I think it should be pretty obvious that any site that pays as much as they do just for signing up and that pays as much as they do for referrals is a scam. TBH, it is pretty smart what they did, they made the threshold to withdraw high so very few people would ever try to have their "gold" sent to them, plus their "storage" service was free so assuming they are a legit company, it would make sense for their customers to not try to have their gold sent to them.

They are a scam site, and anyone who is trying to get people to sign up as a referral or is advertising their site is promoting a scam.

I never saw a scam with so many faces:

Wait till you see their Linkedin pages.

Why is their entire website denominated in DOLLARS.

Seagulls are OK. Pigeons (aka "Grinder Birds") should be shot, cooked, and eaten on sight.

News Flash! This just in. It seems it was the crows holding court at their vending machines that trained the seagulls to be killing machines. Film at 11.

Meanwhile, crows have learnt to mine for food.

In late 2012 the the fire destroyed everything, we then collected the funds to rebuild the cafe (since the cafe was the most profitable of the 3 businesses) the cafe was rebuilt in late feb or early march of 2013, and began buying other miners, started with usb miners moved to rockminers then to dragon and blizzard miners. We then put the cafe up for sale in late 2013 and finally sold it in mid to late 2014 and moved to Davao in late 2014.

December 8, 2012: Fire destroyed Leroy Fodor's first bitcoin mining operation.

Q1, 2013: Leroy Fodor rebuild the Internet Cafe, the most profitable aspect of the 3 businesses (bitcoin mining not being one of the three: Grocery, Internet Cafe and Disco [excluding his cock fighting venture at the same venue]). During the same timeframe, replacement(?) miners were purchased to replace the 4th business destroyed in the fire.

Q4, 2013: Now that the Internet Cafe was fully rebuilt and running profitably, Leroy Fodor put it up for sale so that he and his growing family could move to Davao and dedicate his life strictly to profitably mine cryptocurrencies, accomplishing the feat (moving to Davao) in Q3/Q4, 2014.

Question, you lying piece of shit, Leroy Fodor: If the above account is 100% true, then why on November 3, 2013, did you pen the following:

Yesterday jhazmyne comes up to me and hands me 29 pesos of her money that I gave her last week for a party she went to. She said here daddy, Now we can go to Merica, we can get our plane trip to Merica for us. How sweet she is. Took her only money and wanted to contribute to go back home to "Merica"

@ StakeMiners' 140+ investors: Considered yourselves 100% fucked and say goodbye to your investments, for Leroy Fodor has 100% been called out and he's probably now making plans to exit the cryptocurrency community.

The following is Leroy Fodor's listing for the property and Internet Cafe which, by the way, doesn't mention an operational Internet Cafe, but it does depict how profitable it once was:

We have a 420 square meter lot and building for sale. The building was built and can be converted back to a 2 level building. The building has it's own septic tank for the CR that is in place. It has Fresh water and a pump and tank for running water, the lot also has private access to the river. On the lot is also a Piggery with it's own septic tank. Spread throughout the lot are, 2 Mango trees (harvestable) Banana trees, Papaya tree, palm tree, coconut trees. We have the lot split, 120 SQM including the building and another lot of 300SqM which has the piggery.
Location: The Location is on the main Highway between Butuan and Surigao. There is a elementary school 2 minutes walking distance away, across the street is the Barangay Hall, the barangay Gym, Tanod Outpost, and A Health Center.
Businesses that could work in this lot:
This Lot has so Much potential because of it's great Location, We had a large grocery store in here that profited 50,000 A Month A disco Bar that profitted 8000 a Month and an internet cafe that profited 22,000 A month. We used the building for all 3 businesses and also lived in the building as well.
Other business Options:
Gold Buying Station. The location is situated at the bottom of 3 mountain outlets from 3 main mining industries, The Parada Gold mines, The Dil Pilar gold mines and the Tubai Gold mines. All 3 locations must directly pass your property in order to sell their gold and copper.
Perfect for a Call center. The building as it sits can hold 80 computer stations and with no rent and owning the building a call center would make Huge profit.
You could also use the lot and building for development of rental properties. Cabadbaran is growing tremendously, a new prince mall, new government centers, and city government structures. population grows by the month. This property is situated in the largest barangay in Cabadbaran with main Highway access. We have already had people interested in renting the property. Can I just ask something here? Am I reading right that he is saying he had 6950 computers mining with their CPU's? Or does he mean that he is CPU mining with graphics cards? Or is he saying he had 6950 cards and the program he was using was CPUMiner and he left the program running all day?

I'm pretty sure he meant Radeon HD 6950 cards but it took me a few passes to parse that text.

In a subsequent post I realized that at first I dubbed the collective "Frounders" alluding to the coinage being of Frown + Found[ed] to cement the notion that they frown about the Rogues attempts, then continued with how in essence they're all equals, inadvertently creating a dilemma.

Well, I believe I may have a solution: Prior to Rogues trekking their path, Frounders never had a reason to categorize themselves.

For those who missed it, here's the reason why the Frounders' world is called Oparin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Oparin#Theory_of_the_origin_of_life.

On Oparin, Frounders live in the <insert letter here> dimension where Rogues want to eventually create three dimension SIs.

Ask me how I solved the dilemma of having the Frounders represented on screen in the movie. I believe it's a genius idea, but then again I'm bias.  Wink

I suppose I've never considered a ball more than just a spherical object. However, now that you've cast some light on the subject it does appear to be more than just that. Giving it some thought it seems to have subjective qualities enough so that non-spherical objects can be appropriately termed a "ball". Perhaps emergence can explain the balls multitude of forms and uses.

In philosophy, systems theory, science, and art, emergence is a process whereby larger entities, patterns, and regularities arise through interactions among smaller or simpler entities that themselves do not exhibit such properties.

This person is using the popular crowdfunding trend to make their way to a million dollars, the funny thing is that people are donating so far up to $11k !

Interesting to see just how far this goes.

Based on stealing his theme, here's my idea: wedoxxedamillionaire.com. A crowdfund campaign to garner as much as possible via having his family, friends and Google-fu strangers dox the living shit outta him for LOLs. Some of what'll be present would be true, and others not. The reader will decide while they contribute to the cause under the constant threat that wedoxxedamillionaire.com WILL go dark if funds cease to be amassed. It's their call!

The dude wants to live in the spotlight, so why not contribute in whatever fashion to make his dream come true, making bank in the process.

Donate $1 and you can pen, "So-and-so is a <insert one word here>!"
Donate $5 and you can pen an up-to 100 word prose.
Donate $10 and you can pen whatever.
Donate $25 and your prose can include Photoshop images.
Donate $100 and you can include doxxing your family and friends.
Danate $10,000 and I will immediately end this campaign, whereupon you can take it over and easily earn $1M+.

The beauty of my idea is that the dude has boxed himself in by making the campaign an only 90-day event, whereas my idea would be ongoing doxxing him forever.

I wish some people could bring links from respected sources to back up their claims about how awful the Japanese prisons are. It's certainly true that they're different, but well, everything's just so different in Japan. I believe nothing happens if you let the soap fell down in the shower in a Japanese prison.

The info isn't really hard to find.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Japanese+prison+conditions+

I did as thy sayeth:

If convicted of murdering Nicola Furlong, Richard Hinds could face up to 10 years in an adult prison, where he may be forced to sleep on tatami mat floors without heating in winter, bath communally, and be required to undertake educational programmes aimed at understanding the grief of his victim’s family.

Police: Karpeles, tell us why, how and what you did with them bitcoins on Mt Gox or you will be forced to take communal baths.
Mark: Communal baths? Now you tell me, otherwise I would've have spewed as much as I had to date. From now on, mums the word. About the no heat threat, you did noticed that I'm a blubbering whale, didn't you?
12416  Other / Off-topic / Re: Japanese prisons have lots of rules on: August 04, 2015, 10:37:28 AM
Apparently Japanese prisons have lots of rules that are very strictly enforced. For example, rules are things like you must close your eyes when you eat and you must ask the permission of a guard to wipe the sweat off your forehead. Apparently inmates are watched by guards incessantly, so if you need to ask permission to scratch or something, then a guard is standing by handy to do that.

Violating the least rule results in "solitary confinement", which is not just being left alone in a room like in the United States. In Japan the little room, which is more like a closet, has some metal loops in the wall. They strap this leather and metal straight jacket thing on you and hook you up to the rings. The belt is wide and can be tightened against the disobeying prisoner's abdomen so that they can only take very shallow breaths. Apparently it is extremely uncomfortable. During meal time (once a day) you get a bowl of soup. Naturally the victim, err prisoner, is not released from the "protective restraints". They just unhook the prisoner from the wall, lay them down by the bowl of soup which is placed on the floor and they lap it up like a dog. Afterwards the prisoner is lifted and hooked up again. They stay in that condition for the term of the solitary confinement, anywhere from 2 to 10 days, depending on how much the prisoner pissed off the guards. There are no bathrooms, of course, so the prisoner just shits his soup diarrhea on himself.

The main human interaction in Japanese prisons, solitary confinement and otherwise, is a guard bitch slapping you and screaming in your face what a worthless piece of trash you are.

Karpeles, no apple pie for you for one year!
12417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Oparin: What if on a lifeless planet... on: August 04, 2015, 09:11:02 AM
None of the characters will have names in the movie save for how the credits will pin [voice] actors to their roles, whereupon the viewer would not have any problems associating the two upon viewing the movie without having to struggle as to who said what. Again, I have a genius solution to overcome this task.

Even though no hierarchy system is in place, some Frounder voices are louder than others, but that doesn't take away from Oparinians' ingrained laissez-faire ideal even when Rogues started their Argonautic quest, albeit a riff soon opened due to their pursuit where Harmony was in danger of being disrupted, exactly what founding Frounders frowned upon... <getting tired, and can't think straight, but there's an idea here somewhere I'm tryin' to relay, so, again, feel free to chime in>

I'm goin' revisit that last paragraph later, but until then...

There's a love interest (of sorts) between a Rogue and a Frounder, the former trying to convince the latter that its course of action is wiser. In this case, the Rogue could be a female voice, or both voices could be of the same sex (of course, as we as humans know gender). Fuck it! Since there's more than one Rogue, both could be incorporated representing two separate [love] interests.

Even though there are no families affiliated with Frounders/Rogues, such could be easily implied given how close they are to one another on Oparin.

Oparin could have more than one sun and/or moons, labeling such using some yet decided upon jargon.
12418  Other / Off-topic / Re: Oparin: What if on a lifeless planet... on: August 04, 2015, 08:56:28 AM
One argument that the Rogues present is that one day the SIs will take Frounders to distant lights.

Lights = Stars (in case you missed it)

Rogues are Frounders having a different view then their counterparts and are only referred to as such by fellow Frounders to differentiate them from the others.

All Frounders are equal in stature.

Since every good movie has some sort of sex and violence, Oparin would have to somehow incorporate such into the mix so to be viable.

The sex/love aspect won't be that much of an issue, having just figured that out for the most part, but have yet to create something in my mind that'll represent violence. Gulp, just figured it out also upon penning the full stop. I'm on a fuckin' roll now!
12419  Other / Off-topic / Oparin: What if on a lifeless planet... on: August 04, 2015, 08:39:01 AM
...named Oparin, occupied only by computer-esque beings, a handful of the occupants banded together to try to create the first SI (Sentient Individual) at the risk of being alienated from the fold if they continued with their pursuits?

After the Rogues presented the ideation phase for their primordial soup, they next sought the execution of eventually creating SIs with the hope of one day the SIs will build physical devices for the Oparinians to reside.

The Frounders (think frown + found) adamantly reject change to the status quo fearing SIs may bring about Climate Lethargy disrupting its current vivacity, among other unfathomable concerns, if Oparin were to be populated with not only SIs, but other whatever-based entities needed for their survival. But their greatest fear is that one day the original Oparinians will no longer be needed, they becoming extinct when the SIs, et al., reach the tipping point and take over Oparin and stabilize its climate.

The only saving grace that the Frounders have that such probably won't happen in their eonic lifetime is that of overcoming the memory storage needed to sustain an SI and programming the language they would use to communicate with one another, not to mention what would need to be developed to keep the SIs stimulated.

Please weigh in with your thoughts.

When I first thought of the above the other day, I envisioned it as a movie [short], but couldn't get past the notion that it'd be pretty boring since there would be no people, devices, etc., representing the Frounders and the Rogues - just dialog. But I have now figured out how such could be easily overcome so that a viewer (if the movie's ever made) would hopefully remain glued to the screen, of which I'll gladly share once you start sharing your ideas.

I believe that Oparin would suffice as the title of the movie, unless a better candidate is more appealing. Same true for the use of Frounders and Rogues and Climate Lethargy.

The words computer or human will not be used because they don't, nor probably won't ever exist, yet, of course, are implied.

Production cost to produce such a movie would be extremely minimal, even with how I've overcame the just-having-dialog dilemma.

Yes, Oparin would be an allegory, one that I would be incapable of writing over and beyond the supplying the gist of the storyline. Amateur voice actors should be enough for production, especially if some resembled renown personalities, e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC8oTvmTFcg, if the likes of these panelist are unavailable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8G701_ahH8.
