) in a pot, for which I buy 10 different altcoins. How times have changed, it's now $484.30

Alternatively it's possible that in Electrum you pasted the private key without putting p2wpkh: in front of it. If you don't do that then you might generate an address starting with a "1" or "3" instead of native segwit's bc1. Correct. Full version: For P2SH-P2WPKH addresses (Addresses starting with "3")Just add p2wpkh-p2sh: directly in front of your private key. For example p2wpkh-p2sh:5BitcoinPrivateKey This should generate the corresponding p2wpkh-p2sh bitcoin address. For P2WPKH addresses (Bech32, starting with 'bc1')This time we'll add p2wpkh: in front of the private key. For example This should generate the corresponding Bech32 address It's about time Electrum checks all possible address formats on it's own. I can never remember what to type.6. When you enter that private key into bitadress.org it shows completely different public address and does not show the one you generated in bitcoin core (bc1***) Bitaddress doesn't support Segwit, right?

Now that $50k has passed, who's with me expecting $60k within 2 days?

Ledger Support can't/won't help me and insist that this address did not come from my wallet or 24 word seed. How would they know? Does Ledger not allow the creation of Segwit compatible addresses (starting with a 3)? I notice on the blockchain that there is an exact same address relating to BCH - not sure why this is? That's normal: BCH uses the same addresses. The address isn't funded on the BCH-chain, so just ignore it. Anyone got any idea how I can access/retrieve my coins? Have you tried IanColeman? If you try this, do it offline from a Live Linux DVD (running from RAM). Don't risk compromising your 24 words by touching an online device. This transaction was done with the old chrome apps Did you verify address 36ezRREzDYH3uSvADoSSpoLZrFVigQkmLp on the Ledger's own screen before sending the transaction?

Is new topic for reference only or must be free for discussion and may be for appeal too? May be theymos explain something here? I can't read that topic, so I can't comment on that case. But in general, it would depend on each case whether or not I'd support a Flag with a locked Reference topic. Locking the topic might be useful against spam or trolling, or just long after the Flag was created. There's also not really a solution: topics sometimes get locked, either by the creator or by a Mod. That doesn't necessarily mean the Flag itself should be invalidated. Many Flags don't even have a Reference topic anymore.

I would say it wouldn’t be unreasonable if someone who has a sales thread uses their alt account to ask a frequently asked question so long as the question is answered quickly so not to result in two bumps that seriously affect where the thread is located. So: LoyceMobile: Hey LoyceV, how much Forkcoin dust do I need to split my coins? LoyceV: Thank you for your interest LoyceMobile, you only need to buy a very small amount. That would violate this rule: 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed. And it's just dumb If it's a FAQ, the answer could just be added to the OP. That being said, I do sometimes post from my Mobile to notify my main account to check things.

How do I calculate the exact transaction size to set my fee accordingly? It shows on the Send tab under Coin Control Features.

Your wallet is a "Dogecoin Core" wallet.dat for Dogecoin based from your screenshot. It's almost as if he knew this when he picked his username.

This topic brought me here again. I needed for an instant exchange for Forkcoins a few times, but wouldn't know which one to trust. Simpleswap.io for instance has a low minimum amount, but their topic has mixed reviews. It would be really great if you can add a (un)reliability rating to the list.

{...snip...} I hope there is one last push over $50k. But I would not be surprised if we reached the top for this cycle. Elwar, bro, what are you smoking? We’re still early in this bull cycle My thoughts exactly. I like the rainbow graph, and it could easily go 3 times higher before dropping to a value above the previous ATH.

What is the best way to group tens / hundreds of smaller inputs into a bigger output if speed of transaction is not important? I'd use Coin Control to select the inputs you want, and send the entire amount with the lowest possible fee. Then make sure your wallet keeps broadcasting the transaction. See my topic on consolidating small inputs. Just in case, I'd keep the transaction under 10 kB. It might be easier to fit a block that way.

so your theory is these are small amount accounts are a result of dust attacks? Could some be 'left over change' during a transaction that is lost/forgotten about? Dust attacks typically use the minimum amount (546 sat), so that's quite likely. From this data, I can't count the addresses that hold a dust input and also a larger amount. Feel free to check a few: 1EM72MRxX5teiLDZDkp6vpB7Fs4gVcsBWF 546 197uWhobsZ4boSR8LjZTCpKkHuCQL15y4N 546 1DcjMsvCj1AATH6kQubsikK3pUeyFhSngp 546 1P2o8eACQFFDHHq4zZHSwPaTr347raGNNM 546 1ECYdDEmzRKm53i7H4PhCEar2SdtTemfgC 546 1J9xAa2fFabDZmPmapiczcRoeeSqtXLSC9 546 12wj7j4RSduvEt6TqoKTgH6W92Zdh1MUmL 546 1F1qvANdwZkSFosjxVY9VHD7phnZyhnXhH 546 1FN4QEPDT6K2QT6SNETmgPJdL4Qajx5x2K 546 1JzAdzFR89jT8rTCi8LzV6kj57NeXaBXd1 546 1Mik1tJvn6aunTgSbN2UzitzdZBoxeqV5E 546 3LGrNL6toFoeJb9DGYRKvvaheyVg9jCJq6 546 19gXeh5v5T2UTLJrPPWok424EuyTAtr3vK 546 3Pimkc1JiSiMVvMF4fATmWW1Z76TzVQQex 546 1EB6PXMKDE8fkN9DZPPuzH1qoN6nzuqjN6 546 1DVzTh1zA8azcjWvcHnwKvKc8ACYhSLRwd 546 3BSK1KX3WzdXcQDSoXL39g3X7HH1CKsUqy 546 17c6ii1kBTBDhEhB5DVjY5DLFe9pyYtf4y 546 1AKSbLMPjwErAsijTPUrNF87XfjMzEF7Jt 546 1C7tsDp4SGGsWzySycobW5SKZNDtGdzYd6 546 3BPMryLEyp6eCSgdbayrSroF1abU52H5Ti 546 3JbUHH3ZdfjMar6PDEFVxZVJcL4g3wxFZ1 546 1Km9HaKxEntE8NPaBp1ataTMVKeaMiZe4x 546 3Be4gfZBe2zfWNAR3zjqXpr2aCSwgJ9CkH 546 18kgQniviHyMxTEmhojASfvB39cuwayv19 546 1Nzzx5jFFv8NWoNSAMVxKK5EuVEnr91x2r 546 13CHpohNridm8L6VMSsZ4NqvVdbwqdsCwN 546 1N99f4eC6TbzF7iHCDzMhhaC2HW9qZGc1R 546 18ESDDtFFqFSbHfpe1VfNWg7A2Ym17QCFr 546 14aPgqsQAxrHktVDe4yHwHdmzNAb5pFiBB 546 39ZjTnjbFbXBHmPPm3SxHw8eBV34ggDzL7 546 19AhE5cFabYu1k7EZf1rCNMWz2nmZ4agx1 546 16owPsPAATsEz8mMC2SJEZkcnRC5n9Djb9 546 I only checked the last one, and it's an Omli Layer transaction. Great, this crap spams the blockchain too As for dust attacks: I'm now kinda curious how much was paid in fees (and how much data got added to the blockchain) because of people who included the dust in their transactions. It's a lot of data so I can't quickly get a number for this. If wallets could start ignoring dust inputs by default, that would be great!

Address 1EFpqd9uFGhbjQGPwJMwwbmJpqmDw5YbNK never received Bitcoin. Judging by the amounts in the screenshot: is it possible this wallet.dat belongs to an altcoin?

No hints as the password was created by me punching keyboard symbols randomly to create a ridiculously 100 plus pass word that will take millennia to crack. Just 6 random characters would already make it expensive to crack, see I'm BIP38 curious, please help me out!. I just wanted to see if I figured out the password. I'm curious: what is it? I tried "I am not", but it's not that one.

is their some specific order I need to go through? To reduce the risk if you install a compromised wallet, you should start with the most valuable Forks. And don't forget the lack of replay protection, so get some Forkcoin dust to include in your transaction before moving your BCH/BSV/BCH-A.

today we have added 300 Litecoin into our mixer PM me a signed message proving ownership and I'll confirm it here without exposing the address(es). I know, this is wishful thinking. You don't have 300 Litecoin.

I actually think LoyceV and suchmoon are the biggest offenders of this issue Cute, there you go again. Why can't you just leave me out of your drama? You've been trying to smear my reputation since I didn't pick your side in your feud with Vod, and of course since I called you out on your tacky behaviour. Then there is the case of your PM-threat with fake negative feedback because you felt insulted, and your retaliatory Trust exclusion. Sorry for the off-topic, but since this isn't the first time OgNasty drags me into his feud with Vod by off-topic attacks on my reputation, I feel like I had to respond. Further reading: here and here.
Is this situation one of those mistakes? In my opinion, yes. I don't know why he left you that feedback, and I don't agree with it. I saw the tag earlier already, and couldn't figure out the reason after checking the Reference link. I don't consider this correct use of the Trust system.
