The Litecoin Gold retail image shows the 2018 binary code that would be around the outside of this BTC round as well.  It is: 001100100011000000110001001110000110111101111010 or 2018oz.

If you look around the outside of the coin on the retail image (I'm caught using the 2017 image), starting at the top of the coin and going clockwise, you get this: 001100100011000000110001001101110110111101111010.

If you paste that into a site like http://www.unit-conversion.info/texttools/convert-text-to-binary/ you get "2017oz" which means it was a 2017 round.  This auction is for a 2018 round, and the binary would reflect that.  There are several other messages in the binary also.

I think he's asking whether these are the frosted or mirrored rounds.  They are available in 4 different styles (frosted, mirrored, gold highlighted, gold plated).
