12481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford Vs Horn on: March 24, 2018, 09:30:44 AM
So no more Jeff Horn and Manny Pacquiao rematch? that's sad maybe they didn't agree with both parties condition and shares.

The fight will still push through on June 9 of this year,
And now if this is now for good then these two will definitely going to give a clash. As your choice with Crawford OP, I say that don't underestimate Horn.
12482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: March 23, 2018, 11:53:47 PM
Calculation don't have anything to do with our winning so it won't increase our winning percentage too,if no then maths experts may start doing gambling everyday then can become millionaires in very short time.Maybe it can help us in some games but it won't help to win the games either.
I don't know if that Math teacher was able to crack down the lotto jackpot correctly for 4 times or it's just a mere coincidence and pure luck.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2023514/Joan-R-Ginther-won-lottery-4-times-Stanford-University-statistics-PhD.html
That's a high reward for such a hard statistics problem knowing that the chances of that is enormous. Probably having a PhD in Stanford makes you the best among the rest and using mathematics to solve future possible problems even in predictions.
But it's unclear on how the programming of the random number with lotto comes out. If this teacher decoded the random result that comes out there must be certain sort of Math behind that logic. I'm still confuse on how did she managed to win for so many times. I wish that she was my neighbor and ask her to help me bet in lotto with her advice and given numbers.

I highly doubt that anyone could predict the correct numbers for the lottery (any national lottery at least). Unless they have a quantum computer I just don't see it, irregardless of how smart they are or how much they know about maths.

Still.. Would be nice to see what they did to make it work 4 times, but then again I've heard of others being extremely lucky winning millions in several different games over a short period of time. That's just the luck of the draw in this little thing we call life.
It's hard to believe on how it was figured out but that was hella amazing bet.

I'll not ask anymore on how she managed to breakthrough or guess the correct winning numbers but this is part of the history.  And in the end, you are right it's a matter of luck.
12483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell, Hold or Buy? on: March 23, 2018, 11:46:23 PM
Every coiner will suggest you to keep on holding. I'm not mad at myself just because I miss selling at the peak there is still some other chance because if you're a pretty tough supporter of bitcoin, you'll definitely on that day. Don't be so hasty by making decision and if you don't know what to do then do nothing, hold.
12484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum be a Better Investment than Bitcoin in 2018? on: March 23, 2018, 11:22:02 PM
Obviously people who are suggesting to hold "this" coin is definitely a holder of it and he is attracting others to pump and buy it for all that coin holders benefit. By just giving a couple of statement about the comparison of bitcoin and ethereum it isn't enough. But everyone has it's own title to express their opinions freely unless that is not hurting or attacking others.
12485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter CEO Says Bitcoin Will Be Worlds Single Leading Currency on: March 23, 2018, 11:01:56 PM
World's single currency? As if the world government will agree on this one and this can be the fulfillment of many conspiracy theories about one world government, one currency.

If Twitter CEO believes bitcoin like so then why Twitter is banning the advertisement of a crypto.
Mate there's no official statement from twitter that they are going to ban cryptocurrency advertisements. Those articles came out does have "likely" on the title and authors are just speculating since google and facebook made the first move.
12486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which big company will adopt bitcoin first? and why? on: March 23, 2018, 10:46:36 PM
The rumor about amazon accepting bitcoin is still a rumor I don't know if that will be in reality and they will adopt it soon. With facebook, there can be a glitch with what's happening besides the ban of crypto ads has been implemented. Maybe Mark Zuckerberg is planning to create his own crypto coin for his social network as an alternative to bitcoin but he can potentially accept bitcoin too.
12487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 23, 2018, 10:34:53 PM
Does somebody know if Antetokounmpo will play tonight or no?
He didn't played last time against LA Clipper because of his right ankle. And this is still the reason he can't play again for their match against Bulls.  Undecided

12488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whales always be bathing on: March 23, 2018, 10:19:13 PM
That's not new. When there's enough pump for the meantime they will not waste that moment of cashing out and that makes the price goes down again when they started to sell at the same time. And those weak handlers will worry as usual and we can see a lot of threads that are published here everyday when the market seems not to perform very well.
12489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: March 23, 2018, 09:56:53 PM
So may Government think twice before banning.
Not all advertisements will make the government think twice.

It's a good exposure if there is someone that is willing to pay for advertisement but it's expensive if the volunteer will put that advertisement in televisions. Advertising on the web is even much cheaper and more effective.
12490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can I do with $300 USD? on: March 23, 2018, 01:44:20 PM

12491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: March 23, 2018, 01:17:26 PM
I agree that 75% of ICO is scam, but there are promising projects worthy of attention.
There are some that are legit and most are only scams. That's why there are investors that are skeptic with the other projects because they became victims of those scams. And for those that are still thinking on what are some of these ICO's that are worthy of attention. I would like to suggest VLB, it has a very responsive set of support and as well as they are active in promoting their ICO. And the last news I've got is that one of their staff attended a conference on Japan.

employees of VLB or SONDER ??
I don't know what sonder is but it's obvious that I'm talking about VLB. And that conference I'm saying was organized by Blockchain EXE in Tokyo and the staff that was sent there is no other than the co-founder itself.

No matter what you doing you need be smart and think global!
Investors should definitely think smartly if it is about their money investing.
12492  Economy / Speculation / Re: A tip by Bill Gates: buy Bitcoin on: March 22, 2018, 05:05:28 PM
"It's easy to criticize something that you don't fully understand".
That's a fact just like Warren Buffett and other economists and financial experts who are FUDDING about bitcoin. I thought before that BG is telling us that bitcoin is something that is going to grow in the future but it seems that he changed and now going into sideways with bitcoin.

Everyone has their own right to give their opinion.
But sometimes that freedom is becoming the tool of those that wants to take the advantage of getting into something.

12494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term ICO Project to invest in? Just invested some good ICO's on: March 22, 2018, 04:18:18 PM
yes , orbis whitepaper seems like a good project , it gives you all the information you need. pecunio's i didn't find it .
No, I'm talking about VLB. I don't have much information with Pecunio and are you sure with this project? I don't know when did their pre-sale starts and they have gathered $6,500,000 and there is still 27 days remaining. Is there anyway to know the wallet of that project?

And for VLB this is their light paper https://vlb.io/assets/doc/light-paper.pdf and white paper https://vlb.io/assets/doc/whitepaper.pdf
12495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term ICO Project to invest in? Just invested some good ICO's on: March 21, 2018, 05:42:25 PM
I'm not familiar with orbis and pecunio. You have invested good amount with those ICO's if I were you, I'll take these guys advice.

First rule to invest is you need to do technical analysis, and second is only to invest what you can afford to lose to minimize the risk of losing a lot of money as cryptocurrency is a high risk high return investment.

That is my suggestion for investing.

Next, if you ask me what good ICO for a long term investment, the last ICO i have met is VLB. The project and their member is at great level, but i guess this is a long running project because it can not be executed in a short time, as they already mentioned it on their timeline in their whitepaper. You can look at them for yourself at https://vlb.io/

Investment is Risky, But, I highly Recommend, Vehicle Lifecycle blockchain (VLB token) a Realistic Project, i don't want to spoil you just do your Own Careful Checking and Review, if you find yourself comfortable With it, Then invest Some. http://vlb.io/ please carefully Read the articles of the Project and get yourself educated with it. Enjoy! I am new to investing and also cheking some new Project, i have suggest One Which I can Say a 100% trusted and no doubt. Still searching some Good ICO project.
VLB does have a good team and reachable support can you can interact with and they are open with any questions if you'll contact them. I guess they discussing and trying to lower the minimum investment from 1 ETH to 0.5 ETH.
The Orbis team is very responsive also , I am happy with the investment cause i won 30% and didn't lose with this crash of crypto ...  Angry
Good for you if there's still had enough for you to invest and you want to diversify you can still cope up with some bonus before the ICO period ends.

Have you read their light paper and white paper?
12496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 600 dollar to invest on: March 21, 2018, 05:24:11 PM
Choose TRX. TRX is a very popular coin.
TRX has been popular because of it's fake marketing that cause hype to this coin but I don't think it's still a good choice now.

Is buying elixir or  telcoin a good idea ? help me please
I don't have these coins but you can consider joining an ICO like VLB which you can invest that $600 as 1 ETH's value now is $560 so you still got $40 left for other coins and 1 ETH is investment on it with an additional 65 VLB tokens as bonus.
12497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: March 21, 2018, 05:06:59 PM
for me ICO is the most appropriate place to invest because from there we have many bonuses in altcoin purchase and if the price when listing goes up then we will have many profit
You mentioned about bonuses it's one of the best reason why it's good to invest to ICO's but take note that not all ICO's are worth to invest. Still do your own research and don't just fall to ICO's that are promising you great bonus and profit in the end. Look on what the project is all about if the dev team is serious with that project. And as for bonus VLB is still giving 10% bonus until March 26 for those who will invest to them right now.
12498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect price to go up or price down? on: March 21, 2018, 04:48:07 PM
Once I read a tweet from a famous investor (maybe McAfee or Verr, I'm not sure): This year BTC with touch 6k $ and 60k$.
This was written before the January big crash. I personally believe him
You believe him(John McAfee) with his prediction that it can go $1,000,000 on 2020?
Why not? What was the % of the price jump in 2017? and that was just in one year, we still have (technically) 3 to go. I see that prediction as very real one. Also, he has been right with some alt-coins spiking in price, regardless of whether he's involved in some pump and dump or not.
I'm just asking since I saw the progress of bitcoin for this year and there's no doubt that growth can extend up to unexpected ratio and percentage each year.

I'm not just impress with what he did by pumping some alt coins but I hope he's doing good with his bitcoin prediction or we will see him eat his own on national tv.
